the gratest gift
summary: something happens during the last day of love on tour
Warnings: cryptic pregnancy
The energy of the final night of Harry's tour filled the air in Emilia Romagna Campovolo, Italy. Fans from all over the world had gathered for this special moment, knowing it would be the last time they would see Harry Styles perform live for a while. Y/N stood with a small group of Harry’s closest family and friends, watching him on stage, her heart swelling with pride as he danced and sang with his usual magnetism. The crowd’s love for him was palpable, their collective voices rising up to meet him, but there was something she couldn’t shake.
The persistent, dull pain in her stomach had started earlier in the day, just after she’d woken up. She’d chalked it up to stress, the excitement of the tour winding down, or maybe even a slight stomach bug. It wasn’t the first time she’d felt a bit under the weather on tour—jet lag and late nights had taken their toll. But as the night wore on, the cramps had only intensified, creeping from an annoying ache to a sharp throb that made her wince. Still, she forced a smile, trying to enjoy the moment.
Standing beside her were Gemma, Harry’s sister, and their mom, Anne, who were both chatting animatedly with Jeff and his wife, Glenne. James Corden was also there, cracking jokes, and the group was trying to maintain a sense of normalcy amidst the overwhelming excitement of the final show.
“Y/N, you alright?” Gemma asked, her eyes narrowing with concern as she noticed Y/N clutching her stomach slightly.
"Yeah, just a little... uncomfortable," Y/N replied, offering a faint smile, but her voice trembled slightly. It was more than discomfort now, though, and the pain was growing more difficult to ignore.
Anne turned, her motherly instinct kicking in. “You don’t look alright, love. Maybe we should get you checked out?”
Y/N hesitated. She didn’t want to be a bother, especially on such a special night. "No, no, I'm fine. Really. I don’t want to ruin anything."
James, ever the comedian, leaned in with a wink. “If you’re fine, then I’m the Queen of England. No offense, but I think Gemma and Anne are right. You’re looking a bit pale there.”
Y/N tried to laugh it off, but the pain in her stomach was no longer something she could brush aside. It was becoming unbearable. As Harry continued to perform on stage, Y/N’s breaths began to grow shallow, her face flushed with discomfort.
"Y/N," Anne said firmly, the concern in her voice now more pronounced, "Let’s just get you checked out, okay? We’re not messing around. This is Harry’s last show; he’ll understand, but you need to be taken care of."
Gemma nodded in agreement. "We’ll go together. It’s not a big deal; we’ll just make sure everything’s okay."
Y/N hesitated for a moment, but the pain flared again, and she finally nodded. "Alright, okay. But I don’t want to ruin anything for him."
Anne smiled gently and took Y/N's arm. "Trust me, love. He’ll want you to be okay more than anything else."
The drive to the hospital was a blur of worry and discomfort. Y/N was trying to breathe through the pain, her hand clutched tightly in Anne's as Gemma kept glancing back at her, checking to see if she was alright. The minutes felt like hours, and by the time they reached the hospital, Y/N was struggling to even stand. She felt like her world was spinning, but she kept thinking about Harry, wishing she could be there with him as the show came to a close.
Anne, ever the rock, led her inside, and soon they were seated in a sterile examination room. A doctor quickly came in, speaking in Italian, but Gemma was quick to translate and explain the situation. The doctor checked Y/N over and then took a step back, her face tight with concern.
“Signora, I’m afraid you’re in labor," the doctor said gently. "You are pregnant."
Y/N blinked in confusion, her mind spinning. "What? I... I’m pregnant? I don’t understand. I’ve never felt pregnant."
The doctor nodded solemnly. “It’s called a cryptic pregnancy. Some women don't realize they're pregnant until very late into the term, sometimes until they go into labor.”
Gemma’s jaw dropped in shock, and Anne's face paled. Y/N’s heart raced as she tried to process the words. Pregnant? But that didn’t make sense. She hadn’t noticed any symptoms—no cravings, no morning sickness, no physical changes that would have pointed to something like this. She was just... Y/N. Just herself.
“Are you sure?” Y/N asked, her voice trembling. “How could I not know?”
The doctor gave a sympathetic smile. “It’s very rare, but it happens. Your body may not have shown typical signs. Some women don’t realize until much later in the pregnancy, sometimes not until the moment they give birth.”
Gemma held Y/N’s hand tightly. “What does this mean? Is everything okay?”
The doctor nodded. “You are full-term, and it’s likely that the pain you’re feeling is because your body is preparing for delivery. We’ll need to monitor you, but everything seems to be in order.”
Anne was quietly taking deep breaths beside Y/N, clearly trying to keep her composure for her daughter. “Well... well, then, let’s get this sorted, eh? Y/N, sweetheart, we’re here with you.”
Y/N nodded, but her mind was still reeling. Pregnant... Full-term... How was that even possible? She could barely process the words, let alone the reality of them. But then she thought about Harry—his smile, his kindness, the way he had held her so close when they were together.
And then, as if on cue, her phone buzzed in her pocket. It was a message from Harry.
"Where are you? I miss you. Are you okay?"
Y/N’s heart ached. She could almost hear his voice through the screen, and she knew he would be devastated if he knew what was happening. She couldn’t tell him, not yet. She needed to be strong for both of them.
Before she could respond, the pain came again—stronger this time, and the doctor moved quickly, motioning for them to prepare for delivery. “It’s time.”
The next few hours were a whirlwind of activity, but Y/N never felt alone. Anne and Gemma stayed by her side, offering comfort and support as the medical team helped her through the labor. The pain was unlike anything she had ever felt, but she held on to the idea that once this was over, she’d have something incredible to show for it. Something she never expected but would love with all her heart.
And then, at the very end, when everything was still and calm, the soft cry of a newborn filled the room.
A baby.
Y/N couldn’t believe it—her baby. Her daughter.
As they placed the tiny, perfect baby girl in her arms, she felt a rush of love like nothing she had ever known. Her heart swelled in a way she never thought possible. This little person, who had been growing inside her all this time, was now here.
And then, as if by magic, her phone buzzed again. It was Harry, texting once more:
"I’m done with the show. I’ll see you soon. I love you."
Anne or Gemma must have told him she was in the hospital. Tears welled in her eyes as she smiled at her baby. This was their future. His future. Their future together.
The door opened, and Gemma peeked her head in. "Y/N, are you...?"
Y/N looked up, her voice shaky but filled with joy. “I’m okay. I’m... I’m a mom.”
Anne stepped in as well, her face softening with tears as she looked at her new granddaughter. "Oh, darling. Harry’s going to be over the moon."
Y/N nodded, her hand gently cradling the baby, the tiny life she had no idea she was carrying. In that moment, it didn’t matter how it had happened. What mattered was the love she felt, and the fact that Harry—her partner, her best friend—was about to become a father.
