@lcylines may be able to answer some questions
“Was it normal for the Royal Family to know the families of their knights... ?”
The question was posed softly, carefully, even as Link’s gaze rose to meet with that of his princess. She sat on the other side of the fire that crackled between them, blankets pulled over their shoulders so as to ward off whatever remained of the night’s chill. It was not the cold that was on Link’s mind, however, on this summer’s evening.
No, the matter which plagued his thoughts had to do with the real question that his inquiry, the one that he hadn’t the courage to ask truthfully: did Zelda remember his family? Did Zelda remember his father, his mother, any siblings that he might have had a century ago? Did she know their faces, their names, if they had been living before the calamity had befallen?
Did Zelda remember what he still could not?

@lcylines has a visitor
One would have thought that he would have felt at home in such a place, but it was quite the opposite. The shade hadn’t known what to expect when he’d slipped through the crack, using the shadows as a method of travel that one he had access to, but it certainly hadn’t been... this. The wraith found himself within a sanctum of some type, a room that no doubt had been glorious at one time, but now appeared to be in quite the opposite state. The entire room seemed as if it were barely holding together, like it was ready to crumble at any moment...
Though he would have been unable to feel pain, the shadow was careful in stepping around the pulsating masses of black and red, feeling rather uneasy at the sight of it. Its colouring reminded the shade of himself, a fact which was more disturbing than he wanted to admit. Something in his being whispered that he should leave, that this was not a place for even one such as himself, and yet...
Curiosity kept him there, crimson eyes drawn up to a symbol that the shade knew well. Though blackened, as if the monument itself had been corrupted, he recognized the emblem of Hyrule’s royal family. Whether it had always looked as such, or if the triangular construct had been changed by the substance that surrounded it, the wraith didn’t know, but suspicions rose in the back of his mind.
Surely, he couldn’t have been standing in Hyrule Castle... ? And if so... what had happened here... ?

@lcylines liked for a starter
People didn’t usually come this far up the mountain; it was part of the reason that she hid up here in the first place. Between the cold and the creatures that made their homes amongst the frigid landscape, Wynn hadn’t much to worry about as far as humans were concerned. Life was hard up here, but livable for a lycan - a little lonely, but livable.
The discovery of a camp inside one of the caverns that she frequented was, therefore, a surprise. The scent of a human covered everything, from the bedrolls laid out on the cavern floor, to the fire pit, though the latter was mixed with the scent of soot from a fire that had only recently been put out. Where was the owner of all this? Out looking for food, perhaps?
She should have left truthfully, and instinct told the werewolf as much, but... Wynn was curious, admittedly. Humans came up here so seldom... and a single human wouldn’t give her, a lycanthrope, too much trouble...
Such was her thought process as Wynn’s snout found its way into a bag, sniffing at the contents inquisitively. Perhaps she could find a reason for the human’s visit if she investigated some...
