The crossbody bag has firmly established itself as a fashion essential, seamlessly merging style and convenience. In this article, we'll delve into the world of crossbody bags, exploring their versatility, iconic designs, and how to make them a statement piece in your wardrobe.
Tumblr media
The Versatility of Crossbody Bags
Hands-Free Convenience - One of the standout features of a crossbody bag is its hands-free design. The adjustable strap allows you to wear it across your body, distributing the weight evenly. This feature is a game-changer, especially when you're on the move, running errands, or traveling.
Perfect for Every Occasion - Crossbody bags come in various sizes and styles, making them suitable for a wide range of occasions. From compact and minimalist designs for a casual day out to elegant and embellished options for formal events, there's a crossbody bag for every outfit and mood.
Iconic Designs
The Classic Messenger Bag - The messenger bag, with its rectangular shape and flap closure, is the quintessential crossbody bag design. Originally favored by couriers and messengers, it has evolved into a timeless fashion piece that complements both casual and professional looks.
Boho Chic with the Saddle Bag - Saddlebags are characterized by their curved shape and often feature rustic details. They are perfect for adding a touch of bohemian flair to your ensemble, making them a favorite among free spirits and fashion-forward individuals.
The Mini Crossbody - For those who prefer a minimalist approach, mini crossbody bags offer style in a compact package. These tiny yet trendy accessories are perfect for carrying just the essentials and add a playful touch to any outfit.
Styling Tips
Casual Charm - Pair your crossbody bag with a relaxed outfit, like jeans and a cozy sweater. Opt for earthy tones or vibrant colors, depending on your mood. This effortless combination exudes casual charm.
Office Elegance - Upgrade your work attire by choosing a sleek leather crossbody bag. It adds a touch of professionalism while keeping your essentials within easy reach.
Evening Glamour - Transform your look for a night out by selecting a crossbody bag with metallic accents or intricate embellishments. It's the ideal accessory for carrying your essentials while dancing the night away.
Caring for Your Crossbody Bag
Regular Maintenance - To keep your crossbody bag looking its best, practice regular maintenance. Wipe down leather bags with a damp cloth and use a leather conditioner to prevent drying and cracking. For fabric bags, spot-clean them to remove stains and maintain their pristine appearance.
Rotate Your Collection - If you're an avid crossbody bag enthusiast, consider rotating your collection. This not only extends the lifespan of your bags but also allows you to showcase a variety of styles throughout the year.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the crossbody bag is more than just an accessory; it's a fashion statement and a practical companion for your daily adventures. Its versatility, iconic designs, and styling options make it an essential piece in any wardrobe. Mastering Style and Function: A Guide to Wearing a Messenger Bag with Panache
Tumblr media
In the realm of fashion and functionality, few accessories strike the perfect balance quite like the messenger bag. But while its practicality is undeniable, mastering the art of wearing a leather messenger bag with style requires a touch of finesse. Fear not, for we're here to guide you through the ins and outs of rocking this iconic accessory like a true fashionista or fashionisto.
Embrace the Cross-Body Chic
The quintessential way to wear a messenger bag is across the body, with the strap slung diagonally from one shoulder to the opposite hip. This not only distributes weight evenly but also adds a dash of urban-cool to your ensemble. Adjust the strap to ensure the bag sits comfortably at your hip, allowing easy access to your belongings without compromising on style.
Mix and Match Materials
When it comes to leather messenger bags, variety is the spice of life. Experiment with different materials and textures to elevate your look and add visual interest. Classic canvas exudes a casual vibe perfect for everyday wear, while leather lends a touch of sophistication that effortlessly transitions from day to night.
Size Matters
Consider the size of your mens leather messenger bag in relation to your body and the occasion. Opt for a larger bag with ample storage space for daily essentials like laptops, tablets, and notebooks, ideal for work or school. For a more streamlined look, choose a smaller bag that holds just the essentials for a night out or weekend adventure.
Coordinate with Your Outfit
Coordinate your leather messenger bag for men with your outfit to create a cohesive and polished look. For a casual daytime ensemble, pair a canvas messenger bag with jeans and a T-shirt for laid-back charm. Elevate your office attire with a sleek leather computer bag that complements your professional style. Don't be afraid to play with colors and patterns to add personality to your outfit.
Experiment with Styling
Get creative with how you wear your brown leather crossbody bag to suit your personal style and mood. Wear it messenger-style across the body for a classic look, or sling it over one shoulder for a more relaxed vibe. For a fashion-forward twist, try wearing it on the back like a backpack or carry it by the top handle for a chic handbag alternative.
Own Your Look with Confidence
Above all, wear your leather shoulder bag with confidence and swagger. No matter how stylish your outfit or accessory may be, confidence is the key to pulling off any look with panache. Rock your leather laptop bag with pride, and let your individuality shine through.

The Dragon's Savior — Malleus Draconia x gn! reader
Tumblr media
summery: you were tasked with slaying the dragon...so how did you end up living with the fae prince?
tw: death (?), idk (if I miss something tell me)
a/n: I'm so tired and I wanted this to be done, so sorry if the ending is a bit rushed.
wc: 3.9k
Master List
Tumblr media
The dungeon was dimly lit, dank, and eerily silent. You were unsure how the torches were alight as this dungeon had been long abandoned. A plume of green flames in the distance seemed to answer your curiosity. You had been ordered by the high king to slay the beast. You were no knight or hero, but it seems like they were running out of men to send. Honestly, you didn’t want to do this. Everyone who’d entered this place hadn’t been seen again, and you didn’t want to become another victim of the scaly beast, yet it was either death by dragon or locked in prison for life. You’d take your chances with the chained creature.
You weren’t sure how such a creature was chained down. As you continued on, you wondered why they only locked it up instead of killing it. As you continued through the giant halls, you paused at the entrance of a giant room. Large pillars rose on both sides, the room empty except for the metal of armor and bones that littered the floor…well, there are the previous knights and heroes that had their try at the dragon. Unlike them, you stood in just your tunic, a small sword and a satchel of miscellaneous items you brought just in case. As your eyes roamed the cavernous room, they landed on ink black scales, green slitted eyes narrowed on your figure.
As you stood there, staring at the beast as it snarled at you, you felt your heart twist and break. You had never seen anything so beautiful before. A muzzle laid hazardously over its snout. The metal of the muzzle twisted and singed, the leather straps frayed if not completely snapped. You could hardly call it a muzzle as it rested above its snout, not covering its snarling mouth in the slightest. Perhaps whomever put this creature here planned for it to starve? Then your eyes landed on the chains that were clasped around its four limbs, a shiny silvery color, glittering gallantly under the green puffs that threatened past the dragon's lips. You were surprised it hadn’t killed you already, the two of you watching the other cautiously.
Rage had started to consume you. It reminded you of a dog that had been abused and was going to be put down. A cornered animal that was merely trying to keep itself alive against whatever threatened it. Such a beautiful creature, whether it was a danger to people or not, had no right to be treated so inhumanely. You’ve only read old tales of dragons, they had nearly been wiped out, and the ones left remaining were in hiding. Apparently they lived for hundreds, if not thousands of years, and you wondered what all the dragons in front of you had witnessed. How long was its life spent in a cage, hunted and threatened? The dragon was clearly here first, humans had no right to put them on a leash.
Slowly, you lowered your sword to the ground, “Hello.” It’s ear twitched, eyes never leaving your form. It let out a huff and you took that as your cue to continue. Telling the creature your name, you felt a little silly, but it seemed to comprehend what you were saying, “I was sent here to kill you.” Maybe you shouldn’t have started with that as the being snarled, the frills on the side of its head standing. “W-wait, sorry, I just want you to know I’m not going to do that!” Its eyes narrowed, not seeming to trust you. Perhaps someone’s done this before, but tried to kill it when they got close enough.
“I swear!” You exclaimed. “Here, I’ll kick the sword out of the room so I’m harmless.” When you did what you said, the dragon slumped down once more. It felt unnerving, having such a scary beast watch you so intensely, but you decided to continue on, even if you ended up becoming the beast's next snack. “Can I take your muzzle off?” You hoped that would show your intentions were pure, that you’d put your trust in the beast’s claws so it would let you help it. If you were going to jail for life for failing to kill it, you might as well let it free, no? You fidgeted as it watched you for a few seconds, seeming to contemplate your offer. You never realized how smart dragons were, it was almost like it wasn’t just a beast.
You jumped as the dragon set its head on the stoney ground and let out a small huff. Hesitating, you asked if that was it agreeing, in which it nodded. Taking in a deep breath, you felt yourself shake with each step you took. It really set in just how big the creature was when you finally were face to face. With its head fully on the ground, the top of its head (excluding its horns) reached up to your thighs. You stated your next move before you did anything, not wanting to startle it. Gently, you managed to remove the muzzle although it took a bit of work with the frayed edges. Out of nowhere, the dragon hit the piece of metal, quickly tossing the offending mouthpiece out of the room with a growl. The quick movements caused you to jump back, lifting your arms in a weak defense. When its mini tantrum was over, it let out a low grumble at you, its head once again resting on the ground. Blinking owlishly, you realized it was trying to calm you, almost looking sorry for its previous actions.
“I…I can try to get y-your chains off,” You mumbled, trying to calm your shaking limbs. Its head tilted, so you explained, “I-I don’t have a key or anything, but I brought my lockpicking set. I’m pretty good at it, so I can try to remove your chains…”
With its huff of approval, you dug through your satchel, taking out your lockpicking set. Kneeling down in front of one of its powerful front arms, you took in the type of lock and what best to use. Expertly, you stuck in two picks, slowly moving your tools until you heard the soft clicks. After a few minutes of trial and error, you managed to get the lock to open, and you gently tugged the metal off its wrist. To your horror, its scales seemed to have rubbed off, its skin a bright red. You felt yourself fret, now searching for anything you may have brought that can ease pain. What lowly, disgusting people to harm such a creature. Your scowl diminished when the dragon lightly nuzzled you with its nose, its eyes brightening slightly, then it motioned to its other wrist. Against your wishes, you ignored the chafed wrists of the being, focusing on lock picking the three remaining chains instead.
When you finished, you weren’t sure what to expect. You hoped you had proven yourself worthy to the dragon, that you were worth to be left alive. Though, you wouldn’t blame it if it swallowed you whole, as it probably hasn’t had anything to eat in a while. To your shock, the dragon laid flat, fluttering its wings lightly. It stared at you expectantly, its head motioning to its back. Wait…it wanted you to ride it? You saw your life spiraling before your eyes…perhaps it was the moment it was declared you were to kill the beast. Between going to jail for life or…being a dragon's friend (?) you decided the latter wouldn’t be too bad. So you carefully climbed onto its back. You felt like you were on top of the world as it walked through the dungeon. As it climbed up the steps, you realized this dungeon must’ve been made specifically for dragons as everything was to scale for the giant beast.
The bright sun shone on you both, the inky black scales turning an iridescent purple, its green eyes glittering. Your heart swelled at the sight, if you thought it was beautiful before, it is absolutely stunning now. You were quickly snapped out of your reverie when it snapped its wings, lifting off the ground with a gust. Trembling once more, you wrapped yourself around the dragon to your best ability to keep yourself from falling to your doom. You weren't sure how long the flight was as you kept your face in its neck, only glancing out every now and then. Your surroundings grew darker as clouds filled the sky, looking out, you noticed a castle that was surrounded by thorny vines. You blinked as that seemed to be your destination. The castle looked abandoned…and you suppose it was since the dragon was held prisoner. The place looked uninviting. Your dragon friend landed gently on the land in front of the castle, and you slid off slowly. Your legs shook, unused to riding any type of mount, but it didn’t seem to mind you holding onto it for stability. The stone bridge that led to the castle was completely covered in the thorny vines, the stones crumbling slightly. It seems the only way in or out was to fly.
Once you trusted yourself to walk, the dragon led you into the castle. The dark bricks that built the castle made the space feel small even though it was grand, the silence felt unsettling and you felt a shiver run up your spine at the chill that filled the space. Even for how old the place seemed to be, it was still mainly all intact. Some debris here or there, but the stairs you passed seemed safe to climb and the walls weren’t crumbling. The dragon stopped in what seemed to be a throne room, two empty chairs sat up ahead, dust collecting over the room. Sitting, the dragon faced you, its eyes blinking at you like a lost puppy. If anything, you were the lost puppy here.
Before you could speak up and question what the course of action was now, a figure appeared out of seemingly nowhere. He looked human, but some of his features were warped. Pointed ears, slitted eyes, fangs. You felt your heart jump when you realized he was a fae, a being that was thought to be wiped out, the only proof of their existence being dilapidated buildings (that were slowly being taken over by humans) and mentions in history books of the great fae war. You coward next to your dragon friend, watching as the fae knelt to the ground, his next words shaking your entire being.
“Prince Draconia, it’s good to see you back.”
Prince? Prince of…the fae? You…what have you got yourself into? The surname Draconia has been drilled into your head when you read history books. The terrible Fae War that was meant to save humanity. To fight against the Draconia lineage and get rid of fae once and for all. Apparently the books had missed one important issue. And now you were in the dragon's den, literally and figuratively.
“It seems like you’ve brought a friend,” The fae continued, crimson eyes falling onto your figure.
The dragon beside you shifted, his form turning more human in nature. He could’ve fooled you if it weren’t for the horns that sat on top of his head or the green slitted eyes that seemed to stare through you.
“This child of man broke me free from the prison they held me in,” Draconia explained, his bright eyes softening when they landed on you. “A truly strange individual indeed.”
“Should I prepare a room?” The fae responded, his smile seemed more mischievous than anything.
“Yes,” Draconia nodded calmly while you felt like you were going to explode. This was all happening too fast. You thought you were going to be eaten by a dragon for Pete’s sake! Not end up saving a prince that humans wanted dead and end up as a guest in his palace! Although you felt like a whirlwind was storming through your mind, you were too meek to speak up, left to watch the events unfold before you.
“I shall inform the servants of your return then, my liege,” The fae nodded. “Silver and Sebek shall be here shortly.”
Then in a poof, the fae disappeared. You turned to Draconia, unsure what to do or say. You were a mere peasant. A pickpocket, a lockpicker. You were not prepared for such a situation as you found yourself in.
“Thank you, dear child of man,” The fae prince bowed his head towards you. “If not for your kindness and bravery, I would not be here for my people. In return, you will be granted whatever your heart desires.” Once again, you found yourself blinking owlishly, and saying the first thing that came to mind.
“That’s a dangerous offer.”
Stupid. Why the hell would you say that? Now he’s going to think you’re a threat and-
Is he…chuckling? Why was his voice so smooth? What the hell is going on? You needed some time to yourself to clear your thoughts.
“Perhaps it is,” Draconia nodded, a fond smile resting on his lips (his fangs made it look a bit sinister but you could tell he wasn’t trying to be intimidating). “But I have trust in someone who was selfless enough to save not only a prisoner, but a dragon.”
You bit your lip nervously, unsure of what to ask for, “That’s a lot of trust for someone you don’t know.”
“Hmm,” He hummed, his amusement shining through his eyes. “Then perhaps we should get to know each other better.”
Damn he was smooth.
You found yourself not so easily forgetting about your past. The life on the streets, swiping food when you could, stealing others hard earned money. You weren’t proud, in fact, it was always like a cloud hung over your head. You could never keep a job, not that they paid well. And when you got the notice from the high king to slay a dragon you knew it was karma for living a dastardly life.
But now you found yourself living in luxury, something you found hard getting used to. A bed bigger than you’ve ever seen, sheets so silky you felt like you were sliding around, meals so extravagant your stomach hurt just looking at it. Not to mention the handsome prince who’d watch you like you’ve hung the stars.
It all felt wrong. Like you were an imposter. You have hurt people. It didn’t matter if you felt guilty because innocent people still dealt with the consequences of your thievery. How many went hungry because they ‘lost’ their coins? How many only broke even because you got your hands on their food without them noticing? You didn’t deserve the royal treatment you were currently receiving. Especially when your original goal wasn’t to save any prince or prisoner. You were sent there to kill a beast, and you merely found yourself empathizing with it. It was like stumbling upon a poor rabbit stuck in a trap, it would feel wrong to let it struggle until it died.
You felt sick as beautiful fabric draped over you, tailored to fit your every curve to the t. Jewelry covering any spots that may show skin. You weren’t stupid, you saw the way the servants would gaze at you coldly, the whispers that they carefully covered as small talk. Not only were you terrible to humans, but you were also a human. To fae that was the harbinger of doom. Apart of a people who attacked the fae for merely being different. Yes, fae were more powerful, but they kept to themselves.
You were practically drowning in riches, and you could only think about the people who could use it more than you. Sure you’ve had your fair share of going to bed hungry, sleeping outside and being dirty more than you’d like to think, but you weren’t the only one. Perhaps you weren’t as built for living rich like you thought you were, you couldn’t help but muse. Oh how naive you were when you dreamt of riches beyond your imagination.
