It had been a beautiful day most of the day, Loki had decided to take you out into Asgard's market for the day, allowing you the opportunity to observe the Realm you now resided in. He watched you with a smile, accepting many compliments on your beauty and grace as you effortlessly mingled with the citizens.

Your smile lit up his world as you dragged him around the market, urging him toward stalls full of items to be bought or traded. Daggers, foods, sweet treats, books, emblems, rings, you name it and they had it. Loki found that his pocket of money he had allowed himself was almost empty after the final stall. Still, your smile made it all worth it.

"Your home is beautiful, Loki," you remarked softly, your dress swishing slowly in the calm wind as Loki guided you down a less occupied street, your cheeks were flushed from the thrill and he loved every second, "do you miss it back home?"

Taking a moment to gaze upon Asgard from your eyes, Loki hummed and replied softly with a fond, "I shall always miss home. However, I have a new home now."

"You do? Where?" you asked with a soft smile, nibbling on a brownie that Loki had purchased because you'd batted your eyelids.

Swiftly, Loki swooped down and pulled you into his arms, pressing a kiss to your lips and then whispering, "you, my love, always you," as he pulled away.

That was enough for your face to flush and your eyes to dart away with a faint embarrassment before you pressed a kiss to his nose with a faint giggle. "You needn't shower me with affection," you said, smiling up at him, "i know it is not your strong point."

"You bring out the best in me, my dear, even making me wish to display my undying affection for you," Loki replied, waving his hand and transporting your bags back to the palace before he grabbed your hip and pulled you close, pressing a soft kiss to your lips.

You happily responded to the God's advances, wrapping your arms around his neck and humming softly until you gasped and pulled away when a drop of rain fell onto your nose. In all of your time in Asgard - a solid three months now -, you'd never seen it rain. "I didn't... know it rained here," you remarked with a grin, holding up a hand to catch the now quickly falling rain.

Staring up at the sky, Loki didn't reply for a moment before ushering you beneath a stall that had been left and you laughed when you saw the pout on his face. "Thor is trying to mess with our date," you joked, as if to lessen the tension, shrugging as you watched the heavy rain.

"Please do not mention my brother when you are on a date with me," you heard Loki complain but you only smiled softly with a fond shake of your head as you knew he knew you would never leave him.

Watching the droplets falling from the safety of the stall, you smiled as you watched some people still continue with their day as if nothing was happening. You, however, had just had your hair professionally done by Frigga's best hair stylists to prepare for a ball tonight so couldn't possibly run out into the rain.

"Of course, the one day I decide to plan something nice for us, the weather has to ruin it," Loki complained, his arm reaching around your waist to pull you close and shelter you against him. From this embrace, you could feel his warmth and appreciate the moment.

Suddenly, a thought struck you and you smirked, your hand reaching to hold Loki's before you gently whispered, "dance with me."

"I beg your pardon?" Loki muttered distractedly before gasping when you stepped out into the rain with your arms outstretched. "Y/N!" he called, shock shining in his eyes as the professionally styled hair became soggy and you had to pull out all of the delicate pins and charms, "what are you--"

Loki couldn't continue since you reached beneath the stall and pulled him out into the downpour, laughing as he spluttered and his ebony hair stuck to his face as he glared down at you. "I wish to have some real fun before tonight! All those dignitaries are boring already but this can never be dull," you explained loudly over the sound of the rain before you began to guide Loki into a slow waltz.

After a few moments, Loki found his feet and began to lead the dance, enjoying the smile that spread across your lips as you finally began to unwind. Sure, you were out in public dancing with a royal but you knew that Loki adored displaying his affections for you so why shouldn't you dance in public with him? You were simply... staking your own claim.

Distantly, you heard music begin to start and when you gazed around, instruments were floating in the air playing a soft melody that Loki danced with you to. You laughed and spun around, your damp hair flicking this way and that carelessly as your dress began to stick to your legs. Still, you danced on.

Loki's hands gripped your waist and he hoisted you into the air, spinning you around effortlessly as he smiled up at you, bringing you down for a soft kiss as the clouds began to dissipate and make way for the familiar Asgardian sunlight.

"Come, let us return back to the castle," Loki whispered to you breathlessly as you giggled and nodded, interlocking your fingers and beginning the journey back to the palace.

Upon arrival, you and Loki smirked at the horrified gasps of your ladies and the maids surrounding the area. You must look such a sight. You didn't care, however, you'd had a lovely time.

As your ladies and the maids began to drag you away to clean you up, you turned and called over to Loki, "we must do that again sometime!"

"I shall look forward to it, dearest!" Loki called back with a chuckle before striding in the opposite direction, a smirk on his face.

Elsewhere, a satisfied God of Thunder strode back into his chambers, tucking Mjolnir away.

