whumptober 17: Wrongfully Accused
Fandom: Skyrim
Title: Watery Interlude #4: We Hate Windhelm
Characters: Muz-Lari (oc dragonborn), Lashur Urot (oc orismer)
Rating: G/T
Muz-Lari sighed through her nose as a guard glared at her. The joys of Windhelm.
“Hands to yourself, lizard,” the guard hissed. “And if I even think you might be fiddling with a lock, I’ll-“
“You’ll what,” Lashur growled as she stepped between Muz-Lari and the guard.
Lashur stood at her full height, face to face with the nord guard. They stood face to helmet for several long heartbeats, daring the other to move.
Eventually, the guard quietly stepped back.
“I’ll be watching you,” they mumbled before walking away.
Lashur snorted.
“Sorry-ass bastard,” Lashur muttered lowly, steel still in her gaze.
Muz-Lari stood next to Lashur and leaned her shoulder against her friend.
“I’m surprised they didn’t call you a pig.”
“Right,” Lashur huffed. “Probably scared I would have punched them,” she finished with a grin.
“Wouldn’t you?”
“That’s not the point. Now c’mon,” Lashur laughed as she put an arm around Muz-Lari’s shoulder. “Let’s go find the boys and get outta here.”
“Ornel and Inigo are by the docks. S’ariq said he was ‘shopping’. I’m not sure about Lucien and Nanak.”
“Probably at the White Phial. Why is Ornel by the docks?”
Muz-Lari blinked innocently at Lashur.
“There’s orphans down there, isn’t there,” Lashur said.
Muz-Lari hummed in affirmation.
“Of course. Let’s go see them.”

whumptober 3: Forced To Their Knees
Fandom: Skyrim
Title: She’s a Hard-Hitter
Characters: Vilkas, Lashur Urot (orsimer/ orc oc
Rating: G/T
Vilkas grunted as his left knee hit the ground. He looked up at the grinning orc woman in begrudging respect. It wasn’t often someone could knock him down. She truly was impressive.
Still grinning, Lashur sheathed her axe and offered a hand to Vilkas.
“Well done,” Vilkas praised as he took Lashur’s hand and let her help him regain his feet, his tone warmer. “What did you say your name was again?”
“Lashur. Lashur Urot.”
“Well Lashur, it looks like you’re one of us now. But don’t get ahead of yourself,” Vilkas said, his eyes and tone taking on a slightly teasing glint. “You’re still a whelp.”
Lashur snorted.
“Of course,” she drawled. “Just a whelp who put you on your knees.”
Vilkas began to scowl.
“Don’t worry,” Lashur continued, her tone becoming mischievous. “I won’t tell anyone how good you looked down there.”

whumptober 18: Panic! At The Disco
Fandom: Skyrim
Title: Leaving Solitude
Characters: Farkas, Lashur Urot (orsimer oc)
Rating: T
Farkas and Lashur walked down the road, leaving Solitude. It was just a little past dawn, and they were heading back to Whiterun. They had gone to Solitude to sort out a bear problem and spent the night there.
Lashur had stayed at the Radiant Raiment most of the night.
Farkas had spent most of the night wandering the city, kept up by the wolf. Even now, the wolf was still growling inside of him. Displeased that it could still smell female altmer lingering on Lashur.
Farkas bit the inside of his mouth to quiet the wolf. He could not stake a claim on Lashur just because he enjoyed their banter and fliriting. And she was free to bed whomever she wanted. The wolf did not like this thought at all.
“Are you alright,” Lashur asked. “You’ve been quiet so far.”
“I’m fine. Just didn’t sleep to well.”
“Do you wanna take a break at Dragonbridge or Morthal?”
“We’ll see. But I’ll probably be fine,” Farkas answered.
“If you say so.”
The pair lapsed into silence again. But the wolf kept growling. Soon, Farkas found himself wondering about Lashur. She was strong, attractive, a little flirtatious, which he didn’t mind and had been enjoying. And he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t just a little curious about her ‘friend’ back in Solitude…
“How was your night,” Farkas asked.
“Pretty good. I caught up with Taarie and slept well,” Lashur answered honestly.
“So…..are you and Taarie close then?”
Lashur looked at him sideways, an emotion…not quite clear in her gaze.
“Not really,” Lashur answered slowly. “I just drop by when I’m in town from time to time.” She let her sentence linger for a moment before asking, “Does that bother you?”
Farkas shook his head.
“Nah. It’s not any of my business. I was just curious and trying to make small talk is all.”
“Ah. I see. Well don’t worry ‘bout it,” Lashur said, turning her head to fully face Farkas, her mouth turned up in a slight smirk, her eyes mischievous. “What I got goin’ on with Taarie ain’t serious or exclusive.”
“And you fit my style just fine. In case, you wanted to know that too,” she finished with a wink.

