🌲 I can tickle myself?! 2️⃣
Summary: After a long night of clone fights and Wendy plans, Tyrone and Dipper head up to the roof to debrief. However, the two soon make a scientific discovery about clones and touch. 🌲
Switches: Dipper & Tyrone
Author’s Note: Finally got this done my gosh- Hope you all enjoy!! I miss Tyrone so much! 🌲
That was… an interesting night to say the least.
Dipper and Tyrone made their way up to the rooftop hangout spot of the Mystery Shack. The muffled music from the party mixed with the sounds of cicadas and crickets creating a calming white noise. A small breeze created the perfect summer night temperature for chatting with your clone about the nights recent happenings.
Dipper and Tyrone sat on the edge of the roof and swung their legs. Dipper sighed, breaking the awkward silence to talk to himself.
“I can’t believe we blew it.” He hung his head low.
Tyrone brought his hands to his lap, playing with his fingers trying to figure out what to say.
“It’s alright, man. We live and we learn.” Tyrone looked to Dipper, still wearing a frown and hanging his head.
“I mean, you didn’t totally blow it.” Tyrone put a hand on Dipper’s shoulder.
“You made some progress when you just talked to her and didn’t do any of that list stuff.” Dipper recalled the conversation Wendy and Dipper had outside the bathroom.
The moment where two freaks had a small heart to heart. He smiled, but soon frowned again when he thought about Robbie.
“Yeah I guess. I mean do you think we even have a chance with her?” Dipper looked to Tyrone.
“She’s 15, we’re 12, and then there’s Robbie. Stupid skinny-jean wearing jerk.” Dipper and Tyrone simultaneously crossed their arms in frustration.
Tyrone glanced at Dipper again. He didn’t like seeing him beat himself up. At least this time emotionally and not physically like earlier.
“Aww, c’mon, Wendy and Robbie can’t last forever. And who knows, maybe we will get to dance with her one day~” Tyrone elbowed at Dipper’s side in a playful manner. Dipper twitched and found himself snickering at the touch.
“Hehey- knohock it ohohoff!” Tyrone abruptly stopped. Tyrone and Dipper each gasped at the reaction Dipper classic had just emitted.
“Woah…” Tyrone said.
“Did you just?” Dipper stared in disbelief.
“I think I did…”
“I can tickle myself?!” The two said at the same time.
A small blush formed on both of their cheeks. It was no secret that Dipper was ticklish. Extremely ticklish in fact. And you know Mabel takes advantage of that any chance she can. But this, this was a scientific discovery. Just happened to also be a flustering one.
“Mahan, this is crazy! I never even thought about the possibility that one could tickle themselves as a clone.” Dipper exclaimed.
“I know right? I mean, I guess when watching movies about clones you really don’t think of the- AHH!” Tyrone’s arm slammed to his side where a curious Dipper Classic had just poked.
To his surprise and amusement, Tyrone seemed to share his ticklishness even as a paper clone.
“Ha! It works on you too! Interesting.” Dipper excitedly yelled. Tyrone rubbed away the phantom feeling. It was so strange. Yes he was a clone of Dipper who had all of his memories of past tickle fights with Mabel, but since he had only been around for this night, the feeling was somehow both brand new yet nostalgic.
“Yeah, I guess it dohoes- hehehehe! Wahahahait!” Tyrone suddenly giggled when Dipper started rapid fire poking at his sides and ribs. Tyrone backed away from the edge, both in fear of falling and to try and get away from Dipper’s tickling hands.
“Dihihipper! Hahaha! Stahahahap!” Tyrone struggled to stay upright, pulling his legs into his chest to block Dipper’s hands for a moment. That didn’t stop Dipper’s hands from curling into his sides, however.
“No way! This is totally something I gotta test. Plus you so owe me for locking me in a closet earlier.” Tyrone groaned through his giggles. I guess he did try and take over his life-
“Let’s see, do we share the same spots?” Dipper thought out loud moving to squeeze at Tyrone’s knees that were so conveniently positioned right in front of him.