Right, friend - bet when you asked this weeks ago you didn't think this would come from it. LCM and I have...I'm not exaggerating been talking about this for like a day and a half. Without further ado - Loki's evolving, revolving door of sexual perversions and kinks throughout the MCU.

Thor 1 – King Kink - by @lokischambermaid

Loki is driven absolutely wild by one kink – when you bow to him and call him “Your Royal Highness” and, specifically… King. You treat him with the respect and reverence of a King while being in complete servitude to him – consensually lowering yourself and elevating him. The types of phrases that drive him absolutely feral with desire: • “Would my King wish for his feet to be cleaned?” • “Is there anything I can do for Your Majesty, undeserving though I am?” • “My King looks especially regal this evening. Fresh from the void, Loki is all kinds of fucked-up. His old faithful regal praise kink is diminished, replaced by something far darker. He finds a strength and thrill from creating disasters and the sexual gratification from it; a consequence both of Thanos' influence and his mental state. Loki has an interesting relationship with his crimes on Midgard – he’s equally smug and ashamed. Smug because he wielded enough power to deeply concern and frighten the entire realm from civilians to governments, causing Midgard to mobilise a unit of six exceptional beings to take him down. And he’s also ashamed on a deep, visceral level for the person he has become and the hatred he feels for himself and his actions, and of course his true lineage. Because of this, Loki gets off on receiving public humiliation for his misdeeds. This kink doesn’t necessary require a partner – but rest assured he was hard beneath his leathers whilst he was cuffed by the wrists, ankles and neck, as ten guards led him into a the Great Hall like an animal. His heart pounded in his chest and he smirked as he was verbally ridiculed for the atrocities. A fantasy scenario he would repeat with partners in the future, once he claimed the throne after faking his death on Svartalfheim.

Ragnarok Loki - Stag & Vixen Kink - by @lokisgoodgirl

Why Not is lore heavy.

There are lore parallels EVERYWHERE.

