Song of Youth (玉樓春) has a LOT of actors that I like but it also looks like it’s going to be an idol-type drama, considering most of these actors were on Yu Zheng’s acting competition reality show.

The English name is Song of YOUTH, but I’m not sure that youth has anything to do with the story based on what I’ve read of the story. And the story sounds pretty serious, but the trailer was pretty comedic so I don’t know what to think of this show anymore.

From what I’ve seen in the trailer, Lamu Yangzi and He Lei (Ning Chen in TROP) play a couple, and Jin Chen (Yueya in Wuxin) and Chang Long (Feng Hao in TROP) play a couple. Zhou Lula (Crown prince in Longest Day in Chang’an) is also in the drama but I couldn’t see him in the trailer.
