That's Not My Neighbor Timeline
This timeline will show some tidbits of what would be the story of my ocs before the events of the game itself because I have my brain working late at night and I want to share this with you guys :3. This will contain some spoilers about the formation of the D.D.D. and the beginning of the Trojan Horse Project.
1945
Oswald D. Keppler founded the Department of Doppelganger Detection as the General Director of the said department.
The Trojan Horse Project was funded by the Military Department of the Government with Keppler as the General Director of the project and Dr. W. Afton as the Lead Scientist of the said project.
Some of the prominent employees of the department are Dr. Stanford Abelforth and Dr. Aditha Gulliver who have contributed their expertise in their specialized fields. Both are dedicated to the experiments being conducted in the lab and were praised by many.
1946
A teenager Ollie was scribbling in his notebook about vehicles, fascinated by the world of motorsports. While engrossed with his hobby, a loud noise can be heard outside of his room. His mother cried from fear as she tried to grab the telephone to contact the police, only for the doppelganger that was in the form of his father to kill her before she could utter a word through the phone. Curious and frightened, Ollie rushes out of his room to get the whole glimpse of the disgruntled form of his father.
Before the doppelganger can kill Ollie, Lazaro happens to arrive earlier than expected as he quickly grabs Ollie away, causing him to have a scar on his right eye. He then grabs his pistol and shoots the doppelganger 4 times. Despite knowing that it's just the doppelganger of his older brother, he feels guilty for doing it. After the events had happened, Ollie then lived with his nonna and aunt throughout his life before moving in to live with his uncle.
In the same year, Ruslan Gulliver, the husband of Aditha, was hired by the D.D.D. as the first doorman of the apartment building that he would be working on. Throughout his job, he encounters different doppelgangers of the tenants in which he is capable of diminishing the differences between the original and the latter.
1947
Aditha begins to feel unease with the project as she only tells her concerns about Stanford which he is the only person she could trust. Although she also wants to reveal the purpose and objective of the project to her husband Ruslan while having a dilemma whether to reveal it or not, her life is cut short after finding out that Afton happens to hear her conversation with Stanford. Her death was orchestrated by Afton who sent out a doppelganger that was in the form of her husband to “silence” her before she could even report this to the authorities despite the project being funded by the government as she believes this is considered “immoral” and “dangerous” to humanity.
The real Ruslan finds out about this from Stanford as he goes to save her, only to see her dead by the said doppelganger. Out of pure rage, he grabs a sledgehammer, hitting the doppelganger several times before he is now covered in blood. The next year, he quit his job as a doorman before returning years later as a building janitor to reveal the truth beneath the lies of the department.
1951
Delora is an office clerk who works the 9-to-5 shift at a business company. After her shift, she plans on visiting her parents after a tiring day at work from filing documents to answering phone calls through the telephone. When she arrived at the Steding Residence, she noticed the door was open. Curious, she went inside the house, hearing faint weeping noises from the kitchen. To her surprise, she saw her “aunt” from her mother’s side covered in blood as the cold lifeless body of her parents was lying on the floor.
Her “aunt” told her a fabricated story where a doppelganger got inside the house while she was visiting her parents to bring some apple pie. She also stated that she already called the police and was on the way to the scene. Delora noticed the slight difference between her aunt as she doesn't recall her having amber eyes and her mother has grayish ones as well as a mole on her chin. Not buying the story, she grabs a kitchen knife and stabs the doppelganger that was impersonating her aunt at least 7 times as the police arrived into the scene.
One of the officers tries to arrest her but Lazaro stops them midway from handcuffing Delora. He wants to interrogate her first from the beginning until the end of the story about the death of her parents and her alibi. She was taken to the station and asked several questions, once her alibi was considered valid, Lazaro let her go and ended the case. That day forward, Delora becomes more cautious around her surroundings as she develops mistrust of the people she happens to meet.