Olivia and the car appear to be in the same type of location as Vivi in So What. Choerry upside down on a mirror. LCM all over the place. This time the mirror is "on fire" like the burning in So What and Egoist. Lip alone in a field (like Yeojin once was) with three orbs like the three moons in Girl Front and LCM. These moons appear to symbolize OEC. Take note that the grass in the field is green and normal. The meteors from So What are falling around Heejin. She's startled, but not afraid. Eventually, she's not even startled. There is also a yon of lightening, so it seems like there is a storm on the Earth. When we zoom out from Jinsoul in the telephone booth, we see it's raining. Then the raindrops freeze midair. Jinsoul was singing in the rain and it was drenching her, but now she controls it. yyxy but this time Choerry is in place of Gowon. We've heard that Gowon is the X in yyxy for a few reasons, and one of them being her fruit. Apples, strawberries, and plums are rosaceae fruits. Pineapple is not, so Gowon is different from the others. Choerry is also different from the others in OEC. She was the brunette (when they first debuted) her color was a mix of the other colors, and, most importantly in my opinion, her odd eye was on the right while the others were on the left. But it gets deeper. Cherries are also a rosaceae fruit. So now yy-Choerry-y are all the same. Also, they're in a grocery store that has been ransacked as if there was an apocalypse panic. The apocalypse that started in So What. (Also, it's 2020. So it fits.) Vivi is bathed in OEC colors, and she looks great. I also noticed that there are a lot of vehicles in different shots with different people throughout this music video. (Olivia, Vivi, Yves, Chuu) But no yellow truck. Don't know what that means, if it means anything at all. Yeojin is sitting in a shopping cart in what appears to be the same store as yy-Choerry-y. This time it's dark and the only light is from the yellow lights on her cart. She's surrounded by floating cans of what appear to be cherries, like Jinsoul with the cans of cherries in Egoist, or Choerry with...cherries. 2Jin are like Yin and Yang here. It's kind of funny how in So What, Hyunjin and Cheorry were like twins, but now 2Jin-who have been paired from the get-go, are like opposites in harmony. This particular scene doesn't show up in any other place in the MV. Also, big gay. We love to see it. Olivia. Wolf. Also, the background is like a blood red. Egoist all over the place. We see the eyes of the wolf switch to the headlights of the car. So the car is the wolf and the wolf is Olicia...so the car is Olivia? So Olivia is orbiting herself? Jinsoul in the blue lights. Odd eye. Nothing to see here. Like I said, there are a lot of cars in this MV. I can only guess as to what Olivia's car means. But I have no idea for the cars around Yves. Or the Car with Chuu. They look great, though. BUT Chuu is looking at something burning in the sky. I'm not sure if it's the sun or the moon. I think it's the moon, because Olivia set it on fire in So What. Now it's just burning and the world is ending. At the strike of midnight, we see Gowon, Vivi, Yeojin, and Hyunjin working it on the moon. Why them? I think it's a parallel to yy-Choerry-y. This time it's 1/3 (Yeojin included and Haseul in spirit) but Gowon replaced Heejin. So 1/2+Gowon? Gowon has a connection with both Haseul and Hyunjin. She was in Iceland chasing Haseul's truck and she was in Haseul's plane. Also, Gowon is Hyunjin's parallel, or maybe opposite. And we established earlier that Heejin is possibly also opposite to Hyunjin. So....um....I don't know where I'm going with this one. There's also floating rocks around them. Don't exactly know what that means. Now we see clips of the Loonas around the world dancing. This is a team effort, guys. We are all Loona. Gowon is bathed in blue dust much like Jinsoul in Sweet Crazy Love and all of the girls in Favorite. (Gotta connect that video to SOMETHING) Yves kicking us in the face right before the bridge in this video like Vivi throwing the spraypaint can in our faces right before the bridge in So What. It's an honor. Alright. Cult circle around a campfire on the moon. But they're dancing in reverse. The cassette tape being reversed. Someone running around OEC. Chuu running around Yves. They're still in white converses, but they aren't hightops this time. White high tops are OEC's shoe. Yeojin is on Earth looking up at a normal crescent moon. Chuu blinded by the burning moon. Don't know what t connect that to, but I wonder why Chuu's moon is burning but Yeojin's is not. Their backwards dancing is sped up before switching over to Kim Lip (the speedster time traveler). We see that she is barefoot. She's now floating gracefully into the air like the goddess she is. THIS connects to Olivia jumping off the diving board in Hi High. Heejin jumping up into the sky also in Hi High. And Heejin in that one teaser when she's just standing in mid air and then takes a step up. Now 1/2+Gowon is still dancing on the moon, but the lighting is red. Jinsoul, Choerry, Heejin, and Olivia have joined them in the dance in their respective areas. The melody of the Dum Dee Dums changes. We have all the girls throwing colorful chalk at each other. This may also parallel to Favorite. Now we have Olivia surrounded by girls with glowing red eyes. We can't really see who they are, but there was one girl in Egoist. Essentially, Olivia has been redoing the events in Egoist with slight differences. Vivi is surrounded by floating apples, like Yves in New. Also, Vivi was skating with Yves in that video, so it's like she's being tempted by Yves's apple again. At this point we flash to Kim Lip. Still Floating. Still with three orbs. But now the grass is purple, like in Love Cherry Motion. Someone is bathed in orange smoke the same way that Gowon in bathed in blue smoke, but I don't know who or why. Chuu is really having a good time. It seems like she's with the moon burning and the world ending. Jinsoul's raindrops are falling up now. Now Kim Lip is no longer in the purple field and the number of orbs have increased to 12. Once again, this connects to LCM with the 12 mirrors. Some people think that the woman floating above the Earth is Gowon, but I'm pretty sure it's Lip. Her hair just looks blue because of the hue of the Earth. It makes more sense for it to be Lip because she was the one who was floating and she has finally ascended into space and is looking down at the world as storms and chaos rage. So a converse steps down into the sand in reverse. But this time the converse is a black hightop. (As opposed to the white regular shoes or the white hightops). The 12 orbs start to follow one going upwards. Like they're following Kim Lip. Finally we see Hyunjin in darkness. It looks like she's on Earth. A blue butterfly flies past her. (Butterfly effect and Gowon.) Then she looks down and finds that she's wearing one shoe. A black converse hightop. The other foot is bare. This could connect to Cinderella losing her glass shoe at the strike of midnight. One thing I'd like to point out is the lack of running in this MV. We know our girls love to run. But this time, the only "running" we see is the girls skipping backwards around the campfire.

Project Info

Gang name: Serrated Spades

Title: ‘Ace of Spades’

Synopsis: Nearly a year and a half following the events of Six of Crows, Inej returns to Ketterdam for the first time after becoming the True Sea’s most feared slaver hunter. In her time away, she’s learned that while an honourable mission, hunting slavers does not pay wages or ship upkeep expenses. So she comes to Ketterdam with a proposal: A quest on the high seas with the promise of a very lucrative payoff. And she needs a crew with a particular skill set to join her. For Kaz, Wylan, and Jesper--who are all either lonely, bored, in desperate need of distraction, or some sad combination of the three--a potentially arduous and definitely dangerous quest for lost treasure is exactly what they need. Through the Catacombs of Ketterdam and the Mines of Laflin, the gang is back, guns blazing, taking on mythical creatures of the North and a particularly treacherous secret society, all for that sweet, sweet kruge.

Excerpt: 

“What shall we toast to?” Kaz mumbled to the cloud of pink bubbles eddying near his chest as he swirled the finger of whiskey at the bottom of his teacup.

