station cafe - romance between a soccer player and a webtoon artist (gn! reader)
warning: boring tbh (+ too many words)
note: wrote this during while my professor was yapping so hopefully it's okay
itoshi rin hated whenever his practice games were played for too long. he’d like to blame it on his teammates who couldn’t stop goofing around every minute.
“last train for station 2 is leaving”, the loud speakers announced
rin froze thinking he must have misheard the announcement but when it repeated again, his legs began moving without him even thinking. speed walking through the busy salespeople and students, he nearly made it to the train. he could see the gates of the train and he wanted to yell for it to not close but he didn’t. he stopped and slowed down as he watched the gates shut tight.
the train had left for station 2
the last train
he fished out for his phone to check the train schedule. he wasn’t too familiar with the train routes other than the one he usually took. lucky for rin, the next train for station 2 is set for 5 pm
“5 pm?”, rin mumbled to himself seeing that it was only 3:07 pm
what was he supposed to do with all this freetime? he never gave himself that much time. he used every second to practise soccer and to be on top. to defeat his no good of an excuse brother and win the world cup. now what? it’s not like he had any friends nearby
that’s how the younger itoshi wandered into a random cafe near the station. opening the door, he could smell the coffee bean aroma filling the room. he walked to the counter and was greeted by the cashier, who in his opinion, was overly energetic for no reason.
ordering his favourite tea and bread, rin settled at a seat beside the window of the cafe. there weren't a lot of people except for you, seated at the next table. while rin normally didn’t act like a busybody, he was curious as to what you were doing. he could see a lot of papers scattered around the table. they looked like… character designs? are you an avid fan of a series he’s never seen before?
he couldn’t help but notice how absorbed you were on your computer with a drawing tablet attached to it. oh so you’re marking papers? you did look rather young to be a teacher. well it was none of his business. he brushed away any lingering questions and silently enjoyed his tea. tuning into the latest soccer clip between bastard münchen and manshine city, rin booed both parties since he didn’t support any of them and took the time to criticise their play style
he was watching the so-called ‘hat trick’ when a paper flew directly on his face, blocking the match. almost instantly, he heard a small worried yell and a hand reached to remove the paper that didn’t allow him to see anything. why did this remind him of a heavily scripted shojo manga?
“i’m so so sorry! are you okay?”, a voice asked and rin looked up to see the you in front of him this time
“i’m fine”, rin replied short not wanting to engage in the conversation
“they turned on the stand fan so my papers flew everywhere!”, you groaned
that’s when rin looked away from his phone and looked up to you. or more specifically, the paper dancing loosely between your fingers. it definitely looked like a detailed study of a character. just how much of an avid fan are you? then again he couldn't say much himself as he was in his own obsession over soccer. seeing how hard he was staring at the paper, you moved it behind you, allowing your skirt to hide the paper
“i’m a webtoon artist. i have a lot of papers because i came back from a small meeting”, you said taking a seat at the empty chair in front of him
“im [name]! i think i've seen you somewhere haven’t i?”, you asked going through the train of thoughts
“i play soccer”, another short reply followed by a tsk
“oh yeah!! aren’t you the captain for the eleven team against the national team? i watched your match on tv, you were pretty awesome”, you remembered
even though rin didn’t want to engage in the one-sided conversation, he couldn’t help but hear more than the commentary of his discarded phone (which was turned off later on).
itoshi rin picked up a new habit. after his everyday practice, he’d make his way to the cafe near the station. he would order his favourite tea and bread but this time, an extra iced chocolate for you. he sits in his usual seat beside the window and waits. not long he’d see the door open to see you enter. today was rather chilly so it made sense for you to wear your favourite red sweater with white stripes. scanning the room, your eyes lit up seeing a particular teal eyes locking contact with you. a comfortable walk accompanied with a small wave, you made it to your designated seat, in front of him. time would fly as the duo exchange conversations about random topics
rin never realised how he fell for you. maybe it’s the way his heart skips a beat when he sees you? or how he’s obviously less mean to you. in his eyes, you aren’t too bad. you definitely weren’t some lukewarm npc that took up his time. you was someone who he enjoyed talking too. the people around him (or more particularly his teammates) couldn’t help but wonder what made the striker less grumpy
“someone’s in a good mood~”, a singsong shidou said slinging his arm around rin
“right? leaving practice so soon? have a date planned?”, karasu joined in on the teasing
“yeah i do”
that one sentence froze the soccer players. itoshi rin going on.. date? sounded impossible to his teammates. they were dumbfounded at how rin even got a date. a familiar ringtone caught the attention of rin and he peeked his phone to see your text. he kept your ringtone different from the rest of his usual notifications. grabbing his duffle bag, itoshi rin left his obviously curious teammates to go see you at your usual spots
the cafe beside the station