As she held her baby close, she sent a quick message back to Harry:
"I’m waiting for you. And I love you more than words can say."
And in that moment, as the world outside continued to turn, Y/N knew that no matter what came next, she was ready for this new chapter of her life. With Harry by her side, everything would be The hours after Y/N had given birth were a blur of emotion, exhaustion, and overwhelming love. Her little girl—her beautiful, perfect daughter—was nestled in her arms, fast asleep, her tiny chest rising and falling with each delicate breath. Y/N couldn’t stop staring at the baby, her heart full of a love she had never known was possible.
Anne and Gemma had left to give Y/N some space, giving her time to soak in the new reality. Their faces were tear-streaked and full of joy when they left the room, but they both knew how important this moment was—just Y/N and her daughter, before the world came rushing back.
Y/N sat in the hospital bed, cradling the baby close to her chest, when her phone buzzed again.
"I'm on my way, love. I’m outside the hospital now. I’ll be there in five."
The message was from Harry. His words were so simple, yet they carried so much weight. He had no idea. He was about to walk into the most life-changing moment of his life.
Y/N felt her chest tighten. She had to get ready. How do I tell him? she thought. She wasn’t even sure what she was going to say. She still couldn’t wrap her head around the fact that she had given birth—no warning, no signs, just a beautiful little baby that was hers.
Her thoughts were interrupted by the soft tap on the door.
"Y/N?" It was Gemma’s voice. "Harry’s here."
Y/N swallowed hard, her heart racing. Okay. Here we go.
Anne and Gemma entered, both with huge smiles on their faces. Harry wasn’t with them yet, and Gemma stepped forward, her eyes soft with understanding. "He’s just outside," she said quietly. "Are you ready?"
Y/N nodded, the weight of the moment still heavy on her shoulders. "I think so. But I don’t even know how to tell him."
Anne came over, squeezing her shoulder. "You don’t need to tell him anything. He’ll figure it out when he sees her. You don’t have to say anything right away. Just... be honest with him, Y/N. He’ll be thrilled. He’s going to love her so much."
Y/N smiled at her mom, the warmth of her support helping to steady her nerves. She looked down at the little girl in her arms, who stirred slightly, letting out a soft yawn.
Just then, Harry appeared in the doorway, looking slightly out of breath and still in his performance clothes. His face lit up when he saw his family and friends, but as his eyes landed on Y/N, sitting in the bed with the little bundle in her arms, his smile faltered. He took a few hesitant steps toward her, confusion crossing his face.
"Y/N?" His voice was soft, a mixture of worry and tenderness. "What’s going on? Are you okay?"
Y/N felt her breath catch in her throat as she held up the baby, her hands shaking. "Harry," she whispered, her voice cracking, "I’m... I’m okay. And this... this is our daughter."
Harry froze, his mouth opening and closing as if trying to find the right words. His eyes flicked between Y/N’s face and the tiny baby in her arms. His expression was one of disbelief, confusion, and then, slowly, a dawning realization.
"You... What?" Harry whispered, his voice barely audible. "But... but I didn’t—"
"I didn’t know either," Y/N cut him off, her voice gentle but steady. "It’s a cryptic pregnancy. I didn’t know I was pregnant until today. The pain I had, the cramps—it... it was labor."
For a long moment, Harry didn’t move. His entire body seemed frozen, his mind struggling to process the flood of information. But then, something shifted. His eyes softened, his face breaking into a mix of wonder and love.
"She’s... ours?" he asked, his voice thick with emotion, stepping closer.
Y/N nodded, tears welling in her eyes as she reached out to him, the baby still cradled gently in her arms. "Yes. She’s ours, Harry."
Without another word, Harry took a step forward, kneeling beside the bed. His hands were trembling as he looked down at the tiny girl in Y/N’s arms, his eyes wide and full of awe. The reality of the moment hit him all at once, and he reached out slowly, gently, as though afraid he might break the fragile perfection of the moment.
"Hi," Harry whispered to the baby, his voice a soft caress. "I’m your daddy. I’m so sorry I didn’t know... but I promise I’m going to love you more than anything in this world."
The baby stirred in Y/N’s arms, and Harry’s eyes welled with tears as he carefully stroked her tiny hand. "She’s beautiful," he murmured, his voice breaking as he looked up at Y/N. "How... how did this happen? How did we not know?"
Y/N smiled through her tears, feeling her heart swell with love for him, for their daughter, for the family they were about to become. "I don’t know," she said softly. "But here she is. She’s perfect, Harry."
Harry looked up at her, his face filled with an overwhelming mix of emotions—shock, joy, disbelief, and pure, unfiltered love. "You’re perfect, Y/N," he whispered. "And this... she’s perfect. I love you both so much."
Tears began to slip down Y/N’s cheeks as she leaned in closer to him, her heart full. "I love you too," she whispered, feeling the weight of their new life, the life they would now build together. "You’re going to be an amazing dad, Harry."
He smiled at her, his eyes glistening with unshed tears. "I already love her more than anything. I promise you, Y/N, I’m going to do everything I can to make this family everything it can be."
As Harry gently cupped their daughter’s tiny hand in his, he pressed a soft kiss to her forehead. "I can’t believe this. She’s ours."
Y/N nodded, her smile wide and radiant as she looked at Harry. "She’s ours. And we’re going to be okay."
With that, Harry stood up slowly, never taking his eyes off the baby, and turned to Anne and Gemma, who were standing at the foot of the bed. His voice was thick with emotion as he spoke.
"Thank you," he whispered, his voice hoarse. "Thank you for being here. For helping her. For being... for being everything she needs."
Anne smiled warmly, her heart full of pride for her son. "We’re family, Harry. And family takes care of each other."
Gemma stepped forward, smiling through her own tears. "I can’t believe I’m an aunt!" she laughed softly. "She’s going to be the most spoiled little girl in the world."
Harry smiled at them, his heart so full he thought it might burst. And as he looked down at his daughter once more, he couldn’t help but think that maybe the world had a way of surprising you when you least expected it.
This was their new beginning—the beginning of a new chapter. One filled with endless love, laughter, and, most of all, their little girl.
"Hi, baby," Harry whispered, his voice filled with awe and wonder as he bent down to kiss the top of her head. "You’re everything I’ve ever wanted. And I’m so glad you’re here."
And in that moment, with his family gathered around and his daughter in his arms, Harry knew one thing for sure—life had just given him the greatest gift.

requesting a q&a interview for lando norris x reader !
perhaps being asked about her on graham norton or both of them being on jimmy fallon/james corden
any plot!! i love your writing <33
back to the basics.
Lando Norris x fem!reader
in which formula one star, Lando Norris, gets asked about his girlfriend, Y/n L/n, on the Late Night Jimmy Fallon show!
warnings: none! a load of fluff!!!
prompt list
“us against the world just me and you!!”