Malleus observed your downtrodden state. How reluctant you were during meals, or how you looked at the jewelry adorning your body with so much disdain he could nearly feel it. You had managed to worm your way into his heart. Like in those human tales of the knight rescuing the royal, he found himself falling for his savior. Not because you were tasked to save him, or that you could’ve killed him but didn’t (it was clear the power imbalance between you both). It was because you saw him, in his full powerfully dangerous glory, and instead of choosing to kill, you chose to help. Something he hadn’t seen in any human before (not that he’s met many).  You continued to surprise him. You were clearly not from noble descent. Your ragged tunic and chipped sword were clear indicators of that when you both met. Not to mention how you seemed so afraid to touch anything, even after he stated you could have what you want, you were still considerate of him and his property. Instead of asking for riches or gems, you seemed lost. Unsure of what you may desire. During your stay, your personality truly shined. You were naturally polite, treating the servants and knights like they were people instead of objects (something even most nobles failed at). So when your curious shining gaze turned into one of guilt, Malleus couldn’t just do nothing.
It was a gloomy afternoon. Briar Valley wasn’t the sunniest of places, you had learned. Malleus had invited you to have some tea in the palace garden, and who were you to deny him? You both sipped at your tea in a pleasant silence.
“How has your stay been?” Malleus was the first to break the silence. His bright green eyes watching you intently.
“More than I could ask for,” You replied, gaze falling onto your teacup.
“...and that is a bad thing?” He read you perfectly.
“I…I just don’t feel like, like I deserve any of this,” You muttered. “I’m not a good person. Not in the eyes of my people or yours.”
“So that’s the problem,” Malleus hummed. His features softened, but determination shone clearly in his eyes. “I promise you that you are not as bad as you view yourself, child of man. You have been nothing but lovely since the day I met you. Your heart is truly bigger than most, you’re intelligent, and you’re strong. I couldn’t think of a better person to spoil.”
“I think you have a bias,” You grumbled, trying to recover from how easy it was for him to fluster you.
“I think you have one as well, dear child of man,” Malleus chuckled.
You felt yourself slowly warm to your new life. Looked forward to seeing Malleus in the morning, seeing him off to his princely duties (as well as bidding farewell to Lilia). Although Silver and Sebek were Malleus’ retainers, he had ordered them to watch over you. At first it was daunting, but Silver was a sweetheart, and you slowly learned that Sebek didn’t actually hate you (hopefully), he was just very invested in Malleus’ wellbeing.
Over time, you found yourself wanting one thing. One thing that seemed impossible for Malleus to grant. You wanted to stay. Not just as some random human who saved the fae prince, but as a part of the weird family that they seemed to shape. You hadn’t felt so happy in a long, long time. You couldn’t recall the last time you had no worries, felt relaxed, found someone so comforting. And as you sat at the dining room table, pushing around your food, Lilia decided to point out the very thing you’ve been avoiding.
“So,” The pink and black haired fae said your name mischievously. “Have you thought of what you desire from Prince Draconia?” This question caught the attention of said prince, his gaze steady like he was pinning you down.
“Not really,” You smiled, waving off the question.
“Really?” Lilia asked with a fake pout. “‘Cus I’m pretty sure you thought of something quite specific.”
You tensed, shoulders raising, could he read minds? Was that even possible? Is he bluffing? Did your body language give you away?
“Did you have something in mind, child of man?” Malleus joined in. When you glanced at him, you noticed how he seemed a bit deflated.
“W-well…I have…” You stumbled. “I don’t…I don’t think it’s something you can grant…”
“You won’t know if you don’t ask~” Lilia chirped with a wink. “Malleus can grant more than you could imagine.”
“Lilia is right,” Malleus agreed. “There is little I won’t give you.” Your heart raced at his deeply sincere vow. You kept yelling in your mind that he didn’t mean it romantically.
Biting your lip, you decided to spill your wish, “I want to stay here…with you all…”
“Is that all?” Malleus asked, a bright grin tugging at his lips (it would be quite off putting as he always seemed so stoic, but you were too lovesick to think such a thought). “I would be delighted to host you here for as long as you wish.”
“Really?” You couldn’t help but ask. “Won’t that be weird? I’m no noble, or royal, or related to anyone here.”
“If that is a problem for you, there is a way to solve such a problem,” Malleus declared.
“Khehe~” Lilia giggled. “It seems we’ll have some planning to do.”
You stared at the two confused, and they refused to elaborate.
“Thank you,” You spoke up one evening as you stared at the roses that littered the garden. Malleus stood by your side, watching you lovingly. “For everything. You’ve done so much for me I can’t even explain it all.”
“I must thank you as well, child of man,” He replied in kind. “You have also shaped my future to be significantly brighter.”
“I suppose being freed from prison does that,” You teased, but Malleus didn’t smile nor did he laugh.
“You’ve done much more for me than merely unbuckling chains,” Malleus stated, gaze intense with an emotion you couldn’t put a finger on. “You have also unburdened my heart from its lonely cage, each day is brighter with your smile, with your love, with your kindness. I wish for you to stay by my side for as long as you’ll have me.”
You hadn’t expected your small gratitude to be taken to such an extent. You felt your heart flutter and your knees get weak. Just what was he leading up to? There was only one end in sight and you weren’t sure if you were ready for such a proposal.
“Would you do me the honor of ruling Briar Valley by my side?”
“M-mal…” Your voice trembled. You stared at him wide eyed, all the ways this could go wrong running through your head. “B-but I’m human…”
“Such trivial things do not matter to me.”
“But your people!” You exclaimed. “Th-they’ll riot!”
“My people trust in my judgment,” He muttered. “Besides, isn’t this like your human tales? The knight marries the royal and they live happily ever after?”
Malleus was right. You were truly living in your own fairytale. Sure, it was a bit backwards, but as you stared into his bright green eyes, you knew you wouldn’t have it any other way. After all, what knight wouldn’t choose the dragon?

Plot: It’s a rainy night and blood runs down the muddy streets of the town. Three supernatural beings, a witch, a werewolf and a vampire, find shelter in a disreputable Inn that attracts the wrong sort of people. All of them are on a run, secrets and horrific murders staining their reputations and making them quite notorious downtown. When the three of them end up forming an alliance, they realize something links them together. The thirst for blood, the gloomy atmosphere and the inhebriation leads them to give in to lust in a room upstairs.

The croaky laughter of a drunk man slamming his fist onto the ebony table of the bar made you flinch. You were soaked, a puddle of water expanding from underneath your boots as you scrutinized the crowd of people dining all around you. Most of them were humans, without the shadow of a doubt. Men, to be specific. Predatory eyes sizing you up, offensive words piercing your ears, you knew exactly what they were thinking. A young, beautiful woman shaking like a leaf and looking for shelter was probably an easy prey for them. Unfortunately for them, you were not a hapless girl. Clamping your mouth shut not to draw attention, you resorted to lowering the tattered hood of your cape down on your face and you walked up to the innkeeper to ask for a table and a room for the night.
“That’s the last one. You’re lucky” the lanky man on the other side of the counter told you, handing you a rusty key and motioning with his chin at the last empty table somewhere behind your back.
You followed his gaze, eyes landing on a dimly illuminated area of the dining space. In a corner, a chair and a dusty table, waiting for you to sit at. You scrunched up your nose in disgust, already figuring the bedroom would have most likely been even worse than the chilling refreshment stand you were going to drink at. However, it was not time for you to be fussy and picky about where you had to spend the night. The guards outside were tracking you down and leaving this place would have only granted you the chance to experiment the same fate of your late mentor, the great witch Unohana Retsu. You had really screwed up this time, but the heavy money satchel hanging on the leather belt secured around your waist was definitely worthy the murder of Lord Jugram Haschwalth.
Your head turned back towards the grey-haired man, bony fingers tapping onto the wooden desk impatiently “It’s perfect. — you faked a smile — A bottle of wine too, please” you told him, before grasping your satchel and drawing out some money to cover up the price of the rent and your order.
Paying you little to no attention, he whistled loud enough for some tipsy men to complain about being brutally awakened from their slumber, but also to draw the attention of a beautiful waitress serving soups and beers at the tables. You wondered how such a pretty girl had ended up in a squalid barrelhouse like that. The gold band on her ring finger answered your question, as she cleaned her hands quickly in her lilac apron and jogged back to the counter with a kind smile adorning her plumped lips.
“Gin, honey, what’s the matter?” she inquired, sparing you a brief glance before refocusing on her husband.
Now that she was closer to you, the waves of magic radiating from her made you feel less in danger. Witches were not welcomed in the small town you lived in. Knowing the innkeeper’s wife was a supernatural being too made you feel more at ease, as if you were at home, safe from stakes and fire. Nevertheless, you never let your guard down, not after you had witnessed to Unohana’s ashes blowing in the wind, dissolved in the village square, a couple of years ago. Isane, your friend and the other apprentice your mentor had taken in, had fled right away in search for protection in one of the towns in the North of the Country. You had no idea if she was still alive, or if she had shared your teacher’s destiny. Hopefully, she had joined a powerful coven and she did not have to fight for her life anymore like you did.
Sometimes, you asked yourself why you did not follow her in her incredible adventure. The answer, sadly, was that you loved that place too much to move away and forget about your past. Also, you were seeking revenge. The Mayor, that old bastard, Lord Yamamoto Genryūsai, was still alive. You were working day and night to create a deadly potion to kill him once and for all. In order to get close to him, though, you needed connections and, regrettably, you were a lone wolf.
Gin grinned “Sorry, darlin’, but this girl here needs a bottle of wine. Be a dear and accompany her to her table with this” he explained, ducking underneath the counter to grasp a cheap bottle of red wine and a globlet. Drowning your demons sounded good enough, given your foul mood.
The curvaceous woman sighed and ruffled his hair affectionately “I got it from here. Take care of the rest while I’m busy, will you?” she cooed, winking at her husband before gesturing for you to follow her to your destination without further ado. You caught a glimpse of the man smirking, as you moved away from the counter, noting how pleased he seemed to be for the attention his companion had reserved to him.
The dirty comments the waitress and you received on the short walk to the table made your stomach churn and you had to suppress the homicidal impulse to set those swines on fire right on the spot. You really did not need cops to break in and arrest you. Not when your face was already printed onto numerous newspapers and you had an impressive bunty on your head. People chased you down the streets to turn you in and alert the authorities.
Tiredly, you slumped down onto the chair, chin propped onto the upturned palm of your hand, whilst you absent-mindedly observed the girl uncorking the bottle with expertise. For a few moments, she stayed silent, limiting herself to pour some wine into the goblet and sliding it towards you once it was filled to the brim “Here you go” she stated then, eyeing you from behind her long and dark eyelashes. She was most likely a charmer, the dangerous kind of witch that could bring a man to madness.
“Thanks” you shortly replied, only for her to glance behind her shoulder briefly, checking the area, and lean closer to you afterwards, her tone of voice low enough not to be heard from anyone else besides you.
Her light blue eyes locked with yours “No one is going to harm you, but two of our guests are affiliated to the Government. — she informed you, shooting a subtle look at a purple-haired woman, sitting by the window, clinking glasses with her colleague — You may think she is our ally, considering her condition. It turns out she has a secret agreement with the Mayor to grant her immunity from prosecution”.
You took a sip of your wine, narrowing your eyes in disgust at the unexpected news about the famous Yoruichi Shihoin switching sides to save her own neck. Becoming one of the Hunters was not a career you had ever considered in whole life. The last person you could imagine to betray the Supernatural Community for a personal advantage was Yoruichi. She was a wild spirit, a force of the nature. Clearly, something had changed in her life and, judging by the way the petite girl next to her was now running her fingers through her luscious hair, it was probably the unforgiving feeling of love.
“Who would have ever thought a shapeshifter worked for that shitface. Thanks for the information…” you trailed off then, not knowing how to address the witch saving your life for free.
She smiled softly at you and snapped her fingers to light up a candle she had pulled out from the front pocket of her apron “Rangiku Matsumoto, the one and only. — she introduced herself, positioning the candle into an old candlestick — I would like to chit-chat with a fellow witch a little more, but I really have to go lend my hand to my husband. Enjoy your wine” she excused herself then, waving her hand at you and venturing back into the intricate lines of the tables.
You watched her leave, bringing the goblet to your mouth again, but turning your attention back to the two women looking for the next head to bring to the Mayor on a silver plate. You did not fail to notice the amount of daggers strapped to their belts. At their feet there were bags full of newspapers and you could swear there was even an axe in one of them, but it was too dark for your eyes to make out the real shape of the weapon. It was decidedly better not to go anywhere near that table. You could defend yourself, you were powerful enough to force them to transform, or even cast a curse on them to perpetually turn them into animals. However, you could not assault them out of the blue and this was not a place to fight.
You were genuinely surprised a shady man with unkempt sandy hair and a smug smile on his lips approached them. Yoruichi seemed to know him, her yellowish eyes darting on the stranger immediately, upon sensing his presence at her back. While she began conversing with him, you switched your attention on the raven-haired Huntress at her right, her scowl quite evident as she stared daggers at the newcomer. Well, jealousy could do numbers on people, to the point of even attempting to kill the person who piqued the interest of your loved one.
It did not startle you the way she suddenly leapt forward and knocked him down onto the floor, pressing the sharp edge of her dagger on his carotid. Silence swallowed the room, the moment she straddled him and grasped his jaw roughly in her small hand.
“What part of ‘stay away from her’ you did not comprehend? Do you want me to etch it on your face?” the girl snapped, while Yoruichi disinterestedly finished her drink and slammed the empty glass back onto the table. She did not bother to step in to prevent her colleague to make a scene, or possibly slaughter a man in front of all those witnesses. All she cared about was being the center of the attention, as per usual.
The man sighed, hands raising apologetically to quell his aggressor’s rage “Woah, I got it, Sui-Feng! — he defended himself, his tone playful and strangely calm despite the compromising position he was in — I was just telling her my goodbyes! You know, I’ll leave this town in the morning” he explained, earning a scoff from the woman above him who begrudgingly sheathed the dagger back into its scabbard before jumping back on her feet.
“That’s the fourth time you use this pathetic excuse to approach her. It’s only natural for a merchant to travel. — she retorted, hopping back onto her stool and glancing at the dark sky outside — Too bad it’s not a full Moon night. I’d have loved to skin you alive” she added, a mischivious grin curling her pinkish lips as the man leisurely stood back on his feet and dusted some dirt off of his baggy clothes.
A werewolf? You had not met one in years. After Unohana’s death, Kenpachi Zaraki and his pack had left the town and the only werewolf still around was Muguruma Kensei, the smith who lived in the mountains. Who was this man, then? Why had you not met him before? Did he belong to a pack from another town, or did he get exiled? Whatever was his origin, all you knew was that he had caught you staring and he winked at you with a teasing smirk promising a conversation.
Straightening your back, you whipped your head to the other side of the room and found yourself wishing you could chant your beloved invisibility spell. You really did not wish to catch the attention of anyone in particular. Making bonds could be dangerous and that man radiated troubles.
“Let him go, Sui-Feng. — Yoruichi chimed in, silky voice resonating through the room — Kisuke was about to leave anyway, right?”.
“Of course, I was! You are probably in the middle of the hunt anyway and I should make my getaway before a silver blade takes me to the grave prematurely” you heard him jest, but you were not too happy to hear them share their goodbyes. You had a feeling deep in your guts he was about to head over to your table and you had no intention to die at his place.
Therefore, you stood up and sauntered towards the wooden staircase leading to the rooms upstairs. It was time to go to sleep and lock yourself up, maybe even protecting your door with some defensive spells to keep anyone trying to break him outside. With each step you climbed, you felt safer and, if it was not for a whimper echoing in the corridor at the end of stairs, you would have dared to say nothing threatened your life anymore. That moan, however, was pained one. Someone was hurt and you felt your heart thrumming against your ribcage violently as you wandered down the deserted area, expecting someone to jumpscare you at any moment.
There was an ominous atmosphere around you and it had become notably coldler with every passing second. You reminisced some of your mentor’s teachings about the temperature and atmosphere’s changings. Sudden cold usually was connected to the presence of ghosts, or beings capable of sucking the life out of their victims. In other words: vampires.
You truly wished the monster at the end of the road was not a bloodsucker, but you soon found yourself face to face with one as he dropped the lifeless body of a young woman down onto the floor with a dull thud. Glossy brown eyes staring at you, pale complexion, the corpse belonged, much to your dismay, to the kind nun Momo Hinamori. Too young to die and too devoted to think monsters existed, she had always refused to believe you were a witch. You wondered what she was doing in that Inn and how the dapper man in front of you had lured her into his trap.
He was handsome, this much was undeniable. Then again, she was not the type to melt for small attentions. You wondered what he had done to her, if he had used mind control, or some other devious technique to compel her to follow him so effortlessly.
He stood there, lean frame enveloped by a luxurious black cape as he wiped his mouth clean with a silky white handkerchief. Your presence had not bothered him in the slightest.
“Good evening” he greeted you, velvet voice caressing your skin warmly, a fatherly tone you despised with every molecule of your body. You felt your mouth going dry, your eyes averting from him to spare another glance at the victim at his feet.