here’s another dialogue snippet from the piece i started on for the week before last week
Farkas: Is it me, or does S’ariq and Dreamer spend a lot of time together now.
Lashur: They do. He’s not the friendliest person, but he’s a reliable companion for Dreamer.
Vilkas: snorts. I don’t know about that. It’s not like you can trust that cat.
Lashur: Excuse me?
Vilkas: What? He’s a sneak-thief.
Lashur: That cat has a name, you know.
Vikas: What’s your point?
Farkas: Vilkas...
Lashur: What’s your point?

Skyrim Thursday
hi, folks. i decided that every thursday this month, i’ll post a head-canon about my skyrim stuff. (maybe next month, i’ll think of some for transformers)
anyway, today’s head-canon is this: muz-lari enjoys doing crazy stunts when vilkas is around. she’s just thoroughly amused by his scowls. and she knows she hit the jackpot when his jaw drops or his face turns red.
lashur probably should be a nicer partner and ask muz-lari to stop raising vilkas’ blood pressure, but she finds it funny too.
it also doesn’t help when inigo is like ‘that was crazy, my friend, you shouldn’t scare us like that. but that was totally awesome and we should do it again.’

Skyrim Head-Canons
I just felt like jotting down some of my ocs’ thoughts on the civil war.
Muz-Lari:
Doesn’t really care or see much difference between the Stormcloak and Imperial armies.
She just wants to do what she wants and whoever rules Skyrim doesn’t change her path or her plans.
She gets very annoyed when she has to do the truce meeting.
Honestly, she kinda just wanted to Shout at them to get her way. Luckily, or not depending on your view, her friends stopped her.
Ko’va;
She has mixed feelings about it.
She thinks it’s wrong that the Thalmor kidnap, imprison, and torture people for worshiping Talos.
She thinks Ulfric is right to want to oppose the Thalmor, but Ulfric himself is a horrible person. Basically, he’s right but for the wrong reasons
She’s bothered by how racist and nationalistic a lot of the Stormcloaks are.
She also thinks its hypocritical of the Nords to want the freedom to worship Talos, but they condemn the Forsworn for wanting to worship their own gods.
She also thinks that if Hammerfell can hold off the Aldmeri Dominion for 20 years, then Skyrim doesn’t need the Empire to take care of itself.
Lashur Urot:
Favors the Imperial army, hands down.
She admits that she’s biased towards them since she was a Legionnaire kid. And grew up in Cyrodiil.
But she’s also bothered by the casual racism and bigotry of the Nords and Stormcloaks in general, and she’s sure that if Ulfric wins the war that they’ll only get worse.
Agrees with Ko’va that Skyrim doesn’t necessarily need the Empire to sustain itself.

Taarie: Leaving already?
Lashur: Yeah, I have another job around Dawnstar and it’s a bit of a hike.
Taarie: Ugh, dreadful place. I can’t understand how anyone can live there.
Lashur: Well the sooner I get there, the sooner I finish the job. Then I can take my time and enjoy myself somewhere a little more pleasant.
Taarie: You have a point, I suppose. Well, be careful. And do drop by again the next time you’re in town.