“welcome back to the Late Night show everybody!” sounded Jimmy Fallon’s voice on your TV. you smiled shoving a few crisps into your mouth. “today special guest is, formula one driver, Lando Norris!” everyone clapped, along with you, who was on the other side of the world behind a screen. you watched as your fiancé walked onto stage, smiling and waving like always. Jimmy introduced Lando and they talked about what he did and how it was like being a driver. then after a few minutes they started to play a game called “explain the picture”.
the game started off with a-few silly pictures of Lando and some of his past teammates while he explained them laughing along with Jimmy during every picture. then on about the 6th picture Jimmy pulled out a card that had a picture from your instagram on it. it was a picture from when Lando first proposed almost a year ago. “what about this one?” Jimmy questioned, cocking his eyebrow. Lando giggled “that’s a picture from my fiancé’s instagram??” he said. “well obviously, but what’s happening?” Jimmy asked again. “well it’s from just under a year ago when i asked her to be my wife, she thought i was joking and thought it was just a box with a key in because i told her we might be getting a new apartment” everyone laughed. “but when she saw it was a ring, she said she was nearly sick! to be honest i was offended at first but then she said ‘it’s good sick’?? which i didn’t understand at all” Lando continued to talk about you for the next 5 minutes, practically gushing over you.
Jimmy gave a look to the camera, telling them how much Lando loves her. Lando just couldn’t stop himself, until eventually he did to carry on with the interview because they were on a time limit. but at that point everyone in that Late Night studio knew how much Lando absolutely loved his almost-wife, as he likes to call it. someone shouted “when’s the wedding!” and Lando answered saying it was in the summer, while he was on summer break. from the moment Lando proposed to you in the Silverstone paddock, you knew you were keeping him forever, and he knew he was keeping you forever.

For years now, Hollywood has been on a losing streak. In the film and television business, good news has been harder to come by than original stories, with the successive disruptions of the pandemic, the writers’ and actors’ strikes, and the wildfires that ravaged Los Angeles in January. “Survive till 2025” was the motto that kept the town going last year, but this year has offered little reprieve. Production is down, jobs are scarce, and morale is low; scripted entertainment is losing the battle for eyeballs to video games, YouTube, and social media. (Over the weekend, Trump himself weighed in, writing on Truth Social that “the Movie Industry in America is DYING a very fast death”—while proposing tariffs that could hasten its demise.) In a recent New York magazine profile of David Zaslav, perhaps the most hated exec in L.A., the writer Michael Wolff pronounced that the industry’s “gradual decline” has “arguably reached the all-at-once stage.”
If Hollywood still can’t resist telling stories about itself, it can at least strive for honesty about its flop era. That’s the guiding ethos of two insidery show-biz series this spring: the current season of the Max dramedy “Hacks” and the new Apple TV+ comedy “The Studio.” On “Hacks,” a long-stymied comic named Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) finally lives out her dream of hosting her own late-night program, only to discover that she’s been crowned the queen of a castle made of sand. And, in “The Studio,” Seth Rogen stars as Matt Remick, a freshly promoted movie executive who soon realizes that his new job is to “ruin” the medium he loves in pursuit of profit.
For its first three seasons, much of the pleasure of “Hacks” lay in its examination of life on the D-list. We saw Deborah through the eyes of Ava (Hannah Einbinder), a wunderkind comedy writer who gets cancelled after tweeting a bad joke and ends up in Las Vegas, where Deborah has a fading residency. Ava helps Deborah shake the cobwebs off her act, and Deborah introduces her to the myriad, often shady money-making opportunities afforded to those no longer chasing prestige: QVC clothing lines, supplements businesses, cruise gigs. At the end of Season 3, after the two have successfully reinvented her persona and rebuilt her career, Deborah lands the late-night show of her dreams and promises to make Ava head writer, only to renege at the eleventh hour—prompting Ava to clinch the position via blackmail instead.
Season 4, the first to be set firmly in L.A., charts the aftermath. In the press, the two are the very picture of feminist solidarity. Deborah is the first woman at eleven-thirty; Ava is the youngest head writer in the history of late-night TV. But, behind the scenes, their mutual resentments threaten to derail the entire enterprise. (When Ava tries to convince Deborah to let her take control of the writers’ room, telling her, “I’m trying to make your life easier,” Deborah responds, “Then kill yourself.”) Neither can afford the dysfunction. Their task isn’t just to create a hit show, but to redeem all of late-night. “It wasn’t a choice between you and someone else to host,” a network boss (Helen Hunt) informs them. “It was a choice between you and no one.” To be deemed a success, they’re expected to emulate the likes of James Corden’s “Carpool Karaoke,” which became the source not only of viral clips but a five-season spinoff series. These days, a show isn’t worth launching if it can’t spawn a franchise.
This bleak vision of Hollywood makes for a fascinating backdrop. Deborah and Ava’s mandate reflects real-world anxieties about audience retention. The portrait is deepened by the parallel plight of Deborah’s manager, Jimmy (Paul W. Downs), and his own protégé turned partner, Kayla (Meg Stalter). One subplot involves their struggles to manage another difficult client: a bite-prone Collie starring in a TV remake of “Lassie.” Loopy but astute, Kayla quickly demonstrates her ability to navigate this diminished version of the industry by getting the half-hour series green-lighted at a time when “no one is buying” them. (The line is also an oblique acknowledgement of a painful reality: streaming companies, many of whose subscription bases are international, prefer content that can “travel,” so comedies, which tend to be more culturally rooted, have become a hard sell around town.) The surest sign, perhaps, of the business’s increasing irrelevance is its dependence on the kind of social-media star power its gatekeepers still don’t fully understand. Deborah, who’s always willing to suspend her own judgment if it gets her the reaction that she craves, brings on to the show a TikToker named Dance Mom (Julianne Nicholson, in a delirious comic performance). Dance Mom proves a hit, but the version of the show that Deborah and Ava can take pride in slips further and further away.
Female ambition is “Hacks” ’s object of obsession, and while the series’ portrayal of Hollywood feels timely, it’s used mostly in service of developing the central theme. Early in the season, Deborah explains to Ava that she isn’t the right person to lead her writers’ room: Ava’s taste is too political, too niche, and “late-night is for housewives and mechanics.” The pair have worked hard to find Deborah’s voice, but by straining it further in a bid for mass appeal, she risks losing it all over again. Blind ambition can take you upward—or land you on a glass cliff.
In “The Studio,” the three real-life showrunners of “Hacks”—Downs, Jen Statsky, and Lucia Aniello—make a cameo as the rare Hollywood creatives lucky or savvy enough to get quality shows made and to win awards for them. The scene is set at the Golden Globes, and their appearance is bookended by cracks from Ramy Youssef, the evening’s host, about the otherwise dire state of the industry. “I’m starting to feel like I have to go to the movies,” he says. “Like, if I don’t buy a ticket, the whole thing’s gonna fall apart.”
