Creepy and moody and just right . . . . . Reposted from @deathbycouture I’ve been posting a whoooole lot of yellow lately because it makes me very happy. Here’s something else that makes me happy- a deep purple on a dark base, reminiscent of a dark night, when the moon lights up through the clouds. Creepy and moody and just right. I might be ready for Halloween. Also, still a fun vivid color but slightly more low maintenance for busy people like my awesome girl Nikki here. 💜⠀ ⠀ To get this look, remember that less is more! You need the dark underneath to really showcase the top properly! Simply apply your root color if you have one, then take medium/large diagonal slices directed away from the face (size depends on the thickness of hair) and foilayage with a very deep v pattern. Do this all the way around the head, leaving the underneath out. After washing all of that out, apply your chosen purple over the whole thing. Bam! Beautiful and lower maintenance. Sometimes less is more. ⠀ ⠀ Base: @goldwell 4v+4n/20 vol (gray coverage!)⠀ Lightener: @oligopro Blacklight extra blonde + cool blonde mixed (don’t sleep on this!