Lashur/Farkas Headcanons
its time for more skyrim oc/npc head-canon! day 23!
Who says I love you first:
Farkas.
Lashur was a little unimpressed at first, because he said it right after sex. (good job, buddy)
Luckily, Farkas is good at backing up his word, so after a couple of weeks she started to believe him.
Who cries the most:
Neither. They’re both silent criers. And they both tend to do it late at night, when they’re alone.
Who initiates sex the most:
Again, neither. Lashur and Farkas are both pretty comfortable with their sexuality and have no problems letting each other know what they want, when they want it. Especially, since they both have a high-sex drive
Sometimes, an exasperated Vilkas will wish that they were a little less randy and a little more discreet.
Who’s the kinkiest:
Lashur hands down. She’s picked up a lot of tricks from past partners and she’s more than willing to share her knowledge.
Who has less self-esteem:
Initially, Lashur. Her confidence takes a small hit after she moves to Skyrim. Since she’s from Cyrodiil and all races co-mingle a lot more there, she’s a little taken aback with how openly racist the Nords are in Skyrim; especially when they recognize/notice that she’s mixed race.
Thankfully, Lashur’s confidence makes a recovery and soon isn’t bothered by ignorant, bigoted Nords. She still punches them though.

OC Angst and Fluff Week; Day 4
Day 4: hallucinations and/or hand holding
so, i’m going to do something different today. instead of a fic, i’m doing to jot down some head-canons about my skyrim ocs and their friends when it comes to touch.
Muz-Lari
The only person she’s really physically affectionate with is Ko’va
That said, she rarely instigates touch. If she does it’s usually a shoulder or hip bump, or a fist bump or high five
She’ll occasionally tap the tip of her snout against someone
This is usually done to Ornel to apologize for any trouble she causes him
or S’ariq when he’s being extra grumpy
She does enjoy hugs from her friends and will always hug them back
She does become a little more open with physical affection when Ornel starts adopting all the orphans
She appreciates it when Serana, Ma’kara, or S’ariq will stand or sit shoulder to shoulder with her, but not speak when she wants quiet time.
Ko’va
This girl is touchy; she greets all her friends with hugs. And she also like to greet her non-human friends by pressing her nose to theirs
If you sit next to her, be prepared to have her tail, leg, or foot on you. or for her to lean on you
She’s also big on hand holding
If she’s walking by you or wants your attention she’ll always touch your shoulder
It startled Bikhai when he first met her, but he got used to it and started to appreciate it; especially when they got together
Purrs loudly almost anytime Bikhai rests his forehead on hers
Inigo and Kharjo are some of her preferred snuggle pals, because they snuggle back; especially Inigo
Nanak is tolerant of her snuggles
S’ariq is less tolerant, but will stay still for 5 minutes before moving away
Vilkas pretends to be bothered by her hugs; Farkas returns them with full force
Lashur Urot
Needless to say she’s affectionate
Friends get all the hugs, high-fives, pats, slap, etc..
A little crude
Will definitely grab your ass or tits in public if you’re banging; only if you’re okay with it though
If you tell her not to do something, she won’t do it unless you say otherwise
Her and Farkas actually keep score of how many times they can spank each other in a day
Vilkas hates it
Gives lots of forehead and hand kisses
One of her favorite places to kiss her partners is on the shoulder
Plays footsies with Vilkas anytime they sit together

