How is the Indian Elephant being conserved?

First, let us understand the threats faced by the Indian Elephant

Habitat Loss and Fragmentation

One of the primary threats facing Indian elephants is habitat loss and fragmentation. Rapid urbanization, agricultural expansion, and infrastructure development have encroached upon their natural habitats, leaving them with limited space to roam freely. The northeastern state of Assam and the Western Ghats have witnessed significant habitat loss due to deforestation for tea plantations and human settlements. As a result, elephants in the region often stray into human-dominated areas, leading to frequent conflicts with local communities. In fact, rampant mining in the elephant corridor of Jharkhand and Odisha has significantly altered migratory routes.

Human-Elephant Conflicts

The shrinking of elephant habitats brings elephants into closer proximity with human settlements, resulting in increased conflicts. Elephants often raid crops, leading to retaliatory measures by farmers, further exacerbating the situation. Vario

According to the Project Elephant Division of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, human-elephant conflicts resulted in the deaths of 573 people and 1,674 elephants between 2015 and 2019 in India. Conflict is fairly rampant in North East India According to the Wildlife Trust of India, between 2015 and 2018, there were over 1,100 human-elephant conflict incidents in Assam, resulting in the deaths of more than 370 elephants and over 400 human lives.

Poaching and Illegal Trade

Poaching for ivory and other body parts remains a significant threat to Indian elephants. Although the trade in ivory is illegal, there is still a demand in the international black market, which drives poaching activities. According to the Wildlife Protection Society of India, between 2015 and 2019, there were over 170 reported cases of elephant poaching and illegal trade in India.

Electrocution and Accidents

In 2021, a tragic incident occurred in Odisha when two elephants were electrocuted after coming in contact with a live wire installed illegally to protect crops. As human settlements expand into elephant habitats, there is an increased risk of elephants coming into contact with electric fences and other hazardous structures. Electrocution poses a significant threat to the survival of these gentle giants. According to a report by the Elephant Task Force, around 400 elephants were killed due to electrocution between 2009 and 2019 in India.

Climate Change

In 2019, Kerala faced severe drought conditions, affecting the availability of water and food for wildlife, including elephants. This led to an increase in conflicts as elephants searched for sustenance. Climate change poses indirect threats to elephants in India. Changing weather patterns, including extended droughts and unpredictable rainfall, can alter the availability of food and water sources for elephants, while also excaberating habitat loss. Unforunately The impacts of climate change on Indian elephants are difficult to quantify directly, but the changing climate patterns are posing challenges to their survival.

So what is being done to save the Indian Elephant?

Project Elephant

Project Elephant, launched in 1992, is a flagship conservation initiative led by the Government of India. Its primary aim is to ensure the long-term survival and well-being of the Indian elephant by focusing on the conservation of elephants and their habitats. The initiative has brought together various stakeholders, including government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and local communities, to work collaboratively on elephant conservation.

Under Project Elephant, several Elephant Reserves have been established across India to protect and manage elephant habitats. These reserves act as safe havens for elephants and other wildlife and enable the development of comprehensive conservation strategies. For example, the Mudumalai Elephant Reserve in Tamil Nadu has successfully reduced human-elephant conflicts by implementing community-based initiatives. Moreover, helping creat conservation enterprises projects, such as wildlife tourism and elephant dung products, can also help build tolerance.

Habitat Conservation and Corridor Connectivity

The Indian elephant’s survival depends on the availability of suitable habitats and the connectivity between these habitats. Over the years, rapid urbanization, agricultural expansion, and infrastructural development have resulted in significant habitat loss and fragmentation. As a resultm elephant populations have become isolated while their migratory routes disrupted.

To address this issue, conservation organizations, along with government bodies, have worked towards preserving existing habitats and creating corridor linkages between fragmented areas. For example, the Kalakkad Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve in Tamil Nadu exemplifies this approach. Efforts here have focused on restoring degraded habitats, afforestation, and creating wildlife corridors to allow elephants to move freely between forest patches. As a result, this has reduced human-elephant conflicts and promoted genetic diversity among populations.

