Classics x Dark Academia
Forgets to study for Latin grammar but instead devote all their time to memorising tons of Latin phrases and quotes, Homer and Virgil’s texts are the sacred gods and there’s a shrine built around them, late nights translating Ancient Greek, Dictionaries are strewn everywhere, Accidental tea/coffee stains on the desk and pages of books, Books everywhere, “How about picking up French or German” although struggling with finishing essays, BUST HEADS!!!!, “Let’s start a cult for Apollo, I don’t care if it is 2am, we are doing it right now”, Burns sacrifices to the muse Calliope, comptine d'un autre été playing in loop in the background, “Which Cleitus are we talking about now?”, tweed, coats, nights, star-gazing, Wonder how it would be like if Nero lived now, More tea, scarves, wears no makeup, love the dark eye circles under the eyes, libraries, mix of coffee and vanilla scent, hint of cinnamon, hair’s a mess because life’s menace, pulvis et umbra sumus, black ink on yellowing paper, cursive, museums, statues, a phone gallery filled with DA aesthetic, hand-written, libraries, fireplaces, sells their soul to whoever willing to take it to bring back Ancient figures so they can question them themselves for dissertation, supposed to be reading up on ancient rome but actually reading modern literature, most likely to start a cult around the Olympians