“The Studio” is much more explicitly about Hollywood’s decline. In its pilot, Matt Remick, the new studio head played by Rogen, is given an edict by his boss, Griffin (Bryan Cranston), to make “movies,” not “films”—beginning with a blockbuster about Kool-Aid. (Griffin has aspirations for features based on Jenga and the Rubik’s Cube as well.) Matt, a devoted cinephile, thinks he’ll be able to have it both ways, envisioning a “Barbie”-esque brand-based auteurist project helmed by his hero, Martin Scorsese. Instead, he’s forced to kill the legendary director’s passion project. That night, Matt and his deputy, Sal (Ike Barinholtz), watch Scorsese’s “Goodfellas” to remind themselves why they got into the business in the first place.
There’s something undeniably cathartic about a figure as successful as Rogen, who co-created the series, speaking out about Hollywood’s creative cowardice. (It’s possible he’s feeling the pinch, too; Hollywood has drastically cut down on the kind of mid-budget theatrical comedies that made him a star two decades ago.) And, like “Hacks,” “The Studio” has a great ear for insult comedy: the boorish Sal calls A24’s output the purview of “pansexual mixologists living in Bed-Stuy.”
But the series is better at diagnosing the problem than at getting us to care about those responsible. Matt and his direct reports quickly reveal themselves to be spineless, self-important, thin-skinned, and out of touch. On a date at a gala for pediatric oncologists, Matt insists that the hyperviolent franchise he helped launch, which involves a superhero who telepathically explodes heads, is “art,” and that his job is just as important as the doctors’. (To triple down, he rubs in their face the fact that he makes more money than they do.) With people like him in charge, “The Studio” implies, it’s no wonder the multiplexes are full of such dreck. And, though we catch glimpses of the kinds of films Matt ostensibly wants to shepherd into the world, it’s the blandly schlocky Kool-Aid movie that we’re stuck with episode after episode.
Like most Rogen projects, “The Studio” is proudly potty-mouthed but ultimately toothless. One gets the feeling that the actor-producer is too ensconced in the system to truly go for broke. Where “The Franchise,” last year’s short-lived HBO satire of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, gleefully eviscerated its targets, “The Studio” is far gentler with the many real-life figures who pop up throughout the season. Perhaps the most revealing guest appearance is that of the Netflix co-C.E.O. Ted Sarandos, in the episode set at the Globes. Netflix is cleaning up, and Sarandos is praised endlessly by his artists (including Jean Smart) in every acceptance speech; Matt, meanwhile, is on the verge of a meltdown as he tries to persuade Zoë Kravitz to publicly acknowledge his existence. When the two men run into each other in the bathroom, an agonized Matt asks how he gets the talent to appreciate him. “It’s contractual. I force them to,” Sarandos says, baffled. “Otherwise, why in the world would they possibly thank us?”

do we think her cryptic clues could have been a hint to the actress having a crush on daniel himself, or another driver on the 2016 grid at the time?

Unreleased 1D music and I have questions🤔
Am I late to the game or what because I have yet to hear anyone talk about this. Every time I hear the song it drives me crazy and I absolutely have to talk about it 🫣 but a certain part specifically
“Jenny likes her coffee late at night it helps her sleep”
These are the first lyrics in Harry’s part and it already got me raising an eyebrow because what ? Sound familiar no?

Tea? Coffee same difference to me. Can't win everybattle. But this part especially raisesd some eyebrows for me it reminded me of this song ( though written by ed, he and harry were close friends ane doubt that it didnt play a role in the song writing ) and the james corden carpool karoke when louis was speaking on how he twitted about milk for his tea at some crazy hour of the night because he couldnt go to sleep. its so fucking larry coated but I guess I can leave that up to coincidence.
Again with the Jenny
Here again with Jenny I immediately of course thought of the Best song on Fine Line Canyon Moon ( my opinion but also somewhat factual)Jenny? It sounds like we are dealing with The same person here but idk

I assume most of us when we hear the name Jenny we all think of the famous “Jennifer” interview
Really after that, I wasn't thinking too much of it.
the lyrics that followed up were larry coated very much so to me
“ she doesn’t cook but she has a million recipes”
Mm I wonder who absolutely butchered a cucumber by simply slicing and said he had never cooked a day in his life before the infamous chicken recipe that shall lot be named🧐
but it wasn't until the last part before the chorus that coincidence could no longer be blamed because what??
“She’s got tattoos doesn’t know what it means”
This👆↖️🆙 this right here got me because WHO time and time again from the 1D days all the way to present day denies his tattos having any type of meaning or just being silly dumb things he has decided to get. Of course its jennifer. I just think this is so comical because if there are so many concideinxes can it still even be considered one ?
This song is so loud to me and that is only a couple of verses of it.( lowkey why its probably unreleased) Idk if the craziness of this fandom fianlky got to me or if any of this makes sense outside of my head. I am 100% NOT a larry detective and will never claim to be one lol but i did want to share because i want others thoughts and opinions on it. Also if you cant find the full song DM me.
#louis#louis tomilson#larry#harry#harry styles#larry stylinson#proofs?#one direction#1D#favorite songs#unreleased songs#unreleased songs one direction#i think i actually going insane#or should i say#inzayn😀#opinions#i love larry stylinson#music

Tubatu In Disneyland

𑁥౿ ⊹ ‧₊˚ synopsis - coming back to the states for schedules Joohyung decided to ball out and get the group Disneyland tickets for the day to finally let loose and not worry or stress about anything
𑁥౿ ⊹ ‧₊˚ a/n - I kid you not I had this in the drafts for 2 years? maybe… so here’s a little present double posting 🫶🏼
hair | makeup | outfit | nails
Joohyung planned this whole trip out. Since she knew they were going to have a schedule in the states and since the members performed at Disneyland back in November for New Years, and they really wanted to go to see the rest of the park. She decided to buy the most expensive tickets so they can experience a bit of everything without wasting time.
It was the day after they performed at the James Corden. Joohyung woke up really early because everyone that goes to Disneyland always says; ‘you have to wake up early so you can experience as much as you can’. So that’s exactly what she did. It was 5:30 am Joohyung woke up and just stared out of the window. It was too early for her brain to comprehend anything and once the gears started turning she finally got up and started her morning routine. Joohyung wanted to give some more time for the members to sleep in since they all slept late not by force but by choice. They spent all night playing games with each other in her room.