One Step at a Time {Prologue}
Idol!Hongjoong x fem!reader
wc: 898
summary: you always let your work speak for you, never taking the spotlight, or even let people know your name. everything changes once the comfort of anonymity gets pulled from you.
warnings: not edited
a/n: so instead of doing a full ot8 fic, which to me, became slightly overwhelming and constantly changing, I decided to write individual fics (maybe with some pairings 👀). this is the first installment of my first idea and I throughly enjoy this idea.
Chapter 1
✼ ҉ ҉ ҉ ҉ ✼ ✼ ҉ ҉ ҉ ҉ ✼
You normally don’t attend these kinds of events. The ones where celebrities flaunt themselves in front of cameras and pose, accepting awards for things that are essentially meaningless in the grand scheme of the world. It’s not like you could talk though. You were the one who dressed them.
Extravagant gowns and luxurious suits, all custom made to each person's boring specifications. Glitter, sparkle, shine, mute. It was all the same, but that’s what sold. That’s what made your brand a household name.
You sighed as you stood on the side lines, watching your latest creation walk down the red carpet. A deep red that almost matched the carpet, something that you had heavily advised against, with a halter top. The skirt of the dress was the most exciting part of it, and yet you still found it basic. A long slit that reached the upper thigh and a train that dragged a little behind the model. Granted, it was almost scandalous for Korean standards, but being from a country where people actually care about creativity in their clothing, it was bland.
You tsk’d as you saw it. The actress, whose name you've long forgotten, beamed at the cameras, and she did look stunning, so you couldn’t be too upset.
Dispatch went wild over her, talking over themselves to get her attention. Reporters shoving microphones in her face, and she smiled graciously at all of them. You envied her for that. You always hated the spotlight.
“Soomin!” Ah. So that was her name. “Soomin!” One male reporter's voice was heard over the rest. “Who are you wearing tonight?” He asked, the little handheld microphone shoved almost in her mouth when she turned towards him.
Her smile grew as she locked eyes with you over the shoulder of the reporter. “Oh! I’m wearing a custom Luxe design!” She beamed at the chorus of “oohs” and “aahs” came from the reporters.
You scoffed and rolled your eyes, her eyes watching your every move. A smirk crossed her features. “Actually. I believe that’s their founder over there.” She slowly leaned forward and pointed in your direction, the reporters and cameramen’s eyes following where she pointed. Your face drained of color as you were immediately rushed by a mob of people.
Countless flashing of camera lights, many people yelling their questions at you, you saw the actress smirk at you, and turn in her heel, flicking her hair over her shoulder, almost in a show of dominance. She got lost in the crowd and you lost sight of her.
“What inspiration did you get for designing Soomins dress?”
“Are you really the creator of Luxe?”
“Why haven’t you shown your face to the public before?”
You blinked at the voices as the onslaught of questions came. The cameras flashing nonstop as your quiet observation spot in the shadows became too crowded and too frenzied as mics, people and cameras came at you from every angle.
You froze, eyes widening as it dawned on you just what Ji Soomin had done. She broke her contract. She exposed you.
Your eyes quickly scanned the area around you, looking for a way out, when a flash of bright red hair and a yellow blazer caught your eye. “If you excuse me,” you said as politely as you could, slipping into the crowd of people, immediately blending in with them with your black on black attire.
Your assistant fell into step next to you as soon as she saw you, a frown on her face. It didn’t stop her from commenting. “Soomin made a bold move.” She focused on her iPad for a moment, swiping a few things and poking others with her pen. “Should I backlist her?”
You entered an empty hallway, grabbed Haewon, and pulled her into the corner behind the doors you just entered. “Ow” she complained, rubbing the area you had grabbed her.
You sucked in a deep breath, thumb and pointer finger going to the bridge of your nose as you calmed down from your inner panic. “Blacklisting her will do nothing but cause more drama and have Dispatch at our doorstep more than they’re about to be. It’s not worth it. All Soomin is a petty child who won’t let the grudge she has for me die because her ex wanted me to dress him.” You shrugged, shoving your hands into your slacks. “I’m not risking my reputation over a childish dispute. Even if she did break the contract.”
Haewon sighed in disappointment. “You’re no fun.” She pouted.
You rolled your eyes at her. “I’m a professional, not a child.” You tsk’d at her, pushing yourself off of the wall and heading to a small pair of double doors at the end of the hallway.
Haewon struggled to keep up, her heels clacking down the hallway as she sped to keep step with you. “Where are you going?” She sounded a little out of breath, which made you smile fondly at her.
“Out.” You reached your destination, a door you pushed open, once again revealing the crisp spring air. You walked out, not even bothering to look over your shoulder. “I have a feeling a storm is coming.”
A small squeak and the sounds of small, rushed footsteps made you chuckle as you walked into the city of Incheon. Away from the celebrities and back into your comfort of anonymity.

Annotated You Belong At Pride
I didn’t give a specific “extended acronym” here because we’re constantly cycling through new ones. Possibly the earliest one was “GBLTF” — with the F standing for either “Friends” or “Fiends”, whichever you preferred. Just off the top of my head, I’ve been around for LGBTTSQQIAA, LGBTQQAAIIP2K, MOGAI, and QUILTBAG, and all of those had fallen into disuse by the time I wrote this strip, let alone the time this annotated version comes around.
Cookies if you can unpack them all now without googling.
The point is, whatever letter(s) you go by: as long as you support all of them, you belong. “I’m a straight cis ace, can I still–” Yes, as long as you’re gonna be cool, show up and be welcome! “My hobby is saying mean things on the internet about trans people, but I’m gay, so–” No, you’re being a dick, go away, I don’t care how gay you are. And so on.
Had to resurrect Jessica Lake to fill up the “ally” panel, because she, Naresh, and Köhler are very nearly the only straight/cis people in the entire cast. (…Ann Walker counts too, but she wouldn’t show up to a pride parade. Miranda doesn’t count, since she falls under “questioning.”)
The labrys lesbian flag, on Connie and Jany, was designed in 2000 by Sean Campbell. Sharon’s skirt has my favorite “present-day lesbian flag redesign.”
If you love and support LGBT+ people, you belong at Pride.
Doesn’t matter if you’re the L, the G, the B, or the T,
or if you prefer one of the other letters in the latest version of the extended acronym,
or even if you are the straightest, cis-est person in the world. Or maybe you don’t have yourself all figured out yet. That’s fine too!
Naresh: Eyyyy.
Miranda: Okay, definitely not you.
You can be here to celebrate yourself, your family, your friends and your loved ones, and/or basic human decency.
– I Love My Gay Sister
– LGBT Rights Are Human Rights
As long as you champion our rights to love who we want, live who we choose, have access to whatever medical treatment we need and all the legal equality we deserve,
then you belong at Pride. No matter who you are. Come out and celebrate with the rest of us.