Human-Elephant Conflict Mitigation

One of the most pressing challenges in Indian elephant conservation is the escalating conflict between humans and elephants. As elephants’ natural habitats shrink and their traditional migratory paths are blocked, they often venture into human settlements in search of food and water. As a result, conflicts with local communities is imminent. Such conflicts result in loss of human lives, crop damage, and retaliatory killings of elephants.

Various innovative methods have been employed to mitigate human-elephant conflict. These include the use of chili-based barriers and beehive fences to deter elephants from entering farmlands. Elephants are averse to the smell and sound of chili and bees. Additionally, the creation of dedicated Elephant Response Teams (ERTs) has proved effective in swiftly responding to conflict situations and guiding elephants back to the forests safely. Conservation organizations, like the Wildlife Trust of India, have played a pivotal role in implementing these conflict mitigation measures.

Anti-Poaching Efforts

Poaching poses a severe threat to the Indian elephant population, primarily driven by the demand for ivory and other elephant products in illegal wildlife trade. The Wildlife Protection Act of 1972, along with amendments, provides legal protection to elephants, making poaching punishable with strict penalties. However, illegal trade persists, necessitating rigorous anti-poaching measures.

Fortunately, in recent years, there has been a growing focus on intelligence-led anti-poaching operations. Armed forest guards, equipped with advanced surveillance and communication technologies, patrol elephant habitats to prevent poaching incidents. Moreover, partnerships with law enforcement agencies and international organizations have enhanced cross-border cooperation in combatting the illegal wildlife trade. This has resulted in successful seizures of ivory and other elephant products.

How is community-based conservation helping the Indian Elephant?

Involving local communities in elephant conservation efforts is essential for the long-term success of initiatives. Moreover, these communities often bear the brunt of human-elephant conflicts. Therefore these communities are integral to the conservation landscape. Engaging them in conservation helps build awareness. Moreover, community based conservation also empowers them to become custodians of the environment.

Several organizations have implemented community-based conservation programs that provide sustainable livelihood options to local communities. These alternative livelihood projects help promote conservation practices. For instance, the Foundation for Ecological Security (FES) has worked with tribal communities in the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve to restore degraded forests and water resources. As a result of empowering communities to manage their resources responsibly, FES has significantly contributed to elephant habitat conservation.

DMG Entertainment is a global media and entertainment company with holdings and operations across motion pictures, television, comic book publishing, gaming, next-gen technology and location-based entertainment. The studio's most recognizable films include Looper (2012), Iron Man 3 (2013), Playmobil: The Movie (2019), and Bloodshot (2020).

History[edit]

DMG Entertainment began as a film production company that was founded by Dan Mintz, Bing Wu, and Peter Xiao.[1] In the late 2000s, DMG began distribution of non-Chinese films in Chinese theaters, including Twilight and Knowing.[2]

Film production was added to DMG's portfolio in 2009, and its first production was The Founding of a Republic (2009). DMG also contributed to the productions of Looper (2012) and Iron Man 3 (2013) and distributed the films in theaters in China.[1] DMG became involved with Looper as Endgame Entertainment's Chinese partner. After the companies closed the deal in January 2011, changes to film production included casting Chinese actress Summer Qing and setting part of the film in Shanghai. DMG's involvement allowed it to distribute the film in China at the same time as its international premiere, where there was usually 'a blackout period' before non-Chinese films could be screened in China.[3] Although Chinese regulators did not grant Looper official co-production status, DMG's involvement with Looper as a Chinese company permitted its distribution of the film. Variety reported, 'That means that the film could be considered domestically Chinese, which can provide the same benefits as a co-production.'[4]

DMG also contributed as a production partner for Marvel Studios' Iron Man 3, though Disney and DMG withdrew plans to apply for official co-production status in China. It was reported that the company benefited from 'strong connections' with Chinese government officials and the state-run film enterprise China Film Group. The trade paper said, 'The journeys of 'Looper' and 'Iron Man 3' were not exactly smooth, with questions over whether they would qualify as co-productions, which enjoy vital benefits in distribution, immunity from blackout periods and a far greater revenue share.' Mintz said DMG's involvement with the films has helped validate its approach to the Chinese film market.[1]