The clock hit 6 am which meant it was time to wake them all up. The thing is, since it was Joohyung’s room and there was only one king size California bed they all slept on her bed. Joohyung decided to just smack all their butts to wake up. “Wake up! I have something planned for us!” All the members groaned and started stirring around. “Noona it’s 6 in the morning.” Yeonjun had one eye open. “I know, but I have something for you guys. Wake up please!” Joohyung begged since she saw some of them go back to sleep. “Come on guys,” Kai was the only one who was waking up. “Noona seems excited.” Kai started shaking his hyungs by their shoulders. It took a bit of time but she got them all to sit up with their bed hair going everywhere and their eyes still adjusting to the light. “Ok hold up,” Joohyung ran to get her phone which had all their tickets on there. “Look what I got us!” She placed her phone close to their faces.
Now their gears started working and they finally saw the Disneyland tickets. “We’re going to Disneyland?!” Soobin took her phone out of her hand to look at the tickets himself. “Noona don’t play with us!” Kai gasped, taking the phone away from Soobin. “Oh my god~” Taehyun looked at her phone with Kai. “We can finally be those people that buy and wear the Mickey ears.” Beomgyu said while mimicking the ears with his hands on his head. “We have to start getting ready. I heard you have to be there early!” Yeonjun jumped out of the bed. “Thank you noona~” They all said, as they headed out to their rooms getting ready. “You’re welcome~ now hurry up!” Joohyung said before closing her door to get dressed.
୨୧
Those Disney people were right when they said get here early because once they got there the lines were huge. “While it gives us time to decide what’s priority and what’s not.” Taehyun said seeing all the families around them. “I can’t believe we’re here!” Soobin was very giddy, as he looked around him constantly. “I’m glad you guys are happy because these tickets weren’t cheap at all.” Joohyung said remembering the checkout price and seeing the money getting taken out of her bank account.
“Ok priority for me is going on as many rides as we can, especially the roller coaster over there.” Beomgyu pointed at the California Adventure side. “For me it’s trying all foods I always see people eating in those videos.” Yeonjun even pulled up some pictures on his phone to show them. “All that sounds good but I don’t think I have anything that I’m dying to do yet.” Soobin was thinking really hard about something he needed to do before the end of the night. “Maybe take photos with the characters?” He shrugged. “I want to go on a water ride to see who gets the wettest.” Taehyun beamed a smile. “That sounds fun!” Kai smiled at him. “After that we have to get matching sweaters or shirts and I have to find a plushie that I can take home.” Kai shared what he wanted to do. “What about you noona?” Beomgyu asked as everyone had eyes on her. “I of course want a new Baymax plushie for my collection and try all their sweet treats, and take lots of photos.”
After establishing what all their priorities were the line finally started moving quickly which got them all excited. Once they all passed the workers and scanned their tickets, and got their map they were ready to go explore. “Look, they got a Star Wars section!” Soobin pointed at the map. “We have to go.” Looks like the person who didn’t have a specific thing they wanted to do immediately found something and directed the whole group to that section. Luckily, Joohyung got them fast passes for the rides and they were able to skip all the big lines.
After they experienced Star Wars Soobin walked out of that section with his own custom R2D2. The group went to buy some snacks on their way from one ride to another. Of course they also stopped at places that look photogenic to take photos at.
“Ah…Jooie noona can I ask you something?” Beomgyu gently held back Joohyung from the rest of the group. Joohyung hummed at his question waiting for his reply. “Can we take…couple pictures?” Beomgyu whispered that last part so low that Joohyung almost missed it. Joohyung wanted to giggled at his blushed expression and how he didn’t want the other members knowing because they would instantly tease him. “Sure, puppy.” Beomgyu’s eyes lit up and immediately intertwined his hand with hers and got up with the group.
୨୧
“We should get our Mickey ears already since we rode a couple of rides.” Kai suggested to them which they agreed and headed straight into the gift shop. They broke up and started looking at the huge variety of different theme ears on the wall. “Noona should get these since their kid sized and won’t fall off.” Instead of the traditional ears Yeonjun pulled out a Mickey hat with a string that sits under your chin for support. “Ya! Stop making fun of my small head size~” Joohyung whined, as the members laughed. “Plus I prefer the Oswald hat more.” Joohyung grabbed the Oswald hat instead. “It’s cute.” Joohyung looked at herself in the mirror and pulled out her phone to take pictures.
Each member picked a set of ears that suited their taste and paid at the front and walked out with their new Disney merch on. “Ah capitalism strikes again.” Taehyun said while they walked to the next destination on their list.
As they somewhat finished what Disneyland had to offer they moved to California Adventure which Joohyung was more excited for since they had Cars Land, Toy Story, and the Ferris wheel. Also it was a big chance Joohyung could find her Baymax plushie on this side. So the group skipped over to Cars Land and had funny interactions with the cars that were out meeting people. They finally got on the car ride which Joohyung had been dying to get on, but the thing she didn’t know was at the end it was a race between their car and another car and that it would go fast.
“Ah!” She clinged on to Beomgyu who was sitting next to her enjoying his time with his arms in the air. They quickly ran to the photo section and once they saw Joohyung face in the photo it was a must buy purchase. “Look at her face!” Soobin was basically on the floor laughing at the picture. “Ya! That’s so unfair I didn’t know it would go fast in the end.” Joohyung smacked Soobin’s arm making him wince at the pain. “Ok, ok you two stop fighting and let’s finally eat a proper meal.” Yeonjun stopped the two.
They stopped to sit at a table outside and started to share the food around. You could tell they were hungry because no one spoke a word as they ate and drank their special Disney drinks. “I forgot to take a photo!” Yeonjun gasped, as he saw all the empty plates and half drunken drinks on the table. “Well until next time. Come on, we have to ride the Toy Story ride.” Beomgyu got up with the others following him. They cleaned their table and made their way to Toy Story. Unfortunately for them it was a pretty long wait and the fast passes sold out in minutes, but with a cute aesthetic of toys all around them some of the members kept themselves occupied with taking many photos.
“Hey, I got us this Disney drink.” Beomgyu was the only one that left the line to get something to drink. “I thought you were going to get a water bottle?” Joohyung asked while looking at the pretty drink. “Well I was l, but it was a bit expensive for a water bottle so I decided if it was going to be expensive why not get a Disney drink.” Beomgyu tried to justify his decision, making Joohyung laugh. “Can I try it?” Joohyung looked up at him. “Of course! Here.” Beomgyu led the straw to Joohyung’s lips. It only took a little sip of Beomgyu’s drink for Joohyung to love it instantly. “Ya! It’s so good.” Joohyung smiled up at Beomgyu.
After waiting for what seemed like hours they finally went into the ride and went crazy since it’s a shooting game. Joohyung was getting whiplash with all the turns the cart made. “Ya! Stop moving!” Joohyung yelled, as she was trying to hit the bullseyes. Joohyung came out dizzy holding on to Yeonjun who was experiencing the same feeling, causing the members to laugh at the two trying to walk straight.