“Ohoho my gohohosh!” Tyrone squealed and kicked his legs. Loud, high pitched giggles filling the night air and causing Dipper to chuckle.
“Seems like we do.” Dipper continued to squeeze and prod. He had to admit, he kind of understood now why Mabel tickled him all the time. His reactions were pretty funny.
While in deep thought, Tyrone took this opportunity to reach out and latch his fingers onto Dipper’s ribs and start scribbling. Dipper barked out a laugh and fell back against the rooftop.
“GAHAHAHA! TIHIYROHONE! NAHAT FAHAHAIR!” Dipper protested. His arms glued against his sides as Tyrone readjusted himself to get a better angle.
“Nohot fair? Dude, you literally just started tickling me right away! Now that’s unfair.” Tyrone playfully shouted before tickling away at his bottom ribs. Dipper shrieked and curled in on himself. Trying his hardest to shield every possible tickle spot they both knew the other could exploit.
“Heh. No wonder Mabel tickles us so much. It’s kinda fun.” Tyrone commented, making Dipper classic blush and shove at his hands when he dug in harder.
“Ohoho my gohohosh ShuhuHUHUT UHUHUP!” Getting teased by yourself was a whole new level of embarrassing. Not only did Tyrone know exactly where to attack, but he knew every thought that could be circulating in his head about the situation. Surely he wouldn’t say more of those things out loud thought right? Right…
“What if Wendy found out we were this ticklish. Oho man, we’d get tickled like all the time.” Tyrone seemed to have a lot more confidence than Dipper- because why the heck would Tyrone say something like that?!
Oh yeah, cause it would make Dipper absolutely melt into the floor as if he were the paper clone who got splashed with water.
“Duhuhude! Ahaha! C’mohohon mahahan!” Dipper switched to covering his now burning face. Tyrone took this opportunity to sneak his fingers up under Dipper’s arms.
“I don’t think we’d mind that much though if she did.” Tyrone smugly chuckled.
Dipper screamed before falling into loud cackles. Thankfully the music from the party was loud too. God forbid someone, *cough cough* Wendy, were to hear him having a tickle fight with himself.
“AHAHAHAHA! STAHAHAHA! NOHOHAHAHA!” Dipper thrashed back and forth. Anything to get away from Tyrone’s tickling hands. Unfortunately for him, he only succeeded in trapping Tyrone’s fingers under his arms.
“Oho my gohosh! Is that how loud we get when we laugh?” Tyrone giggled along. Tyrone went to adjust the way he was sitting when Dipper saw an opportunity. He reached his arms out despite the ticklish feeling and latched onto Tyrone’s leg and tickled. More specifically, he scribbled at that dreaded spot behind their knees.
“AHAHAHAHA! STAHAHAP!” Tyrone yanked on his leg, fingers still tickling away under Dipper’s arms.
“YOUHUHU FIHIHIRST! GAHAHAHAHA!” Dipper shrieked. His arms still hugging his sides as much as they could as he continued to tickle Tyrone.
The pair’s laughter filled the woods for minutes on end. Soon the two eventually gave up at the same time, falling back against the roof.
They both took in deep breaths, bodies tingling. As they stared at the stars, they tried not to think too much about the fact that they had just had a tickle fight with themselves. But honestly, it was kinda fun. And both knew it. All in all, a very… interesting night.
~
Bonus Part: 🌲
Dipper’s 3 and 4 found their way back to the Mystery Shack and happened to witness the end of… a tickle fight? They both gasped and blushed like Dipper and Tyrone had earlier.
“I had no idea we could tickle ourselves. Or that we as clones could even be ticklish.” 3 said, unable to look away from the giggling pair. 4 smirked and glanced sideways at 3.
He quickly gave him a scribble to the side and couldn’t help the smile that formed on his face when 3 squealed and slapped his hands over his mouth.
“Hehey!” 3 reached over trying to do the same to 4. 4 swerved out of his reach and latched onto 3’s sides giving him some ticklish squeezes before running to the woods behind them.
“Gehet bahack here!” 3 yelled to 4. The two’s giggling eventually fading into the distance of the woods of Gravity Falls.