You took a sharp intake of breath, your eyes hardening as you reached for the phial of holy water you always kept hanging on your neck and tossed it at him. The man disappeared from your sight, dodging your attempt to make his skin sizzle, and the glass collided onto the wall, exploding into a million splinters before your frightened eyes. Your head frantically whipped around, trying to detect his presence before he could get his hands on you, but the moment you realized he was at your back it was too late for you. Your cheek was pressed against the wall, one hand wrapped around the back of your neck to pin you on the spot.
“How much do you know about vampires, sweetheart?” he asked you, cold breath wafting over your jaw, when he dipped his head down to talk directly next to your ear.
“Enough to desire their extinction” you sassed, furrowing your brows in discomfort as he tightened his grip on your nape. You definitely needed to train in hand-to-hand fights. Against some monsters spells and curses did not suffice. The scar in the middle of your mentor’s chest was your daily reminder of how dangerous it could be losing focus in a duel.
The vampire hummed and magnanimously loosened his grip on you, but he cautiously took a couple of steps back to put a relatively safe distance from his opponent “You must be the witch everyone is talking about. — he noted, chestnut hues scrutinizing your face — The sketch on the leaflets doesn’t do you justice” he smoothly complimented you, causing your cheeks to heat up, but your brain to inform you he was probably trying to get in your mind.
You snorted, arms folding against your chest “Don’t tell me you won her heart with such ridiculous pick-up lines. — you taunted him, eyes darting on the late nun behind you — Now, unless you want us to respectively end up with a stake through the heart and flesh consumed on a burning pyre, what do you say about parting ways and leaving this small altercation behind?” you flatly suggested, eyes flitting back on your interlocutor who impassibly listened to you. He was unnerving. Too stolid and tranquil, he got on your nerves without even talking much.
Before dignifying you with an answer, he slicked back the single cowlick tickling his pointy nose, a placid smile adorning his lips “Is that what you wish for? — he queried softly, before ambling over the cold body of his victim and inspecting it with a cold indifference that made you question how many people he had killed throughout the years — Mala tempora currunt. Forming alliances is fundamental to survive”.
You blinked, swallowing forcefully to withstand the impact his words had on you. If the world once belonged to supernatural beings it was merely because humans feared those who possessed such abilities. Knowledge is power and, forging new weapons to eradicate the so-called monsters from the society, from hunters you had all become the hunted. No matter how powerful you were, you were constantly on the run and with no one to seek protection from. It was probably a matter of time before someone killed you. Vampires were surely powerful, albeit the sunlight was their greatest weakness. Their strength dopended on their biological age. The man in front of you looked like he was in his early thirties, but the confidence and charisma he possessed indicated he had most likely been around for a long time. Centuries. There was no doubt he was a skilled fighter, if he had lived that long unscathed.
“I don’t trust vampires” you countered back, watching him pick up the lifeless body of the young nun as if it weighted nothing.
“You shouldn’t trust anyone besides yourself. — he replied, glancing at you briefly before staring back at the girl in his arms — However, this is what happens to people who don’t make connections. I can offer you protection, a safe place to live, and only ask for a few favors in return. We don’t have to be friends to make an alliance” he reasoned, once again reminding you of how much you were risking by isolating yourself and working as a killer for a living.
You took a few seconds to ponder your next words. The temptation to accept the deal was alluring and, all in all, you knew there was a catch in this.
“If I refuse your offer, you are going to denounce me, am I correct?” you inquired, his smile confirming your inklings and earning a scoff from you.
Holy crap, you were screwed.
“How perceptive of you. — he said, his baritone voice caressing your skin like a silky blanket leaving goosebumps on its wake — My name’s Sosuke Aizen” he introduced himself, bowing his head cordially to make up for his temporary impossibility to shake your hand.
You did the same “I’m Y/N L/N” you curtly said, before letting your eyes flick to Hinamori once again. It was disturbing continuing your conversation in her presence. Your expression probably spoke volumes, for the vampire to sigh and indicating a window at the end of the corridor.
When be began to walk in its direction, you hesitantly followed him “Wait, don’t tell me you’re going to throw her out of the window…” you voiced your doubts, but the ugly look from him made you desist from pressing him with more questions.
You stood next to him as he hurled the corpse out of the window, the sound of it colliding with the muddy ground down below made you flinch, but you did not expect for a familiar voice to pierce your ears. You had had no guts of looking outside the window, you had limited yourself to check the stairs to assure the both of you no one had seen the sacrilegious action. Still, curiousity killed the cat; when you heard Kisuke’s voice coming straight from the yard, you peered down to check on him and there he was. Smug grin, disheveled sandy hair sticking to his forehead, he was mostly covered in dirt. At his feet there was a freshly dug pit in which he was tossing Sosuke’s victim.
Your mind went blank. That werewolf was in cahoots with the vampire! Probably, he had caused that commotion at the restaurant to allow his friend to feed without anyone bothering him.
“It took you so long, Lord Aizen! It’s freaking cold outside!” the werewolf complied, grey eyes gleaming in the darkness as he picked up the shovel at his feet to fill up the pit once again. It was definitely not the first time they did something like that.
“Actually, I got held up by this lady. — Sosuke retorted, making space for you to lean out of the window and granting his friend a look at your shocked face — From this day and for years to come, she is in partnership with us” he informed Kisuke, only for you to regret all of your life’s choices in a instant.
The perspective of being burned alive did not sound that unappealing anymore.
Kisuke stopped in his tracks, a smirk on his lips as he winked up at you “Welcome to our society, milady. I truly hope you will survive” he chimed, causing you to halt and look back at Sosuke dead in the eye.
“What does he mean by that?” you asked him, ready to hit him with a migraine spell right on the spot. Something about these two was off and you were pretty sure they were responsible for a long line of unsolved murders.
He sighed “The last woman who joined us tragically died in a fight against another supernatural brigade. You are clearly stronger than her, fear not” he tried to soothe your nerves, but you simply grimaced and took a couple of steps back to put some distance between you two. You hoped he was telling the truth. In times like this, fights were frequents to establish domain over villages and you knew about some beings who had succumbed recently.
Maybe, if you knew the name of that woman, you could surely tell if she had been involved into a battle.
“Who was she?”.
“You ask too many questions, sweetheart”.
“Don’t call me that. — you punctuated, folding your arms against your chest as you gazed out of the window, eyes lingering on the starless night sky — It’s only fair you share some informations with me”.
Sosuke took a sharp intake of air, chestnut eyes closing as he leaned his back against the wall in resignation “She was a mermaid I had encountered in the South during a trip. — he began, eyelids lifting leisurely to refocus on you — Her name was Tier Harribel. I thought she could keep up with our rhythms. My mistake” he stated, leaving a weird sense on bitterness on your tongue, after his words sunk in. A mermaid. You had never met one in person, but you had heard stories about them. While they were pretty powerful in their natural habitat, they could solely rely in their hypnotizing singing and peculiar beauty on the land.
If your companions were so invested into fights for power, you had to watch your back. What if they suddenly saw you as a menace and killed you off? Strategies were not your forte, but you knew your way around men. Maybe, you could keep them on check, while honing your abilities. You were a witch, you had learned to use not only your magical abilities to bend knees. The art of seduction was something every woman knew, but witches were trained to make a good use of it at very young ages. There were stages to go through and now that you were a full grown woman in her early twenties, there was no limit to what you could do. The carousel stopped when you decided to get off of the ride.
Realizing you had zoned out for a while now, you were pulled back to reality by the sudden appearence of the goofy werewolf next to you. The man had sneaked back into the Inn by climbing the giant oak by the window. Humans would have not made it that far, but his supernatural strength showed in his agile movements and the minum effort he had endured in jumping from a brench to the other.
“Geez, I definitely need a bath, but the room I’ve booked doesn’t have a tub” he stated, your eyes travelling up and down his body in sheer disgust. Yeah, he really stank of wet dog and dirt. His clothes were a mess and he would have drawn way too many curious glances, if he were to go downstairs like that.
Maybe, this could be your chance to prove yourself to them and, at the same time, to catch their full attention. It was better to have them on your side, than after you. It was clear they were not going to let you go. The vampire had made himself abundantly clear a gew moments ago. You were stuck with them, the new addition to that deadly duo, the wanted girl they would have not hesitated to sell out to Yoruichi and Sui-Feng, if she attempted to run away. You had to learn more about them and feigned kindness, wine and blood were exactly what you needed to make them talk.
“I have rented a room too. — you started, hand reaching for the key the innkeeper had given to you earlier — Let’s go check if there’s a tub you can use”.
Your words made the werewolf pause, grey eyes scrutinizing your face suspiciously, evidently still wary around you. Pretty faces frequently deceived people and witches were well-known for taking advantage of their looks to achieve their goals. He was right not to trust you, but you could not confirm his doubts. Also, it was not like you keened to really murder them. You merely wanted hold some kind of control of the situation and, naturally, finding out more about them.
“What’s with that face? Can’t a girl take pity on a man?” you queried sarcastically, sauntering towards the room with the number three etched onto the top section of the door without waiting for him to reply. Unlocking it, you pushed the door open and made sure they entered the room before you did. The show was about to begin. The moment you joined them, you locked the door behind you again and cleared your throat to catch their attention, temporary focused on the modest forniture decorating the space.
Once their eyes were both transfixed back on you, it was time to feign a polite smile and raise your hands, fingers flicking in the air to emphasize your next words “Considering the Huntresses downstairs and the horde of guards hunting me out there in the streets, I will put a protection spell on the door. No one will be able to enter this room, or detect our presence in here anyway, alright?” you informed your new comrades, who barely shared a knowing glance before allowing you to proceed without further ado.
Turning around victoriously, you kept in mind this was, without the shadow of a doubt, a bold move. Your intention was mainly to protect yourself and show them you were going to put your abilities on the table to defend them as well. Still, who would have protected you from them, if they simply decided to betray you, to kill you?
You were doomed.
Too distracted by perfecting the incantation to pay attention to them, you had not heard the sound of clothes rustling, landing in a pile on the floorboard. What you saw, however, made your eyes widen and you swallowed forcefully upon the indecent vision welcoming you back on Earth. Kisuke Urahara, fully naked, had entered what looked like a wine cask, but was actually the tub, without even bothering to let you know he was stripping himself. You stepped back from the door and made a relative distance between you two, careful not to lock your eyes on his sculpted body, littered with scars from the battles he had fought to survive. He was smugly smiling at you, splashing the water into the tub to rub off of his muscles the dirt and sweat sticking on his flesh.
“A brute, I know. No wonder all women decline our invitations to join our army” Sosuke finally spoke out from behind you.
The hair on your nape stood on the end, his cool breath tickling your earlobe as you gulped down nervously and turned your head to the side enough to meet his gaze. You had not realized he had gotten that close to you until he had talked. Vampires, the worst specimen ever created.
Kisuke scoffed, splashing some water onto his face, slicking his damp sandy hair back “Chastising me, when you are the one who sucks them dry after they refuse your offer is a bit ironic, don’t you think?”.
You grimaced and walked off to the nearby desk, hand reaching for a glass and a pottery jug you found over there. This place truly made your skin crawl, yet you had to give it credits for the services it offered. Pouring some water into the glass, you knew you had to do something to bring balance to the conversation again.
“There is no need to bicker. We are comrades now, things like this happen on a regular basis. Also, it is not like I have never seen a naked man before” you chimed in, mellow voice cautiously aiming to extinguish the fire ready to start between them.
You brought the glass to your lips, a single sip washing away the dryness your anxiety had left behind. You could perfectly deal with them, you could handle this situation like you had handled your mentor’s loss, your friend’s decision to leave and all the terrible crimes you had committed to gain money and earn some favors from some inhabitants of the hills around the village.
Biting on the rim, you observed the vampire ubuttoning the silver buttons keeping his black cloak draped neatly over his shoulders. Underneath, he was wearing an expensive brand of clothes he had probably purchased in the North of the Country. The white shirt and the black waistcoat were immaculate, his crimson cravat a striking contrast reminding you of the nun’s blood dried around the bitemark on her tender neck. Handsome like the devil and probably worse than Satan himself.
He caught you staring, impassible face lighting up in a knowing smirk “Do you wish to see me naked as well?” he inquired, your cheeks flushing up as you barely got to shrug his provocation off with a bemused laughter fueling his curiosity.
“You are all the same underneath your clothes. What would make a difference?”.
“The way we use our bodies to pleasure our partners” Kisuke interjected, still sitting comfortably in the tub, muscular arms resting on the borders of the bathtub as he eyed you in genuine shrewdness. He did not make a move to get out of it yet and, frankly, you did not know if it was better this way, or not. Things, however, seeemed to have been escalating quicker than you had anticipated.
You settled your glass down, your own cloak dropping from your shoulders as you tossed it over a nearby chair probably to gain some time to fire a smart answer back “I see. Men and their toxic tendency of being convinced they can pleasure a woman more than she can do it herself, even going as far as competing over who does it better than the other. — you rambled, rolling your eyes and allowing a soft chuckle to escape your lips while you flicked your gaze up to meet the hungry eyes soaking in your form, now visible for the lack of the cloak hiding your curves — Can’t any of you understand women know how to reach their ecstasy themselves? They are the only ones who know how to reach blissful climaxes, without a man attempting to find that spot, or… Well, find the clitoris”.
You were well aware you were walking on thin ice and feeding their imagination. Then again, you were kind of getting some thoughts that had been pestering your mind for years out of your head and, additionally, you could not stop running your mouth because the wine you had consumed earlier was really getting to you. Wonderful, considering you were in the company of two supernatural beasts that could easily snap your neck like a twig, thanks to your lack of concentration.
Sosuke hummed, arms folded over his chest, back leaning against the wall behind him “I don’t doubt your words. Nobody can say to know a body more than the owner themselves. — he gave you credit for your remark, pausing only to watch you kick your boots off of your feet and run your fingers through your hair to fix them, a vision making his pants uncomfortably tight — The exception to this rule, however, is clearly in practice and acute observation. Someone who has spent centuries walking this Earth, having countless people warming up his bed, telling him where they longed to be touched, my dear, knows how to break your mind” he replied confidently, stunning you in silence as you slumped onto a chair and propped your chin over the upturned palm of your hand.
He had a point. How were you supposed to reply to this? This smile on his lips told you just enough to let you know he had no problem in showing you the empiric evidence of his theory. And, damn him, you were pressing your thighs together to subtly relieve the throbbing need irrevocably growing in your heat.
The sound of water gushing out and splattering onto the wood made your head snap back towards Kisuke, who had raised tall on his feet and climbed out of the tub with an impressive bulge worsening your state. The room felt way too hot right now and you wanted nothing more than your clothes to evaporate at the moment. You straightned your back, eyes straying away from him to preservate your mind from what you were seeing. You were definitely not a prude. Not after Grimmjow, long ago, had showed you the pleasures a cock well stuffed into your core could bring to you. Too bad he had then enrolled in the so-called Hollow Army to bring war to a Country you did not even remember the name of.
“You may know the female anatomy better than me, alright, but can you smell her arousal? Because, to be precise, she is clearly dripping underneath her gown and it all started the moment she saw me naked” the werewolf earnestly stated and, bloody Hell, how you wished you could simply summon a fireball to throw at him to shut his mouth. He was telling the truth and your upper lip twitched in irritation for having been caught red-handed so easily.
You could not blame him for having supernatural senses, though.
Your palms were sweaty, eyes darkening in anticipation as you cleared your throat before Sosuke could blast his alley’s ego effortlessly with his silver tongue. Why restraining yourself now? You had started this, they had to finish it. What was better than sex to fortificate relationships? Everything was going according to your plan, fortunately.
You spread your legs tentatively, hand reaching for the hem of your plum gown to hike it up and expose your legs up to your thighs “Still, I don’t see any of you doing something to fix the problem…” you hazardously whispered, sly smile creeping on your lips.
Sosuke arched a dark eyebrow up, cocking his head to the side “Aren’t you going to pick your knight for the ride, dear? You just expect us to jump on you like two dogs contending a piece of meat, don’t you?”.
“You know, it doesn’t really matter to me who is going to fuck me. — you started, pursing your lips thoughtfully — What I need right now is for one of you two to help me out. I offered you a bath and a room and I have blindly accepted to partake to this association, whatever it is. Consider this a payback” you stated, watching Kisuke loop his arm around Sosuke’s shoulders and whispering something you failed to catch in his ear.
With the masterly art of masking his emotions, Sosuke did not let his facial muscles stretch to display his reaction to Kisuke’s words. You guessed this was a skill he had acquired after centuries of living in a reality in which the less you showcased the longer you lived. Therefore, when the other man took a step away from him, Sosuke gazed into your eyes, looking for sincerity in your offer. When you did not falter, he motioned for Urahara to proceed. You locked eyes with the werewolf instantly, hand reaching up to scratch the stubble over his chin, when he bent down towards you.
