December 6 2011 – Laura 24 Jordan wasn't too worried about getting hired in Beacon Hills. If they passed on him he'd move on to the next small town. Just anywhere but Montana, anywhere far away from home and all the faces he doesn't see there anymore. Waiting outside the Sheriff's office for his interview, he relaxed and enjoyed the petty thieves being booked while their parents were called and the generally sleepy feeling that was soaked into this Northern California town. The back door opening just drew his idle interest and it was hardly an occasion for what felt to him like a movie slowmo musical interlude. Stunning, he thought distantly as the most beautiful girl ever walked into his life to the hallucinatory tune of the song Dreamweaver. Ok not into his life, he argued with the heart-eyes part of him that was obviously slowing down time as it stood with a boombox over its head playing music, but life adjacent. Definitely life adjacent. The form fitting deputy uniform and the swish of her ponytail seemed to reset the beating of his heart. As if she could read his thoughts, that stunning angel of Justice cocked her head to glance at him and with a knowing smirk— winked. Jordan was on another planet, was she haloed in light? Was he having a stroke? Just say hello!! his brain screamed at him. "Uuunnghhaaa...." He wheezed, the angel's snorted laughter making his pulse race. THEY HAD COMMUNICATED. The vision of beauty turned a corner and just like that Jordan was back in the colorless real world again. He sat up straight and made sure he was extra presentable. Now he was worried. Beacon Hills or nothing!