My Top 10 Favorite Old Hollywood Actors
(in no particular order)
WILLIAM HOLDEN

Bill Holden was my very first old hollywood obsession. After seeing him for the first time in Sabrina I absolutely fell in love with him. Stalag 17 is quite possibly my favorite movie of all time and Sunset Boulevard is always a classic. Although Picnic is not a great movie I am absolutely obsessed with the dance scene, I think it’s the most gorgeous piece of cinematography I’ve ever seen. Also peep my favorite outfit of his in this photo (excluding shirtless pics)
ROBERT MITCHUM

Night of the Hunter is such a good movie, if you follow me you’ve certainly seen me post about it before. Y’all… something about this man. At first I thought I was just attracted to how bat shit his character is but then watching Holiday Affair this year where he’s an absolute aloof cutie, I realized it truly is just him.
PAUL MUNI

He’s such a little guy. He’s so cute. I first saw him in Angel on my Shoulder and am obsessed with that movie. I recently watched I Am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang and it was phenomenal but most importantly he was so little and scrungly in it. something about this little guy just lights my face up seeing him on screen, he does such a good job.
ROCK HUDSON

Here’s the thing, I’d feel weird about being this attracted to a gay man but I’ve been attracted to many a straight women before so I can’t even find it in me to feel bad. Rock Hudson is not only insanely talented and gorgeous but I’ve read his biography and his entire story is just so fascinating. I’ve seen so so so so many of his films, Giant is one of my favorites of all time (his chemistry with his dear friend Liz Taylor is simply fantastic) as well as All That Heaven Allows and of course Pillow Talk with…
DORIS DAY

Another cold take i’m afraid since it’s hard not to love some of the more well known stars, they’re well known for a reason! Doris Day is everything. Her smile is so gorgeous and she’s such a talent. Her in her early years is absolutely captivating but something about her later films in the 60s has me absolutely hooked. Bonus points for Calamity Jane being absurdly gay, she plays butch too well.
TYRONE POWER

This man was so attractive, even he hated how pretty he was. He resented always being cast in pretty boy roles instead of serious roles where he got to actually showcase his talented acting. Because of this, he apparently absolutely loved when he grew to look older (and allegedly less appealing. allegedly.) because it really opened him up to roles like that in Witness for the Prosecution. If you haven’t seen the original Nightmare Alley, I would check it out, I highly recommend and it was a hell of a passion project for him.
GENE KELLY

Who doesn’t love this guy? All the dance moves, all the charm, and an absolutely unreal shitter. Seriously look me in the eye and tell me you’ve seen a better ass than Gene Kelly’s. I’m not sure there’s much else to say that hasn’t already been said about him. Anyways that one scene in The Pirate where he tucks the cigarette in his lip, kisses the girl, then pulls it back out and puffs… wow. No thoughts head empty. Actually basing my next dnd character on Serafin.
VERA ELLEN

Ever since the first time I watched White Christmas I wanted to be Vera Ellen SO bad. She’s adorable, she’s an insanely talented dancer, and her outfits make me go absolutely crazy i’m so in love with every thing she’s ever worn. I remember watching On The Town after and screaming when I realized it was her.
CARY GRANT

Yes yes, I know this is full of cold takes but he truly is the actor of all time. Who cannot love this man? Like Doris Day I’ve sorta separated his films into younger and older Cary Grant, and similarly I must say older Cary Grant just has me down bad in a different kind of way. Anyways my favorites are probably Notorious and of course Charade which is the most hitchcock movie that hitchcock has never written.
RICOU BROWNING
Of course this little rascal is gonna make my list. It’s no secret that I’m absolutely obsessed with him and his role in Creature from the Black Lagoon. His life story is amazing and the fact he was so young while filming is mind boggling. Please please PLEASE do yourself a favor and just read through his life story real quick on wikipedia or something this guy is so fascinating. I just got a phone case with a collage of him on it. What a talented little fella.