1955
The business company Delora worked in suddenly went into bankruptcy, causing her to lose her job as an office clerk. While looking for other job opportunities, a mysterious man who happens to be one of the members of D.D.D. gave her a proposition of working as a doorwoman of the apartment building. He believes that her skills of telling which is the doppelganger could stop the rampant invasion of doppelgangers in the building and would be a vital help towards society. Delora was hesitant at first, but she agreed either way.
In February of the same year started her job as the doorwoman of the building in which she encountered different tenants living in each apartment room of the said resident. There she met Ruslan and Stanford who shared a distrust of the D.D.D. and told her to be mindful of the organization that hired her. Throughout her time as a doorwoman, she begins to feel doubtful of the organization as she wants to find out the truth from the lies that the government fabricated to keep the image of the D.D.D. intact. With her snooping around, Dr. Afton becomes more mindful and observant of her actions as her involvement will cause them gravely.

That's Not My Neighbor Ocs Information
Delora Steding
Age: 27
Height: 5'8" (5'10" when wearing heels)
Occupation: Office clerk (formerly) Doorwoman
Information:
The current doorman of the apartment lost her job as an office clerk from a company she worked for that went bankrupt. A very cautious woman who will do everything to cover her identity outside due to the horrific death of her parents after a doppelganger of her aunt killed them while she was away. She would sometimes let the D.D.D. handle the caught doppelganger or she would take matters into her own hands and entrust the janitor Ruslan to do the cleaning for her. According to the accounts of the tenants, she can be seen holding a weapon (A crowbar, a sledgehammer, or a pistol) while exterminating a doppelganger.
LORE:
After Delora becomes a doorwoman of the building, she begins to become more curious about the D.D.D. as she slowly goes ahead to dig deep into the organization and the Trojan Horse Project that leads to the foundation of how doppelgangers exist.
Ruslan Gulliver
Age: 47
Height: 6'4"
Occupation: Doorman (formerly), Janitor
Information:
He mostly does the cleaning of the apartment building. Rus would atleast burn the doppelganger's body on the furnace after cleaning up the mess Delora made. He has a large scar on his torso after an encounter of a doppelganger that entered the building and would take a smoke on his cigarette during break time. He may look grumpy but Rus cares for the tenants of the building and will do his best to keep them safe and help the doorwoman when it comes to dealing with doppelgangers. When Delora couldn't kill the doppelganger on the run, he would deal with them by himself to give her some slack.
LORE:
Ruslan is a former doorman of the apartment during the late 1940s before becoming a janitor for a company, later coming back to the apartment as he wants Delora to find out the truth about the origins of the doppelgangers and the D.D.D. His wife was a member of the D.D.D. which piques his interest but his wife Aditha doesn't want to tell him about the experiment until he finds out that his wife died at the hands of a doppelganger who was imitating him. Due to the events, he wanted to bring justice to his late wife as he would do everything to reveal the hidden secrets the D.D.D. was hiding from the world.
Detective Lazaro Palmiotto
Age: 36
Height: 6'5"
Occupation: Detective
Room Floor: F04-2
Information:
A sleep-deprived detective who happens to be the one who investigated the murder of Delora's parents by a doppelganger years ago. He is the youngest of the Palmiotto family and the uncle of Ollie. His family took care of Ollie after a doppelganger killed his parents. He was concerned for his nephew's health and well-being and he knows how dangerous motorsports games are, especially how injury-prone the sport is. Despite all his efforts of not letting Ollie pursue that dream, Lazaro lets his nephew do the things he loves rather than make him regret his decision to follow what his family wants for him. He may look irritated and grumpy, but Lazaro is a calm, tired, and sleepy detective who needs some rest.
LORE:
During the early 1950s, he is one of the officers who investigated and interviewed Delora about the death of her parents at the hands of a doppel acting as her aunt. He met her again at the apartment building as Delora is the new doorman of the apartment where he and his nephew Ollie Palmiotto are residing. During the plot, Lazaro helps Delora find out the true intentions of the D.D.D. in which he is mindful of the consequences of intervening within the organization but he is willing to sacrifice himself to find out the truth as he slowly begins to form such feelings towards her.