According to Variety report, In October 2016, DMG Entertainment acquired film and licensing rights to Brandon Sanderson's “Cosmere', a series of interconnected fantasy novels, for future screen adaptation. The company also committed to spending $270 million for the first 3 movies which is about half the budget for the future project.[5]

DMG Interactive[edit]

In 2017, DMG Entertainment launched DMG VR, a new division focused on immersive storytelling. As part of a new project, DMG introduced Arcturus, a DMG subsidiary firm developing interactive VR technologies.[6] In 2016 it became known that, DMG also acquired the VR rights to Hasbro’s Transformers franchise, a live-action attraction and a theme park for Transformers Universe featuring its most notable characters in interactive environment using VR technologies.[7] The first 'digital simulation center' started in spring 2017 in Shanghai. There were also reports on 'DMG developing a Transformers Live show in collaboration with S2BN.'[8]

Valiant Entertainment[edit]

DMG Entertainment was majority shareholder of the books and comics publisher Valiant Comics since 2014, allowing it to have a significant impact on the company's recent development. Following the full acquisition of comic publisher Valiant Entertainment in 2018, DMG added two new divisions - Books & Comics and Video Games, that gave DMG control over Valiant’s interactive library, the third largest Universe of over 2,000 superhero characters including “X-O Manowar” and “Bloodshot”. As a result, DMG had a deal with Valiant to produce five movies based on Bloodshot and Harbinger.[9][10][11]

In September 2019, it was announced that Paramount Pictures had acquired the rights to the Harbinger movie from Sony, with Neal Moritz, Toby Jaffe and Dan Mintz attached as producers.[12][13]DMG’s Valiant Entertainment most recently produced Bloodshot alongside Sony Pictures, starring Vin Diesel as the titular superhero in what's likely to be the first of several comic book movies based in the world of Valiant Comics.[14][15]

DMG’s Valiant Entertainment has teamed with Blowfish Studios, the indie game developer behind such games as Siegecraft and Gunscape, to develop a slate of multiplatform video games featuring the popular characters from the company’s superhero universe. They will start with Valiant Universe Game, the first multi-platform Valiant video game since Acclaim’s acquisition of the company back in the ‘90’s.[16][17] The fan-favorite action-adventure game, Shadow Man Remaster, was announced with Nightdive Studios for release in 2021. The remaster will feature 4K resolution; improved shadow mapping, per-pixel lighting, and anti-aliasing; and the restoration of content that was cut from the original game, among other enhancements.[18]

Trump received 73 million votes in the election. That's 10 million more than he received in 2016. Does a 10,000,000 increase smack of voter fraud to you? If the system was rigged against Trump, how did he surpass his former total by 10 million votes? Trump didn't lose because of voter fraud or because votes were improperly counted. He lost because Biden, who received 78 million votes, beat him "fair and square."

Despite the huge body of evidence which proves that Trump is a pathological liar, millions and millions of people continue to believe whatever Trump says. They believe Trump's claim that he is the victim of "voter fraud." They believe Trump's claim that recounts will overturn the results of the election.

Trump's latest lies are very, very dangerous. He is attacking the very foundation of our democracy. He is trying to permanently undermine the credibility of our elections. This is very serious stuff.

If you are a Trump voter, I beg you to ignore Trump's lies about voter fraud and recounts. It is very important that you believe in the integrity of our elections. Please look at the facts instead of Trump's lies. Isn't your loyalty to America, and to our democracy, more important than your loyalty to Trump? Please don't damage America by believing, and repeating, Trump's dangerous lies.

Let me give you the facts. Please consider these facts with an open mind. The facts don't lie.

1. VOTER FRAUD IS VIRTUALLY NONEXISTENT IN AMERICA.

A. Think about how our elections for president work. There are 50 "mini-elections," one in each state. Right off the bat, there are 50 state officials (usually the Secretary of State) monitoring the elections. Every official has a big staff. To rig an election, the officials and their staffs would have to coordinate with each other. There's no way that a bunch of election officials, and hundreds of staff people, could wrongfully influence an election without getting caught.