i'd be interested in your recent movie list - it's nice to hear what people are watching 🥰
OOOHHH thank you for asking!!! This gives me the perfect excuse 2 talk abt some of my favs ty hehe <3 The genres, years, countries, etc. might be wildly different and there’s no particular order to what I’m gonna list but here we go:
1. The Spook Who Sat by the Door
Ivan Dixon; action/political drama; America; 1973
EVERYONE needs to watch this honestly… it’s probably my favorite film I’ve seen this year. The movie’s about the first Black man, Dan Freeman, to be trained by the CIA, who then quits and takes the techniques he’s learned to create a team of Black youths to fight for freedom and against racism. Even though it’s a fictional plot, the real FBI pulled it from theaters for being too radical, and it has indeed been described as “the only true Black radical movie ever made.” I seriously can’t recommend it enough
2. Medicine for Melancholy
Barry Jenkins; romance/drama; America; 2008
If you’re familiar with Moonlight, you already know this filmmaker. Medicine for Melancholy is Barry Jenkins’ first film, about the romance between Jo and Micah after a one night stand that takes place in San Francisco. Some things I like about it are the ways the city and its racial issues so heavily influence the characters’ relationship so much so that it essentially becomes a character in itself. Since this is Jenkins’ first film, the budget was smaller ($15k) and it has a different feel from his newer movies which I personally really liked
3. They Cloned Tyrone
Juel Taylor; sci-fi/mystery; America; 2023
This movie was released on barbenheimer day and was WAY BETTER THAN BOTH OF THEM!!!! When Fontaine, a drug dealer played by John Boyega, seemingly gets shot and killed, Slick, a pimp, is shocked to see him walking around the next day as if nothing happened. Together, Slick, Fontaine, and Yo-Yo, a sex worker, work to uncover what actually happened and find that it’s much bigger than they could’ve imagined. This is a FANTASTIC sci-fi film with some fantastic writing (a lot of great one-liners lmao) and all the actors do amazingly. Also, the title goes hard!
4. Bad Genius
Baz Nattuwat; thriller; Thailand; 2017
I literally watched this last night (happy birthday Nonkul!) lol. In this movie the character Lynn gets paid to work with her friends to help other high school students cheat on tests. When I tell you this had me SWEATING from stress. It was very entertaining, I really liked the way it was shot and how it consistently kept the tension up
5. Do the Right Thing
Spike Lee; drama/comedy; America; 1989
Taking place on an unbearably hot summer day, racial tensions rise between the Black civilians and the Italian owners of a pizzeria in Brooklyn. This is a v famous movie, directed by Spike Lee, and honestly many of the themes still ring true today
6. Sorry to Bother You
Boots Riley; sci-fi/comedy; America; 2018
Set in the Oakland, Cassius Green becomes a telemarketer and uses a “white voice” to do better at his job. But when his coworkers form a union, he decides to take a promotion instead, leading to unexpected consequences. I don’t want to spoil anything, and this is another famous movie that many people have probably already seen and have probably been spoiled BUT. there is a crazy twist. I really enjoyed the messages and craziness this movie had to offer
7. Marry My Dead Body
Cheng Wei Hao; comedy/mystery; Taiwan; 2022
I saw this with my friend on my birthday and honestly it could not have been a better way to watch it. A homophobic cop accidentally gets into an arranged marriage with a dead gay ghost. Is that not one of the best plot descriptions u have ever heard. It’s horror, it’s comedy, it’s gay, it’s a romance (TO ME! And like everyone else who watched it)… WHAT MORE COULD U WANT!! It gave me a similar feeling as Secrets in the Hot Spring & Pee Mak, two movies that somehow seem to cover So Many Genres & that I love sooo much (the former is my fav movie ever). I literally laughed so hard I almost peed myself at times <3
Other than that some other movies I watched & enjoyed this year are: Love Lies Bleeding (2024), Claudine (1974), Eve’s Bayou (1997), and Bottoms (2023). I don’t wanna make this too long so I’ll stop it here but I hope you enjoy these films too if you decide to watch any!!
#aaaahhhh sorry this took a hot min to post I wanted to give good descriptions (I hope they’re good lol)#also I kno I said there’s no order but the spook who sat by the door & marry my dead body are my top two!#I REALLY recommend the spook considering it’s an older movie and more people should know about it!#the spook who sat by the door#medicine for melancholy#they cloned tyrone#bad genius#do the right thing#sorry to bother you#marry my dead body#ask#b.txt
