gashan, who so far has refused to speak selinyi with tunuva (the language spoken in the priory and their shared mother tongue), and instead uses libir-dialect lasian (one of the examplifications of her choosing lasia in general and the royal court specifically over the priory), finally speaking selinyi back to tuva, but only as she denounces their shared home, truly turns her back on the priory…

and tunuva! who has been calling gashan sister for the entire chapter, even with gashan’s refusal to call her the same thing back, calling to her sister (trying to make her see sense, trying to get back what and who she once knew), now calling her sister one last time, in farewell. she is not just saying goodbye to gashan, is she, but also to gashan being her sister?

Okay, I know so many Priory of the Orange Tree fans hate Niclays, but I actually love him. I love the trope of crotechty old people with backstories, and his relationship with that Lasian woman (I forgot her name, sorry) was so sweet. when we said a rosé x bruno collab would smash in korea i didn't think it would be this fast holy shit!!! yeah we already knew koreans don't play about either of them but this is crazy. ngl she's kind of a genius for releasing this 😳 and one thing about koreans is that they don't fuck around when it comes to their drinking games so making a song about one is so smart bcs anytime anyone plays this game in korea they will be singing this song. releasing it on a friday is great too for that reason. apt will be used in every variety show or kdrama drinking scene for the rest of time. koreans are gonna be singing it for the next decade 😁 having bruno on the song is the a cherry on top. obviously they're both great vocalists and musicians but they're both very extremely deeply unserious and playful people so this is really a match made in heaven 🤩