Seventeen months. It’d been seventeen months since Kaz had watched The Wraith set sail. He’d watched her go. Stood on the docks as the sun painted the horizon a brilliant smear of papaya, then a blush of lilac and rose, to a bruised star-speckled blue. He’d watched that far-off, distant thing that was once a ship and so much more, as it faded to a small speck in the crease between sea and sky. Then he’d taken the long way back to the Slat.

In seventeen months, he’d built an empire in this wretched, glorious town. But alas, all newness goes stale eventually. As it happened, Kaz Brekker was bored out of his mind.

He was the kind of bored that made shooting himself in the kneecap seem appealing, if only for the purpose of forcing something interesting out of what had become a very mundane procession of days. The kind of bored that even baths and bubbles and teacups full of whiskey could not fix.

Perhaps he should toast the pistol lying next to the half-empty bottle. It was the only promise of excitement in the room.

The breeze felt nice. A cool lick of air over the slowly heating bath—… Kaz looked up.

Air from where? 

He was sure he’d shut the windows in the adjoining bedroom. Suddenly, his stupor washed away like water down the drain. He glanced at the pistol again, debating whether to get out of the tub and investigate, or if he could risk waiting for his assailant in the warm cocoon of water.

“I’d say to the pursuit of kruge,” a silky voice murmured from behind him. “But it looks like you’ve already got that covered.”

His heart stopped. He didn’t know whether he’d pass out or vomit, but either one might be likely considering the haze of whiskey he struggled to clear from his mind.

He turned to face the source of that familiar voice. There, perched on the edge of the granite sink top like she’d been there all this time, was someone he hadn’t seen in seventeen months. Kaz couldn’t help the slow smile that crept across his face.

“Hello, Inej,” he drawled.

“Hello, Kaz,” she said.

Okay, so LOONA seem to have put lots of emphasis on looping in their discography:

ViVi, Kim Lip, Yves and Olivia Hye have casette tapes in their MV

Girl Front shows the girls experience looping properties

Jinsoul’s rap mentions ‘the endless cycle’

And then I thought, if only ViVi’s memories weren’t erased, then the timeline would probably be clearer.

Then it hit me: what if everyone’s memories were being erased, keeping the timeline in its loop?

This could be why the LOONAVERSE is referred to as a Mobius Strip- a constant but unstable loop, as no one is allowed to develop.

So let’s walk through the timeline:

STAGE 1 (SCL - E):

We start off with Everyday I Need You, where ViVi, an android, comes across Jinsoul near the beginning of Sweet Crazy Love and ‘releases her from her basement’ (making ViVi the one who took out Jinsoul’s earphone), which causes the release of Jinsoul’s rain (in Singing In The Rain) to make the memories of 1/3 (Heejin, Hyunjin, Haseul, ViVi) be erased (in Rain 51db). Meanwhile, Chuu and Go Won, clueless and in OEC world, give Hyunjin a bracelet; just as one side goes up while the other goes down on a SeeSaw, Hyunjin falls from OEC world to Earth while Chuu and Go Won return to Eden.

Hyunjin, while happy to have helped Chuu and Go Won, mourns her removal from OEC world in Around You. However the bracelet is actually a bakoneko in disguise (shout out to @pinksrs, who inspired this detail), and as the animal’s influence grows stronger, Heejin and Hyunjin find each other. Later, they can’t get the other out of their mind, and they share a dream (I’ll Be There).

After some time, Heejin discovers her power to bring out colours in ViVid, allowing Jinsoul to awaken her ODD eye; as atonement for erasing her memory, she gives ViVi her own ODD eye to help her navigate the world. As Hyunjin, a primary colour, is absent, Kim Lip’s red and Jinsoul’s blue combine to make Choerry, the purple girl, to fill in her place. Kim Lip goes off to work on her own powers in Eclipse.

STAGE 2 (LCM - L&L):

Choerry is just hanging out with her friends, Haseul and Yeojin; while her colour has been added to her, she is still on Earth. Jinsoul travels there to leave a cherry, and when Choerry eats it, she is transported to OEC’S world, where an alternate version of herself teaches her how to use her powers over the events of Love Cherry Motion.

Meanwhile in New, Yves has doubt about being in Eden. She creates an apple by combining the attributes of two girls: Yeojin and Kim Lip. However in doing this, she traps Yeojin, seperating her from 1/3, and causes antagonism between her and Kim Lip.

At this point, 1/3 are in a pretty bad mood; Heejin’s power makes her feel isolated, Hyunjin is cut off from her home, Haseul has just lost Yeojin and Choerry, and ViVi’s android status leaves her practically apathetic. Thankfully, as they contemplate on the past events in Sonatine, they are close enough together that Heejin releases their colours, which ViVi’s ODD eye senses. Later that night, they share a dream through Everyday I Love You; Yeojin, who is trapped elsewhere but is granted the power to join their dream, attempts to make contact with them. This dream, actually a memory of ViVi buried deep down, is set off by Yves’ arrival onto Earth, as she has eaten her apple.

