I ran through the book quickly to see what you meant, and did you mean this?

I dove into the code to see what had happened and I think the next line is supposed to be this:

I think what likely happened is he forgot to code it (or mistyped) to go to this line for Leah the way he did for Lamuel 🤔

I had... a really hard time pinning down a Tarvek. Loki would be good, but I feel uncomfortable shipping him with Kate, while David? He actually IS a genius. I can see him geeking out over the Muses, and Van Rijn’s notes, and the Sheer Politics of the family. Sure, he and Cassie don’t look like they could be related, but hey, maybe Cass is adopted.

Also I’m very okay with Noh/Kate/David? I haven’t considered it before, but yes.

Does anyone crackship Vanamonde with Von Zinzer? Because that’s where Teddy (green-skinned blond, above) and Billy (red cape and Magic Hands, above) are for me.

Teddy Altman as Von Zinzer. He’s overwhelmed, and keeps getting pulled into shit he is in no way ready for. (Skrull-Kree wars, Castle Heterodyne, what’s the difference?)

Billy Kaplan as Vanamonde. He’s part of a family with a long history in certain roles, and in some ways, he definitely lives up to it, while straying in others. He’s also just... a massive fanboy. (Fanboying over heroes or fanboying over Heterodynes, what’s the diff?)

Jonas (not pictured above, can be found here) as Ottilia. It would fit the whole body to machine consciousness transfer element.

Also risking his life to save people he doesn’t even really like, because there’s a duty and responsibility there.

22-year-old man sentenced to life behind bars for murdering 3 people in downtown Lawrence

LAWRENCE, Kan. — A 22-year-old Topeka man was sentenced to life in prison after being convicted of killing three people in downtown Lawrence.

Anthony Laron Roberts Jr., was sentenced Thursday in the October 2017 shootings that killed 22-year-old Leah Elizabeth Brown, of Shawnee; 20-year-old Colwin Lynn Henderson III, of Topeka; and 24-year-old Tre’Mel Dupree Dean-Rayton, of Topeka.

The Lawrence Journal-World reports two other men were shot but survived. Brown was the only victim who didn’t know anyone involved.

Two co-defendants, Ahmad Malik Rayton and Dominque Jacquez McMillon, both of Topeka, pleaded to lesser charges earlier this year.

The shooting started with a fistfight between two groups of Topeka men who had previous confrontations and ended when more than 20 shots were fired.

Man convicted in 2017 shooting that killed 3 in downtown Lawrence

LAWRENCE, Kan. — A man was convicted Tuesday in a shooting that killed three people in a popular downtown area of a Kansas college town.

Anthony Roberts Jr., 22, of Topeka, was found guilty of two counts of first-degree felony murder, one count of second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder, the Lawrence Journal-World reports .

Deputy District Attorney David Melton said Roberts opened fire in October 2017 after he and his friends confronted a group of other Topeka men with whom they had “bad blood” as crowds were leaving bars, concerts and other events on the main downtown Lawrence street.

But Roberts’ attorneys argued that he acted in self-defense and was legally openly carrying a gun with an extended magazine before the shooting.

“Anthony and his friends are being pummeled, and Anthony’s about to be next,” said Joshua Seiden, one of two defense attorneys representing Roberts. “Anthony saw guns being drawn, he had no time to think, and he reacted. Anthony drew his gun, a 9-millimeter Glock. To protect his friends and to protect himself, Anthony fired that Glock.”

The gunfire killed 22-year-old Leah Brown, of Shawnee; 20-year-old Colwin Lynn Henderson, of Topeka; and 24-year-old Tre’Mel Dupree Dean-Rayton, of Topeka. Two others were wounded but survived. Brown was the only victim who knew no one else involved.

But Douglas County District Attorney Charles Branson urged jurors not to excuse Roberts’ action as self-defense. He said forensic testing showed all 15 9mm shell casings left behind in the area were fired by Roberts’ Glock 26.

“There was no self-defense in this case,” he said. “There simply was murder.”

A second defendant was convicted previously of attempted voluntary manslaughter, and a third of misdemeanor battery.

Sentencing is set for Aug. 1. The maximum sentence is life imprisonment.

Third suspect charged in connection to Lawrence shooting where three were killed

LAWRENCE, Kan. — Lawrence police say a third suspect is under arrest, and is the first suspect facing first-degree murder in a deadly shooting that happened on Massachusetts Street on October 1. U.S. Marshals arrested Anthony Laron Roberts Jr., 20, on Wednesday in Kansas City, Mo.

Once Roberts is extradited to Douglas County, he’ll be booked on charges that include one count of first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree murder and one count of attempted second-degree murder. FOX 4 has requested his booking photo, but given that a federal agency arrested him, we may not get one until he’s booked in Kansas.

On Tuesday, authorities said that Ahmad Malik Rayton, 22, of Topeka, Kansas, was charged with attempted second-degree murder and armed criminal possession of a firearm by a felon. Dominique Jaquez McMillon, 19, also of Topeka, was charged with aggravated assault and battery.

Police believe the suspects were in an argument shortly before the shooting at about 2 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 1. Police heard gunshots from the police department, which is less than a block away from the shooting scene at 11th and Massachusetts. When they arrived moments later, they found five people hit by gunfire. Three of the victims died.

A 28-year-old Topeka man was treated and released for his injuries, and a 19-year-old Topeka man was also hit but expected to recover.

“We do not believe this is a random act of violence. In fact, we believe it stemmed from a physical altercation just before,” Captain Brixius said at the time of the shooting.

Police confirmed that none of the shooting victims are KU students.

Police requested anyone with any photos, videos, or any information to contact Lawrence Police, Crimestoppers, police say they’ve also been taking information through their social media accounts.

“This is actually my first time back on Mass,  two weeks ago since the shooting, and it hasn’t been easy being on Mass since then,” the woman said.

“At first I heard that there was nobody in custody and nobody was caught. You know you saw people, bodies drop and it wasn’t an easy sight,” she said. “I had to walk back to my place so it’s a relief knowing that there’s people that are suspects and that are caught.”

A memorial has been placed at the intersection to honor the innocent victims.