OC Angst and Fluff Week; Day 7
Day 7: Character Death/Near Death Experience and/or Healing from Past Trauma/Forgiving Themselves
Here are some head-canons about my skyrim gals and how they feel when they or the people around them/ significant others almost die during their adventures
Muz-Lari
On the outside, she looks sorta fine. She looks confused or mildly worried to some people, her close friends know better
Inside, she is freaking the fuck out; especially if it’s Ko’va or Ornel
Luckily, Muz-Lari is quick to settle once her friends are out of danger and/ or recovering
She’ll never voice her fear/worry/concern
Instead she’ll do little things to help the injured friend to recover.
Like, make sure there’s plenty of food in the house, clothes cleaned, chores done, etc.
Once they’re better, she’ll give them first pick of the loot in an attempt to apologize
Ko’va
She’s obviously flustered and scared, but she keeps it together so she can try to heal them
Remember, her mom was a healer, so she learned how to temporarily direct her mind away from her emotions and to the task at hand
But as soon as it’s over, she’ll cry
Ko’va actually cries a lot. It’s what she does when she’s stressed
She’ll do her best to help the injured friend and heal them as best as she can while everyone finds a real healer
She’ll make extra potions to help the injury heal and numb any pain for any injured friend
For Bikhai or Muz-Lari, she’ll sit with them as they heal
As soon as they’re completely healed and on their feet, they get lots of hugs
Lashur Urot
She’s the one who keeps it most together
She’ll try to keep everyone else reasonably calm, while the injured person is helped while ignoring her own feelings
She’s a warrior and her partners are warriors, so Lashur has had to make herself accept the idea that one day, one of them are probaby going to get killed
She doesn’t like it, but she deals with it
She has a hard time sitting still though
So if Farkas or Vilkas are hurt and recovering, she’ll pop in to check on them and find some work within earshot; will stop and check on them every few minutes though
Anyone else, she’ll stay close and check in several times a day and offers to help them with whatever while they recover

Week 4 Recap
alright lovelies, it’s the final weekly recap for october and i have to say, i like the 500 words a week. and it is a little more manageable; especially since we’re nearing christmas season and i’ve got to start working holiday hours, while trying to start my career (so i can leave retail), and have several other projects to work on. so the plan for november is to do 500 words a week again and see what i can come up with.
now here’s what i’ve done for the last week.
Watery Interlude #5: Spider Thoughts- a fictober piece with the prompt “there’s just something about them/her/him. featuring muz-lari and inigo
Watery Interlude #9: A Bard’s Leap- a whumptober piece with the prompt adrenaline. this one is a little longer than usual and has quite a few people. characters include, muz-lari, vilkas, lashur, inigo, ko’va, and bikhai
i’m probably going to go through this month’s posts, clean them up, and post them to ao3 at the end of the week.
if anyone wants to send me an ask or prompt, feel free