“Did you ask your buddy if you could do the honors?” you asked him, fluttering your lashes as he bit the tip of your nose playfully, before dropping onto his knees in front of you. Calloused hands slithering up your stockings, he seeked the garters to unlatch them and free your panties from the leather restrictions.
He chuckled, shooting a knowing look at you “Let’s just say we started a contest. Who makes you come faster wins” he cooed casually, fingers tugging at the waistband of your underwear and dragging them down your thighs deftly, before clutching them in his hand and taking a long whiff of them. You squirmed on your seat, jaw dropping but closing soon, prompted by the cold hand of Sosuke now standing at your side with an obscure gleam in his caramel brown eyes.
“Relax. You are in good hands” he hushed you, thumb playing with your bottom lip, as you watched Kisuke’s head disappear underneath the layers of your gown, lips quickly finding your folds and tongue lapping at your arousal like a starving animal.
Right, this is what he was after all.
With the first licks he gave you, attention solely trained on your clitoris, you jerked over the chair you were sitting on. Your head lolled back, neck strained and chest threatening to spill out of the tight corset you were wearing. Your breasts, squeezed and pushed up by the fine item gifted to you by Lord Ishida Ryuken in exchange of Lord Kurotsuchi Mayuri’s head, were a sight the vampire could not ignore. He was a man too, at the end of day. No matter how composed and sophisticated he was: right now Sosuke Aizen only wanted to bury his face between those plush mounds and trace with his tongue a path leading to your jugular. A bite, some blood to taste you.
Fingers running through your hair, he brought his lips close to your ear, pointy nose nuzzling your cheekbone “Do you mind if I have a taste, sweetheart?”.
A taste. He wanted to feed from you. Mind fuzzy for the intense waves of pleasure provided by the werewolf’s tongue now swirling around your entrance, you moaned loudly and peered up at Sosuke in sheer desire “Are you going to suck me dry too?”.
“Don’t be foolish. I merely want to rinse my mouth from the nun’s blood. — he whispered, mouth already searching for the vein of your neck, eyes closed as he smelt the fragrance of your blood — I would rather have you screaming my name in pleasure every night than making you my meal”.
You shuddered, the tongue between your thighs was now accompanied by a finger stretching your pussy for what was yet to come. Your hand reached up to grab a fistful of Sosuke’s silky hair and tug at them, when his fangs pierced your neck. You whined, a pained one, the overflow of your blood invading his mouth depriving you gradually of some energy. The two mouths over your body were definitely robbing you of the last shreds of sanity left in you.
“Oh my Lord— Gosh, I’m close” you breathed out, a groan of approval rambling from somewhere deep in Sosuke’s chest as he pulled his mouth away from you. You felt some trickles of blood dribbling down your neck, escaping the wound he had left onto your neck, leaving goosebumps on their wake.
Legs spasming, you bucked your hips against Kisuke’s face, seeking more friction, riding your orgasm out with untainted hunger. It all felt like a lucid dream and, to be honest, you had no idea how you ended up naked over the bed after your orgasm. You remembered Sosuke pulling you into his arms, kissing you violently and spinning you around, whilst his fingers hastily undid the strings of your corset. Falling face first onto the bed, you were soon sandwiched between them.
None of you was covered, skin to skin, panting, you realized what was going on only when Kisuke’s length probbbed at your lips “Spit on it, babygirl. Suck on it, come on, make it nice and wet. You know, it’s only for the best. I don’t want to hurt that cute little hole of yours later, hm? Lubricate it”.
And you did. Tongue sweeping out of your mouth to twirl around the mushroom head of the hard cock in front of your face, you kept an intense eye-contact with the werewolf before taking as much as you could into your warm cavern. He grunted, hand resting behind your nape to push your head even more down onto him. But even though you had tried so hard not to show a gag reflex, you ended up choking on Kisuke’s cock, when you felt Sosuke’s ministrations on your puckered hole.
Tears prickled at your eyes, falling from your lashes as you took a sharp intake of air, and Kisuke sighed, hand ruffling your hair to comfort you “Sosuke, don’t be so rough with her. She’s… Ah, shit! She’s in the middle of a very delicate— Oh! Fuck, like that, shit! If you keep going like that, I’m gonna cum!” Kisuke’s protests towards the other man turned into a series of moans elicited by your mouth.
You had gained back some control, head bobbing up and down in a fluid motion, once you had adjusted to Sosuke’s intrusion in your most private parts. Before you could even properly realize it, in fact, he was already pressing his tip onto your entrance and the stretch left you breathless. Strings of saliva connected your mouth to Kisuke’s cock, choked out whines escaping your lips.
“Sosuke!” you cried out, a whimper leaving your wobbly lips, nails clawing at Kisuke’s thighs as a reflex while he held your face in his hands.
Your spine arched, eyes squeezed shut as the vampire groaned lowly, rotating his hips against yours to bottom out. Tight, warm, your hole was literally sucking him in. The spit he had used and the fingering had done nothing to make it less hard to breach in. Still, there you were, taking him like a champion. Your legs trembled, but gosh how beautiful you looked like that. Your ass, pressed up against his navel, was making it hard for him not to burst into you right on the spot.
Kisuke took notice of his colleague’s status and clicked his tongue “Oh, are you alright, man? Having a hard time holding on?”.
“Shut up, Kisuke” Sosuke admonished him sternly, fingertips digging onto your waist as you were now helped by the two men to raise better onto your knees and straddle Kisuke’s lap. You were out of breath, thin sheen of sweat beading your forehead whilst Kisuke gently slipped himself into your pussy. The feeling made your eyes roll in the back of your skull.
You heard them cussing, throwing insults at each others face, pointing out how loud you were because of their ministrations. Honestly, you had no idea of which one of them was blowing your mind more than the other. All you knew, when you forced them to kiss you contemporary in a messy dance of tongues and labored breaths, was that you were not going to betray them. Not that night, not in a lifetime.
When the three of you were done, bodies sweaty and numb, you were laying between them, spent, drained. Their seeds leaked out of your body, staining the sheets underneath you, while you absent-mindedly drew patterns on Sosuke’s pectoral and let Kisuke play with your hair.
“May my mentor be blessed, for she taught me how to make birth control potions” you muttered tiredly, huffing as Sosuke grasped your wrist and nipped at the veins to play with your emotions.
“Indeed. — Sosuke commented, glaring at Kisuke at your back — I would have hated to deal with pups around my castle”.
“What a jerk”.
AUTHOR NOTE.
Hello there! It’s finally here. I will be frank with you. I have enjoyed writing this fic more than I had anticipated. There is a lot going on up there, but I hope I have been able to depict the mediveal world I had in mind. I tried to vary in the choice of the specimens mentioned and it sounded so good in my head. Hopefully, this is spooky and kinky enough to celebrate this fabulous month!

You had ridden most of the night, but once the daylight began to rise in the sky you felt sleep take you. Sandor tied Lika to Stranger and Sandor held you as he rode. You insisted you didn’t need the sleep but he insisted in the opposite direction. He’d ridden most of the day holding you against his chest, wrapped in his cloak.
You’d woken up in the forest. The light that peaked through the gaps in the leaves of the trees above you began to shine in your eyes. A cold breeze traveled through them, waking you up even more. You looked to your side through half open eyes. You sat up quickly, realizing you were laying on the soft grass alone. You looked around and saw Sandor was watering the horses, and you were wrapped in his cloak.
“‘M right here.” He said looking over his shoulder at you then back to the horses.
You looked around and never felt so alone, there was no one for miles. But again you never felt so free.
But you couldn’t help but feel somewhat awkward. You’d never been alone with Sandor like this. There was hardly any chance of anyone stumbling upon you, your time was not limited, and now everyone must have known. Known that he took you with him.
You sat up and held your knees closer to your chest, you noticed how the red gown the Lannisters had made for you was already wearing thin, the fabrics tearing slightly. You ran your fingers over the ruined fabric over your knee. You noticed the pattern of the fabric was lions and roses. As your fingers ran over the lion's tail you couldn’t help but feel a pit in your stomach.
Tyrion.
You didn’t love him, that was true. But you were fond of him. And maybe at some point if you were married you could have. He wasn’t like his family, and he tried, he really did try to make your cage a comfortable one. But he did not open that cage for you, he didn’t even seem to want to. Sandor did.
Sandor looked over his shoulder at you again, noticing you examining the fabric.
“You can’t wear that out ‘ere.” He said gruffly as he stood and walked towards Stranger.
You looked confused,
“Somebody comes along and see’s you in that bloody thing you know what they’ll do?” He asked, as if he was testing you. Wanting to know just how cruel you knew the world could be.
“Something like those men during the riot did.”
“No.” He huffed while rummaging through the sattles bag “No one’ll ever touch you like that again.” He said pulling out some clothes and walking towards you, “But they’ll know who you are. Where the fuck you came from. Lannisters would find us faster.”
“You don’t think they’ll know who you are?” You asked as he handed you the clothes,
“You can change that fuckin’ dress but I can’t change my face now can I?”  He said in a gruff voice that you ignored as you looked at the clothes. There was a white cotton tunic, a thick gray wool sweater that was like a dress on you. a pair of tall black leather boots, a thick black leather belt with a satchel attached to it, and a pair of dark brown trousers that were too tight for you but would have to do.
“where’d you get this?” You asked looking at the clothing,
“Stole it, while you were sleeping.” You looked up at him with a look of surprise “They didn’t want them, fucking left them outside.”
“Were they on a line?” He didn’t respond to you, just stared at you with guilty eyes, “They were hanging to dry. You can’t do that.”
“I’ll do what I have to, for you.” he whispered that last part, “You’re very kind. That’ll get you killed out here.” His voice was hardened and cold, “Change.” He said walking back to the horses by the river.
You shrugged off his hardened words. running your fingers through your hair. You realized how dirty the journey had made it. Not to mention the dirt that had gathered on your hands, feet, and knees.
Your eyes wandered towards the river, the water rushing looked inviting. You looked around, there was no one, at least for the next thirty miles. Then you looked back to sandor who was tending to the horses, he was strangely attentive and fond of the horses. It made you feel warm inside, seeing him be so gentle, after you’ve seen him kill and maim men for little reason.
You stood, as you did you began to remove your gown, Sandor could hear the fabric of your gown being discarded. He pretended not to notice it as he kept his back turned.
Your gown fell around your feet as you stepped out of it, your underclothes with it.
You walked towards the river, you dipped your foot in the cold water. It wasn’t like the warm baths in lavender oil that you were used to. But it was what you needed. The water was much deeper than you expected.
You plunged into the cold waters, let yourself stay under the water for a moment. The coldness of the water surrounded you, like it was holding you. It reminded you of the cold winds of the Eyrie. Before you could daydream even more you were pulled out of the water by your arm.
You gasped for air as your head finally reached the surface.
“Fuck are you doing, girl?” He barked at you, you pulled your arm away,
“I was dirty.” You said with a smirk as you were catching your breath.
“Er clean now, out.” He said pulling your arm again but you pulled away and out of his grasp. He huffed, you noticed that he was still covered in blood, it was faded but it was still there.
“You’re still all bloody.” You said and he tisked at you while he pulled on your arm again. “Stop it.” You said pulling your arm away before swimming closer towards him. “Come here.” You commanded softly. With a gruff sigh he gave in, kneeled towards you. You wiped the blood from his brow, his cheek, then his scarred cheek. When you touched it he winced a little. “Does it hurt?” You whispered, he shook his head.
“Are you finished?” He rasped, you nodded. He stood and walked back and away from you. “Get out of there before a man comes along.” He rasped once again, as he sat by a small fire he’d built. No doubt with a great deal of courage, he mainly built it for you.
So you did as he said, you climbed out of the water, you threw on your under clothes to cover your nakedness, though your body was still so wet the clothes became almost transparent. Sandor looked back at you while you rang out your hair. He’d seen you naked before, but this felt all the more intimate. The glamor had worn off, and you were reduced to skin and bone. Not a noble woman but a human. Your cheeks felt red and you looked away, but you felt his gaze linger.
“Dress yourself.” He commanded in a growl “If a man comes,”
“There's no one for miles.” You interrupted him, walking towards him, your hair still dripping wet.
“Stubborn girl.” He growled as he drank water from a flask, pissed that it wasn’t wine. But you continued your steps towards him. You knelt by his side and began to undo the clasps of his armor. He grabbed your hand “Fuck are you doing?”
“You’re covered in blood, your armor- it’s covered in blood.” You said but he didn’t let go of your hand “We can’t attract attention like you said. You being covered in blood would attract just that.” He let your hand go, and you continued. Undoing each clasp until he was left in his tunic and slacks.
You sat by the river and washed each piece with your hands, taking small amounts of water and rubbing it onto the silver armor. Making sure not too much water touched it, you didn’t want to ruin the material.
Sandor watched you as the sun began to set, it made him think about what he offered you in your room the night of the battle of Blackwater. He’d build you a home. And he would. He thought of you washing clothes in a river like what you were doing now. He thought of sharing a home with you, not a grand one like the Eyrie but a small home made of wood and stone. He thought for a moment of you carrying his babe. But he was not one for chivalry, tradition, or ceremonies. But he wasn’t one for love either but here he was.
You walked back with his armor, the fire illuminated his face handsomely, you tried to put it back on him but he took it and placed it on the ground. His eyes softened strangely, but his face was still in that scowl he always had. He placed his hands on your hips and his eyes ran over your body.
“If another man saw what I am looking at right now, I would kill him.” He grumbled.
“How many men have you killed?”
“Killed my first man when I was twelve. I lost count since then.” His voice was cold, and his eyes reached yours searching for any ounce of fear. Finding none. “I don’t frighten you?” He barked as if he was trying to frighten you, trying to get you to come to your senses.
“Never.” You spoke softly, your soft words always gentled the rage within him. He felt so much for you he almost resented you for it.
He grabbed you by your jaw, “Have you ever made a man feel this way before?” He growled,
“I don’t know.” You said, still not scared of him, you knew he’d never harm you.
“I know you have. How could any man not? I know that Imp, he wanted you.” his voice was so low it rumbled in his chest.
“I never felt love for him, nor lust.” You spoke softly, his grip on you loosened.
“What of that pretty boy,”
“Loras?”
“Aye.”
You let out a small giggle at the thought of Sandor being truly jealous of Loras, a man who couldn't love a woman. “Rumors of Loras are true. He did not like the touch of a woman.”
“He was a cock sucker?”
“Stop that.”
“What, you love him do you?” His grip tightened once again but still not hurting you.
“Not the kind of love you mean.”
“You said you promised someone you love to take the Eyrie. Who?” He growled, you knew that this was the only way he’d be able to tell you he loved you. By interrogating you on who you loved.
“My mother.” His grip loosened completely, “And my father.” His hand began to rest on your neck, “I promised my mother on her child bed, to keep her house safe, and her son safe. I failed at one I can’t fail both.”
“Oaths and promises are for cunts.”
“You’ve sworn a promise to me.”
“Aye.” He said, his eyes scanning down your body once more.
“What are you looking at?”
“The fuck do you think I’m looking at.” He rasped as you noticed his hooded eyes lingering on your breasts, hardly covered by your soaking wet under clothes. You pulled the top half of your under clothes over your head. His eyes snapped to yours.
“You’ve never been fucked by a man?” He rasped, he knew you hadn’t, he knew you’d already told him this, but he needed to be sure. You shook your head. “Never had a man's fingers in your cunt?” You shook your head again, “Never had a man’s tongue in your cunt?” He rasped,
“Only yours,” You whispered. Those words only encourage his throbbing cock.
“You sure you want this?” He grumbled, his large rough hands going to your breasts. They were rough and almost hurt by how course they were. They were so large that they engulfed your breast completely. Your mind then turned back from that to the question he asked,
“I am.” Your words are soft and sweet.
“Lay back,” His voice dropped and rumbled in his chest, it made you clench your thighs together. You laid back as he asked you. You laid back on the green soft grass. As you did he pulled his tunic off and over his head. He loomed over you, his hands ran from your jaw, to your sternum, to your stomach, to your pelvis. He toyed with the fabric of your under clothes covering your sex.
“You can’t take it back.” He rasped. You nodded, and you pulled your under clothes down and over your knees, he took them off from there.
He positioned himself between your legs, and leaned down. He kissed you deeply. Sucking on your lips as if they tasted of wine. His rough hands roamed your body, they were so rough they almost scratched at your skin. You moaned into his mouth as his hand found its way to your cunt.
His large middle finger began to play with your clit. His finger circled your clit a few times then teased your entrance, just a little, adding some pressure then going back to your clit. Your sweet moans only encourage his throbbing bulge in his trousers.
Your hand gripped a chunk of his hair at the back of his head, deepening your kiss. Your other hand roamed his back, littered with scars.
He kissed down from your jaw, to your neck, to your collar bones, your chest, breasts, nipples, stomach. He sucked and bit at your side making you jump a little and mewl. He continued on and kissed your pelvic mound.
He lifted your legs up and over his shoulders, kissing your inner thighs and biting them gently. The feel of his beard scratched at your thighs. Your back arched at the feeling.
