The music was soft, softer than all of Larry’s music. It was different, sad, something was wrong, there were tears all over his face. Eyeliner smudged all over his face, his nose glistened under the lights.

“You think I'm pretty without any makeup on, you think I'm funny when I tell the punchline wrong..”

Travis’ heart dropped into his stomach, Larry did something, what had he done. Why hadn���t he told him, instead he was singing this song in front of everyone.

The words escaped him softly, so quiet no one heard it except for him.

“I know you get me, so I let my walls come down, down, before you met me, I was alright, but things were kinda heavy..”

“What have you done..?”

Their eyes met, tears dripping down Larry’s as Travis’ were scared, he was terrified. After all this time was he going to lose the one person he trusted more than anything? Part of him wanted to climb on top of the stage, demand answers but he stayed glued to where he stood, he was frozen in fear.

“You brought me to life, now every February, you’ll be my Valentine, Valentine. Let's go all the way tonight, no regrets, just love..”

His dad always warned him this would happen, boys were disgusting, he was disgusting for being gay, he was disgusting for being who he was.

Travis’ scars started to burn, top surgery that he got oh so long ago now felt as if his skin was rotting through.

“We can dance, until we die, you and I will be young forever, you make me feel like I'm livin' a teenage dream..”

Larry’s tears turned into sobs now, the words falling from his lips in stutters. The piano was so gentle compared to how the words sounded, whatever he had done. He was being swallowed by guilt.

“The way you turn me on, I can't sleep, let's run away and don't ever look back, don't ever look back. My heart stops, when you look at me, just one touch..”

The piano slowed, he couldn’t breathe normally anymore, he couldn’t keep up with the pace anymore. Ending the song early on the most important line.

“Now, baby, I believe this is real. So take a chance and don't ever look back, don't ever look back”

Everyone clapped, they sounded so far away, yet so overwhelming.

“Trav.. I.”

“What did you do?”

Each person who was once there watching Larry sing was gone, the building was empty, so many emotions raced through his heart. The back brace seemed to stick to his skin in a way that made his flesh feel inflamed.

“Please. Just, let’s talk.”

He followed his boyfriend outside, fingers picking at his skin, he could feel the sting as the cold air hit the red skin.

“Explain.”

“I was with someone.. It didn’t mean anything, it was just a hookup.”

“You.. You cheated?”

Guilt soaked his body, he couldn’t breathe. He couldn’t function, everything hurt, how could he do this to him?

“Get the fuck away from me.”

Travis’ tone felt like a stab in his gut, he deserved it, how could..

This is how it felt being in highschool, they were in highschool again, and suddenly Travis remembered it all.

Me and my friends are talking about a Larvis scenario where Travis dresses up as a girl to go on a date with Larry because Kenneth has people everywhere and if he's seen with "the gay troublemaker" he'll be punished, so instead he dolls up and they go on a date. Larry is trying to act macho not to blow his clover (he cannot act for shit). Travis is just embarrassed about the whole thing and then does it one more time before Kenneth dies in a *tragic* accident or something and they finally can go on dates normally

(Larry is Afab so Travis doesn't want to force Larry to dress up as a girl+ he likes boys so he decides he'll be the one dolled up for everyone's sake)

I read a fic once on AO3 and I think it was called something like "Lilies in Autumn" or something like that. It was a Larvis fic and it was really good. I kinda changed my view on the ship, in a good way. In the fanfic it talked about how Larry and Travis used to be friends when they were little but they had a falling out (probably caused by Travis' dad) and they grew to hate each other ever since but they miss each other. And Travis was really confused about his feelings because he was taught it's wrong to be gay but he likes Larry a lot anyways but hates himself for it. And overall it was just good writing. But then I think it got taken down or something because I never found it again and I was disappointed because I wanted the author of it to write more chapters. I honestly just want to know if anyone else remembers this or if it's just me.
