Thank you @farmprojects for a great exhibition! #repost These two paintings titled Snowman in Summer I and II carry some history. They’re a throwback to a body of work that I did when my son was just a toddler, where I used snowflake imagery and the structure of a snowmen: three simple geometric balls (head, heart, body) as temporary catchment basins for passing time, layered relationships, complicated experiences, and unanswerable questions. Oh hey! I am thrilled to announce that the Seed Packets from my commission project with NY based Hudson Valley Seed Company are now available! They commissioned ten artists to create a unique artwork for their 2021 Art Pack Seed series, and my image depicts the mystery and magic of the Purple Perfume Nicotiana✨💜✨ HVSC has also produced a beautiful limited edition fine art print of my piece, and both the seeds and prints are available on their website (mine too in the near future).
