Sometimes in the middle of chaos, you just need to edit back and put your feet up. My comfy little boots are all beat up and stained! They're worn down from being worn so much! There obviously loved and lived in, and to me that makes them beautiful. To others that may just make them ugly. I'm sitting here watching my biological father sleep. So far I've watched my sister feed him (which is why she was doing when I arrived this morning, just before she left), I've helped him with drinking some pepsi, shifting his arms around, and scratching his back. He can't move his arms much at all, or use them for anything. His legs are still very immobile, though he has a physical therapist cone in every day! His name is Bob, and he's vey kind. I've written in his journal what we're waiting on, which is ct scans of his brain and neurology to come speak with us, as well as wound care to come check on his left arm since it's become infected as well, and all his bloodwork to come back from labs. Right now he's napping, and I'm tempted to nap as well. I'm already so exhausted! I'm waiting on my own neurologist to call me back, as she left a personal message on my voicemail to call her back asap about my spinal mri results. I already know the outcome... I looked them up on the results page in my online account. But I hope she has a referral or an approach to the problems, becauseI have no idea how we take care of my back. At least for now I am just going to sit in wait, in my dirty worn down boots. Watching my worn out sick father sleeping. Knowing he's been awful to me my whole life, but now he needs some compassion. Now he needs help. And I'm not a total asshole, and without this conspiracy theorist weirdo, I wouldn't have my family. My brothers, sisters, nieces, or nephews. So I am here to help him get better! For those whoI love who still love him and want to see him return home. Because we all have our comforts, and though he's not one of mine, he's important to those I love. He's a comfort to others.