Kiawentiio Grew Up with Avatar: The Last Airbender. Twice.
The actress, who plays Katara in the new Netflix adaptation, has a long history with the show—and took care to honor it on premiere night.
The 17-year-old Kiawentiio (pronounced gya-wuhn-dee-yo) is fortunate to have grown up with older siblings: They had the raised-on-cable insight to show her Avatar: The Last Airbender. The hugely popular animated series, which premiered on Nickelodeon in 2005—almost a full year before Kiawentiio was born—slowly became a backdrop to her childhood on the Akwesasne Mohawk reservation in Ontario known as Kawehno:ke, or Cornwall Island. When, years later, all three seasons dropped on Netflix and topped the streamer’s charts, Kiawentiio watched the show again with new eyes—and a new appreciation. She was mere months away from an official announcement, introducing her to legions of Avatar fans as the actress who’d play Katara in Netflix’s live-action adaptation.
Katara, as Kiawentiio puts it, is “the heart of the group” of characters that round out the main Avatar cast. Among them, of course, is Aang, a century-old Air Nomad with the ability to manipulate the elements and (in theory) save the world from the terrorizing Fire Nation. But his closest partners are siblings Sokka and Katara, the latter of whom is herself a water-bender, capable of moving water with tai chi-inspired motions. “She is the optimistic, hopeful person in this group that keeps them moving forward,” Kiawentiio says. “I feel like that was something that you could definitely tell in the original series, and that’s what I really wanted to keep about her in our adaptation.”
Fidelity to the source material is a sore spot for many Avatar devotees, who were burned during Hollywood’s first attempt at a live-action adaptation. The disastrous 2010 The Last Airbender is notoriously one of the most-hated films ever produced, and it remains something of a warning sign lurking over the latest Netflix adaptation. Don’t make the same mistakes. Kiawentiio understands the fans’ fears and desires, and she welcomes their input, if not exactly the pressure that comes with it. “It definitely is a huge spotlight, and I think it’s important to protect yourself from those things,” she says. But, she admits, “I can understand a lot of opinions and a lot of point of views, so I think, for me, seeing good or bad is helpful to understand ... that point of view of the outside watcher.”
As the new adaptation makes its long-awaited debut on Netflix, Kiawentiio is relishing the opportunity to celebrate what the series has meant to her—not merely as a fan herself, but as an active participant in its impact. She grew up with Avatar twice: first as a child, then as a teenager, having been cast at 14 years old before filming and promoting the project into near-adulthood. When it came time to walk the premiere red carpet as one of the series’ stars, she knew she wanted a gown that would honor the show itself. Working with Indigenous designers Tasha Marie and Evan Ducharme, and stylist Benjamin Holtrop, she dreamed up a beaded corset and mermaid skirt etched with Avatar Easter eggs, and an overall effect like cascading water.
Ahead, Kiawentiio takes ELLE.com behind the scenes of her premiere look, and deeper into her hopes for Avatar’s future.
For the soft, peachy makeup her premiere look called for, Kiawentiio turned to artist Dom Della, who perfected a smudged wing and sun-kissed glow. “For the makeup, I definitely wanted to keep it more subtle, not too in-your-face,” Kiawentiio says. “Especially with the hair and the outfit, I just wanted to keep it—glam, definitely, but simple as well.”
Hair stylist Laura Rugetti affixed Kiawentiio’s long, swooping braid into a crown atop her head, then draped the tail down the actress’s side to hang just below her hip. “In our culture, braids are really significant, and they are actually a form of protection as well, so it was really important to me to incorporate that,” Kiawentiio says.
As proud as she is of her work bringing the new Avatar to life, Kiawentiio is already looking forward to returning to set, should the series get its anticipated green light for season 2. She feels more comfortable as Katara now that she’s spent a few years in the character’s skin.
“I was learning her as we went,” she says, “and I feel like you could see that on screen—when I kind of sank into her character. So I feel like the Katara that we see in [episodes] 7 and 8 is what I would hope to bring to next season. As we all know from the original series, she becomes so much more confident in herself and in her capabilities to stand on her own, so I think that’s something that I’d love to focus on for season 2.”
Kiawentiio’s premiere-night gown was entirely custom-made, and composed of two separate pieces: a corset by Tasha Marie and a skirt by Evan Ducharme. Having walked in one of Marie’s fashion shows before, Kiawentiio capitalized on her relationship with the artist, and drew up a sketch of what she hoped to incorporate in a corset. “We did go back and forth, and she gave me her ideas and I gave her my ideas,” Kiawentiio says. “I thought it would be really cool to incorporate each symbol for the four nations, so that’s in there.”
Other Avatar Easter eggs incorporated into the beadwork include a Pai Sho tile—a piece from a fictional game in the Avatar universe, beloved by the character Uncle Iroh—and a fan used by the show’s Kyoshi warriors.
“Then another favorite thing of mine, a personal touch, was the wolf prints on the side,” Kiawentiio says, “which is actually kind of a double meaning, because I am Wolf Clan, and also Wolf Cove for Katara and where she comes from.”
On the back of the corset are the twin Koi fish Tui and La, which—as fans of the animated series will know—represent the moon and ocean spirits of Avatar. “I knew that that was something I wanted to incorporate,” Kiawentiio says, “and it just turned out so beautifully, and I definitely praise Tasha for how amazing her work has been.”
Ahead of the big night, stylist Benjamin Holtrop reached out to BYCHARI to design custom drop earrings to pair with rings from Dean Davidson. “It was so sweet,” she says. “He surprised me with those custom earrings and they just went perfectly with the whole outfit, and it really was the cherry on top.”
To turn Katara’s water-bending motions into muscle memory, Kiawentiio trained for six weeks ahead of production. “That contained mostly going over tai chi forms and building fight scenes and getting my body used to those movements,” she says. “Also, exercises to get my legs strong enough to handle them, because tai chi consists of a lot of horse stance; you really need strong legs.”
The actress wants to keep Avatar in her life for as long as possible. “I definitely hope for season 2 and season 3—I think we all really want that for this show,” she says. “I am proud of what we’ve done for season 1, but I think there’s just so much to look forward to as well. In the animated series, it just gets better and better each season. So there’s a lot of scenes that I’d love to recreate and relationships that I’d love to see.”