B. Keep thinking about the process. In every state, there is a county election official who monitors the election activity in their county. Within each county, there are dozens of "district captains" who monitor the election activity in their district. At each polling place, there is a manager who monitors the election activity at that polling place. Once again, all of these administrators are surrounded by hundreds and hundreds of staff people. In short, within each state there are thousands of people who monitor election activity. Voting fraud would involve coordination between hundreds of people. They couldn't do it without getting caught.

C. On top of everything else, there are "observers" all over the election process. Every step is observed and monitored by members of the political parties. Every step is observed by members of the media. For voter fraud to occur, a number of observers would have to be involved. It doesn't happen. If it did, the other observers would sound the alarm.

D. Common sense alone should tell you the people who run our elections don't engage in voter fraud. Our process involves too many people. There are too many eyes on the process. In addition to the fact that it would be wrong, election officials don't attempt to manipulate the process because they'd be caught. When Trump says that the election officials from Blue States engage in voter fraud, he's lying.

E. If you don't trust what your common sense tells you about the integrity of our elections officials, try Google. I dare you to find a case where an election official was caught engaged in voter fraud. It doesn't happen.

F. Voter fraud by individual voters happens so rarely that it never influences the outcome of an election. A recent study by the Brennan Center for Justice found that the chance of getting struck by lightning is greater than the chance that an individual voter will commit voter fraud.

G. If you're a Trump supporter, don't take my word that individual voter fraud is an extremely rare and inconsequential occurrence. Maybe you'll listen to the Heritage Foundation, an extremely right-wing organization that actively supports Trump. The people at Heritage did a major study of "mail ballot voter fraud" and "in-person voter fraud." For mail ballots, they analyzed 250 million ballots cast between 2000 and 2019. They only found 193 fraudulent ballots. Thus, the fraud rate was 0.00007%. Let's call it 0%. For in-person voting, the Heritage folks picked 6 suspicious states and they looked at all votes cast for 16 years. They were looking for things like voter impersonation, multiple voting, voting by non-citizens, and voting for dead people. They found only 13 cases of in- person voting fraud. Let's call that O% too. The point is that even the very conservative Heritage Foundation admits that in-person voting fraud is virtually nonexistent. Trump is lying when he talks about individual voters committing voter fraud. Don't listen to him. (Trump supporters might question anything from Loyola University, but they studied 1,000,000 in-person votes--from 2000 to 2014--and found only 31 fraudulent votes.)

H. I can bore you all day with stories that prove that voter fraud is a myth. Let me give you 3 quick examples that might be convincing to Republicans:

▪The Secretary of State in Kansas, Kris Kobach, is a huge Trump supporter. After the 2016 election, he spent 2 years looking for voter fraud in Kansas. He found 9 cases.

▪There was recently a lawsuit in Texas regarding its strict Voter ID law. Texas is very pro-Trump.

Evidence in the lawsuit included the results of a voter fraud investigation that had been done by the Texas Special Investigations Unit from 2002-2014. The investigation found 2 cases of voter fraud.

▪Before the 2016 election, the Republican Governor of Florida (Rick Scott) launched a major effort to purge noncitizens from the voting rolls. They reviewed the records of 12,000,000 voters. They identified 85 wrongfully registered noncitizens, but only 1 of them had ever voted. I'm glad I didn't pay for that investigation.

I. I like court cases. I'm sure you don't want to hear about the hundreds of court decisions which find that voter fraud is virtually nonexistent in America. For Trump supporters, let me provide three quick examples from Republican states:

▪In a 2016 elections case in Texas, referring to the time period from 2004 to 2014, the federal court found that there were "only two convictions for in-person voter impersonation fraud out of 20 million votes cast in the decade."

▪In a 2016 case in North Carolina, the federal court found that the state "failed to identify even a single individual who has ever been charged with in-person voting fraud in North Carolina."