Finally, replacing his fingers with his tongue. He licked at your sensitive clit, sucking on it, and biting on it lightly, enough to make you moan his name, which in turn made him moan into your cunt. The vibration of it made the sensation all the more pleasurable.
At this point you were soaking wet, you heard lude sounds from him, a mix of growls and slurping.
You gripped a handful of his hair again scratching at his scalp.
His fingers returned to your cunts entrance, not fully entering it, just applied pressure teasing you horribly.
He kissed your swollen clit and came up for air, He looked at your cunt, empty but clenching around nothing at all. It drove him mad, as he looked up at you, you looked down at him. “I’ll be gentle, but it’ll hurt.” He said with a low raspy voice.
You nodded, “Please,” you whined.
He kissed your inner thigh as his thick ring finger began to enter you. Your back arched and you let out a groan as you threw your head back. It burned a little, and the pressure was uncomfortable, and yet felt so good. His finger continued inside of you, and his eyes watched you making sure you didn’t want it to stop. Then you felt him hit something, it made you wince. He stopped,
“Take a deep breath, little bird.” He said oddly gently. He sucked on your clit as he continued and you felt a snap inside of you, it hurt,
“Nmph!” You groaned, let out a sharp breath.
“It’s alright now, it’ll feel better now.” He said moaning into your cunt.
And he was right, the pain and the burn stopped, and was replaced by pleasure. You moaned as his finger pumped in you over and over again. He added another finger as he sucked on your breasts. You held his head and kissed the top of it whilst he did so.
He pulled his fingers out of you and sat up on his knees. You sat up as well.
Your eyes looked at his fingers, covered in your slick mixed with blood. Your cheeks lit up red with embarrassment.
“It’s alright, little bird. I fuckin' love it, you've got no fucking idea how long I've wanted to do this to ye.” He comforted you, you weren’t used to it. You tried to ignore your embarrassment and focus on what you wanted. You started to undo his trousers, he didn’t stop you this time. You pulled his trousers down with some resistance from his large cock. Once you got them down his cock bounced up, standing straight. You looked up at him waiting for any resistance, met with none once again.
You took his cock in your hand, it made your hand look so small in comparison. He let out a deep groan, which only encouraged you more. You kissed the side of his cock, and kissed your way to the tip. You licked at the precum that was seeping from his tip.
It was salty and bitter but you couldn’t get enough. However, that was his last straw. He pushed you back onto the soft grass and pulled your legs around his waist. He kissed you, tasting himself on your tongue as you tasted yourself on his.
He lined himself up with your soft, warm, and soaking wet entrance. He slowly pushed his way inside of you. You both let out a loud moan, but you tried to cover your mouth, not wanting to risk others in these forests hearing you. Sandor wouldn’t have that though. He grabbed your wrist and pulled it away from your mouth,
“Don’t you fucking dare. I want to hear all of it.” He growled at you, “I’ve waited too long to hear it.”
“What if someone hears?” You tried to say without moaning but failing miserably
“I’ll strangle them with their own guts.” He said like an angry dog, “I’m the only one who can see you like this, hear you like this.”
He pushed further and further into you until he hit your spongy cervix, making you almost scream out in pleasure. Sandor gritted his teeth and he shouted “Gods!... (Y/N), you feel so fucking good!” as he slammed his lips onto yours kissing you with a hunger you’d never known. He let himself warm inside you for a moment, letting you get used to the stretch.
All the things you’d heard about sex finally made sense. The pleasure of it, and the pain of it. But you never knew how fulfilling it could feel. How the satisfaction would feel within you. You hadn’t even cum yet but you were a woman happy nonetheless.
He began to move again, in and out of you pumping. You gripped the grass at the sides of your head. As he pumped in you your breasts bounced, his eyes couldn’t stop but admire your body. Every inch of it unique to you and you alone. All those whores he paid who looked like you weren’t like this. They didn’t feel as good as you did, they didn’t fit around him the way you did.
“I’m not ‘urting you am I?” He asked through gritted teeth, you shook your head as you moaned loudly, “Good.” He said as he pumped harder and faster. He leaned down more and ravaged your breasts, you knew there would be marks on them tomorrow. His hands gripped at your hips so tightly you knew there would be marks there as well.
“Take it, take it, take it, take it-” He grumbled into your neck over and over again.
You felt the pressure in your belly tighten, you knew you were going to cum. “I feel ya’ tightening around my cock, do it, cum around my cock.” He said into your ear as he nibbled at your lobe, then moving to bite at your jaw.
“Fuck!” You moaned loudly, “Sandor!” You yelped as you felt yourself cumming all over him.
His arm wrapped around your waist tightly pulling you up and close to this chest. While his other hand held your jaw in place, having you look him in the eyes.
“Cum in me,” You pleaded breathlessly, his eyes widened, he couldn’t believe that you’d ever want him to do such a thing. It pushed him over the edge and he didn’t have time to question if it was truly what you wanted as he melted into you.
"(Y/N)!" He shouted as you felt the hot ribbons of cum filling you deep inside of you. His grunts were like war screams, as if he were impaling a man with a sword. In a way he was. It out of nowhere made you cum again, pushing some of his cum out of your cunt, overflowing around his cock still in you.
As he collapsed beside you, and you both laid there naked covered in sweat in the cold air. You tried to catch your breath.
“(Y/N)” He said in a husky growl you could hear the rumble of his tone, you turned to look at him. “I would die for you.”

That would be really cute if Acheron and reader had a child together. You should totally write that :D
Tumblr media
Fractured Family | ACHERON X FEM!READER
And I did it.
MEN AND MINORS DNI.
Y/N lives on the Astral Express, a spaceship traveling between planets. Their child, Orion, has striking purple features like their missing partner, Acheron. Acheron vanished on a mission months ago, leaving only a cryptic message. One day, Acheron returns, weary and dusty. Confusion and tension fill the air as Y/N reveals Orion is their son. A flicker of hope emerges as Acheron connects with Orion, hinting at a chance to mend their broken family.
The hum of the Astral Express lulled you to a knee as you wrestled a giggling toddler into a pair of mismatched boots. (H/c) curls, stubbornly mirroring your own, bounced with every wiggle, intermingled with a defiant streak of violet – a clear echo of Acheron's unique hair color. However, the most striking feature on his face was a pair of bright purple eyes, a perfect inheritance from his mother.
"Hold still, Orion," you pleaded, finally managing to secure the laces. His laughter echoed through the cramped cabin, a sound both familiar and foreign at the same time.
"Mommy," he exclaimed, pointing at the battered leather satchel by the bunk. "Is Mama coming home today?"
Your heart squeezed. Acheron. The name still sent a jolt through you, a bittersweet reminder of a love both passionate and fleeting. Months ago, she'd vanished on a solo mission to a remote outpost, leaving only a terse message on the ship's communication board: "Gone rogue. Taking care of it myself. Sorry."
The cabin door hissed open, revealing a weary Acheron coated in dust and grime. Her eyes, the same piercing purple you knew so well, scanned the dimly lit space before locking on the small figure huddled by the bunk.
Silence. Acheron stood frozen, her expression unreadable. Orion, sensing the tension, tilted his head and chirped, "Hi, you must be Mama!"
Acheron's brow furrowed. She slowly approached the bunk, her gaze darting between you and the child. The air crackled with unspoken questions.
Finally, she spoke, her voice a husky whisper, "Y/N... who's this?"
You took a deep breath, bracing yourself. "Acheron," you started, your voice steady despite the nervous tremor in your heart, "this is Orion. Our son."
The revelation hung heavy in the air. Acheron stared at Orion, her eyes wide with a mix of shock, disbelief, and a flicker of something you couldn't quite decipher. The stoic huntress's mask seemed to falter for a moment, a glimpse of vulnerability beneath the weathered exterior.
Then, a hesitant smile touched her lips, a sliver of recognition lighting up her purple eyes. She knelt beside Orion on the worn rug, her movements tentative at first. But as his infectious laughter filled the cramped space, a playful glint returned to her gaze.
Tentatively, she reached out a hand, brushing it against his cheek. Orion, unfazed, leaned into the touch, a contented sigh escaping his lips. A flicker of warmth crossed your chest, a fragile hope blooming amidst the years of unspoken words.
As you watched them, Acheron's calloused fingers gently traced the contours of a mismatched sock on Orion's foot. You saw a flicker of something else in her eyes then – a flicker of regret, a silent apology.
Gathering your courage, you shifted closer, leaning into the space beside Acheron. The warmth of her presence, familiar yet distant, sent a shiver down your spine. She didn't pull away, and in that small gesture, you saw a sliver of hope for the future – a chance to mend the rough patches on your relationship, to build a new foundation for your fragile family.

You sleep though the rest of the night. Terry sits there at your bedside watching the rise and fall of your chest as the rainy dawn filters through the blinds of your hospital room. As he holds your hand he thinks about what would have happened if he hadn’t been there, what the doctors have told him could have happened.
You would have asphyxiated. It would have been slow, agonising and the thought of that, it makes his eyes sting, because a world without you, it simply isn’t worth living in.
The ridiculous thing is that all of this could have been prevented if you just had access to the proper health care, but you had no insurance and you couldn’t afford a doctor’s visit so you’d suffered in silence. Terry would gladly have given you the money but you’re a proud woman, you would never have asked.
After you’d returned from Europe you’d returned to your modest living, picking up a part time job at an art gallery. It’s a foot in the door to the career you want, one that your happy to work for no matter how many times Terry may offer up his contacts. You subsidise your income with ad hoc catering jobs, ones that require you to dress in black and deliver canapés to men like him at charity functions. The food at these events costs more that your wages.
It isn’t until tonight that he realises that your worlds are eons apart.
You haven’t told him how you struggle to make rent every month, that you’re dining on boxed macaroni and noodle cups because you can barely afford to make ends meet. Terry finds that out for himself when he starts to investigate your lack of health insurance.
It’s five am when his lawyer Reenie Greene shows up, she hands Terry the documentation he’s requested, all of it held together with a paperclip. Terry flicks through it studying the terms before he signs it, handing it back to her.
“That’s it?” Terry asks her and she nods her head as she tucks the paperwork back inside her three thousand dollar leather satchel.
“All you need to do is transfer the funds and the trust is set up for her. Any medical expenses she may incur in the future with be deducted from it automatically.” Reenie tells him, before she hoists the bag onto her shoulder and says goodbye.
Terry waits until he hears the clack of her heels retreat down the hall before he picks up his tablet and presses on the padlock, waiting for the device to acknowledge his biometrics. He pulls up one of his accounts before making a generous transfer to the healthcare account he’s set up for you. The one that should see you through the rest of your days.
There’s a relief in his chest as he watches the money disappear before it gets to the place it needs to go. He can breathe easy now, knowing you’re taken care of, that you’ll always be taken care of, with him or without him.

The boy's locker room was the last place you'd ever thought you'd be. Yet here you were standing in your brown Jimmy Choo high heel boots, brown patted skirt with the brown leather jacket to match. Your hair was wrapped up in a tight bun and a Jimmy Choo Burgundy Patent And Suede Mahala Satchel is wrapped around your shoulder. Lips in a glossed purse, as you stood in the locker room with your arms, crossed over your chest and every boy's jaw on the floor.
"You can't be in here!" a boy yelled towel wrapped around his waist. But instead of shying away from you, he laughed with his friends all of them checking out your body. His body jiggled as he laughed. You walked over to him Jimmy Choo's boots made a clink as you stepped on the dripping floor. Every male in that room followed your body.
"Sweetie close your mouth. You're cuter when you're not talking," You said watching his mouth slightly open. He stared at you in awe of the pet name and the fact that it came from your lips. He reached over with a chuckle flicking his chin. The boy jerked back causing you to chuckle.
"Watch out man you'll have to take another shower," he said causing the boy to brush him off with his hand. The group of boys went to leave but you stopped one that was on the hockey team.
"Sungchan," you called touching his arm. He turned to you with a friendly smile, already fully dressed. "Yes?" he asked you. "Have you seen Jeno?" you asked back. He raised a brow thinking for a moment. "He should be in practice," he responded swinging his duffle bag over his shoulder. "I can walk you there," he offered with a warm smile. You nodded handing him your bag. He took it in his hands walking ahead as you followed walking out of the sweat and pit-smelling locker room.
Once you arrive at the official locker room for the hockey players Sungchan stops in front of you. "This is it," he said motioning to the locker door. He handed you back your purse, opening the door for himself. You stopped it from closing with your boot. His eyes widen. "You can't come in its for boys," he nervously. You shrugged, "Are they naked?" you asked. He peaked inside seeing all the men in uniform including Jeno. He pulled his head back out shaking his head. You smiled removing your boot and letting the door hit his back.
"Then let me in," you said calmly with a hint of sternness. He sighed pushing the door open. He cursed at himself in his head for letting you talk down to him and for also wanting to do whatever you told him to do.
You walked drawing attention once again with the sound of your boots. Your eyes however searched for Jeno. Seeing only two members of the team sitting at their respective benches. Your school took hockey and basketball very seriously giving both sports their own respective space to practice and change. As you walked further in you stepped on the orange and blue rug continuing your search for Jeno.
You saw Sungchan place his bag down and sit beside Haechan who turned his head when he looked at you. You smirked to yourself knowing the effect you had on him. You walked further in seeing Ten emerge in full uniform. He picked up his head smiling wide when he saw you. He rushed over to you embracing you in a hug. "Mhm you smell great," he complimented. "Same as always?" he asked and you nodded with a warm and genuine smile.
You took his hand pulling him to the side. "Where's Jeno?" you whispered. He nudged his head to the left. "In the office talking with the coach. He should be outside," he said you nodded. He began chuckling showing off his gorgeous smile. "By the way," he nudged his head forward. "Haechan is pissed," he said with a slight chuckle.
"So you see," you responded. "You really did a number on him," he said back looking away from Haechan who once he looked your way again got up and left leaving Sungchan alone. You turned back to Ten hearing a voice. The voice matched a face once he emerged from the corner. Your smile fell and your eyes slightly widened, a lump caught in your throat. Ten scanned your face worried. "What is it?" he asked seeing your face change from worry to annoyance.
He was about to turn but then he heard the boy laugh. Si Cheng is behind him talking with Yangyang. Both men laughed not even noting your presence until Yangyang opened his eyes his laughter dying once he spotted you.
"Y/n?" he questioned Si Cheng's head snapping to you almost popping a vein. "Y/n?" he questioned as well. "What are you doing here?" asked Yangyang. You attempted to find an excuse but Si Cheng beat you to it.
"She's here to meet me. Right babe?" he asked walking over to you. He pushed past Ten who stumbled back annoyed. You scoffed licking your teeth and shaking your head. Si Cheng landed by your side placing a strong arm around your waist. Dressed in his hockey uniform he pulled you closer to him. "Came to wish me luck on the game tonight," he said and you smiled with a nod. Yangyang stepped closer Sungchan coming over as well.
"I didn't know you guys were dating," said Sungchan. "How could you not everyone know? They fucked in his car, remember?" Yangyang asked. You watched Ten's hand ball up into a fist but shot him a glare. You chuckled brushing your arm. "That seems like an exsanguination," you said back calmly with a small shake of your head. "I don't sleep and tell," you said looking over at Si Cheng who clenched his jaw tightening his grip around your waist.
You watched his leg start to bounce. You bit back your own smile.
"Doesn't seem like it," he spat back.
"Wouldn't you like to know?" you asked with a tilt of your head. You mouthed the words "Watch it" to Yangyang all of you watched as he scoffed and walked away. "Ten a moment alone with my boyfriend," you said to Ten who eyed the boy. Si Cheng smugly smirked ushering Ten away with his hand. "You heard her go," he said cockily. Ten went to rush at him but Sungchan stopped him placing a hand on his chest with a shake of his head. "Come on it's not worth it," he said removing Ten. You sent him a comforting smile as he left.
Once it was just you two in the locker room you stepped onto his foot hard his hand removing itself from around your waist. You turned to him, Si Cheng holding onto his aching foot a srunch in his face in pain. You bent down grabbing onto his uniform collar pulling him back up his body straightening out. His fearful eyes wide staring back into your angry ones. You dragged him to a locker pushing him up against it. "Listen, Si Cheng, I don't know how you convinced everyone that I'm on your pathetic little arm but you did. Now that you have given me no choice I will do everything in my power to destroy you,"
"Y/n come on it's all fun-" he said smugly.
"It's not fun for me. You are slowly destroying my reputation and I won't let, especially some nobody do that," You said with a shake of your head. Words spitting from your mouth like venom. Si Cheng hadn't taken this seriously. Assuming this would be a game for the two of you from now on. But now seeing the firey look in your eyes he was starting to realize who he was dealing with.
"I will rip every piece of you apart piece by piece. Destroy every bit of your social life that even the people outside who beg to be in this school will look down upon you. You will be burned to ashes when I'm done with you," you said with no stutter. You stepped closer to him just hovering over his face and with a hushed whisper you spoke.