Happy STS! Stick a character (or several) in a different setting, genre, time period, whatever, etc. and tell me how they're dressing! For instance, send a modern character back to Ancient Rome or throw a futuristic character into a high fantasy. Anything to analyze how they'd dress without their current options. 🥰
Oooh, I love this question. Thank you, Tori💜
So in terms of fashion, Days of Dusk is strictly second half of the 18th century, continental Europe, with flat-chest stays, heavy gowns, long robes for men, fur trims, etc. Military uniforms, which are worn by most of the cast most of the time, are modelled after the Napoleonic army. Just to give you the baseline.
I enjoy the aesthetic of a modern AU for them, so that's the time period I'll chuck them into.
Lissan wears comfy everyday wear - trainers, faded jeans, simple t-shirts in not overly bright colours. He's got a couple of years old smartphone with a spiderweb of cracks in one corner and the back scratched by his keys, which he continues to wear in the same pocket.
Marta wears light summer dresses with small floral patterns and light platform sandals. Lissan believes the dress is too short and the neckline is too low, but keeps that to himself. Also, she rides a step-through bike with a wicker basket at the front, and has a few silver, sparkly charms dangling from her handbag.
Ianim is always well dressed, a touch overdressed even. If you know where to look, you'll notice that all of his clothes are bespoke.
Gullin wears a second-hand black leather motorbike jacket and motorbike jeans. Basically, the sort of protective gear that's comfortable enough to walk around in. Yes, he'd wear it even when his bike is nowhere to be seen. His brand-new best of the best smartphone doesn't have a single scratch on it, and he also has a smartwatch and a few other gadgets.
You'll never see Erya in a skirt. She'd wear a dark office suit, off-the-rack and altered to fit her, quite. Also, no heels. Never, ever heels.
Anthea on the other hand always wears skirts. Her outfits are immaculate, with not a single wrinkle on them, and perfectly suited for each occasion. All made to size, of course, from the latest collections of the top designers. Paired with that is delicate jewellery, not that special at the first glance, but it's pretty much all white gold, diamonds, and sapphires. Oh, and her hair is always in an updo, not a single strand out of place.
Varré... I don't honestly know. In canon, they wear both trousers and thick long skirts, whatever they fancy on that day. In general, they'd wear stuff that would make them blend into the crowds.
Catnip gets an honourable mention for always wearing technically office-appropriate outfits, except her button up shirts are juuuust a tiny bit too tight in the bust, and the trousers are a little bit too form-fitting.

muse K and muse L were best friends since diapers . at least until middle school . once they started growing up, muse L always thought of muse K as their best friend while muse K started to feel like they were living in muse L’s shadow . sometimes it even felt as if their own mother loved muse L more . so for muse K, everything became a competition and it became their goal to be better than muse L in anything . so when muse L had to leave for full two months of summer to a foreign country, muse K bloomed . they were main attention focus yet again . made their new friends circle who follows them as lost puppies and has been spotted with muse M in intimate situations, who happens to be muse L’s ex significant other . but muse L’s comeback bursted the bubble muse K lived in for the entire summer and right now, the real question is whether muse K will go back to living in muse L’s shadow or will they go against their years of friendship ? and let’s not forget muse M in the picture . is the upper east side getting their own love trio ?