▪In a 2016 case in Indiana, the home of Mike Pence, the state Supreme Court found that there was "no evidence of any in-person voter fraud actually occurring in Indiana at any time in its history."

J. This week, with respect to the 2020 election, The New York Times contacted the top election officials in all 50 states. The Times asked if the state had encountered any statistically relevant illegal voting. Not surprisingly, 49 states reported no relevant voting issues. Texas, of course, did not respond.

K. The Department of Homeland Security, part of the Trump Administration, just issued a report with respect to the 2020 election. It says that: "The November 3rd election was the most secure in American history." It also says that: "There is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised." Those are the words of Trump's own people.

L. I have end the voter fraud discussion here so I can make a few comments about the ridiculousness of recounts. All Americans, especially Trump supporters, should have full confidence in our electoral process. The facts show that voter fraud--by election officials or by individual voters--is virtually nonexistent in America. Trump is lying when he complains about voter fraud.

2. RECOUNTS WON'T CHANGE THE OUTCOME OF THE ELECTION

A. Trump is also lying when he claims that he will win after the votes are recounted in a few states. The history of recounts proves that Trump is a liar.

B. In effect, the presidential election is 50 separate statewide elections. An organization called "Fair Vote" has studied every statewide election from 2000 to 2019. Here are the facts:

▪There were 5,778 statewide elections.

▪There were 31 recounts.

▪ Only 3 recounts overturned the original results of the election. In all those cases, the original margin of victory was less that 2,600 votes.

▪In the 31 recounts, the average shift of votes was 430 (0.02%). The largest shift of votes was 2,600 (0.11%).

C. Thus, history tells us that recounts normally do not change the vote tally very much. For the sake of argument, let's say that the shift might be 500 votes.

D. Right now in this election, here are the vote deficits that Trump would have to overcome in the key states:

▪Wisconsin = 20,500

▪ Michigan = 145,000

▪ Pennsylvania = 55,000

▪ Arizona = 12,000

▪ Nevada = 36,000

▪Georgia = 14,000

Those deficits won't be eliminated by recounts. Trump would have to win several recounts to win the election. It's not going to happen. Trump is lying when he says he is going to win the recount war.

E. Thankfully, the courts follow the law and aren't hypnotized by Trump's recount fantasies. So far, Trump has launched 16 lawsuits related to recount issues. He's lost 15 of those cases. He won a minor Pennsylvania case that involved a small number of mail-in ballots that were received after a deadline. Those ballots had never been counted because the cautious election officials had set them aside pending the legal ruling.

F. This is a good place for me to note an obvious point regarding recounts. In the Senate races across the country, Republicans did better than expected. In House races, Republicans did better than expect. In general, Republicans are very pleased with how the votes were counted in the various states. Why is Trump the only one asking for recounts? Trump's opponents desperately wanted to win control of the Senate. If anti-Trump forces were rigging the election, why didn't they rig a few Senate races too? Trump's position makes no sense. Trump sticks out like a sore thumb.

G. It's instructive to look at 2 particular examples involving Republicans:

▪There was a big Senate race in Arizona. The Republican candidate, who got fewer votes than Trump, was defeated. She is not seeking a recount. If she thought there was a problem with how the votes were counted, wouldn't she want a recount too? Why is Trump the only person who is talking about recounts with respect to Arizona?

▪In a Michigan Senate race, a Republican candidate got the same number of votes as Trump and lost. He is not seeking a recount. Why is Trump still making noise about a Michigan recount, where he lost by 145,000 votes?

H. Everybody should disregard all of the noise about recounts. The election is over. Recounts are not going to change the outcome.

Let me conclude by focusing on Trump's dangerous behavior. It's been a week since Biden was declared the winner. The writing is on the wall. Is Trump unable to concede, or is he simply unwilling to do so?

Many who know Trump personally say that he is unable to concede. They say that his psychological deficits make it impossible for him to take personal responsibility for any setback. The same psychological deficits prevent Trump from removing himself from the spotlight. If Trump doesn't keep fighting, he will no longer be the center of attention. Trump can't do that to himself.

