WE HAVE A FULL CAST!

With that being said, the MAIN PAGE has officially been updated to reflect these changes!  The CHARACTER TAG is now newly updated with complete bios and updated character cards for our new characters, as well as our CAST page!  Make sure to check things out and get acquainted!

Further information and updates will slowly begin to be rolled out tomorrow, with the official road trip start date being scheduled for SATURDAY, AUGUST 5!  FINALLY!  THE DRAMA IS HEADED OUR WAY, PEEPS.

To everyone here, thank you so much for hanging out with us.  We’re so, so excited to finally get things started.  STAY TUNED.

ATTENTION PASSENGERS:

As has been discussed prior, the RP cannot officially begin until all roles have been cast.  However, that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun in the meantime.  And so, here is our very first OPTIONAL TASK.

With so much time on the road, so much time in your own head, you might want to be careful with what you choose to do (or not do).

Your OPTIONAL TASK this time around is to do something that your character could potentially REGRET during some point during the trip.  

As you know, every action most definitely bears its consequences, so you might want to be careful what your character does next.  That’s all up to you.  This can be done in the form of text messages, self-paras, or paras with other players.  

The world (or the dashboard) is your oyster.

If you choose to complete the task, please make sure to tag it with #ldtask!

YOU’RE OFFICIALLY HITTING THE ROAD!

Today’s August 5, which means today is the day that the friends are embarking on the beginning of their road trip!  While the final destination is still to be announced, today, they are headed for TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA by way of SAINT AUGUSTINE - home of Potter’s Wax Museum, because apparently that’s where Olive’s most precious priorities lay.

As for the DASH, interactions that you are currently involved are absolutely more than welcome to continue on as normal, but new interactions (face-to-face, text messages, Instagram posts, starter chats, et cetera) are highly encouraged as well.  After all, they’re going to be in cars together for a few hours today - so what are they doing?  What’s going on?  Who are they talking to?  What are they talking about?

...and most importantly, how are they going to decide who’s sitting where?

PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR SUBMIT BOXES ARE TURNED ON.  WHEN POSTING YOUR LETTERS WITH ANY REACTIONS YOUR CHARACTERS MAY HAVE, PLEASE TAG THEM WITH LDLETTERS!  (( Letters will be sent and posted momentarily! ))

With her hands trembling, Eliza Lange looked down at each address that had been written down for her years before, when Olive Graff had given her the very first set of letters.  Yes, that’s right.  The first set of letters.  Over the course of the next six months, there would be more, more, more.  More than Eliza knew what to do with.

She’d categorized them and sorted them all, paying close attention to the dates that Olive left for her so she would know exactly when to drop them off and where to leave them, how to get them where they needed to go.

“You’re sure they all still live here?”  Cinna Monroe was sitting in the driver’s seat of his Jeep, giving her a few glances as they made their way through the small town streets of Shallow Creek, Georgia.

“Olive used to tell me a thousand times, if you’re old, and you’re here?  You don’t leave.  This is where they are.”

He sat a little stiffer at the mention of Olive’s name, but he nodded a moment later.  “So.  Which house is first?”

HELLO, EVERYONE!

First and foremost, WELCOME TO ONE LONG DRIVE!  We are so excited to have you here and we are so excited to get started with the roleplay VERY SOON!

First things first, all pages have now been updated with our new cast members taken into account!  You can find information about your characters here and here, so make sure to take a look!

Secondly, we will truly “get the ball rolling,” so to speak, with this game once we have ALL ROLES FILLED!

Currently, we are looking for our SQUAD LEADER and our FREE SPIRIT.  As soon as we get those roles closed and cast, we can hit the road and the fun can really start!

In the mean time, please feel free to post starters, muses for your character, drabbles, flashbacks, and plot with your fellow players to figure out where you want to go from here on out.  

Your characters are MORE THAN WELCOME to start posting and chatting with each other!  (( Just know that the road trip has not started yet, and more information will be posted in the coming days! ))

HAVE FUN!  I can’t wait to work with you all, and I know Admin K can’t, either!