“Let’s go on the roller coaster.” Beomgyu pointed at the only real roller coaster Disney has. The group went closer to the ride and Joohyung, Taehyun, and Kai already made up their minds on not going. “You guys go, we'll go see the shops.” Taehyun said, while hugging Joohyung and Kai’s arms pulling them away from the entrance of the line. “You babies!” Yeonjun teased them before following Soobin and Beomgyu in the fast lane.
As they entered the shop Joohyung was on the hunt to find Baymax plushies in the shops around the new San Fransokyo section. “Oh my god,” Joohyung sped, walking to the big Baymax plushie which was leaning against the wall waiting for her. “Look how cute he is!” Taehyun and Kai had to jog to catch up to her. “Noona he’s like half your body.” Kai chuckled, as he caressed the top of baymax’s head. “Do you really want him?” Taehyun asked even though he already knew the answer with how big Joohyung’s eyes got when she spotted the plushie. “Yes! He will be perfect for my collection.” Like a child Joohyung tightly hugged the plushie while swaying side by side. Kai and Taehyun gave each other the look and nodded, “ok I’ll buy you the plushie.” Taehyun smiled at Joohyung’s shocked face. “And pick something else too, I’ll pay for it too.” Kai took hold of the big Baymax plushie so Joohyung could look around. “Really?! Thank you so much.” Joohyung pulled the two into a hug and kissed their cheeks, causing a flush of pink on the tips of their ears.
Joohyung ended up completing her mission which was finding a new plushie for her collection along with getting a new oversized sweater, which came handy just in time for the cold night ahead of them. The three went back to the Incredicoaster where they found Soobin, Yeonjun, and Beomgyu barely coming off the ride. “It was so fun! You guys should’ve gone on.” Yeonjun smiled, while fixing his hair. “Nah, we're cool. Plus we were spoiling noona.” Taehyun pointed out the obvious. Joohyung held Baymax out towards Yeonjun so he could see the said ‘spoiling’. “I should have known.” Yeonjun was happy that Joohyung found what she was looking for since she loves the character so much. “Noona looks so cute.” Soobin pets her head affectingly.
⠀୨୧⠀
Before the fireworks started at Disneyland they went on the Ferris wheel and it was not the normal one, it was the one that swings back and forth. It was the group’s fault for letting Beomgyu convince them that it’s “not as bad as people think”. No, it wasn’t bad. It was WORST! Joohyung was screaming, hugging Baymax tightly while Soobin waa clawing his fingers through the cage they were in along with hugging Joohyung’s right arm. Yeonjun on the other side of her was fully hugging Joohyung’s head screaming with her. “Beomgyu I’m going to fucking kill you!”
Beomgyu who was across from them was laughing his ass off while recording the three enjoying his time seeing everyone freaking out. Taehyun on Beomgyu’s left side had both hands holding on to the cage while making his little side effect noises, no one could tell if he was having fun or was equaling shitting himself. Kai on the other hand was gripping the fuck out of Beomgyu’s arm while closing his eyes yelling with everyone else.
“Did everyone have fun?” The kind worker asked the group. “Yeah~ thank you!” Beomgyu was the only one who answered while the rest of the group groaned. To cheer everyone up Beomgyu bought them all ice cream, as they walked back to Disneyland to watch the fireworks.
⠀୨୧⠀
The group got a pretty good spot plus the boys’ height gave them an advantage to see the castle better. As the show started Beomgyu stood behind Joohyung with his arms wrapped around her shoulders, and resting his chin on top of her head. It felt good to the couple doing coupley things without worrying about people recording or criticizing them like how people get back at home. Soobin thought the couple looked so cute and took a photo, but at a 0.5 angle. Soobin bursted out laughing, showing them the photo. “What the fuck.” Joohyung almost started crying laughing at the picture.
After trying not to disturb everyone around them from taking funny pictures of each other the tiredness started hitting everyone. From waking up at 6 am and being still awake at 10pm without a nap was finally hitting. “Let’s go to the shops one more thing and then go back to the hotel.” Taehyun took charge. The final shopping was for everyone’s family and getting them little souvenirs.
They all purchased their things and finally headed to the trams where Joohyung ended up falling asleep on Soobin’s shoulder while hugging her Baymax plushie. Of course the members couldn’t hold back and take pictures of her from different angles. Since they didn’t want to wake Joohyung up again to drive back to the hotel Yeonjun ended up driving, but without doing a quick stop at in and out to grab some food. Once they made it to the parking lot of the hotel Beomgyu carried Joohyung bride style while Kai took a hold of Baymax.
The group ended the night eating and talking about little moments they had throughout the day while giggling at the half asleep Joohyung slowly munching on her burger. “Thank you noona. We had fun.” Kai whispered while tucking her back in her bed.

James at the scene of the crime again hejdjdjd them casually cycling to stop at the national theatre where a fan took pics and H got mad. One week this man disappeared, then he’s back on rental bikes through London with Corden stopping in front of the workplace of his rumored ‘date’, of course 😂💆♀️
When Harry’s doing pr stunts, James will make sure to be part of that press.
James will “lend Harry and Olivia his house to hide in”
James will turn into a Gucci model for his last year at Late Late
James will ask Harry to show up for his final show
James will show up as part of the white hoodie posse at Coachella
James will spend time with the beard, going to lunch and stuff
James will forget about that organic friendship when Harry’s done with said beard
James will stand in the crowd and dramatically sob over Harry’s success like it was his doing
James will then turn into a sun soaking Brit on a boat lover (but he’ll keep the shirt on)
James will suddenly become a theater nerd who needs to see shows at their premiere night
James is also a rent-a-bike ride kinda guy now
So I don’t know but after 2020 was a publicity gift to Ben Winston when they would walk through London together, Harry has passed on the torch to the next in need.
Maybe we’ll find out Harry is James’ personal trainer now and maybe we will have to endure them jogging through the park with no shirts on anytime soon. But Harry could also currently live in James’ attic. 🫠

Show Me Yours | Matty Healy [15]
chapter fifteen, act two: anobrain
masterlist
November 3rd 2013
Tommie truly feels like Stevie Nicks in this moment as she sings lyrics of songs she and Matty had written together, glancing at him from time to time.
Of course, she was not much of a Queen like Stevie herself and didn’t have the energy she had during the whole Silver Springs fiasco.
She had however, given several dirty looks to Matty everytime he tried to approach her on stage, and had gone back to hiding behind Ross in the shadows.
Usually, to try and cheer her up and lessen the anxiety she felt Matty would come over during songs and distract her as she played. Maybe he’d share a dance with her during a break in the song, play with her hair, lean his head on hers as they sang a part together.
But today, everytime he approached her, to the delight of the crowd who cheered a little louder as they had grown to love those little special moments of the shows. She shook her head.