After seeing each other in the dream, 1/3 are drawn together and come up with the idea to start a track team. Some time passes in Love&Live, during which Heejin discovers that ViVi is an android, until ViVi has a realisation when she sees Hyunjin, the former OEC girl now in 1/3, with her colour while running; she unplugs herself, willing to lose her ODD eye, and runs until it runs out of energy; she loses it and becomes human again, in time to come across Yves.

STAGE 3 (GF - HA):

As ViVi and Yves spend time together (cough fall in love cough) in New, they travel to Eden to spend more time together. Meanwhile Girl Front starts to happen; Kim Lip and Jinsoul look for the new OEC girl, while Choerry looks for all 12 of LOONA. On her way, she finds the locations of a few, including Hyunjin and Yeojin, and she throws a map for Haseul to find in Let Me In. Haseul discovers that she has the power to save Yeojin (as Haseul and Yeojin’s signature animals are a bird and a frog respectively, I based this bit on this piece of Taiwanese folklore).

In The Carol, Heejin manages to combine the attributes of Haseul’s animal and Hyunjin’s colour to create the yellow bird necessary for Yeojin’s escape (the gift she holds in the MV which appears later). Meanwhile, the OEC girls unite, but as they look for the others, Yves (and ViVi) pass by, and Choerry follows Yves to yyxy world (as seen in Starlight) where ViRryVes spend The Carol 2.0 together; during this, Yves convinces Choerry to help the other yyxy girls fall to Earth, in exchange for allowing Choerry to also return; missing Haseul and Yeojin, Choerry agrees.

This increases Kim Lip’s dislike of Yves, and now she also fears losing another OEC girl. In order to preserve OEC, during the end of Girl Front, she tries to go back in time to reverse the events which led to Choerry meeting ViVi and Yves; however she doesn’t realise that she does not erase the events but only the memories of those events from herself- in fact she erases all of her memories up to and including Sweet Crazy Love, so she loses knowledge of her ODD eye.

Using her (love cherry) magic, Choerry takes the properties from the apple Yves gave her (as fruits from the Rosacae family allow one to fall from Eden) and give them to Go Won’s pineapple. However, Choerry comes across Yeojin, trapped in yyxy’s world. Choerry manages to come across Hyunjin, who gives her the present (briefly seen in Kiss Later) to free Yeojin; however, still angry at Yves for trapping Yeojin, she causes Yves’ original apple to be ‘corrupted’- as soon as Kim Lip and Yeojin are ‘reset’, Yves will be brought back to Eden. As soon as she has given the fruit to Go Won in One&Only, Choerry returns herself to Earth, inadvertently erasing her memory as she does so, and also losing her own ODD eye.

During Love4Eva, Yves only has three fruits with her, so she prepares to leave Eden with Go Won and Chuu, believing that Olivia Hye does not want to join them and not wanting to waste the fruits.

STAGE 4 (E - E):

In Egoist, Olivia is distraught by this betrayal; in Kiss Later, Yeojin senses this and empathises, having also been hurt by Yves. She refuses to eat the fruit that will let her escape until Jinsoul provides more cherries for Yeojin to eat in order to allow Olivia Hye to have her blood plum. However, ViVi still remains in Eden; in anger, Olivia Hye transforms ViVi into an android, removing her from Eden in the process.

Meanwhile, Chuu and Go Won land in OEC world, memories both wiped; Chuu is woken up by the presence of Haseul’s bird returning from Eden with Yeojin and Jinsoul. Chuu sets off to look for another yyxy member. As Yeojin is returned to Earth, Yves is taken back to Eden. My Melody shows Haseul celebrating Yeojin’s return, while My Sunday features Heejin and Hyunjin together (cough on a date). Meanwhile, Jinsoul tries to convince Olivia Hye to let go, but in her anger, Olivia Hye erases Jinsoul’s memories of having an ODD eye, keeping the ability locked away and plunging the world into black and white. As Egoist ends, Olivia Hye is found by Heejin, who consoles her and helps her return to Eden at the cost of her memories. Before she returns however, Olivia Hye offers Heejin a colour buried deep inside of her: bright pink.

And the cycle begins again: OEC look for their colours, ViVi tries to become human, 1/3 finds their place in the world, Yves feels weary of Olivia Hye, and yyxy feels the urge to leave Eden.

So how does LOONA unite?

Well, they unite by breaking free from the loop, so eventually memories don’t get erased.