"And I'll start with the people closest to you the same way yours did to mine," you hushed. Si Cheng's heart rate picked up when you spoke your words of warning. He needed to say something do anything to stand his ground. So he pushed your hand off his arm jerking it back. He stepped closer to you causing you to step back.
"Okay, baby you wanna play this kind of game? You know who my father is-" he warned.
"And you know mine. Try and threaten me," you spat back with a confident smirk. You crossed your arms over your chest watching Si Chjeng closely as he went to speak however his words died on his tongue when the captain of the hockey team stepped out of the coach's office.
You looked over his shoulder with a sinful smile. Si Cheng's eyebrow raised confused. He went to speak but you shushed him with your hand. He stops seeing you and starts to walk away.
"Jeno!" you called grabbing the captain's attention. He turned to you with a smile. Si Cheng's heart skipped a beat poking the inside of his mouth with his tongue. You looked back at Si Cheng with a glare that was quickly replaced with a smile. Who knew behind all that glamour and good looks was an evil Easy A?
"I was looking for you," you said to Jeno as you walked past Si Cheng. Jeno smiled as you skipped over to him completely oblivious to one of his best friends watching not too far away. If this is how you were going to handle things then let there be war.
Too bad you were already a few steps ahead, taking the jewels from all the battles you've already won.
You didn't spare Si Cheng a second glance once your arm wrapped around Jeno's stepping outside the hockey team's locker room.
"I was looking for you," You said on Jeno's arm as he walked to the ice rink. He smiled shaking his head. "I'm sorry I kept you waiting," He said opening the door for you. You stepped inside the cool room rubbing your hands together. Jeno followed behind handing you his Celine hoodie. You slipped it on taking your place on a nearby bench while the hockey team began practice. Jeno slipped on his skates. Once he tied them both he stood up leaning over to place a kiss on your kiss you swiftly turned your head his kiss landing on your cheek.
He didn't think much of it taking off onto the ice rink.
Jeno and you had a small past. You weren't lovers or even close friends, it was only recently that you two became so close. However, you did know his older sister thanks to the closeness of your parents. This university was full of kids who lived wealthy lives it was just a matter of how high you were on the chain of wealth.
You sat at the top. Your parents own multiple businesses their biggest being the tech company. Jeno's father is a CEO at one of your mother's companies. The two being great friends in college she offered him a job he couldn't refuse. Making his sister, him, and you childhood friends. His father always wanted the best for his children. He wanted both to be successful, attend the best schools, and join as many clubs as possible. He wanted his children to live the life they both truly deserved and with his daughter next in line for the company he had to give his son something.
A certain Sunday afternoon at the Y/L house gave him the idea.
After your time with Yangyang that Sunday, you missed brunch with your friends, you had to attend a small brunch your parents were hosting before they left for Bejing on business. They invited a few friends, Jeno's parents being on the guest list.
And with your luck, Jeno was already on your list.
So you set the bait. During your parent's brunch, you pulled him aside. Leading him down a hallway of your childhood home. Sneaking off into your old bedroom. You shut the door after pushing him inside. He stood confused but intrigued unable to wipe the smile off his lips. You locked your bedroom door your feet not having a chance to sink into the memories of your soft carpet. You pushed Jeno onto your bed straddling. He shocked held onto your waist so you wouldn't fall. Leaning down you placed a kiss on his lips grinding against him.
He pulled away eyes wide but still holding his grip on your waist. His lips are already hot and red. A million questions flowed through his head. You had never shown any interest in him. What made you change your mind? Was it physics? He thought or maybe his cologne.
" Y/n what are you doing?" he asked chest heaving up and down. You sat back hands placed on his firm chest a small pout forming on your lips. "You don't want to?" you asked a hint of sadness in your tone. He sat up shaking his head holding you tight, close to him. "No I do its just not when your parents and my parents are in the other room," he said. You sighed lifting your leg up from his waist. You stood up, Jeno sitting up legs spread fixing his blue blazer.
"Fine," you pouted fixing yourself. Jeno stood up wanting to see me in your presence. Grabbing your arm he pulled you in his direction guiding you to your bed. He laid you down and picked up your brown flowy Prada dress that hugged your curves perfectly. He kissed his way up or thigh his action catching you by surprise. His kisses are warm and wet, the heat from his lips on your skin making your panties pool.
You sat up watching his head disappear into your dress. "Jeno I thought…our parents," you said softly eyes beginning to shut as Jeno inched closer. He lifted his head lips wet from his own drool. "I know what I said baby but you clearly need my help and I can't just let you leave when you're in pain. Does it hurt baby?" he asked and you nodded with a pout. He picked himself up with a slight nod followed by a pout placing a wet kiss on your lips.
"See baby I can leave you in pain. So let me do this okay? Let me make it better," he said kissing your jaw. You nodded handing reaching up to his hair and eyes shutting. "Okay but what will I do when it hurts again?" you asked playing along. He kissed under your ear and down your neck. Licking and sucking on the beauty mark just below your ear. "Call me and I'll help you," he said placing a kiss on your lips. You nodded turning your head to fully engulf him with your lips.
His hand glides down your body hands bunching up the cloth of your dress, hicking it, and ruffling up at your waist. His fingers slipped past your lilac panties spreading your wet folds between his cool lengthy fingers. You leaned your head back on his chest eyelids fluttering shut. Your lips parted air pushing through and fanning his skin. His fingers crept around your clit swirling the bud in small circles.
You let out an airy moan still being mindful of where you were. Jeno smirked eyes peeling from his hand that disappeared under your brown dress to your face. "That's right baby girl take it," he whispered into your ears warm breath tickling your neck. You shuddered hand reaching to grab his thigh. The faster his fingers circled your clit the higher your hand slid up his thigh gripping on his slacks, your nails digging into his skin.
"Fuck," you cursed feeling your moan get caught in your throat. He looked up checking the door. Seeing it closed the door still locked shut he looked back down with a smirk. He used his other hand to grab hold of your chin yanking your face to meet his looking deep into your eyes. "Awww," he cooed speeding up his fingers. Your lips formed a pout his eyes mocking you.
"Baby girl, are you close?" he asked darkly. You nodded your hand inching closer to his clothed cock. You nodded a knot in your stomach quickly forming but something in your gut told you there was something off about Jeno Demnor.
His hand suddenly slowed. "I'll let you cum if you answer my question," he said you huffed annoyed he brought you so close yet took it away. You rolled your eyes your hand hovering over his dick. You flicked your eyes back up to him. "Fine," you said lips forming a tight line.
"Did you fuck Si Cheng?" he asked slowly circling your clit.
You shook your head staring into his eyes.
"You wouldn't believe me if I said yes," you responded.
He smirked leaning down and placing a kiss on your lips. You turned your head his kiss landing on the corner of your mouth. You dropped your hand grabbing onto his cock and squeezing it feeling how hard he was in your hand. "But don't get in the middle baby. I know your secret," you said picking your head up. You stood up to walk away but he followed grabbing hold of your waist and throwing you onto your bed,
Your legs spread apart. Jeno flopped onto the bed laying in front of you crawling to rest in between your legs. You raised yourself on your elbows watching with a villainous smirk on your lips. Jeno grabbed hold of your thighs spreading your legs apart your dress spilling onto your waist. He ripped your panties off throwing them to the other end of your room. His cool fingers spread your fold, hot mouth engulfing your clit. His tongue flicked the bundle of nerves.
You chuckled watching him devour you.
He wasted no time abusing your clit and sucking every inch of your pussy with his wet lips. Eating you like a starved man. You felt the knot in your stomach form again. He looked up your hands spreading your thighs apart still. Your bottom lip in between your teeth stared back into his dark orbs head falling back as you spilled into his mouth. He groaned eyes shutting as she swallowed your juices coaxing his throat.
"Jeno! Y/n!" you heard your mother called. Jeno panicked letting you go. He stood up adjusting himself while you took your time licking your lips as you walked up to the anxious man. You patted his shoulder stealing his attention.
"Come see me again," you said. He smiled hand resting on your waist.
"Y/n," he began successfully hiding his boner. "I know what you're doing. I know what you've done with my friends," he said hand pulling you closer to him.
You raised a brow heart skipping a beat. Your breathing had quickened as you tried to focus on his eyes. "What do you mean?" you asked hiding the nerves in your tone.
"I know you didn't fuck Si Cheng. You would never, not even out of pity," he chuckled dark hair dusting his forehead. "But I know you Y/n, I know you have a knack for revenge," he said darkly. You pushed him off angrily. "You don't know me-"
"Yes I do," he said calmly. "I know you are planning something," he said with a step towards you. "I may not know what," he said stepping closer and closer to you, your back hitting the dresser. He hovered over you. "But I know it involves them," he said glaring into your eyes. Your chest rose up and down trying to find the words to speak. Your mind flowed with questions. How was he able to read you so well? There so no way out of the entire friend group he would figure it out.
You couldn't let him win. You couldn't let them win. You weren't even halfway and he was seconds from destroying everything. The worry on your face sparked even more of his flames.
"And if I find out what you're doing. I will destroy you," he said a hitch in your throat. You gulped fear flowing through your veins. "So for now," he helped you up taking your arm in his. "You will be my obedient and pleasant girlfriend and if you refuse I'll have my private investigator search every inch of your life and find out what you're doing," he said an unpleasant smile on his lips. "Do you understand?" he asked guiding you to your bathroom door. You nodded walking with him. He opened the door allowing you to step inside.
"Great. Now get yourself cleaned up. I'll meet you in the living room," he said with a smile as he shut the door. The minute the door shut you felt the tension in your body fade. You let out a breath you didn't even realize you were holding. You instantly grabbed your phone and dialed the number of your private investigator thinking only one thing in your head.
Jisung better not have opened his fucking mouth.
———
Once Jeno took off onto the rink you rolled your eyes removing his sweater from your body and placing it on the bench. You would rather be cold than wear his sweater.
After the team took a break you decided to leave. There was a certain boy you had to find. You stood up grabbing your purse. Jeno skated his way to you opening the door to the rink and coming to your side concerned.
“Your leaving? Why so soon?” He asked nicely turning to see if his friends were watching. They were so when he turned back to you he frowned. You sighed forming an apologetic smile on your lips. “I’m sorry. I really have to go. I have an exam tomorrow and I really need to study,” you said moving to walk past him but he stopped you grabbing hold of your arm. He leaned close to your ear lips grazing over your skin.
“You better not be running off to work on your little revenge plan. Because if I remember correctly on a certain Sunday brunch in your childhood bedroom I warned you what would happen if I find out you doing anything you not supposed to be,” he warned. You yanked your arm away looking him in his dark eyes.
“I said I was studying. And besides Jeno do you really want to warn me so out in your open? Where anyone can see you or hear you. Look that them,” you leaned in taking his chin in your hands and pointing his head in the direction of his friends all watching the two of you.
“One wrong move. One slip and I’ll make sure everyone here believes you hurt me got it?” You asked a smile on your tongue. He scoffed stepping back from you. “You know what you’re right, you should probably go. I have some things I need to take care of,” he said as he walked back to the rink skating with his friends. You brushed off his comment making your way out of the rink.
Once the door closed you instantly made your way down the hallway. Students seeing the glare in your eyes and nostrils that flared stepped aside saving themselves from your wraith. You turned a corner spotting a certain friend of Jisung’s speaking with a fellow classmate. You walked over to him nudging his friend to the side and grabbing onto the other guy's shirt.
“Where is Jisung?” You asked him eyes glaring into his. He put his hands up shaking his head glasses shifting.
“I don’t know-“
“Don’t like to me Doyoung. Where is he?” You asked narrowing your eyes. Your brows furrowed as he scrambled his words. “Why?” He asked nervously fumbling with the straps on his book bag.
“He owes me something. Now tell me!” You demanded Doyoung’s friend running off. Doyoung shook in your grasp looking at every else but your eyes. You shook him again heels clanking on your floor. He put his hand up in defense. He always dreamed of you approaching him but not like this.
“In the library-“ he finally said through pants. You let him go causing him to stumble but he didn’t fall. He adjusted his glasses and fixed his button-up as he watched your hips sway down the hallway to the library. His nerdy friend came back patting Doyoung’s shoulder.
“Was it everything you hoped?” He asked jokingly. Doyoung shrugged him off. “Oh, you didn’t run away?” He spat back. The boy just shook his head sucking his teeth.
The trip to the library, while on the other side of the building, was rather quick. You practically flew there with how quickly your legs took you there. You opened the doors head already doing circles around the seemingly crowded space. You swiped your ID gaining access to the space and moving past a group of girls who were just walking into the space. You walked farther in not seeing him at a desk on the main floor. So you went upstairs a disappointed huff leaving your lips when you failed to find him again. After an unsuccessful trip upstairs you began checking the aisles.
He wasn’t in Fiction.
Or Mystery.
Or Romance.
Nor was he in Si-Fi.
You were about to give up until you reached historical fiction where you found the boy in the grey hoodie sitting on the floor, reading a nonfiction book and headphones in his ear. You smiled walking over to him. When you stood tall above him he still hadn’t noticed your presence. You sighed bending down to his level knees touching your chest. You leaned forward grabbing one of the headphones and removing it from his ear.
“Hi,” you said quietly. He turned to your neutral lips forming a smile. “Oh hey,” he said taking off his other headphone. You smile nose scrunching in the process. Jisung smiled back but it slowly started to fade when he realized you were pissed. He immediately grabbed his bookbag stuffing his books in his bag. His headphones fell to the ground dragging on the floor as he ran around the corner. You turned walking the other way reaching the opposite end of the large book shelf. Jisung stopped in his tracks turning the other way.
He ran to the back of the shelves with nowhere to turn but the way he came. He calmed his breathing placing his hand on his chest. He checked the path seeing it empty. With a sigh of relief, he picked his headphones up stuffing them in his bookbag. You could see him scrambling around his bag.
You appeared from the shadows brown-heeled boots silent against the navy blue carpet. You stepped closer to the carpet doing you the favor and keeping the clink in your shoes quiet. You stepped closer to him, still not taking notice of your presence. Until he saw your boots, then your legs. His eyes scanned your frame upwards passing your waist and collarbone soon meeting your eyes.
He went to take off but you grabbed the strap of his bookbag yanking him back causing him to stumble onto a bookshelf. His back lay flat and his legs wide holding his balance. He looked up at you worried expression on his face. His book bad starting to fall from his shoulders. You wasted no time trapping him arms holding onto the bookshelf behind him closing him in. You stared deep into his eyes a huff leaving your lips.
"What did you tell Jeno?" you asked chewing on the side of your mouth. Jisung shook his head bringing his hands up in defense.
"Nothing. I swear," he said anxiously his eyes doing their best to maintain contact with yours. You grabbed onto the collar of his hoodie bringing him closer to you. His bookbag fell to the ground in the process. You glared into his eyes nostrils flaring.
"Don't lie to me Jisung. I know you said something. How else would he start to catch on?" you said growing impatient. You didn't want to confront him this way but if Jisung really did tell Jeno anything what choice did you have to get the truth?
He shook his head again. "Y/n I swear I did nothing," he said. Your lips form a tight line. You looked closely into his eyes searching for any sight of hesitation. When you couldn't find anything you let him go letting him hit the book shelf again. You viciously picked his bookbag from the floor placing it on his shoulder. When it touched his shoulder you leaned closer meeting his ear.
"I find out your lying to me I will ruin you," you warned letting the strap fall on his skin. Once it landed you turned around and walked away leaving Jisung alone, in the dark part of the library.
"Do you think he really could have something to do with it?" Wendy asked you as she walked beside you towards a bench at the hockey game. You were no stranger to these games, being Ten is on the team. People knew you were coming to the game. They even created a seat close up just for you. It also drove in a larger crowd. Most people come to see you, maybe even talk to you if they have the chance to.
However, after Si Cheng's little lie, people started to look at you differently. Si Cheng based on the universities ranking was bars below you. If you could pick someone to beneath you then what made you different from them?
This hockey game would be your first public appearance after you decided to not attend the Halloween party. People were waiting to see what you'd do next. They knew you were not one to be played with which is why they kept gossip short and only talked when they had left campus. Most people lost the respect they had for you when the rumors came out. Others fought to not believe such rumors, you'd never choose someone like him to take over your father's business.
Jeno made his way over to you as you made your way to your seat. When you went to sit down there was another girl in your seat. Wendy went up to her tapping her shoulder. "Uh you are in her seat," she commented blankly. The girl turned looking you up and down before she turned back to her friends scoffing, flipping her hair, and laughing with her friends. Wendy gasped a surprised look on her face. She went to launch herself at the girl but you stopped her.
"Wait," you told suddenly pointing at Jeno.
"Let her have the seat," you said loud enough for the girl to her. She turned to her friends sitting beside her ready to defend her. She turned crossing her arms over her chest a small tilt in her head and a smirk on her pink glossed lips. "It's just a chair," you said with a sly smirk feeling Jeno come up behind you.