Dr. Stanford Abelforth
Age: 45
Height: 6'0"
Occupation: Therapist and Physician
Room Floor: F04-4
Information:
A British therapist who happens to become Wilbert's personal therapist due to Delora paying him money despite trying to decline the offer of being a therapist to the office manager. Among the patients he have dealt with in his life, he finds Wilbert a bit stressful to be with. But with Delora forcing him to deal with him, he has no choice but to keep on consulting Wilbert even if he wants to give him a piece of advice about getting lobotomized.
LORE:
Stanford is a member of the D.D.D. and a colleague of Dr. W. Afton and Aditha Gulliver. He doesn't like how the D.D.D. lets the doppelgangers roam around the city for the sake of their experiments. He gives Delora some information about the D.D.D. and the secrets behind the organization as he continues to make sure he doesn't get caught.
Wilbert Colemann
Age: 31
Height: 6'1"
Occupation: Office manager
Room Floor: F04-1
Information:
A problematic British office manager who seeks affection after breaking up with his lover from getting caught cheating on him. He may look happy and sometimes a suave man who tends to be flirty with women, but he is rather a desperate man looking for affection and hates being taken for granted. Sadly, despite Wilbert bragging about not being scared of doppelgangers, he will turn into a coward upon seeing a glimpse of his doppelganger. According to Delora, she considers him a mentally unstable person and needs to be put on hold.
LORE:
Wilbert is a bit of a nuisance to Delora as she thinks he is just a distraction to her goal of revealing the true intentions of the D.D.D.. Despite being one of the tenants of the 4th Floor, he is very keen to overhear conversations about their plans to find out the truth about the said organization. Throughout the plot, he slowly gets lovestruck by a female D.D.D. agent he feels like she's the one for him (very delulu of him /j /pos).
Ollie Palmiotto
Age: 25
Height: 6'2½"
Occupation: Motorsport driver
Room Floor: F04-2
Information:
Ollie is an Italian-American driver from a motorsport game. He is the nephew of the Italian detective Lazaro Palmiotto. At a young age, he lost his parents to a doppelganger who was impersonating his father (Lazaro's older brother) Lazaro came to save him from the doppelganger in exchange for getting his right eye scratched. Ollie then moved out to live with his nonna and Lazaro as he was fascinated with learning cars and also interested in joining motorsports. He is rarely seen in the apartment building since he is joining the competition every year. He won at least 2 world championships in his career.
LORE:
Ollie is afraid of dealing with doppelgangers as he was traumatized by seeing his mother getting killed in front of him by a doppel that was impersonating his father who is also dead while going home from work before getting ambushed by the said doppel. Whenever there are no grand prix needed to compete, he stays at the apartment and keeps an eye on the apartment room in case he encounters a doppelganger of one of the tenants or his uncle who is dealing with investigating the D.D.D..
Noriku Hirawa
Age: 24
Height: 5'5" (5'7" when wearing heels)
Occupation: Receptionist
Room Floor: F04-3
Information:
A shy Japanese immigrant who works at a hotel as a receptionist. She is not fond of conversations with the other tenants in the apartment building but Noriku slowly begins to feel comfortable around them and gets a crush on Steven Rudboys. She gets scared easily when she sees a doppelganger of herself but she always feels safe when Delora and Ruslan are around to deal with them. She also happens to have a crush on Steven Rudboys, a pilot from F03-3.
LORE:
Being a bystander of the apartment, she doesn't dwell on knowing where are doppelgangers came from of what is the D.D.D. really is. But she is more of a damsel in distress in which she gets protected by Delora, Ruslan, Lazaro, or Steven from doppelgangers she encounters she feels like a burden to anyone around her for being useless even if they reassure her that she is no burden to them.
