  The rehabilitation ( still a process in motion ) was going as well as it could, he guessed. There had been numerous times since their fight where he had told his sister she should have just killed him -- ended all of this. But she hadn’t. And Jacen Solo was confined to the Jedi Temple, to the lower levels, to be watched and worked with -- the place where he awaited his trials.

  He had finally received permission to access the main floor ( after a number of months ), to go and retrieve his own food instead of having them make someone bring it to him three times a day. It was this though, that caused him to see a familiar face in the main hall. A little girl he hadn’t seen in... he couldn’t remember how long. One he told himself he should never be allowed to see again.

  Allana.

  Jacen stopped in his tracks, the grumbling of his stomach forgotten as he got lost in a flood of memories.

"did you have another nightmare?" (lastsoloheir)

Jaina stopped, bottle of Corellian whisky halfway down from the shelf, and turned to face Allana. 

“Yeah. It happens. When you get to be my age, you have plenty of reasons to have ‘em,” she shrugged, the casual nature of the gesture somewhat belying the tension in her small frame. 

“What about you?” she asked, pouring herself a hefty slug of the liquor and taking a sip. “Want me to make you some tea or something?”

@lastsoloheir​:  Allana comes up behind Luke and wraps her small arms around him in a hug. "Grandma Leia said you needed this," she says, her voice muffled in his robes. 

Luke smiled softly and crouched down to give Allana a true hug, balancing on one knee so he could be eye level with her. “Thank you, Allana. That’s very sweet.”

If his father knew how long it took for Ben to hear the footsteps behind him, he knew that the Grand Master would be worried. Still, as it was, he could sense his aunt before he even turned around, so he supposed that it would pass muster. "Can't sleep either?" he asked, turning slightly as though his brain might have lulled him into thinking it was Leia when really it was someone much more dangerous. Who knew these days? It wasn't as if his judgement was able to be trusted these days. Not really.

“I’m here - I’m here, now,” (lastsoloheir)

The voice was so quiet and so distant that, for a moment, Ben had to fight against the combination of pain and the medication given to him to help him sleep to recognize it as Allana in the first place. 

He forced his eyes open, blinking against the white light of the med center. He’d only been back for about twelve hours and was on a break from the bacta tank before going back in. He could feel the injured muscles straining and the sharp pain of bones that were fully fractured before his last stint in the warm pinkish liquid. 

They weren’t quite healed yet, but they would be. Thanks to Allana. According to what he remembered of what Aunt Leia told him, it was Allana’s insight that allowed them to find him in the first place. She’d saved his life. 

“Water?” he asked, hoarsely, gesturing lightly to the bottle sitting next to his bed. He’d wanted it the last time he’d awoken, but reaching for it himself just felt like too much.