At the end of the show Matty had tried going after her as she moved quickly off the stage, but George had suggested he stay back and distract Adam so he wouldn’t worry.
George had panicked when she wasn’t hiding away in her usual spots, but he had quickly found her when he realised her jacket (and his own packet of cigarettes from his jacket)had disappeared.
“For Christmas I’m gonna bulk buy you a bunch of cigarette packs so you stop stealing everyones.” He tells her as he approaches.
She’s stuck in her head, rethinking the past couple of days over and over. The night with Matty, the conversation this morning, everything.
“Tom?”
“Hmm?”
He holds a hand out and clicks his fingers a little, she shakes her head then starts patting herself down until she finds his pack handing them over to him.
“I-”
“Forgot yours, yeah, you always do.”
“Sorry.”
He shrugs, lighting the cigarette hanging from his mouth and leaning on the railing beside her. He eyes her sceptically for her apology, usually he receives a snark response, ‘sharing is caring’, ‘what's yours is mine’, yet today the one word is muttered, and is muttered so quietly his concern returns. “You alright?”
“Hmm?” She looks up, hands hanging down over the railing with the cigarette between her fingers, “Yeah.”
“What’s going on?”
She glances at him, preparing her little lie but one glance and she knows she can’t go through with it.
“Don’t say nothing,” He tells her, “Something’s wrong. Talk to me.”
Tommie doesn’t say anything to him, she just stares at the floor for a few moments. Instead of focusing on one anxiety, she brings up another, which probably isn’t a good idea with the current head space she’s in.
“I’m just… tired,” She tells him quietly, “And… scared.”
“Scared?”
She nods a little, “Been thinking a lot lately.”
He fakes a dramatic wince and raises his brows, “That must hurt.”
George smiles when he sees her lips twitch a little bit. “Funny.”
“Think I’m in the wrong career,” He tells her, “Should’ve done stand up, could’ve joined Tim on Benidorm or sumat.”
“Yeah, would’ve watched you on all the shitty UK panel shows that are weirdly always hosted by, like, Jimmy Carr or James Corden.”
He hums in agreement then gets back on track, “So, what’re you scared about?”
She shrugs, “I don’t know.”
“Come on, Tom, you know I have weird fears- I mean, nothing as weird as birds, that’s a stupid fea-”
“They’re scary things okay!” She jumps to defend herself, “They could fuckign peck your eyes out G, how you gonna play the drums blind, huh?”
“Well, I’m sure it's been done, by like.. Fuckign Hellen Keller or someone like that.”
“And why do they fly?” She continues on, “It’s fucking strange, they’re fucking strange. It’s a valid fear.”
He raises his hands and steps back with playful eyebrows raised, “Well, I can guarantee whatever you're scared of isn’t as stupid as birds.” She shoots him another glare.
“I’m scared something bad will happen soon, with us, the band… like,” She sighs running her hands through her hair, when the cigarette catches George is quick to take if from her hand so she doesn’t singe her hair, “I don’t know, G, and that’s what’s fucking my head up.”
They stay in silence for a while, George doesn’t know what to say, so he doesn’t say anything. A trait that she wishes Matty has for those situations where he should just keep his mouth shut.
The silence stretches until Ross lets them both know that their uber has arrived to take them out for drinks.
She sighs, “I’m gonna head back,” She tells George but he loops his arm through hers shaking his head, “G, I won’t be able to get in anywhere.”
“Come on, we’re famous.”
⋆。 ゚☁︎。 ⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。 ⋆
“Come on, we’re famous.” Tommie repeats bitterly as they walk away from the fifth place that has turned them away in the last hour.
She sighs looking back at the group, most moody and annoyed at the walking then to George who’s skipping ahead, “Another one up here, Irish bar, bound to let us in, come on.”
She sighs tugging his hand so he’ll stop, “I’m just,” She glances back again, eyes drifting over Matty who stands with his hands in his pockets, looking anywhere but at her, “Gonna head back, I don’t fancy drinks anyway.”
“Okay, we’ll walk you back-”
“G, it’s fine.”
“You’re not walking through Vegas at eleven on your own.” Adam says sternly.
“Tommie?”
She turns quickly, lips curving a little, “Hey, Caleb, what are you doing out here? Got a gig?”
He goes to hug her, arms lifting, but she stands completely oblivious and unmoving causing him to awkwardly act as if he was trying to lean on the fire hydrant beside her, “Um no, no, me and the band, we moved out to California, it’s Micthell, the guitarist, remember him?” He questions, she nods (she doesn’t remember him), “His brother’s bachelor party tomorrow night.”
“Oh cool, that’s uh, your version of a stag do, right?”
“Assuming that’s the party of the groom?”
She nods and he grins nodding back, he glances round the band passing smiles around, “Hey, ya’ll.”
The five of them cringe at the same time, Matty muttering something under his breath receiving a nudge and a quiet hidden snort from Ross.
“So, you guys had a gig?”
“Hard Rock Casino.” Matty butts in before she can open her mouth.
His smile widens, “Really? Supposed to be great in there, that’s where we're going tomorrow night.”
“Yeah?”
He nods, “Where are you headed?”
“Uh, these guys are gonna go bar hopping and I was just on my way back to the hotel now.”
“Cool, cool, shall I walk you? Wouldn’t want you wandering around alone at night.”
She glances back at the four, they’re all watching lined up in a row, all shaking their heads but she smiles at him, “That’d be great, thank you.”
“Tom-” Adam tries to protest but she smiles at him.
“I’ll see you guys in the morning, alright? Don’t get too drunk, show tomorrow.”
She gives them no time to argue and turns around with Caleb in tow.
As they walk, and he talks about his band and how they’re doing, she sneaks glances at him and takes him in.
He’s the complete opposite of every guy she has ever had a crush on.
Which has only been three people (excluding Alex Turner and Jenson Button).
The first guy was in primary school, he had this horrible bowl cut with dark brown eyes and equally dark brown hair.
The second was in comp when she was in year 10, he was taller than her, much taller than her by almost an entire foot. He played rugby, took ICT and PE as his GCSE’s and had, you guessed it, brown eyes and hair. Only he had this horrible mullet haircut that she weirdly found attractive. The moment he cut it off for a buzz cut half way through the school year the crush was gone.
The third guy was when she was younger, and well, it was Matty. The more she thinks of that one the more she realises it never really went away.
Caleb is completely different.
He has blonde hair that's slicked back, not like a sexy Alex Turner kind of slicked back, more like old mafia American movies kind of slicked back. But it looks good on him, his face is a wider, square shape and he has some darker stubble with larger eyebrows and brown eyes.
He’s not short, but he’s not exactly tall either, probably a few inches shorter than Matty.
He’s dressed differently to his vest and jean shorts she first saw him in, he has a tank top with a striped shirt over it and a pair of blue jeans.
