Ayyy this thing is finally almost wearable! The stomacher and cuffs are still pinned together, but I needed to check the fitting so that meant derping around while pinning everything into place. The neckline feels huge and I'm still not used to the 18th century sleeve fit, but it looks a little more normal once I start filling the neckline in with a fichu or eventual ruffles! It's been a little quiet here recently, but I've got a couple new projects in the works right now! I'm currently in the middle of skirt pleating purgatory for my #larkinandsmithfashionablegown which is all hand sewn, since it's been too hot all week to go do armor shaping outside.