In the Hi High (1/3) version (where Hi High takes place within OEC), Egoist doesn’t happen because before Olivia Hye goes on her rampage, Jinsoul (and the rest of OEC) give her a way to Earth, where Yves is surprised but gladly welcomes her. ViVi stays human and keeps the knowledge of how to go beyond. My Melody changes to take place during Hi High, where Haseul and Yeojin retain what they learnt in Let Me In and Eden respectively. Chuu and Go Won thank Hyunjin by offering her their yellow (since orange and green contain that colour) to her, letting her find and rejoin OEC. Kim Lip finds Heejin by sensing her colour, and together LOONA soar into the sky.

Name: Awankei Uku (Kei, for short.)

Quirk: Bubbles! She can control the temperature and acidity of her bubbles. To keep this up, though, she has to constantly be hydrated. She makes a ring with her fingers to make bubbles. Her left hand controls temperature and her right hand controls acidity. She can overlap them to combine them, but it doesn’t always work out. She can pick when the bubbles can pop, and she has complete control over all her bubbles. It’s harder to control them in big groups, unless they all have the same “command” (ex. go to the same place). She prefers to pop them by letting the make contact with something, however, some bubbles are harder to pop because of their Ph level so she will have to pop them by hand. She can do this by tapping her thumb with her pinky.

Body type: Small. Everything about her is small, she’s short, petite and can barely fit in teen clothes.

Appearance: Again, small. It’s the first thing you notice. She has her hair in a short bob, and it’s a sky blue color. Her eyes are small, two, kind of almond shaped, but her eyelashes are long as heck. Her face is round, too, and her cheeks are smooth as heck. She’s super pale, too.

Personality: She’s incredibly shy. Kei isn’t scared of anything, but she isn’t too outspoken. She’ll take many things coming at her, but she does have her breaking point. Even then, she’ll apologize about a million times when she does snap. She tries her best to help others, but it makes her put herself second. She’s a big nerd who knows way too much about chemistry and other sciences. Kei is a mini fangirl though, who thinks everyone around her is always doing great. She’s a super supportive person, but again, she can’t remember to take care of herself for anything. She’s a little disheveled in appearance since she’s always so focused on either reading or trying to help someone else out. She’s a big ol’, shy nerd, basically. She’s also easily peer pressured so she’s highly susceptible to being roped into things she doesn’t want to deal with. Kei is also easily excitable. She doesn’t show it, though. You can only catch it with her pressing her hands together and smiling.

Random “quirks” about her quirk: She has to long sleeves and pants/leggings. She isn’t safe from her own quirk, save for her hands. She will use her quirk to clean.. a lot. It’s the easiest, most efficient way to get things done. Kei has a burn scar on her shoulder that she always hides- it was how she discovered the acidity.

Habits: She makes normal, water bubbles when she’s thinking, bored or nervous.

—BACKSTORY

There was no denying, from the moment Michaela Beaumont was born, she was beautiful beyond compare. The faerie, with her lightly pointed ears and a soft smile that made you feel like out of everyone, you were the one she so desperately wanted to see, had all of the qualities to be the perfect faerie. And yet, the young girl had never really seemed to fit in. She was awkward and elusive. She’d be the first to run off to another dimension and had a habit of showing up in the wrong place at the wrong time. The other faeries never knew what to make of her and kept their distance for the most part. But, on Earth it was a completely different story.

In the Human Realm, Michaela was the apple of everyone’s eyes having her fair share of suitors. And when the naive girl fell, she fell hard. Thomas was clever with a sharp wit like none other. Not to mention, incredibly attractive. The once orphan had been taken in by a well-to-do family, and by the time she met him, Tom carried himself the way any perfect gentleman with an excellent education and land to his name might. Well, at least to anyone else, but her. With her, he was cocky, blunt, and playful. He made her question the world around her and pushed her to do more than was expected from any woman in that day or age. He was a man ahead of his time and he made her heart skip faster than any other. She hide what she was from him for as long as she could. But one day, when the two had snuck off down near the riverside, she slipped up. She had been balancing on a log, teetering back and forth as Tom took a swim beside her. Only to catch her off guard as he grabbed her ankle to playfully pull her in. The faerie reacted out of instinct. A snap of electricity surging through her and electrocuting him in the water. It wasn’t enough to do any damage. But, it certainly gave him a shock. A horrified look filled his eyes as he ran back to the house as fast as he could. Myki could have sworn that would be it, but the next day, she found a note snuck under her door asking to see her again. They carried on their romance for years after. From the country side of Paris to the heart of London, casting pining looks across the ballroom as they watched each other grow up.

She knew in the back of her mind he could have his pick of any woman he wanted, but it didn’t stop her from hoping that maybe, just maybe, it could be her. That she could settle down with the man who made her feel seen for something outside of her looks; who made her feel alive. She didn’t care that he’d age at a normal rate. She had made her mind. She wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. So, when he proposed, she didn’t think twice about saying yes. 