Others say that Trump is unwilling to concede because a concession is not in his self interest. Most people in this camp think that Trump is planning to launch his own media company. He needs to keep the controversy going until late January so his followers subscribe to his new outlet. His initial ratings will be better if he is dragged, kicking and screaming, from the White House. He's afraid that he will be forgotten, and his ratings will suffer, if he concedes now and acts rationally for the rest of his term.

I don't really care about Trump's psychological issues or his offensive commercial motivations. I care about the fact that, by spewing fake claims about voter fraud and recounts, he is damaging America. There is nothing we can do about Trump. Individually, however, we can each fight back against his lies. We should renounce his false claims, and we shouldn't spread his false claims. The facts, set forth above, reveal the truth. The election is over. Joe Biden will be the next president. Let's move on, and let's reject all attacks on our democracy.

Como nos pasa cada final de año, la ola de rumores y filtrados es enorme y no hacen más que llenarnos de información -cierta y falsa- de los teléfonos inteligentes que veremos en el primer semestre del año que viene y este año la cosa no iba a ser distinta, empezamos con los rumores del Huawei P40 Pro y la distribución de sus múltiples cámaras traseras y seguimos con el Galaxy S11 de Samsung, otro que no pondrá limites al momento de hablar de cámaras.

Lo que nos llega ahora correspondería al Galaxy S11 y S11+ y viene gracias a los chicos de OnLeaks, quienes filtraron imágenes de varios readers que muestran lo que la firma coreana nos presentaría el otro año, tanto en diseño como en especificaciones técnicas principales:

For Canon, 2019 was all about filling out its new EOS R full-frame mirrorless lineup. To that end, the company officially launched several new lenses, including the RF-mount 'holy trinity' of F2.8 zooms. From our initial shooting, these new lenses are truly impressive. Meanwhile, the RF 24-240mm is a versatile go-everywhere zoom for EOS R and RP shooters.

Mario Kart Tour está muy pronto a llegar de manera oficial a iOS y Android.

No fuimos pocos los que esperábamos que llegara ese momento en que Nintendo terminara de hacer las cosas tan alejado de lo que hacía el resto y se subiera al mundo de los dispositivos móviles como un participante más, después de todos, era la compañía que más tenía para ofrecer al mercado de iOS y Android, tenían un publico fiel, tenían franquicias importantes para llegar con todo a competir, solo tenían que renunciar por un momento a su “clásica forma de hacer las cosas”, y cuando se atrevieron con Mario Run, quedó demostrado que el mundo de los smartphones era un rubro que merecía ser explotado por ellos también.

No creo necesario recordar el impacto que tuvo Super Mario Run en su llegada a los sistemas operativos móviles, si hasta algunos youtubers que ni se dedicaban al mundo del gaming tuvieron varios videos explicando incluso como “engañar” al videojuego.

Pues bien, la ruta esta trazada, Nintendo había sido aceptado en el gaming de teléfonos inteligentes y solo había que comenzar a crear nuevos títulos, y de ahí surgió algo que ya todos veíamos como la jugada más lógica, si Mario Run ya había cautivado el corazón de la gente, como no seguir con Mario Kart, y así fue como en cosa de meses nos anunciaban que Mario Kart Tour ya estaba en camino.

Para no hacer la historia tan larga, desde que hicieron el anuncio hasta el lanzamiento de la beta hubo un periodo largo de retrasos que nos hicieron esperar más de la cuenta, hasta que hace 4 meses terminó por abrirse la beta y ahora nos anuncian que todo estaría listo para liberarse de forma masiva, aunque muy posiblemente escalonada, como suele pasar con este tipo de estrenos.

La cosa quedó así, el juego estará disponible a partir del 25 de Septiembre del 2019 para dispositivos iOS y Android y desde ya preparan todo en la web de Nintendo para el gran suceso y el inicio del pre registro, lo que hará las veces de “fila” para poder tener tu lugar en la descarga, esto ultimo no es mas idea ya que por lo general este tipo de lanzamientos registran millones de usuarios intentando bajar la aplicación y eso pone en aprietos el funcionamiento de todo si no se controla el acceso, por lo que este pre registro permitiría un mayor orden entre todos los que esperan con ansias este titulo.