✼ ʾ ──── 𝘩𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑦
born as a ( manipulation tactic ) miracle baby in the midst of a messy divorce, cherrie was destined to have a bit of a crazy life . it was evident early on that her mother only saw her as her most prized possession in terms of another thing to brag about . meanwhile her father was in awe of his little princess yet with him moving to california pretty early in her life, he wasn’t as present as both he and herself would’ve wanted . because of this, her mother immediately began molding her daughter into becoming her clone, her own prodigy . she began acting at the age of six on disney channel and starred mainly in films with an occasional guest starring role on a show . being apart of the network was how she got exposed to the music industry with it soon becoming a main focus later on in her life .
at some point she was burned out from acting around her starting middle school . thankfully she sustained an injury that allowed her to sit out of it during middle school which was where a lot of things changed . her closest friend was a booming model already at such a young age - which wasn’t a bad thing, at least not in the beginning . she adored asking the other about their schedules and recent shoots but it was her mother who began comparing the two of them that ignited an insecurity in cherrie that she will never get over once getting older . it got worse when small jokes like calling the other her favorite child seemed a bit more serious than normal . the day she sorta snapped was when her told her friend that she wished she was her daughter instead . cherrie spent hours that night crying and cutting up photos of them together before deciding that she had to do something about this .
so cherrie started moving in silence . she became more attentive than normal, mentally noting ( sometimes physically noting ) the moves her best friend started making as they got older . meanwhile she began crafting a path of her own in music but covered it up with modeling . she was too short for the runway but she had the face fit for a commercial and for billboards scattered across ny . it began with cosmetics then jewelry, eventually leading up to her advertising for designer brands all while keeping up her acting career despite absolutely hating the industry . sitting front row at fashion shows and wearing exclusively tailored gowns on red carpets, increased followings - it was what she deserved after waiting so long . yet everything truly fell into place during a faithful summer where she truly shined . those two months were used to launch her music career, releasing her first single where it quickly blew up faster than anyone suspected it to . this was it ! everything was falling right into place . no more comparisons, no more taunting from her mother, no more -
oh . . . right . her friend had to come back . cherrie almost forgot about that . too caught up in her little reality, she had to bring herself back down to earth to keep up her usual persona of the best friend . but she didn’t feel threatened, oh no ! cherrie managed to build up her own empire and there was nothing anyone could do to make her falter . that would be true if she wasn’t doing the complete opposite behind closed doors ; drinking herself into an angry frenzy just to crash in her walk-in closet next to her christian louboutin heels . this period of time sparked the “ unhinged ” era for her as she excessively partied to her hearts content, wrecked an ex’s car, and was even spotted doing something shifty with her best friend’s ex . truly it was a time of her life no one could forget .
soon she managed to sober herself up and went about her life liked none of that ever happened . her music consistently grew more and more popular which eventually led her to winning a grammy for best new artist that many people were very skeptical about since she was still considered a fresh new singer . this sparked many accusations and conspiracy theorists coming out about how fast cherrie’s career been growing since her first release, with some fans of other artists calling out her step father for being behind everything as he had insane ties to the music industry . but no one will ever know the truth . . . but time will tell .
✼ ʾ ──── 𝘩𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑐𝑎𝑛𝑜𝑛𝑠 .
it’s heavily implied within the media that the cause of her parents’ divorce was because her mother was having an affair with andres even before they split up . she believes it but won’t address that publicly .
on the topic of andres, i definitely picture him to be a very well-respected producer &&. writer for big name artists . think dark child, pharrell, timberland but like . . . if they were super villain coded . basically he’s widely known for down playing smaller artists &&. cockblocking them on radios on whatnot . definitely not a good guy .
her mother truly started to turn on her because she had brought cherrie the lead spot on a children’s movie when she was younger and they argued over it for a while . magically days later, she gets injured and can’t participate in the filming anymore which really pissed her off because she thinks she did it on purpose .
cherrie doesn’t really act anymore . it’s more of a side quest than a priority like it was at some point . genuinely do not bring up her acting career, she itches even thinking about it . she does however, like voice acting for some strange reason .
goes to therapy ! she’s been seeing her therapist for a year now and thinks she’s making progress . no one knows this btw .
believe it or not, she’s always in a plotting mood . if you see her swirling her straw around in her drink just staring at everybody, just know her brain’s on the move .
really fucking untrustworthy like i mean it . your dark secrets just might be exposed through her but it can never be traced back unless she’s like . . . the only person who knew but she’s typically very careful about that kind of stuff . it’s never out of malicious intent, either . she just enjoys seeing herself climb up the social ranks a bit quicker due to someone’s stupidity .
very good at hiding her true intentions !! she’ll be on your side through thick and thin and will never really let you in on her full picture unless she trusts you ( rare !! ) but do not fall for her tricks . she’s playing a pick me !! she’s an actress !! she can act !!
you’ve reached the end of her bio ! all connections can be found here . if you wish to plot, you can im me or find me on discord @ too hot to cool off#3818 . i am really invested in her &&. hope you guys like her just as much as i do !!

- Rock Ankara Long Gowns with Confidence: The first step to looking great in any outfit is confidence. No matter what style you choose, make sure you walk with your head held high and shoulders back. This will instantly make you look 10 times better and feeling good in what you’re wearing always helps too!
- Keep it Simple: Ankara long gowns are already a statement piece so there’s no need to go over the top with your accessories. Let the dress do the talking by keeping your jewellery and makeup relatively simple. A pair of nude heels or sandals will also complement the dress perfectly.
- Consider Your Body Type: Not all styles of Ankara long gowns will suit every body type so it’s important to take this into consideration when choosing a dress. If you’re not sure which style will flatter you most, ask for help from a friend or sales assistant.
- Be Comfortable: The last thing you want is to be tugging at your dress or feeling uncomfortable all night long. Choose a style that you know you’ll be able to wear without any issues and make sure it’s the right size too – nothing ruins a good outfit like an ill-fitting garment!

After a long hiatus from writing, I find myself typing on my phone because I feel compelled to address the discussion surrounding the cost of living and style. Many of those who write on this topic seem to do so from a privileged perspective, choosing between expensive luxury items like Bottega bags and Chanel purses. However, for some, our choices are much more constrained. We are often forced to decide between paying rent and sometimes cutting down on grocery spending.
While it's fine to aspire to be that girl who can effortlessly pull off the latest fashion trends, it's worth asking whether we really want to be her. After all, that girl's style is often just an internet-curation of the same aesthetic that's been copied countless times. Meanwhile, many real fashion girls who have a unique vibe and style often have limited financial resources to work with. This is why we see girls from more affluent areas trying to fit in with the "poverty aesthetic" even if it means sharing a house with a hundred people.
When it comes to fashion and the cost of living, I believe we should take a different approach. We should focus on investing in pieces that have a high return on investment, like a versatile skirt that can be worn as a dress, skirt, or top(vintage preferably). Instead of wasting money on fast fashion that will quickly wear out, we should save up for a designer piece that we can rent out through services like Volte.Yes make your closet work for you! With some creativity, we can still make our clothes work for us and create unique outfits that reflect our personal style.
That's my take on the cost of living and fashion. Ultimately, it's up to each individual to decide how they want to approach these topics.