But, their engagement was short lived. He wanted to know everything about her. He wanted to be apart of her whole world. He wanted to see the faerie realm. To live with her there. At first she indulged him. Creating illusions around them or a light show in the sky. But, there was something about the curious look in his eyes when it came to magic, that just didn’t sit right. She loved him, but his obsession with the other dimension, with her abilities? It couldn’t help, but frighten her. She had loved the human realm because it was the first place she had ever felt like she fit in. Her quirks? Her lovable charm? They were embraced here. It was home. She wasn’t ready to give that feeling of normalcy up. And there were parts about Supernaturals he didn’t understand. The dark parts. The engrained fear of being found out. Of the other monsters that lurked in the night. She was trying to protect him. She was trying to protect herself.

But, the more she kept him from her world, the more the pair fought. 

I’m going to be your husband!

Despite his quick wit and his progressive beliefs, he was a still a man of his time. She loved him. He was man who helped her to find herself. But, it was in that moment she knew she couldn’t be his wife. She couldn’t be the woman he expected her to be.

But, I can’t be your subservient wife.

She gave the ring back and the pair returned to the longing stares across the ballroom, trying their best to navigate a friendship despite wishing for more. Michaela had known, logically, that when she turned him down, he’d find someone else. Of course he would. He was dapper and an incredible catch. But, it wasn’t something she had ever quite thought allowed herself to think about. That was until her little sister, Aylin, stepped in.

Lydia had always been bold, brisk, reckless and spoiled. She was a determined flirt who was girlish past propriety. Her father used to blame her mother for overly-indulging the girl. But, instead of trying to teach her to restrain herself, Michaela’s dad would lock himself up in his study, getting lost in the pages of books rather than deal with his wife and Lydia’s outrageous desires. And when Lydia visited Myki, of course she set her sights on the most desirable man in the room. Begging her older sister to introduce them. 

Lydia was adored in the faerie realm and the naive girl expected to be favored on earth as well. She wanted what she couldn’t have and the more disinterest Tom seemed in her, the more she threw herself at him, desperate to be loved. Not even realizing that she might be stepping on her sister’s toes or stealing the one thing her sister had that was hers and hers alone. So Lydia continued to pester Tom until she finally persuaded him to sneak off with her after hours. Tempting him with her knowledge of the supernatural. And he was lonely. Still heartbroken over Michaela and desperate to know what was worth hiding so badly that it ruined what they had. So, more and more, he learned about the other species that were out there. Him and Lydia indulged in “V” and drank to their hearts content, only to stumble back in the middle of the night laughing at the top of their lungs. He convinced himself that doing this? Hanging out with Lydia would make him in some way closer to Michaela. But, the more they did, the more she slipped away. The friendship they once shared almost completely dissipating as she watched the man she used to know loose himself in the world of magic her family had thrusted upon him.

But it wasn’t enough that she had to watch the man she once loved spiral out of control. She had to lose him too. Lydia picked a fight intentionally, so that Tom could heroically defend her. Only he didn’t win. And by the time his limp body fell against the hard wood floor, it was too late. Tom had died with vampire blood in his system. And Lydia? The scared brash girl ran crying back to her sister. Two fang marks still fresh against the side of her neck as she frantically packed her bags, ready to flea home.

But, love is a funny thing. Because no matter how much Michaela hated who Tom had become? No matter how much she wanted to walk away, she just couldn’t give up on her friend. So, when her sister retreated back to the realm, Michaela stayed behind. She had no interest in being with him romantically. But, she refused to toss him to the side like he had done her. So, she stayed. She risked her life to give him the wake up call he needed to get shit together. She stayed behind to look after his sibling, because hers had ruined him. Michaela Beaumont choose to be banished from the faerie realm, to not be able to return home for over a hundred years, so that she could clean up the mistakes her sister had made. And once he had finally settle into his new life? Away from his sibling to keep her safe? She gave him a kiss on the cheek and walked away. 

Michaela, the outcast, made things right and then spent the next couple of decades alone, moving from city to city in a poor attempt of trying to find something more. Some purpose out there despite just this. The faerie kept the smile across her lips like her own personal shield, but it wasn’t until the 21st century when she was finally started to feel herself again. She fell into acting and found peace telling other people’s stories outside of her own. 

The brunette, now trying to get back to the girl with the free and playful spirit, got a job at LCM acting and being the resident set costume designer; taking advantage of the skills she had pick up over the years, and trying to move on from the past and embrace this next century in her life.

