every year i’m in a different artist’s top 0.05 or 0.01 or whatever percent of listeners, and then the next year they have maybe one song in my top 100. is this a normal way to listen to music

#i am a hyperfixation listener i guess #this year it’s fontaines dc #last year it was tamino and this year he has one song in my top 100 #the year before i think i was in the top 0.001% for carly rae jepson and she hasn’t shown up in my top 100 since #but tbh even artists i consider my all time favorites frequently aren’t in my top 100 🤷🏼‍♀️#*i just looked and i was in carly rae jepson’s top 0.01 not 0.001 lol #still tho