YVONNE CHAPMAN ON HER EARTH-SHATTERING PERFORMANCE AS NETFLIX’S AVATAR KYOSHI
Reviving the fanbase that never truly died, Avatar: The Last Airbender (2024) was a popularity powerhouse — snatching the number one spot in Netflix’s English TV Top 10 list less than a week after its debut. The series adapted Nickelodeon’s animated Avatar: The Last Airbender (2005), making it the latest live-action adaptation since director M. Night Shyamalan’s film in 2010. After nearly two decades of fans craving official content, the show performed immensely as the newest addition to the multi-million dollar franchise. Adding more fire to the show’s flaming traction, Netflix confirmed Avatar: The Last Airbender’s renewal for an additional two seasons.
With an estimated $15 million budget per episode, Netflix didn’t skimp on the details. Showered with glamored visual effects and world-building, Avatar: The Last Airbender brought to life many familiar facets of the original series. Capturing the hearts of old fans and new viewers alike was Yvonne Chapman — the starring actress behind the beloved character Avatar Kyoshi. Bursting with a bright demeanor unlike her broodier, badass role, Chapman chatted with EnVi over Zoom to share some earth-shattering revelations on the secrets behind the face paint.
Avatar: The Beginning
No stranger to portraying a badass martial artist, Chapman was once Zhilan Zhang — a cold-blooded warrior in The CW’s Kung Fu (2021). Killing the protagonist’s mentor in episode one and quickly becoming everyone’s living nightmare, Zhilan was a top-class villain. Having the traits of a snake in more ways than one, Zhilan was an alluring yet dangerous presence that left viewers reeling. Although more akin to a murderer than a mentor, Zhilan was another weapon in Chapman’s arsenal of portraying badass Asian women.
Michael Goi was a familiar face on set for Chapman, having been a director of Kung Fu. As the executive producer of Avatar: The Last Airbender and director of the Kyoshi episode, he was heavily involved in the vision of our Earth Kingdom Avatar. Interested in Chapman’s acting prowess, he inquired about her interest in portraying Kyoshi in the upcoming project. Naturally, she accepted. Ecstatic as a fan of the original series, Chapman recalled this decision as being a “no-brainer,” whole-heartedly agreeing to partake in the nostalgic re-imagining.
Chapman was prepared long before filming began. “I read the Kyoshi books, which are awesome. If anyone has not read them, I highly, highly recommend it,” she urged viewers. The Kyoshi Novels were never adapted into a series but are often regarded as a popular branch in the Avatar: The Last Airbender multimedia tree. Having a reference to Kyoshi’s past that wasn’t nearly as expanded on in the animated series, Chapman leaned on the books as a foundation in fleshing out Kyoshi’s character.
Stealing the stage in episode two with Avatar Kyoshi’s on-screen appearance, Chapman didn’t just bring her to life. She embodied Kyoshi, marking Chapman as one of the most well-received casting choices. Relieved at the positive reception, she recalled feeling a lot of pressure before the series’ release. With a sizable Hollywood budget and fans clamoring for a polished re-telling, the anticipation was equally exciting as it was frightening. “I knew people held it near and dear to their hearts,” she explained, “so I think all of us really wanted to make the original fans proud and have them see something that is familiar yet fresh so that they can enjoy both worlds.”
Avatar: Behind The Scenes
Donning her iconic face paint and gearing up with a heart of steel, Avatar Kyoshi was a product of the sheer amount of research done behind the scenes to bring her to life. With various teams covering hair, makeup, design, and even culture consultants onboard to create the on-screen visuals, Chapman was in awe of the details that Kyoshi’s design entailed. “We had layers of skirts, shirts, and drapery for her and the armor,” she described, “even the stuff that the costume department knew that you guys weren’t going to see.”
Gesturing towards her feet, she recalled wearing designed boots that were “hidden behind the three layers of dresses and skirts,” knowing that they were simply a finishing touch rather than a necessary implementation. These additional design decisions weren’t because of artistic perfectionism. It was purposeful as a nod towards the Asian and Indigenous culture that Avatar: The Last Airbender embraced.
Dedicated to respecting these communities and their culture, the teams’ efforts didn’t go unnoticed by Chapman. She voiced the extent of their research, revealing that there were discussions with consultants within Asian and Indigenous communities to make sure that all of the details were culturally respectful and correct. Even the shoes. “They didn’t leave any stone unturned because they wanted to honor where those details were coming from and show that representation in the best, most effective way.”
The most recognizable feature of Avatar Kyoshi is her face paint — a white base that has her eyes pooled in red and brows accentuated to her temples. Inspired by traditional Chinese opera makeup, the face paint played a vital part in bringing Avatar Kyoshi and her warriors to life. Undergoing an initial process that took up to two and a half hours, Chapman recalled the makeup team trying various methods to “get the exact angles for the face to make sure that the eyebrows matched perfectly on each side to get that symmetry and the perfect white for her face.”
Doing test runs of everything, the makeup team ventured into a streamlined process that had Chapman in her chair for half the time with the best results. Translating well on camera, the face paint was an exquisite detail that really made Avatar Kyoshi and the Kyoshi Warriors stand out on-screen. Getting into costume and makeup was often a highlight of the Avatar Kyoshi transformation for Chapman. “It was just so much fun seeing it come to life because it was so highly anticipated and because I’m also a fan,” she enthused.
Avatar: Kyoshi
In all live-action adaptations, there are naturally some differences and details that are lost, altered, or added during the adaptation process. As a fan of the original series, Chapman recalled the lasting impact she felt from the animated version of Avatar Kyoshi despite her few appearances. Kyoshi, to her, was a “fearless warrior woman who was well known for her ferocity and protecting her people.”
Coupled with the label of being one of the strongest Avatars of all time and a name that lasted generations beyond her death, Avatar Kyoshi left giant footsteps to follow thanks to her towering figure and elemental mastery. “There’s a certain refinement that I think Avatar Kyoshi would have having lived 230 years on Earth. She lived way beyond our years. Oh, girl lived. She lived.”
Alongside her visuals, Avatar Kyoshi’s strength was one of her biggest trademarks. Wanting to relay this ferocity and groundedness, Chapman strived to embody this innate power and wisdom through the Kyoshi Island arc. “That’s what was really showcased at Kyoshi Island and with the Kyoshi Warriors, as well as these really powerful women who protect their people,” she explained. Although her interaction with Aang was received by some viewers to be harsher than in the animated series, this approach wasn’t unfounded. “In her interaction with Aang, she took what I believe would have been her approach to get him to act in order to save the island, the friends, and the people there. It was a balance between trying to find the right representation of her talking with Aang in the spirit world,” she explained, “and trying to show the sense of urgency that needed to be portrayed.”
Although Kyoshi’s mentor-mentee relationship with Aang was a more serious one, Chapman had nothing but high praise for Aang’s actor, Gordon Cormier. “He’s wonderful, and I had such a great time working with him. He is Aang. He’s Aang,” she declared. “It’s unbelievable how much he embodies Aang as if he walked off the cartoon, and he’s just really great to work with. He deserves all the success that this is getting.”
Avatar: The Takeaway
More than happy to take on another badass warrior role, Chapman expressed her deepfelt gratitude for viewers who were inspired or awed by Kyoshi’s strength. Throwing a rock that rippled through Hollywood, her role assured that a woman can stand on equal ground if not higher than her male counterparts. This was a lesson that was learned in the series itself — courtesy of the Kyoshi Warriors and Sokka. And to that, Chapman wants to encourage “the audience and especially the young girls and women to see that they have the ability and the permission to take up as much space as they want. You know, to have a powerful voice, to have a presence and to not apologize ever for being who you are. That’s what I hope that they can take away from it.”
Recognizing the significance behind this diverse and culturally respectful series, Chapman expressed the positive changes that she felt the industry is undergoing. “We’re in the golden era of television right now for representation. For the longest time, we’ve always played the sideline characters, but now we actually get our own storylines,” she assured. “We get to be the protagonist, the heroes, the anti-heroes, the villains of the story. We get to be seen front and center rather than being in the background with a checkbox of diversity. No, this is what actual diversity looks like, in my opinion.” Amassing millions of views spanning internationally, the series showcased that largely POC shows and stories can exist and also succeed. With a story deeply rooted within Asian and Indigenous culture, Avatar: The Last Airbenderdid exactly that. It succeeded.
Beyond Avatar: Yvonne Chapman
After Avatar Kyoshi, Yvonne Chapman has taken another badass role in The CW’s Superman & Lois. Casted as Amanda McCoy, Chapman is a fresh face suited this time with more brains than brawn. Although a minor character, with her streak of grabbing the audience’s attention from the side, more action awaits.
Avatar: The Last Airbender is available to watch on Netflix. To see more of Yvonne Chapman, check out her official Instagram and Twitter.

