Hi! As I promised here there is the illustration for my very first DTIYS as host
.Many times I have taken part at this kind of challenge, but never as a host, so I'm quite excited.
This was initially meant as a way to celebrate my 500 followers on Instagram, but in this weeks the number increased and now I'm almost reaching 600, so it's a double celebration 🥳🥳I want to thank all of you for your love and support, if a year ago someone had told me that I would almost reach 600people on Instagram posting about my art I would never have believed them, but now it's reality and it's - for the most part - thanks to you. ❤️
Because many of you manifested your interest in my ocs, I decided to choose one of them as a character for this illustration, and after a poll on my stories, Larissa was chosen.
Because I have a special love for Larissa here is some curiosity about her:
✨she's a cat lover (as she should)
✨she's a libra and her birthday is on the 20th of October
✨she's literally a nerd, she likes studing literature and philosophy and I'm sure she would love the dark academia tag
✨in this fic, her family crest is a peacock
✨her favourite color is purple
✨her name - in this universe - means dove
✨in this au she and viserys are only four years apart and they don't marry until she's 24 and he's 19
✨before marrying she and viserys were pen pals
You don't need to have read my fic to join, so be free to draw her and post the result!
Rules are simple:
• tag me in the caption and the post, and use the hashtag made for this challenge #ilreleonewikiadtiys
• traditional and digital are both accepted
• no AI
• there's no need to replicate the exact background or the exact details, you can play with your imagination, however, it would be nice if you keep some parts, like the cat, the peacock and the the Roman-style tunic.
• for more details you can go to the stories on my profile
• no time limit, you can join whenever you can and want

The Queen of the West
In her dreams she never had silver hair, nor did her earlobes ever clink with the cruel laughter of tourmaline-and-silver. That was how Rhaena knew this was no ordinary dream. She dreamt of awaking to a stormy dawn, in a tall tower next to the sea. The tower was dark, the sheets a woollen wave of gold and black. In her bed she felt a presence, a long figure obscured under the voluminous blankets. It was tall enough to be Larissa, but with the certainty of dream she knew that Larissa was far, far away. When the figure shifted in the sheets she saw that it was a man. Maegor, she thought, with dread rising in her throat, but as the figure rose from sleep she realized she was mistaken again. His frame was thick and bearish, his body covered in a dense fur, but his hair was all wrong, a thick tangled crop of black-and-grey curls where long straight silver should've been, a great mop of hair that seemed to sprout over every inch of his body. The sheets parted, whispering as they did secret warnings too soft for her to hear, to reveal as he rose a patch of hair at the juncture of his thighs coarser and blacker than that on his chest, if that was possible. "My Aly," Rogar rumbled, smiling, and by some strange magic she found herself smiling at him too. They lay together there in the light of morningtide, until he made to hug her in his great bearish embrace.
Yet as he did she caught sight of his hand. In it was a dirk, sharp and short and cruel. As they embraced she could feel it enter her, gasping as it thrust into her belly once, twice, thrice. When they parted again it glistened wetly; it looked so beautiful in the radiance of the twilight moon. And as she saw the wound where it entered her she realized that from her body was spilling not blood, but light, which shone from inside her with fiery passion, and seemed to turn her skin aflame. And as he thrust his knife inside her again and twisted, it grew and grew inside her, until it became a sword that seemed to pierce her very heart, and she cried with a scream that was half anguish and half ecstasy as his face warped and twisted into that of a stranger, and the room and time dissolved into mists until she did not know where she was, only that it was dark, so dark.
