Canadian comedy writer Elaine Pope got her start writing audio sitcoms for CBC Radio in the 1970s featuring unknown actors like Martin Short and Rick Moranis.

She got hired to write a Lily Tomlin special in the United States and from there became writing partners with Larry Charles on the ABC sketch comedy series Fridays.

In the early 1990s, she and Charles were hired as staff writers on a new sitcom called Seinfeld, for which they won an Emmy.

A lesser known movie in Bob Dylan’s filmography, this 2003 comedy in an all-star affair with many actors enjoying roles in this disguised Biography of a an old fading Rock star played by Bob Dylan who is hired to play a benefit concert.

The movie was not a Box office hit and was quickly released on DVD but is  a must see for Bob Dylan fans

Dicks: The Musical has two scenes in an office setting that cut several times to a scoreboard that uses strong to extreme strobe effects. They are always brief, but they are unpredictable.

There is one spinning shot that lasts several seconds. Outside of this, all of the camera work is either stationary or very smooth.

Flashing Lights: 7/10. Motion Sickness: 2/10.

TRIGGER WARNING: Toward the end of the film, there is some incest.