Eliza Clayton is a young woman in her early twenties with fair skin like her brother Elliot, though hers is a healthier complexion, sky-blue eyes, and long black hair dyed a teal-ish-green colour at the ends, creating a black-to-green ombre effect.
In her debut, she wears black pants with the cuffs rolled up above her ankle-high black heeled boots, a black pleated skirt with a white stripe and black belt, a white dress shirt plus a green sweater vest tucked in at her waist and a black jacket with rolled-up sleeves on top. She wears a watch on her right wrist and a black leather purse strapped across her chest, resting on her left hip. She also has a wide-brimmed black hat with a green ribbon that matches her sweater vest and hair, plus a Lesbian flag pin on the left side of her jacket to complete the look.
Sometimes, Eliza wears glasses when she needs them to read or see fine details. Additionally, whenever it's sunny or when she feels like it, Eliza wears a beige see-through shawl wrapped around her shoulders instead of her usual jacket.
Synopsis
The older sister of Elliot Clayton, Eliza is the firstborn of the Clayton siblings. She is very protective of her younger siblings and is always the first person who would stand up for her family. After graduating from university, she decided to spend some time travelling the world while designing clothes on the side. She has visited many places, including Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Moscow, and Tokyo. Once she finishes seeing the world, she plans to focus on her fashion work while returning to school part-time to advance her studies.
The Bureau got the chance to meet Eliza when she went to check on her brother. Eliza was in South Korea serving as a chaperone for Esther's class trip, and the two made sure to have some sister-bonding time away from the chaos of Esther's classmates. They tried to drag Elliot into a sibling adventure, but The Bureau needed to leave for Tokyo to get back on the trail of SOMBRA.
Eliza hopes her brother is safe with the Bureau since she knows how much he didn't want to join the agency. But sadly, Elliot didn't have a choice in the matter as it was either helping the team or going to jail for hacking the Bureau's servers. At least Eliza knows he probably had fun giving the servers an Elliot Clayton upgrade.
And she did make her brother promise to keep in touch with her and Esther while he was travelling, so she looks forward to hearing about his latest adventures.
Eliza and Esther reappeared during the additional investigation of The Brave and The Dead after their parents and Elliot had been suspected of killing the family butler, Wilfred Pennyworth. They learned that their parents had been forced to work for SOMBRA for the past twenty years, but after being exonerated, they are now helping the Bureau take down the criminal organization.
Eliza moved back home to be with her family and help keep an eye out for SOMBRA. She keeps Elliot up to date on what is happening in England while the Claytons are slowly working towards learning how to be a family again. It's hard with Elliot being so far away, but Eliza hopes that one day, once SOMBRA is defeated, her brother can come home, and the family can be whole again.
Eliza made a brief cameo in The Brave and The Dead after the Bureau had solved the murder of Wilfred Pennyworth, the Clayton Family butler.
While not seen in the story, Elliot gave his sister Vanna Alabama's number after Sanjay had given his to the singer. He knows how big of a crush his sister has on Vanna and wants her to have a chance to act on it. The two hit it off almost immediately, and Eliza and Vanna text often, easily building a friendship and planning to one day meet in person and see if their relationship can go further.
She made another cameo alongside her family when they reunited with Elliot in New York to celebrate the Bureau's victory over SOMBRA.

