Ronny teaching Rose while also having fun
Rose doesn’t have the great aim with her weapon (the one that shoots water) so Ronny tries helping her
She buys water guns for a water fight . Rose thinks it’s dumb that they’re outside and doing this but Ronny manages to convince her like “hey this is helpful. The Lavalizards are hot) She has an okay time (not the biggest fan of getting wet) but still doesn’t really get it.
Anyway, they’re on battle and Rose tries using her weapon and she realizes she’s aiming was better. She realize the water gun game definitely helped her aim.
She thanks Ronny and considers another water gun game. Ronny happily agrees and gets the others to do it

Had a great time today kicking off our new semester of ACME online mentoring with students from out in Cali as well as programs here in Alabama. We talked about line, shape, form, and Walt Stanchfield’s 6 simple rules of perspective. Below is the super scrappy draw along to show how the concepts apply to character design and posing. Have a great night everybody! . . . #artistoninstagram #instaart #photoshop #instaartistic #tradigitalart #tradigitaldesign #wacom #cintiq #octoberdrawalong #ACMEmentoring #lavalizards #newsemester https://www.instagram.com/p/CGTQxajDGFy/?igshid=5st606sgbcow

The Galapagos volcanic history means that many species must be adapted to the harsh environments of cooled lava fields. Lava lizards are one of the first animals to utilize these habitats.

Lava lizards were some of the only land animals we saw on Bartolome, but they feed on insects and other invertebrates so there also existed a population of those tiny animals.

Lava lizards or microlophus are a genus of small reptile containing about 20 species. Half of these are endemic (native) to the Galápagos Islands. They can change color somewhat individually and their coloration can depend on the substrate they are living on.

Lava flows can have a similar ecological purpose to forest fires which clear out established foliage and recycle nutrients. However, they are far more reliable.
