I woke up last week. Grey tells me I've been asleep for 40,000 years. You'd think things would be more confusing. Grey says I'm lucky i woke up when i did. It's hard to comprehend that span of time, honestly. I guess it was hard for everyone else too cause Grey says people go to sleep for thousands of years. Some of them even wipe their memory. When she told me that she made a wry smile, like how'd you greet a friend after they'd overslept into the late evening. I felt like that was really rude for a long time. But I guess there's no reason to be sympathetic over something horrible that neither of you know about or remember. Memory wipes are normal to her and I suppose most everyone else. "Maybe they were normal for me to?" She gives me that smile again. "Honestly, who cares?" Honestly, i guess i don't really. "Wanna climb Plasa Tower?" It takes us two days to get to the top, but its worth it. 

Up here, the sky fills my whole field of view, it feels like something I know. Know, the way I know Grey, her fingers tracing the lines of my palm.

I thank you school for educating me. You have inspired me to do such great things. How you have educated me is the real question though. You have taught me to learn from mistakes and make the best of the worse. The funny thing is that they are not my mistakes but yours. Yes i have made plenty mistakes in the past but man oh it has been a blast. You have taught me to rise above what others think. I was told that i would never achieve more than an F in science just because that was a grade i was given by your computer generated GPA because the teacher for the whole year was absent leaving our own minds "absent". Thank you for making me realise that school isn't just about the grades. I spent half of my time enjoying the friendships i made rather than enduring the hardships i had endure due to the academic procedures you forced upon me. I thank you.