The Ultimate Guide to Ladies Golf Wear: Comfort, Style, and Performance on the Green
Introduction
Golf is a sport of precision, focus, and finesse, but what you wear can also have a significant impact on your game. For women, finding the perfect balance between comfort, functionality, and style in golf apparel is key. Ladies’ golf wear has evolved significantly over the years, blending technical advancements with fashion-forward designs to cater to both professional golfers and casual players alike. This guide will help you navigate the essentials of ladies’ golf wear, from selecting the right fabric to understanding dress codes and exploring the latest trends.
The Importance of Comfortable and Functional Golf Wear
When it comes to ladies' golf wear, comfort and function should be the top priority. A round of golf can last several hours, and it's essential to wear clothing that allows you to move freely without restriction. Here are key factors to consider when choosing your golf outfit:
Fabric Choice
Look for moisture-wicking fabrics like polyester, spandex blends, or microfiber. These materials draw sweat away from your skin, keeping you dry and comfortable during your game. Breathability is also important, particularly on hot days. Fabrics with ventilation features, such as mesh panels or lightweight weaves, promote airflow and help regulate body temperature.
Fit and Flexibility
Your golf wear should allow for a full range of motion, especially around the shoulders, arms, and waist. Look for shirts, tops, and dresses that are cut to provide ample stretch, so you can swing with ease. Golf skirts, shorts, and trousers should fit snugly but not too tightly, allowing you to bend, stretch, and walk without discomfort.
Weather Adaptability
Golf is played in various weather conditions, so it's important to be prepared with the right attire. In cooler climates, layering is key. Choose base layers like long-sleeve tops or thermal shirts that retain heat without being too bulky. Add a lightweight windbreaker or waterproof jacket for protection from the elements. In warm weather, sleeveless tops and lightweight skirts or shorts will help keep you cool.
Key Elements of Ladies Golf Wear
Golf Shirts and Tops
Golf shirts, often referred to as polo shirts, are a staple in any golfer’s wardrobe. Traditional designs feature a collar and button placket, though more contemporary styles may incorporate zippers or even a mock turtleneck design. Look for shirts made from stretchable, breathable materials, like polyester blends, and those with UV protection are an added bonus for long days in the sun.
Golf Skirts and Shorts
Golf skirts (also known as skorts) and shorts are popular choices for warmer days. Skorts provide the feminine look of a skirt while offering the practicality of built-in shorts. Most golf skirts have pockets, which are essential for storing tees, markers, or gloves. Choose skirts that are flexible and offer a modest length that meets course dress codes.
Golf Trousers and Capris
For those who prefer more coverage, golf trousers and capris are an excellent option. They offer a polished, professional look while still providing comfort. Opt for trousers with stretch fabric that accommodates your movements, especially in the knee and hip areas. Capris, which fall just below the knee, are ideal for warmer climates while still offering some coverage.
Outerwear
Golf outerwear is essential for unpredictable weather conditions. Lightweight jackets, vests, and pullovers offer warmth and protection without restricting your movement. Waterproof jackets are particularly useful on rainy days, while windproof jackets can provide extra comfort on windy courses. Always opt for outerwear that is easy to layer and remove, so you can adjust as the weather changes.
Golf Shoes
Your golf shoes are as important as your clothing. Comfort is paramount since you’ll be walking for hours. Modern golf shoes are designed with advanced materials that offer grip, stability, and cushioning. For ladies, golf shoes come in spiked and spikeless varieties. Spiked shoes offer better traction on wet or hilly courses, while spikeless options are more versatile and can be worn off the course as well.
Understanding Golf Course Dress Codes
Most golf courses, especially private clubs, enforce a dress code. While it varies by location, here are general guidelines to follow when selecting your outfit:
Shirts: Collared shirts are often mandatory. Avoid wearing tank tops or T-shirts unless explicitly allowed.
Bottoms: Shorts, skirts, and trousers are acceptable, but they should be of appropriate length (usually just above the knee). Avoid denim and workout leggings.
Shoes: Closed-toe golf shoes or sneakers are required. Flip-flops or sandals are typically prohibited.
Always check the course’s dress code policy before arriving to ensure you are appropriately dressed.
Ladies Golf Wear Trends
Golf fashion for women has come a long way. Today’s golf apparel seamlessly blends performance and style. Some of the latest trends include:
Bold Prints and Patterns
From floral prints to geometric designs, bold patterns are making their mark in ladies’ golf wear. These eye-catching designs not only allow you to express your personality but also stand out on the course.
Bright Colors
Bright hues like neon pinks, greens, and blues are trending in both tops and bottoms. These lively colors add a fresh, fun element to traditional golf attire.
Athleisure-Inspired Golf Wear
As athleisure becomes more popular in everyday fashion, it's also influencing golf wear. Stretchy fabrics, sleek designs, and a more relaxed fit characterize this trend, making it easier for women to transition from the golf course to casual outings without changing outfits.
Sustainable and Eco-Friendly Fabrics
Sustainability is becoming a key focus in the fashion industry, and golf wear is no exception. Brands are starting to offer eco-friendly options made from recycled materials and sustainable practices, allowing you to play your game while reducing your environmental footprint.

This depends on the course. Some relaxed or public courses may allow leggings, but most private clubs prefer more traditional bottoms like golf trousers or skirts. It's best to check with the course before arriving.

While not mandatory for beginners, investing in a good pair of golf shoes will improve your traction and stability during the game. If you’re just starting, comfortable athletic shoes are acceptable on most courses.

Choose lightweight, moisture-wicking fabrics for your top and bottoms. Opt for sleeveless shirts and shorts or skirts to increase ventilation. A sun hat and UV-protective clothing are also good choices for hot weather.

As the game of golf continues to grow, so too does the variety of stylish and practical options for ladies golf wear, ensuring that you can make a statement both on and off the green.