Jeno would be your ticket back to the top. If you wanted to destroy Yuta, Jaehyun, and Johnny you had to retake your place. Getting the lesser like Doyoung, Mark and the other friends they have would be easier than Jaemin, Haechan, and Yangyang combined. But Jeno, Johnny, Jaehyun, and Yuta were held high at your school. The only way you can get them is if you make it to the top and Jeno was your ticket.
So you'd let him have his fun. Let him think he was controlling you, turning you into his obedient, pretty little girlfriend. Let him think he would be the man you married after university so your father's company would be his. You smirked feeling his hands wrap around your waist and the girls in front of you watching with wide eyes.
Jeno's downfall would be your greatest.
The girl perked up standing in front of the bench. She cleaned the seat with her hands. "I was just keeping it warm for you," she said quietly a fake smile on her lips. She and her friends rushed away. You smiled turning to place a kiss on Jeno's lips catching everyone's attention. Everyone Oooed and cheered for the two of you. When you pulled away you saw how surprised and red Jeno was. Some guy even patted Jeno's back proud of the captain.
You smiled stepping away to take your seat.
"I know your secret," you whispered to Jeno who laid in between your legs. You had left the hockey game once it finished. The Dinosaurs had yet another game this season. Jeno drove you back to your apartment. You invited him upstairs letting him stay for a while. After all, he did want to celebrate your first public appearance, not only for you but for the two of you being a couple.
"What's that?" he asked laying his cheek on your exposed thigh. You let your hand in his hair slowly detangle from his skin.
"You're a virgin," you said softly. You removed your hand from his hair feeling his cheek grow warm on your skin. His eyes widened as he sat up using his arms as balance. He scoffed turning away from you. "I'm not," he protested. You smirked letting out a chuckle and crawling over to him. You wrapped your legs around his waist, and he couldn't help but let his hands roam your bare skin. Molding at your plush thighs for comfort.
"Don't lie baby I know," you said in his ear using one of your hands to wrap around his chest and the other to softly play with his hair. He relaxed under your touch shutting his eyes at the feeling of your nails scratching his scalp. "How?" he hushed your nails putting him in a trance.
"I overheard a few girls. Just talk," you whispered into his ear. He hummed laying his back on your chest. Your hand that wrapped around his body made its way to the hem of his shirt. You played with it silently asking for him to take it off. He listened leaning forward for a moment allowing you to remove his t-shirt. He laid back on your front bare chest rising up and down. His sculpted frame is hot under your touch.
"I can fix that," you whispered in his ear placing a small kiss on his lobe. Your hand glided down his firm chest reaching the waistband of his sweatpants. You pulled back the cloth watching both his face and your hand disappear into his pants. He groaned loudly bucking his hips into your hand. You squeezed his bare cock feeling it get harder into your hand. His hands that gripped your thighs held on tighter his nails digging into your skin. You squeezed him again cupping him in your hand.
He bit his lip becoming fully hard in your palm. "Fuck," he cursed once your hand wrapped around his dick. Fingers gathering his precum and spreading it around his shaft. His slick in your hand coaxing his veiny, thick cock. He let his head fall back in your embrace mouth falling open as you jerked him.
"Fuck baby girl just like that," he moaned biting his lip. You smirked seeing him get all worked up and ready to take you. He let his bottom lip free when you jerked your hand even faster gripping onto the base of his cock to the tip. He rutted his hips into your fist using one of his hands to lower down his pants freeing his dick from its restrains.
"Fuck baby girl I'm gonna cum," he moaned a pornographic moan. Never in his life did a hand job feel so good. You could feel him twitch in your hand making you stop. He groaned frustrated so close to his release all for it to be stolen away by you. His eyes fluttered open readjusting to the light in your dimly lit bedroom.
"Jeno baby," you teased rubbing his shoulder. Again he relaxed into your touch rolling his neck as you rubbed and molded the most tense parts of his body. You leaned into his ear your breath fanning his neck. "Yes," he responded eyelashes dusting his cheeks.
"Let me fix your problem. I know you think about it," you teased with a lick of your teeth. You wrapped yourself around him tighter drawing him back into your embrace. "I know you touch yourself thinking about what it must feel like to be inside a warm, wet, and tight cunt," you kissed his neck feathering his skin with your lashes. He shuddered at the feeling his whole body tense for a moment.
"And I want to give that to you, especially now that I'm your girlfriend, you whispered lips leaving his skin. You pulled your whole body away removing your top completely as we as your bra throwing both pieces of clothing to the side. You laid on your pillows using them to rest on the small of your back. Jeno turned to you lips parted seeing only half of your naked frame on display.
"I want to give you everything," you said slowly spreading your legs apart for him. His jaw dropped instantly falling onto your bed becoming eye level with your glistening pussy. He went to lean forward, just to taste but two of your fingers stopped it pushing his forehead away. You shook your head a slight purse in your lips.
"Not tonight," you said watching him start to feel nervous. Overall Jeno came off as a confident guy. A man with some much to lose but a care in the world. He knows exactly what he wants and knows exactly how he's going to get it. This was something he had always wanted, he just couldn't believe he was going to get it.
After all, he may solely want you because of your father's company but it was still you he'd sleep with. He had to be memorable.
He licked his lips completely removing his sweatpants and boxers both falling off the bed. As he removed his clothes you pulled a condom out from your dresser handing it to him. You ripped it open allowing him to remove it from the package. He placed it around his angry red cock still starved of pleasure and aligned it at your entrance.
You smiled taking his dick in your hands and pushing it inch by inch past your tight hole. You kept yourself together but on the inside your pussy was screaming. Jeno was not only veiny but thick, you felt like your walls would bust. But the stretch was so deliciously amazing you wouldn't even mind it. You could hear your wetness squish agasint the base of his cock that slide inside you. Weighing inside of your body you moved further down just so he'd fit deeper inside you.
Once he rested himself inside you, you tapped his thigh so he could start moving. He did, slowly building up his own pace. His mind blank only thinking of how you felt and his own pleasure. He wanted to move faster completely lose his mind in your tight cunt but he saw the look on your face when he pushed himself fully inside. You winced feeling slight pain by the stretch. So he moved slowly until you said you were ready.
When you gave him the okay he sped up his pace. "Fuck baby," you moaned feeling his cock graze your velvet walls. Your wetness coating his dick, slipping in and out of you. Leaning forward he captured your lips with his. He moaned into your mouth feeling you clench around him. You were still getting used to him being inside you.
You pulled away from his lips head falling back in bliss releasing out an earthy groan erupting from your chest. You felt tingles down to your toes with the reach he had in you. He gripped onto your waist biceps flexing when he quickly rutted his hips into you. His pelvis rubbing against your clit. "Fuck baby girl I'm not gonna last long," He groaned slipping more cursed from his plumped lips. He whimpered feeling you squeeze around him again.
"Cum baby it's okay," you said easing him through his first time. His shut and mouth fell open as he released a series of groans slipping into the condom. You are not too far behind drowning his cock in your slick release. He pulled out slowly. You gasped inhaling for the first time since his entire dick was inside you. He chuckled hair falling onto his forehead body drenched in sweat.
Your body is covered in sweat too. He removed the condom throwing it in the trash. He went to place a kiss on your cheek but you stopped him. You turned to him grabbing his cheek and forcing him to look at you. You smirked a vile look in your eyes.
"Now I own you," you said darkly. He raised a brow trying to break free from your grip. He raised a brow hand coming up to your arm to remove him but it was no use most of his strength drained. "What?" he managed to ask through breaths. "I own you remember?" he told you.
You shook your head sitting up slowly. "You seem to not understand so let me explain it to you," you began.
"You think you know me so well. I'm a spoiled girl whose only purpose in life is to use people for her entertainment. But you're wrong," you say letting him go and throwing his chin. He flexed his jaw hearing a small crack. He turned to you watching you disappear into the bathroom. He waited for a moment seeing you left. He went to open the door but you beat him opening the door wearing one of your red laced robes.
"My father is one of the most powerful men in the world currently and your father is nothing but one of his more accomplished workers with a few gold medals under his belt. But he's nothing like my dad and while that doesn't bother me and could care less about the power, you do," you said eyeing him. You walked over to a small wooden cabinet in the far corner of your room pulling out a small bottle of wine and pouring two cups. You handed Jeno one seeing while you were away he put only his pants back on.
You sipped it and placed it down on your vanity. Jeno held his glass in his hand only bringing it to his lips when you did.
"So?" he commented. "I know your secrets. I could ruin you," he reported defensively.
"And I know your wants," you said calmly with a perk of your brow. "I know what you so truly desire. I also know everything you got to lose how even threatening me is risky for you," you took a pause crossing your arms over your chest. "You like to believe you are at my status but in reality, you are just a boy like your sister and some of your friends who just living off Daddy's money. You not different from us, from me," you said picking up your glass and taking a sip.
"And I know how much that money means to you. Don't make me take it away," you said this time less calm and more stern. You had to drill it in this man's brain that you were serious about this. No way would you let Lee Jeno ruin everything you were walking towards because he had some said rich boy fantasy about becoming even more powerful than he already was.
"What do you want then? For us to break up?" he asked setting his glass down knuckles finally turning back from white to their original color. You shook your head. "No. That remains the same. The only thing I ask is for you to be my pretty, noncurious, little obedient boyfriend," you said with a chuckle. He huffed lips forming a tight line.
"Understand?" you asked. He chewed the inside of his mouth rolling his eyes. He nodded walking over to grab his shirt. "Oh, my lovely," you called back seeing him now fully dressed. "What?" he asked a gruff in his voice.
"Don't tell anyone," you warned nicely. He brushed you off leaving you alone but listened to your demand. You hummed hearing your door lock on the way back to your room. Your dog jumped onto your bed as you put on a movie watching it as you finished your wine. Eyes glued to the screen for about ten minutes before you heard your doorbell ring. You walked over to your front door your dog by your side.
You checked the peephole seeing a familiar boy standing outside your door. You sighed opening the door to a sad Jisung. Your dog almost immediately jumps to greet him at the door. She made him smile for a brief moment before his eyes met yours. He refused to let his eyes wander around your frame only concealed by a red laced robe.
He had more important things to tell you.
You leaned against your front door poking the inside of your mouth with your tongue. "What?" you asked him. He sighed eyes shifting to your eyes.
"I know who's been talking to Jeno. I also know who he plans on spilling to next," he said in a rush. You widened your eyes taking his hand and pulling him inside your apartment the door locking behind him.
Time was slowly starting to run out for you.
Looks like Mark wouldn't have to wait as long as you hoped.

Growing up a street urchin was far from easy, much less, when you’ve just barely turned fourteen. Often spending your nights scrounging the city of Saint Denis for any sort of food or shelter, only to get spit on and degraded as soon as the sun rose the next morning. You could count on one hand the amount of meals you’ve had in a month. Like most orphaned kids, having to turn to thievery as a means of survival.
Usually, you could get away with it all, growing a knack for pickpocketing. It was easiest to pick off the stupid or the drunk, but they didn’t always have the most money on their persons. When you got particularly desperate, you’d snatch someone’s coin purse and just pray you could outrun the lawmen. Taking shelter in whatever crack or crevice you could slink your nimble body into.
Naturally, when you saw a group of strange individuals one evening, wandering around the streets of Saint Denis, bickering about the lifestyle of the folk living here, you thought you struck oil. They all stuck out like a sore thumb between the whores and the rich pricks. Your eyes picked over each and every outfit, taking specific note of the worn, leather satchel, strung across one of the taller gentlemans’ torsos. Surely these folks had something to offer?
While you hadn’t been taught to read nor write, you were smart and resourceful. Yet, in that same instance, desperate for anything. It had been a couple days since you'd last eaten; having to hide out in an old alley in that time to avoid the hunt across Saint Denis that had been sparked against “that little street urchin robbing folk”. You didn’t want to imagine what would happen to you if you got caught– from lawmen to regular civilians– to you, they were all bad.
Watching. Waiting. Hiding behind whatever objects you could with your eyes locked on that one goal– the man’s satchel. You could practically feel the leather underneath your fingertips. The indents of the coins inside. Unfortunately, you got careless and sloppy. Feeling your blood run cold as soon as the group started to head back to their horses, all tied to an old hitch rail, you knew your time was limited before there would be more eyes on you than you could count.
Rushing out from your hiding spot and weaving your way through the group, only to finally get your dirt caked hands onto that satchel. Digging your fingers around it firmly and tugging, pulling it from the man in just two short pulls. You were surprised that the strap had snapped. Staring at the satchel now in hand, it took only a few milliseconds to register what it is you had just done, before you actually gathered your bearings and took off running.
“Damn it, kid!” you hear a gruff voice shout from behind you, but you don’t stop. Your bare feet hitting the rough, cobblestone road below, listening to the scuffing of several boots behind you. You were used to the chase. It was damn exhilarating, practically feeling the adrenaline rushing through your veins.
You thought you had made it away successfully. No longer did you hear the bickering nor shouting of angry men and women as you ran from them. That was, until you hit something akin to a wall, knocking you off your feet and right onto your ass on the pavement below. Instinctively, you clutch the satchel to your chest like your life depends on it. Panting heavily as you look up at what stopped you.
A strangely stressed man with a weird scar on the right side of his jaw and cheek, interrupting the growth of his facial hair. His face was contorted into a scowl, his chest heaving just as yours was. You could hear a few more people approaching quickly, and you could only imagine they were a part of the same group the man was. Your wide eyes don’t leave his own.
“Gimme the damn bag,” the man demands. His voice sounding hoarse and breathless as he glares down at you like you were nothing more than scum underneath his boot. Stubbornly, you shake your head. He didn’t like that in the slightest. He crouches down to your height and yanks the collar of your shirt, pulling you face to face with himself.
“I ain’t askin’, brat. Gimme the damn bag or I swear I’ll–” the man is interrupted by another, but you’re too focused on the man grabbing you to look away. The satchel clutched tightly to your boney chest. “Let the boy go, John. He ain’t hurtin’ anyone..” the new man sighs, placing a hand on the man’s shoulder, whom you now know is John.
John looks over his shoulder towards the other man, he looks quite a bit older than John, you note. Reluctantly, John scoffs and lets you go with a shove to your chest, standing back up again and folding his arms over his chest.
Instead of demanding the satchel from you, the older man digs around in his pocket for a brief moment before pulling out a roll of banknotes. Flipping through them as he counts mentally. Cautiously extending them down to you as if you were rabid. Your eyes flick down to the money, then down to the leather satchel in hand, before up into the old man’s eyes. He looks sincere and gentle. Something you’re quite not used to. Either run the risk of having the satchel be empty and keep it, or take the money from the man and run the risk of passing up a large sum.
You hesitate for a long moment, making the group grow impatient and groan, silently demanding you to make a choice. The man’s gentle gaze never wavers from you, showing you that it’s okay to take your time. Sighing heavily, you tentatively reach up in an attempt to try and take the money from the man, only for him to pull it away from you.
“Satchel first,” he says quietly as he extends his free hand to take it. He was wise, you note. Possibly assuming you would take both and run off. You huff through your nose before roughly setting the satchel into the man’s hand. Grinning warmly, he sets the roll of banknotes down into your lap. “Arthur,” he says gruffly as he stands back up with a small groan. His movements are stiff and uncomfortable, probably due to age. A third man with longer, sandy blond hair– Arthur, snatches his bag out of the older gentleman’s hand, earning a hearty chuckle from the man.
You inspect the roll closely. It’s almost hard to believe he just..offered it to you. No doubt it was to pay you off, but you had never earned anything that wasn’t stolen before. You look back up at the man in confusion as his friends walk back down the street to their horses. Slowly rising to your feet and clasping your new money protectively to your chest. The pockets on your overalls having long fallen off.
“What’s your name, boy?” the man inquires as he looks down at you. Your eyes narrow as you look back up at him. You didn’t trust this in the slightest. People weren’t nice to you, that’s just not how things were. The man sighs and looks over your head to where his group is retreating into the saloon.
“Fine. I’ll start. My name is Hosea Matthews, and you are-?” He, Hosea, trails off. Looking back down at you encouragingly. You grumble strings of profanity under your breath and look away from him, your trust issues on full display. Closing yourself off as you cross your arms over your chest, your money still clutched protectively in one of your hands.
“Y/N..” you mumble, shuffling uncomfortably underneath Hosea’s warm gaze. It felt crushing. Having been left without care or guidance for so long, any sort of kindness was foreign.
“Atta boy!” Hosea praises with a chuckle, slowly reaching forward and ruffling your greasy hair through his bony fingers. You scowl as you stare up at Hosea underneath your eyelashes. “How old’re you, Y/N?” he asks calmly, entirely unfazed by your piercing eyes as he pulls his hand back.
“You ask too many questions, old man.” you bark, taking a step away from Hosea. It’s not that you didn’t want the kindness, far from it actually. You just didn’t know what to do with it. You were never taught proper manners or politeness. No mother to teach you how to read nor write. No father to teach you to hunt nor shoot. It’s always been just you.