The best Manchester City XI heading into the new year

Manchester City started this season on fire as expected. The Sky Blues dominated English football last time out and secured a league double in Pep Guardiola's second season in charge. The Catalan manager is famous for building dominant teams that run rampage on the league. He has also assembled a killer squad at the Etihad Stadium that is tearing the Premier League apart. Let's take a look at members of his best starting XI. GK: Ederson Arguably the best ball-playing goalkeeper on the planet, the Brazilian has justified his manager's decision to seek an upgrade on Joe Hart when he took over. Since arriving from Benfica, the 25-year-old has nailed down City's number one position as his own. He is now the first name on Guardiola's team sheet. His ball-playing ability makes him the first port of call in implementing the Catalan manager's possession-based style of play. RCB: John Stones The Englishman featured sparingly in the record-breaking team that ran away with the league title last term. But after an inspired performance at the World Cup in the summer, he is now a bona fide member of the first XI. He has partnered Aymeric Laporte to great effect as the duo has been constant in defence in matches against top six sides as well as critical Champions League games. His speed, agility and ball-playing skills make him almost indispensable to the former Barcelona boss. He has also emerged as an important part of the England national team setup. LCB: Aymeric Laporte France’ loss is proving to be Man City's gain as the in-form defender, who could have provided sufficient cover for Les Bleus in their Nations League adventure was ignored. But he played every league game for the Sky Blues and was never on the losing side since making his debut for the club until recently against Chelsea. Good with his feet and in the air, the 24-year-old is one of Guardiola's most trusted players. Other center backs are rotated around him whenever the manager wants to tweak the central defence pairing. That speaks to his quality and reliability. LWB: Fabian Delph A fit Benjamin Mendy will have this position locked down with anyone else coming in whenever he needs a rest. Unfortunately, the Frenchman has been on the treatment table for most of his time at the club so far. A recent knee operation ruled him out for another three months has left the manager with no other choice than to improvise. Midfielders Fabian Delph and Oleksandr Zinchenko now share responsibility for the position. But it is the Englishman that is considered the better of the duo. RWB: Cayle Walker The former Tottenham right back has been a hit since switching London for Manchester. He is so good Brazilian Danilo, signed from Real Madrid hardly gets to play. Although his recent performances have not been great, still maintains his position. Energetic and able to run the full length of the pitch to make a pass or whip in a cross, his contributions are usually vital for the team. CDM: Fernandinho A true workhorse, the Brazilian is the only player in the team that seams irreplaceable. He is the rock in front of the defence that shields the back four from unrestricted attack. At 33, he should be slowing down. Not Fernie. The former Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder is the real link between defence and attack for City. Tough tackling, good in the air, a good passer of the ball and able to score screamers, Fernandinho is the complete midfielder. RCM: Kevin De Bruyne Talk about complete and you are referring to the likes of Kevin De Bruyne. The Belgian is one of the best players in the Premier League hands down and Guardiola's not so secret weapon. Although injuries have curtailed his performance this season, his role in this team is still uniquely important. As if to remind everyone of his special quality, he scored in his first start for the club since returning from injury last week. A sensational strike against Leicester helped the Citizens progress to the next round in the League Cup. LCM: Bernardo Silva Normally, David Silva should occupy this spot. But the Spanish magician is injured at the moment. In comes the man that was brought in to replace him at the club in the first place. But the Portuguese is not in the best XI just because his namesake is sidelined. He deserves every minute he gets on the pitch as he has been one of City's most in-form players this term. With four goals and three assists to his name, he gives the manager another viable option for goals and helping secure match wins. LW: Leroy Sane The German started the campaign rather slowly as he was left out of the starting XI several times, but has recovered well to make his mark in the team. The highlight of his season so far was his brace against Hoffenheim in the last game of the group stage that secured a 2-1 win and a place in the Round of 16 as group winners. But that has by no means been his only contribution to the team. Six league goals and another seven assists in 15 appearances show that the reigning Premier League Young Player of the Year is still one of the best in the league this season. RW: Raheem Sterling If Kevin De Bruyne was City's best player last term, Sterling has been the best this time around. The 24-year-old is not only the team's top goalscorer this season but has also excelled in his overall contribution to the side. That has led to him being rewarded with a new improved contract that earns him £290,000 per week. The subject of alleged racist abuse at Stamford Bridge recently that has not affected him one bit as he was on the scoresheet in the very next match against Everton. He has also emerged as the only player from the club to win the PFA Player of the Month award this season having been named as such for November. CS: Sergio Aguero The club's record goalscorer, Aguero's stay at the club has been due to his delivery in front of goal. Despite Guardiola's initial skepticism about the player's ability to adapt to his methods, the Argentine has passed every test with flying colours. Even though he has been pegged back by injury, he has still netted eight times so far. After consistently delivering more than 20 league goals per season for several years now, his value to both the club and the manager has continued to rise. He is the preferred option to young Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus in the big games.