“You had food? Was gonna pick some up for my friends and I, if you’re hungry we can make a stop. On me.”
“I am not one to turn down free food.”
“Tastes better free, right?”
She nods and thanks him as he holds the door open of some shitty 24 hour diner.
They sit at the back by a window and order, he has a burger and a strawberry milkshake, asking for two straws, she asks for just a plate of chips, to which the woman looks at her weirdly and she then clarifies by saying ‘fries’, with a dr pepper.
When food comes and they’re tucking in, she starts asking about the band, and how they’ve been doing since he saw her a few months back.
She tells him about the tour, and the festivals, going into too much detail of the Arctic Monkeys gig, he doesn't seem to mind, he happily sips from one straw of the milkshake and nods in encouragement.
“Where are you guys going tomorrow?”
“Tucson, then flying to Spain on the fifth.”
“The fifth?”
She nods and he mutters a quiet, “Damn.”
“What?”
“Was going to ask if you wanted to maybe get dinner, like, actual dinner, with me. You know, on a date.”
She looks down, “Is this not good enough to be a date?”
He shrugs, “I like to treat girls a little better than a dingy, greasy diner.”
Just as he says it the waitress walks by and pauses to cast a glare over her shoulder making Tommie lean back and quietly laugh into her hand.
He purses his lips and sends one of his charming smiles over to her, “Don’t order anything else, they’re gonna spit in it.”
“I’ll be sure not to.” She says, lifting the bottled dr pepper to her lips.
“So,” She then goes on to say, “If this were to be a date, and I, theoretically-”
“Of course, theoretically.”
“Agreed, what would we do?”
He thinks for a moment, “You strike me as the adventurous type.”
She’s not. She likes comfort and staying in her little self created box.
“First, I’d take you to see a gig of some shitty underground band-”
“Dirty Delights?” She questions and he fights back the smile at the sight of her own teasing smile, “Heard they’re pretty shit,” She shrugs, “Couldn’t even get drunk frat boys to join in.”
“I know, and I heard the drummer is a grade A asshole, he is also very attracted to this guitarist from that band. 1975, heard of them?”
“Oh yeah.” She nods, “They’re the talk of the music industry, next Fleetwood Mac.”
His teasing smile turns serious, “I think you could be.”
“What?” She pops another chip in her mouth and chews as he tilts his head.
“Be the next Fleetwood Mac.”
She snorts and drops the half bitten chip to lean back against the booth, he smiles bigger, “I mean it, you could be. You and Matt up there. Chaining each other up.”
“Oh my God, that is like the worst saying I’ve ever heard.” She giggles.
He smiles at the sound she makes, “What? It's been said.”
“By who, a serial killer?”
He raises a brow at her but doesn't comment, “Okay, back to it. We’d go to a gig, listen to some music, dress way too over the top for the back alley bar we’d be at.”
“Back alley?”
“Don’t worry, I’ll protect you from the creeps.”
“Hope so. But I warn you, I’ve got a very harsh right hook.”
He nods quickly, “Noted. I’ll make sure I’m never on the receiving end.”
“Then,” He carries on, “We’ll make use of our fancy outfits. Go to a nice restaurant, have a seat out on the balcony, you’ll make a comment about the stars- you seem the type- and I’ll ask about you. I’ll pretend to listen but I’ll actually be staring at you cause you,” He pauses and watches her cheeks tinge red, “You’re just so pretty in the moonlight.”
“What then?” She presses on.
“I’ll walk you back to your hotel, you’ll invite me up but I’ll tell you about my no kissing on the first date rule, you’ll ask me how many dates is okay for a kiss, I tell you at least five and you roll your eyes. It's not what I believe, I just say it so I’ll get to see you more.”
“And… happily ever after?” She questions.
He nods, “Happily ever after.”
“Hmm, maybe I’ll take you up on it.”
“Maybe?”
“Maybe.” She agrees as she stands and grabs her jacket, “Now, walk me back so I can invite you up.”
She sighs as he follows her out, a fake sigh as a smile stretches on his lips when he turns to nod at the hotel behind her, brows raising suggestively. “Afraid to say it, ma’am, don’t kiss women on the first date.”
She hums, “Guess you’ll have to take me on another.”
“Florida.” He says suddenly, his hands now in his pockets as they walk side by side.
“Hm?”
“The Big Ticket festival,” He clarifies, “We’re playing, You going to be there?”
She nods, “December?” He tells her ‘yes’, “Yeah, we’re going, I convinced the guys we need to go to Disney World.”
He nods, “Then,” He pauses opening up the hotel door for her, “That’s our first date.”
She turns to the lift but can just see it's open with a few people inside and jogs a little to get there faster, “Hold the door.”
Ross perks up, smiling lazily with his head poking out, “Tommie!”
She smiles at the four guys packed inside the lift, “Thanks guys, uh,” She turns back around to Caleb who’s passed a wave to them over her shoulder.
Matty raises a brow at him when Tommie’s not looking and turns his nose up in disgust.
“So.. Florida?”
She nods, “See you then.”
“Thirty five days,” He tells her, “I’ll count them down.”
“Surprised he can count after that awful count-in that he did back in Texas.”
George nudges Matty to shut up and Caleb looks up at him again, Tommie smiles, the muttering having gone unheard and as she goes to turn around ready to step inside but Caleb gently touches her hand for her attention.
“Think I might want to break my rule.”
“I wouldn’t hold it against you.”
He smiles and closes his eyes, leaning to place a simple peck on her lips, “Florida.” He says against them before walking backwards.
She stands there awkwardly only moving once he’s completely disappeared to step inside the lift.
The doors close slowly, no one says a thing.
“Ooh, Florida…” George says in an American accent as he grips Ross' face, “I’ll see you in Florida, my little alligator Queen.”
“Break your rule, Georgia boy, kiss me.” Ross says in a high pitched voice as they both start making kissing sounds at each other's hands holding each other's faces.
Adam giggles loudly, unable to stop and Matty stands there silently.
“Designated sober friend?”
He doesn’t say anything, just nods, “I’ll take Adam and George.”
“Adam’s bunking with me.” He says simply and she nods.
“Okay, uh, Ross is with John, right?” He nods again, “John’s beside me so, I’ll take them both.”
“I can handle my friends, Tommie.”
She nods, “Yeah, you’ve made that very clear.”
“Doesn’t seem to have bothered you much.” He comments, gaze still forward as she tries to untangle Ross’ hand from pulling on George’s hair.
The door opens and she ushers Ross and George, who are still hanging over each other, out into the hallway, like some kind of tired single mother.
She watches Matty and Adam head down the opposite way, Adam’s arms wrapped around Matty’s waist, his head on his shoulder.
Matty looks up as he opens the door, peeling a clingy Adam from him, his eyes catch hers and she pauses in the doorway.
“Goodnight, Matty.”