Hosea, however, finds great amusement in your outburst. Grinning widely as he takes a knee in front of you, getting down to your eye level. Pressing his palms into the denim of his jeans over his knees.
“Can’t say I disagree with that.” He muses with a chuckle. His eyes flick over your scrawny form entirely. Picking apart your mud and sweat stained shirt, underneath your tattered and torn denim overalls, of which he can only assume used to be blue. He can practically see your bones due to not eating properly, and it only makes him feel sympathetic to you.
“Listen, kid. You got potential and I know we ain’t exactly..acquainted, so to speak- but what’d you say if i offered you a good meal everyday and a place to sleep?” Hosea asks abruptly, causing you to grow even more confused. What did this guy want from you? There was no way in hell he was just..offering these things to you, right?
Seeing your reasonable apprehension, he continues. “I can- I can talk to Dutch and get everything situated if you’d like?” he suggests hopefully, to which your eyes widen with a realization. Dutch.. Where have you heard that name before?
“Dutch?” you echo, allowing him to nod in confirmation. “Heard the name before, I reckon? Dutch Van Der Linde?” Hosea inquires, cocking his head to the side as he studies your reaction, a grin playing across his chapped lips.
You swallow thickly and nod hesitantly. Dutch is well known around Saint Denis. Horror stories being told amongst townsfolk of the atrocities their gang has done. In that moment, you felt a mixture of confusion and fear. You regret attempting to steal from an outlaw; from Arthur– known for being so closely tied with Dutch himself. Yet all of this begs the question:
“What do you want with me..?” you mumble, feeling your heart race nervously in his chest. It was strange. Usually, it only beat like that after getting chased by the law. Standing here now, in front of Hosea, you felt a conflicting tsunami of emotions crashing inside you. Beginning to mindlessly fidget with the money in hand.
“Like I said, boy. You got potential to be a fine young man. We could use that around camp, y’know. You’d still have to work like the rest of us, but you’ll be fed ‘n cared for.” Hosea grins, carefully reaching forward and placing a supportive hand onto your shoulder. His thumb gently rubbing over your shoulder.
His touch was foreign to you. His kindness was like no other. You’d never admit it, but for the first time in your life, you felt like you actually had a father. While not trusting this strange, new man entirely, you couldn’t deny the innate curiosity to check out what this “camp” has to offer. Maybe it’d beat living out on the streets, vulnerable to the elements. Tentatively, you nod.
Hosea chuckles as he stands back up straight, his joints audibly cracking with each movement. He moves his hand back into your hair, ruffling it once more before walking off, silently telling you to follow. Walking next to him, you’re nervous and tense– a stark contrast to his calm demeanor, as if he’s done this before.
This was an incredibly stupid idea, you think, one of your most yet. Despite this, you allow him to help you mount his horse. Shifting uncomfortably atop the saddle as he takes his seat right in front of you before taking off. Startled, you wrap your arms around his waist tightly, your cheek pressed against Hosea’s back, earning an amused chuckle from him.
“Scared?” He teases, to which you shake your head subtly. He can feel your racing heartbeat against his back, it’s clear to him you’ve never ridden a horse before. With one hand on the reins, he moves the other down to your arms around his waist. His calloused hand rubbing up and down your forearm soothingly, careful to not nudge your bankrolls and make you think he’s trying to take them back.
The ride from Saint Denis and through some old woods is mostly silent. The various sounds in the surrounding environment is the only thing heard. Sounds of wildlife, occasional gunfire and screams, the horses’ hooves trotting against the dirt path below, paved by the past voyages of many. Taking in the different foliage, you only wish you could keep those flowers burned into your memory forever.
Hosea slows his horse as they approach a small clearing. Grumbling a small “sit tight” as he carefully dismounts his horse, leaving you sat on his saddle in confusion. Your eyes watching over his every move closely. His boots brush aside different weeds and plants until he crouches down, looking over his shoulder towards you.
“You see this, kid?” He chimes as he gestures to a strange plant amidst the rest of the foliage. Having small clusters of red berries over it’s large leaves. Without waiting for your response, he continues. “Ginseng. Good for a buncha shit.” he clarifies confidently. Digging his knee into the dirt as he grabs the plant by the base, attempting to tug it up but with no success.
Huffing as he pulls his hand back from the plant, digging his thumb into his sore palm as he looks back over his shoulder towards you. Taking the hint, you hop down from Hosea’s horse. Stuffing your money into his saddlebags for safekeeping before shuffling over towards him.
Crouching down just like Hosea, you wrap your whole hand around the base. Only to have him gently guide your hand down to the very bottom, closest to the roots and the dirt below. With his guidance, you start to tug on it. Your hands shake from the force until eventually, the roots snap free. Sending you backwards and right back down onto your ass in the dirt.
Looking down at the plant in your, now sore, hand, a satisfied grin spreads across your face. Hosea laughs as he pats your back. “Good job, son! Ain’t seen one that big in a long while” he praises before slowly standing back up, helping you up as well.
It felt..oddly nice. Being called son. Having some sort of father figure in your life. Instead of getting pissed off like you normally would’ve, you can’t help but to share Hosea’s sentiment. You’re proud of yourself. You had never even considered harvesting such things before, as Saint Denis isn’t exactly known for its foliage. Glancing back up towards Hosea brightly, offering him the ginseng plant.
“How’d you know what it- y’know- was.. I guess?” you ask curiously as he takes the plant from you, walking right back over to his horse and placing it into his saddlebags. “Been ‘round quite a long time, kiddo. You learn a couple things over the years.” Hosea responds with a soft chuckle. Briefly inspecting his palm before offering to help you back up onto the horse, which you accept gratefully.
“Can you teach me ‘bout all that stuff, Hosea?” He nods eagerly. It was a hassle trying to teach Arthur about the medicinal value of different herbs and plants. He was glad someone was taking interest in it. He was unsure of just how long he had left, after all. Mounting his horse and sitting in front of you once again as you take off.
It’s a long while until you make it to, what you can only presume is, Hosea’s camp. All sorts of tents, wagons, horses, and people around a large clearing between the trees. Practically starry eyed as you looked over it all. Yet, unfortunately, everyone else didn’t share the same sentiment.
While not stopping their tasks, you could feel their eyes boring holes into your skin, only serving to make you nervous. Following in Hosea’s shadow as you dismount his horse once more. Having him pull out a few strange objects, the ginseng, and your money, before another gang member approaches and takes his horse. The man seemed timid, much like you felt, but you tried to be the strong-headed boy everyone wanted you to be.
Hosea is confident in each and every step. Unwavering under the stares of his colleagues. Marching right up to one of the open tents, with you following behind like a lost puppy. Your eyes flick across the interior as Hosea begins to speak with the man, whom you can only assume to be the owner. Taking in everything you can before you finally look up to meet the man. None other than Dutch Van Der Linde himself.
You could feel yourself shrink in his presence. He wasn’t as scary nor demonic as people made him out to be, but his stature was intimidating no less. You could hear Hosea speaking to him, trying to convince him to let you stay, but his words were jumbled to you. All you can focus on were Dutch’s eyes. It was as if they held no emotion behind them whatsoever. His expression remaining stoic as he looks down towards you, hiding behind Hosea’s leg, before back up to his co-founder.
Utter silence. You couldn’t tell what was running through the man's head in that moment, but Hosea seemed to be able to read him like a book. The only response Dutch gives is an exasperated “fine,” much to Hosea’s surprise.
Hosea beams as he gently ushers you forth into Dutch’s direct line of sight, his hands gently on your shoulders as if a proud father. You give a sheepish wave with your free hand, your other clutching your roll of banknotes tightly– almost too tightly. Hosea’s hands reassure you slightly, but not enough. He introduces you to both Dutch and anyone around to listen.
As much as they distrust you, some of them can’t help but notice how similar you are to them when they were kids. Namely, John and Arthur. Picked up by Hosea off the streets, introduced to Dutch, and given the closest thing any of them call home.
Naturally, over time, everyone grew closer. No longer suspicious of you being an O’Driscoll in disguise, treating you as one of their own. Learning all sorts of new things from the only man you could ever know as your father, Hosea Matthews.
He would reassure you on those lonesome nights where the thoughts ran rampant through your head. Holding you close to his chest and letting you cry it all out until you, inevitably, fall asleep right in his arms in his bedroll. You were his pride and joy ever since his dear Bessie passed on. He could only focus on giving you the world as much as he was able.

Baizhu x Reader (Arranged Marriage)
I know this is a bit (lot) different to what I normally post on this account, but I am a SUCKER for arranged marriages in fanfic, so I am choosing to disregard my sagau roots (not permanently dw) It’s a bit out of my comfort zone, but I really hope it comes out well :)
Contains - You getting injured, you and baizhu having beef (enemies to lovers fr), you and baizhu not realising that you are engaged to each other, arranged marriage (duh) your dad kinda sucks tbh
It took you rolling your ankle to realise how bad an idea climbing a mountain unprepared was. Granted, when you had started climbing the mountain, you had thought you were prepared. Your clothing was (somewhat) practical, you had stolen a pair of your father’s shoes that he used when hiking and you had found a nice leather satchel to hold your snacks and hand shovel.
It had been fine at first, nothing more than a pleasant hike, with bird chirping and a soft breeze whistling through the trees. But with every step you took, the path became steeper, the sun became hotter and the god-damned shoes you bothered from your father hurt more. They had seemed a bit large when you first put them on, but now it felt like you were going to trip over them with every step.
Your clothes weren’t faring much better. Your good, practical clothing had caught on nearly every single branch and shrub you passed. You would have to hide them when you got home, because you did not want to have to explain to your parents exactly how your clothing got so tattered and torn. The only things that hadn’t let you down was the satchel and your snacks, although the snacks were long gone now, despite not even reaching the top of the mountain.
Looking back on the moment, it seemed almost like one of those comedy performances, that wandering artisans performed in the town square. It was ironic, truly, how quickly everything fell apart. A single stone in your path, that you hadn’t even noticed until you were stepping on it. Your father’s shoes skidded off it, causing your ankle to twist painfully and send you careening into a nearby bush, your shirt tearing even more as the branches scraped your skin.
And there you lay, facedown in a bush in the middle of nowhere, close to the peak of a nearly abandoned mountain trail, with nothing but a satchel and a sprained ankle.
All of this for a fucking flower.
It was silly, you were aware of that. Your mother had told you stories about a kind of flower that only grew on this particular mountain, whose petals formed a distinctive heart shape, and which was said to bless whoever received one with true love. It was cheesy, yes, but that didn’t stop many young men and women from climbing the mountain in order to pick them for their fiances. But as the years passed, the flowers became more and more sparse, thanks to the droves of hopeless romantics picking them all. And now, they are said to only be found at the very top of the mountain, where the lovers were too scared to climb.
You didn’t even know if Baizhu liked flowers.
You’d never met him, which was surprising considering how long he’d been a client of your father. Your father, a renowned supplier of medicinal herbs, was thrilled when Baizhu first began working with him. Prior to that, all his business had been to local doctors and healers, but having a client in far-away Liyue Harbor excited him, especially a doctor of such a stellar reputation.
You almost felt like you did know him, with how much your father talked about Baizhu. Every shipment of goods that was requested meant another long monologue over the dining table about how fortunate he was to have such a consistent and well-paying client. You almost asked your father if HE wanted to marry Dr Baizhu, but you thankfully refrained.
You knew your father had been dropping hints to Baizhu for a while now, about how he hoped his child would be married soon, about how Baizhu surely must be so lonely without a spouse, about how Baizhu really just felt like he was part of the family already. What you hadn’t expected was for Baizhu to accept.
And now, here you were, a week out from your wedding and nearly passed out on the side of a road, trying to get that god-damned flower.
There was no way that the situation could get any worse.
“Oh dear! Are you alright?”
Or maybe it could.
You truly had the worst luck. How was it that during the most embarrassing moment of your life, a person had to appear? This was an abandoned trail!
“Please … just leave me here. I’m already contemplating my life choices and regretting the actions I’ve taken to get here, my pride can’t take another hit.”
“I really… can’t just leave you here, you know that, right?” The voice, which you could now identify as male, sounded like it was trying to hold back laughter, while also truly sounding concerned.
“I assure you, you can. Please do. Keep continuing on your way.”
There was silence for a moment, and you almost allowed yourself to hope that whoever this man was had left, until you felt a pair of hands grab your shoulders and pull you out of the bush, depositing you in a rather undignified heap on the ground.
“My sincerest apologies about your pride. Are you injured?”
You sighed and made your best effort to fix your hair, attempting to look less like you just fell into a bush. Your saviour had the audacity to look perfectly put together, with barely a hair out of place, despite having just hiked the same distance as you. Though he also looked far more prepared, with shoes that actually fit and an entire bag filled with supplies.
“Only the aforementioned pride and my ankle,” You sighed, looking down at the already bruised and swollen skin, then up at the nearly vertical path ahead of you.
“I truly hope you don’t plan on continuing to climb with that ankle of yours?” He questioned, squatting down to get a better view at your injury, laying a gentle hand upon it.
You chose to ignore the question, still hoping to find a way to get to the top of the mountain, instead taking the opportunity to stare at the man. He had the most intriguing golden eyes, with slitted pupils like a snake, which were sharply fixed on your ankle.
“Your lack of a response speaks wonders, so let me rephrase. You will not be continuing to climb with that ankle of yours.” His eyes met yours, looking for any argument.
“And how do you plan to stop me?”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For a man who initially seemed so polite, he sure had a way of getting on your nerves. You’d spent the first 10 minutes of him carrying you back down the mountain (over his shoulder!) trying to convince him to put you down and when that hadn’t worked, you’d settled on silent treatment. But even that was testing your patience, you’d become tired of watching the sun creep towards the horizon, of listening to the birds singing up above, of resisting the urge to ask him what hair products he used to make his hair so silky.
“So…”
“Oh, you want to make conversation now? Finally given up on ignoring me?” He laughed at you, making you grit your teeth.
“Alright, I get it! You’re acting in my best interests by not letting me continue climbing the mountain, you don’t have to act all high and mighty about it!” You cut your angry tirade off with an annoyed huff, turning your face away from him.
“Why were you even climbing up there to begin with? It’s certainly not a beginners trail.”
“Oh, uhm, you know…”
“I certainly don’t know, which is why I’m asking you, but I appreciate the faith you have in thinking I can read your mind.”
You smacked his shoulder once, then a second time when you noticed he was laughing.
“But seriously… why?” He turned to face you, eyes searching your face for some sort of answer, before sighing and turning back towards the path.
You were silent for a long moment before remembering that this man had seen you half-knocked out in a bush on the side of a road. Your dignity was long gone.
“Don’t mock me for it, but I was going to try and find one of those flowers…”
“The True Love’s Bloom?”
“Yes and don’t you dare make fun of me for this, I get married in a week and I’m emotionally sensitive.”
“I wouldn’t dream of hurting your feelings and anyway, that’s what I was looking for as well.“
It took you a moment for it to sink it, before you turned to look at him.
“Really? I didn’t take you for the romantic type. Which poor soul got roped into marrying you?”
“I could say the same to you. Here I was, being nice to you and you repay it by insulting me? I’ll have you know, I was the one who got roped in. I think I would’ve had assassins sent after me if I refused one more time.”
You laughed and turned back around, but as you did, a small alcove in the nearby rock caught your eye. It was becoming darker by the second, but even with the fading light you could make out the shape of…
“Over there!”
The man paused and gave a sigh.
“This better not be a ploy to get me to put you down, so that you can do something potentially life endangering again.”
“The flowers! Over there!”
He turned his head and gave a small laugh of surprise as he spotted them too.
“Well, what do you know? Maybe being forced to carry you back down this hill was a blessing in disguise?” He wandered over to the sheltered patch of dirt, where, hidden from most prying eyes, were two perfect flowers.
He placed you down next to them and began rummaging through his bag, pulling out two shovels.
“I’ll have you know that I actually brought a shovel, I don’t need your equipment!”
“Really, how surprising. Did you bring a pot as well?”
“...”
“...”
“... can I borrow one of yours?”
“Well, I’ll have YOU know…”
And as your bickering echoed across the mountaintop, bringing life to the abandoned trails of a once vibrant mountain, the flowers almost seemed to grow just a little bit more.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Baizhu, what’s that flower sitting over by the window? I’ve never seen anything like it before?”
“Ah Traveler, you have a good eye! It’s called True Love’s Bloom. However, those are actually two flowers. My spouse and I planted them in the same pot when we got married all those years ago and they have grown together over time, becoming so intertwined we can’t separate them. I like to keep them close to me at work, to remind me of my dearest.”
“Your spouse? I didn’t know you were married!”
“You didn’t? I could’ve sworn I had mentioned it? Well then, I shall have to tell you the story of how we met. It all started with them stupidly trying to climb a mountain…”
Guys, this was so much longer than I intended wtf. This was supposed to be a SHORT STORY to go with two other arranged marriage stories. I seriously need to throw my plans out the window at this point. Anyway, I love writing sassy characters, even though im shit at banter, so hopefully this is good/funny?