Whumptober no. 13 Adrenaline
Title: Watery Interlude #9: A Bard’s Leap
Fandom: Skyrim
Rating: G
Characters: Muz-Lari, Vilkas, Lashur-Urot, Inigo, Ko’va, Bikhai
Muz-Lari stood on a stone platform overlooking a pool of water. She, with the help of Inigo, Ko’va, and Bikhai, had just helped Lashur and Vilkas clear out a Forsworn encampment.
She could still feel the echo of feim in her mind. She had left Ko’va and Bikhai by the word wall to open the chest hidden there. She could hear Inigo looting the forsworn corpses, while Lashur flirted with Vilkas. Staring at the water below her, she could feel power, feim, building in her throat.
“Hey! Don’t stand so close to the edge!”
Muz-Lari was pulled from her thought by Vilkas’ shout. She turned around to look at the stern nord. Muz-Lari noticed that Vilkas, Lashur, and Inigo were all standing around the base of the platform. When did they get there?
“Why?” Muz-Lari asked.
“It’s not safe.”
“Then why is there a ledge above a pool of water?”
“It’s the Bard’s Leap,” Vilkas explained. “A long time ago, bards would jump off the ledge while reciting stories or songs.”
“That sounds exciting,” Inigo said.
“Yeah,” Lashur agreed. “But why? What was in it for them?”
Vilkas shrugged.
“Honor and fame, I guess. Doesn’t matter, most of the people who tried, died. And no one’s attempted it in decades.”
Muz-Lari stopped paying attention to the conversation and looked back over the edge. Feim was still pulling at her. Then an idea came to her mind. She walked off the platform and passed her companions.
As Muz-Lari walked several feet away from the platform, Ko’va and Bikhai walked down the stone stairs to rejoin the group.
Ko’va saw Muz-Lari walking in her direction with a mischievous air about her. Ko’va’s tawny ears perked up, alert.
“What is it,” Bikhai asked, concerned by Ko’va’s sudden change in demeanor.
“Muz-Lari is up to something.” Ko’va walked ahead of Bikhai, slightly concerned for her friend. “Dreamer, what are you doing?”
Muz-Lari cocked her head at Ko’va as the tawny gold khajiit stopped in front of her. She waited until Bikhai stood next to Ko’va, then grinned.
“Watch.”
Muz-Lari then turned and started to sprint toward the platform. As she ran, she briefly heard snippets of words from her friends.
‘Wha!-’,
‘Drea-!’,
‘Mu-!’,
‘Has sh-’
As she ran, power built in her throat again. When she was two steps away from the edge of the platform, she released it.
“FEIM.”
Then she dived off of the Bard’s Leap.
Vilkas dropped his jaw, Lashur face palmed, Inigo rushed to look over the edge of the platform, and Ko’va and Bikhai run to the others.
“Do you see her,” Ko’va panted as she joined Inigo on the platform, laying her hand on the shoulder of the kneeling khajiit to look over him.
“Yes,” Inigo replied and points to a spot in the pool. “See, she’s right there. But I don’t see her moving.”
“Though, that doesn’t necessarily mean anything bad,” Bikhai said, leaning over Ko’va and trying to sound comforting. “Muz-Lari is an argonian after all. She won’t drown. And she does like to stay submerged in water for long periods of time.”
“She could still be injured,” Vilkas sighed.
Lashur said nothing as she looked over her companions, her gaze fixated on the pool below. Several heart beats go by and Lashur held her breath as she waited for the earth toned head of Muz-Lari to rise.
Muz-Lari opened her eyes. She didn’t know when she closed them. She rested a hand and her tail against the bottom of the pool and looked up. She could make out the far away form of her friends on the platform through the ripples. Then a flash of thought passed through her.
She just jumped off a cliff. Into a small pool of water. And she lived.
Muz-Lari had to stop herself from laughing water into her lungs. Adrenaline was still pulsing in her veins, so she stayed near the bottom of the pool and let her gills breathe as her chest slowed.
After a few moments, Muz-Lari pushed off the bottom of the pool and swam up. As her head broke the water, an apparition appeared.
“Congratulations, young one. It’s been a long time since someone attempted the Bard’s Leap. Even longer since someone survived it.”
Muz-Lari swam to the edge of the pool and lift herself out of it.
“Who are you?” she asked.
“Azzadal,” the ghost replied. “Though I have to say, as brave as your jump was, I don’t think your friends appreciated it.”
Muz-Lari looked behind her to look at her friends. And Azzadal’s statement appeared to be true. She could make out expressions of relief, exasperation, and bemusement on their faces. She turned back to Azzadal and shrugged.
“They’ll get it over it. Eventually.”
Azzadal laughed.

Skyrim oc: Lashur Urot
day 4 of 200 words a day. since i’m still on a skyrim kick, and i plan to use my skyrim characters for the oc fluff and angst week, i figured we continue on with my orc warrior.
Born in Cyrodiil; mother was part of the legion
Mother’s name was Urot and she was from Hammerfell
Lashur’s father was an imperial, he died when she was a toddler so she doesn’t remember him
Her best friend is Ornel. They grew up together since they were both legionnaire kids
She’s a bamf; takes no shit from anyone
Pansexual
A little promiscuous and not embarrassed
She is who she is, and likes whatever and whoever she likes, and if someone doesn’t like it, that’s their problem
Something like a mom friend. She will defend you, but also lets you make your own mistakes and will help and support you as you work your way through them. But if you need someone to punch them for you, she will happily do that too
Becomes Harbinger
Werewolf, so she becomes close to Aela
Is with Farkas and Vilkas, cause why should she choose?
Will probably have kids with the twins (I haven’t put too much thought into it)
Knows a little magic and alchemy, but definitely not a mage or alchemist
She fights with an axe and shield
She likes to wear her hair in the dreaded mohawk style. I head-canon that as the story goes on her hair grows longer til she has to tie her braids back in a ponytail or bun, but she keeps the sides of her head shaved
She hates racists and bigots.
Punches anyone who calls her a pig or mocks her for being mixed race
Also punches anyone who insults her friends. Like all the people that talk about making rugs and boots out of the khajiit and argonians