And the visions danced faster around her now, rippling fierce and feverish like the silvery waters of the Godseye in the dim of the westering sun. She saw dragons dance, and die, and dance again, and she saw an old man with a shock of brittle white hair weeping before a heart tree, while the autumn snows drifted sorrowfully all around. She saw a great chalice of iron bubbling with the blood of ten thousand dead, with moon's blood and knight's blood, the blood of king and commoner and hero and whore mingling until there seemed to be no difference between one or the other, the blood of the chalice pouring out onto the base of a castle that was long as the horizon was tall, and quaffed the blood as it cascaded. She saw herself wither and die; she saw herself rise from her own grave, wearing a different name, and die again, and rise, twenty times over, until her face became that of a girl kneeling in a funeral pyre with three scaly stones in her arms. And she saw the same girl later wreathed in flame, while all around her great shadows of ice rose and cackled in frosty tongues. And through the mist of dream she felt herself waking, for true this time, to morning bells that echoed through the walls of that scorched ruin of a castle.
Rhaena Targaryen, Queen of the West, rose to the taste of blood on her tongue, while the carillons of the towers of Black Harren echoed doom, doom, doom.

Ladies in Waiting to Queen Alyssa Velaryon
Larissa Velaryon A distant relative of Alyssa and close companion to her eldest daughter, Rhaena. Recalled to Driftmark to marry the second son of Tarth and replaced with Eraena Velaryon.
Eraena Velaryon Daughter of the Queen's brother, Daemon Velaryon. Stayed with Alyssa even after her marriage to the son of Lord Bar Emmon, and only left court after the Queen's death.
Nesaena Celtigar Sister of Edwell Celtigar. The most steadfast and loyal of Alyssa's ladies, she was described as the queen's closest confidante. Never married, and stayed with Alyssa until her death. Later died of the Shivers in 59 AC.
Alys Tyrell Sister of Lord Theo Tyrell. Initially so close to the Queen as to be part of the name sake for her daughter, Alysanne, something changed a few years into her stay at King's Landing. Alys became despondent and eventually returned home to Highgarden, where she married Lord Caster Vyrwel.
Cerenna Baratheon The sister of Rogar Barethon and future sister in law of the Queen. Perhaps the most aloof of all her ladies, Cerenna kept mostly to herself and little is known about her besides the fact that she married a son of House Corbray after the death of her goodsister.
Anora Tarbeck Sister of Alyn Tarbeck. The sunniest of the Queen's ladies, Anora had many hobbies and twice as many suitors. She wasn't long in the Queen's service before a son of House Reyne caught her attention, and she soon left to marry him.

Rhaena Targaryen was the eldest of the six children of King Aenys I Targaryen and Queen Alyssa Velaryon. She was a dragonrider, and rode the dragon Dreamfyre.
Rhaena was forcefully married to her uncle, King Maegor I Targaryen, who had usurped and killed her husband Aegon, becoming one of his Black Brides. Later, in the reign of her brother, King Jaehaerys I Targaryen, Rhaena was called the Queen in the West during the time she spent in the westerlands, and the Queen in the East during the years she held Dragonstone.
Appearance and Character :
Rhaena had lively lilac eyes and silver-gold hair. She was small at birth, but happy and healthy. By the age of fourteen, Rhaena had grown into a beautiful young girl.
Rhaena was a shy, dreamy child, more comfortable with animals than other children. She would often hide behind her parents as a child when near strangers, and never warmed to any of the female companions her mother presented her with. She much more preferred books. After bonding with her dragon Dreamfyre, however, Rhaena began to outgrow her shyness. After she had flown for the first time, though she remained a quiet child, she could no longer be considered timid. Shortly thereafter, Rhaena made her first friend. Numerous female favorites would follow throughout her life.
Rhaena had an exquisite singing voice. At eighteen, Rhaena was considered brave, fierce and headstrong. As an adult, she was sometimes stern and sometimes shy, frequently brooding. Rhaena had no interest in other people's children, but was possessive of her own, and of people she loved. She was furious when betrayed, and scornful of those she did not trust. Due to numerous betrayals and tragedies in her later life, Rhaena became withdrawn and detached. In her last years, her hair turned completely white.
Quotes by Rhaena :
You are fearless when facing a girl on a horse, I see. The next time I come, I will be on a dragon. Throw dirt on me then, I pray. -Rhaena to Poor Fellows
I do not have time for tears. -Rhaena, after hearing of the death of her husband Aegon in the Battle Beneath the Gods Eye
Rhaena: And Silverwing? Our sister— Jaehaerys: —had no part in this. I will not put her at risk. Rhaena: She is Rhaenys, and I am Visenya. I have never thought otherwise.