Sobre el juego todo se ha mantenido bastante hermético, hay información como la rotación de los escenarios que serían ciudades icónicas del mundo real y que veríamos que cambian cada par de semanas, y que el juego pertenecerá a la modalidad “free-to-start”, que quiere decir que lo puedes descargar y jugar, pero que te vas a topar con micro transacciones que podrían hacer de tu experiencia de juego algo un poco menos emocionante que la del resto, y esperamos desde el fondo del corazón que Nintendo no cometa el mismo error que con Mario Run que por mucho tiempo hablo de “juego gratuito” para al final pegarnos el palo en la cabeza con que solo una parte del juego era gratis y para acceder al resto había que pagar, y no precisamente poco dinero.

Esperaremos con ansias la llegada de Mario Kart Tour, nos registraremos e intentaremos tenerlo en cuanto salga para darles nuestra opinión de este nuevo titulo de Nintendo.

TerasBiker.com – Assalammualaikum, Halo Sobat Bikers sekalian….di sela kegiatan Sunmori All Riders Suzuki yang di ikuti hampir 1.500 Bikers dari berbagai wilayah di Jabodetabek ternyata terselip motor Matik Suzuk NEX II hasil modifikasi Apik yang ikut meramaikan kegiatan Sunmori tersebut pada hari minggu pagi lalu (06/10), dimana Suzuki NEX II ini tampil beda dan berhasil menjadi pusat perhatian.

Adalah bro Mamet Rahardi Si pemilik Suzuki NEX II Modifikasi Cross-over yang basiknya adalah NEX II Elegant Premium versi standar dengan warna Matte Black, Keinginannya memiliki tampilan beda dari Suzuki NEX II miliknya ini terinspirasi dari varian baru Suzuki NEX II yakni versi Cross yang belum lama di rilis PT SIS (Suzuki Indomobil Sales) yang menurut doi terkesan nangguang, akhirnya dengan imaginasi yang ada menggerakan bro mamet ini untuk menjadikan Suzuki NEX II miliknya sesuai harapannya berubah jadi Suzuki NEX II Cross-Over dengan stang tanpa Cover/batok ala Adventure gitu!

Modifikasi Suzuki NEX II ala Adventure

Setelah Tebe menggali informasi, ternyata hasil modifikasi custom khusus area stangnya aja dengan beberapa part pendukung lain seperti Handle rem kiri, switch kontak kiri-kanan, speedometer dan raiser klo di total biaya yang dikeluarkan kurang lebih sekitar 1,5jt-an. Oh iya…biaya segitu baru ubahan di bagian stang dan printilannya aja ya, Untuk repaint body dan striping baru ala NEX II Cross beda lagi hehehe. Untuk proses pengerjaannya sendiri dikebut cuma 4 hari infonya, dan memang masih belum final tapi dengan waktu yang singkat aja udah rapih jali begitu ya apalagi dikerjain santai.

      Oke biar gak penasaran yuk kita bedah apa aja sih yang dibutuhin untuk merubah stang Suzuki NEX II seperti Honda BeatStreet yang tanpa cover itu, beriut adalah beberapa part yang digunakan :

Bagian Stang Honda Beat Street, Model fatbar yang keren dan kuat pastinya.

Raiser bawah menggunakan bekas Suzuki Thunder 125 dan atasnya pake punya Suzuki GSX-S125 (eropa)

Untuk pegangan raiser/mountingnya beserta cover bawah semua dikerjakan secara custom.

Handle Rem Kiri menggunakan milik Suzuki Address yang ada parking locknya.

Bagian Saklar/Holder switch lampu-lampu kiri-kanan pake kepunyaan suzuki Lest, cakep dah bulet-bulet buat nempet di stang.

Nah..khusus bagian speedometer biar ga banyak ubahan, Bro Mamet pake punya merk sebelah hehehe, Speedometer milik Yamaha X-Ride jadi pilihannya, biar simple dan gak repot ubahannya kata doi.
