Starting my week with @laneige_us products. #Laneigegiftedme their Fresh Calming Toner and Fresh Calming Mousse Moisturizer. 🌸 The Fresh Calming Toner promises to bring you a refreshing and soothing feel on the skin. It's all thanks to it's key main ingredients which are Lychee and Deep Sea Water. 🌸 The Fresh Calming Mouse Moisturizer promises to give you a hydrating and calming effect on the skin. Like their toner, Lychee and Deep Sea Water are the key ingredients in this product. 🌸 I really love the packaging of these two. I think the color and the design of the bottles are so beautiful and they both have a light scent of lychee which I really enjoy. The Toner is so light and gentle on my sensitive skin and I do find it refreshing and soothing. The Mousse Moisturizer is definitely something new to me. I have not tried anything like this before. The texture makes me think of a cloud. It's so light and it gets absorbed quickly once you spread it on your skin. I have a combination skin type and I feel like this is too light for the cold season. Yes it does hydrate but not enough with the kind of weather that we are having right now. However, I really enjoy it's texture and I find it so fun to use. Since moving to a dryer climate hydrating toners have become a staple in my routine and I’d heard great things about this one in particular. - Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer is a 2-in-1 formula that preps and softens like a toner and moisturizes like a cream for maximum hydration benefits in one simple step. The standout ingredient in this formula is White Leaf Tea Water, the leaves of which are harvested once a year and grown in the shade, meaning more amino acids to strengthen the skin barrier, moisturize, and soothe skin. - To apply I cleanse, use my standard calming or exfoliating toner, then I use this more like an essence, pouring a few drops of product into hands and pressing gently into skin until absorbed. - While I did expect it to have more of a lotion-like consistency, this is more of a milky toner that manages to be both rich in moisture and lightweight. It does have a bit of slip to it but absorbs quickly into the skin for me and although I do still need to follow with a moisturizer I find it to be soothing and relieve that dry, tight feeling very quickly. I use this cream in the last step of my night routine after I've toned and moisturized my face to seal in all the goodness before hopping into bed. . My skin feels so dry during the winter. The texture is a hybrid of gel-cream, think Belif Moisture Bomb. It's definitely thicker and creamier than their original sleeping mask which is more of a gel texture. Cica helps to calm, reduce redness, and soothe irritated skin. . Melts into my skin as I sleep and I wake up with hydrated nourished skin in the morning.