-Jaehaerys I Targaryen and Rhaena, about the theft of three dragon eggs
Her blood is on your hands. Her blood is on your cock. May you die screaming. [...] She gave you one son, that should have been enough. Save my wife, you should have said, but what are wives to men like you? Hear this, my lord. Do not think to wed again. Take care of the whelps my mother gave you, my half-brother and half-sister. See that they want for nothing. Do that, and I will let you be. If I should hear even a whisper of your taking some other poor maid to wife, I will make another Harrenhal of Storm's End, with you and her inside it.
-Rhaena, to Rogar Baratheon
I fed my last husband to my dragon. If you make me take another, I may eat him myself.
-Rhaena to Alysanne Targaryen
Quotes about Rhaena :
She is mad. Does she think to frighten me? Me? I did not fear the wroth of Maegor the Cruel, should I fear hers?
-Rogar Baratheon
Whatever else she may be, Rhaena remains the blood of the dragon, and my sister, whom I love.
-Jaehaerys I Targaryen to Myles Smallwood
My brother Aegon died at the hands of our uncle in the Battle Beneath the Gods Eye. His wife, my sister Rhaena, was not with him at the battle, but she died that day as well.
-Jaehaerys I Targaryen at Rhaena's funeral pyre

TDIOBCB challenge - day 7:
First Meeting - The Wedding of Prince Viserys and Larissa Roagre in the Throne Room
"Many years later, the prince, reminiscing about how he and his wife had first encountered each other, would confess to his children, not without a blush, that even before laying eyes on her, the words Larissa wrote during those years were enough to make him fall completely in love with her. He almost dismissed the revelation of her true appearance as playing any significant role in his infatuation. According to Prince Viserys, it was the eloquence and magnetic personality of his then-fiancée that enchanted him to the extent that concerns about her beauty took a back seat. Whether this is the whole truth remains uncertain; however, it is worth noting that the marriage between Prince Viserys and Larissa Rogare, though not initially under the most auspicious circumstances, evolved into a great love story that culminated in a long and happy union. If, before the arrival of his promised bride, the mind of the young prince was primarily occupied with the company of beautiful courtesans and high-born prostitutes, from the moment the stunning Lyseni maiden graced King's Landing, no other woman crossed the threshold of the young man's bedroom except her. This continued until her demise in 165 AC. Every ounce of his energy, both physical and mental, from the day of their marriage, was devoted solely to his wife. She, no longer a girl, possessed not only extraordinary intelligence and culture but also breathtaking beauty, affirming the reality that the most beautiful women in the known world indeed hailed from Lys. Their union stood as a testament to the enduring power of love. Still, even if, want to believe him for the sake of historical honesty, I must report the multiple testimonies of some members of the court, present at this marriage at the time, who claim that the newlywed groom, who had never seen his bride before the ceremony, remained anything but indifferent to her appearance. According to them, during the grand entrance of the noblewoman, who arrived in the castle's Sept dressed in an exquisite and lightweight gown made entirely of golden silk that vividly revealed the perfect curves of her womanly form, accompanied by her fifteen ladies-in-waiting, the groom, was so dazzled by her dazzling beauty, that he needed to be supported by his brother Aegon to prevent himself from falling on the spot from sheer emotion. The young prince, who had always been famous for being an easygoing lad, remained dumbfounded in front of her like a statue of salt throughout the ceremony, unable to find the words to express his wonder, to the point that, for a whole minute, he mistakenly recited the marriage formula almost three times before starting to recite his vows correctly. It seems that the young prince was not the only one to be astonished by the entrance of the new princess. The same witnesses claim that even Prince Daemon was amazed by his new daughter-in-law, as evidenced by the widening of his eyes. During the celebration, he went so far as to congratulate his son conspiratorially, calling him "the luckiest man in the Seven Kingdoms."
