Laura’s La Mia Risposta / Mi Respuesta + first single Un’emergenza d’amore / Emergencia de amor came out today 24 years ago! 

This was a ground breaking album, it was a step back from the much loved heavy ballads and included more lighter tunes but more intime approach on love. Besides the first single, it included the title track and In Asseza Di Te / En Ausencia De Ti + Looking for an angel, written by Phil Collins and Anna Dimmi Sí for anorexic girl Anna from Sicily. 

However, it failed to reach the sales of Le Cose Che Vivi / Las Cosas Que Vives and that’s why is not considered Laura’s best works. What do you think?

Laura's 4th studio album La Mia Risposta / Mi Respuesta was published exactly 20 years ago! It was the album that sold a little less than her other works but professionally it was significant step on her career. Laura produced her music for the first time and clearly was looking for separation between her new album and the previous ones. She lost weight to be able to sing better, the arrangements were lighter, more playful and rhythmic. There were also some soul and Latin American urban sounds. Besides of the hits title track, Un Emergenza D’amore / Emergencia De Amor, In assenza di te / En Ausencia De Ti worth mentioning for was Looking For An Angel written by Phil Collins especially for Laura, Anna dimmi si / Ana Dime Si dedicated to anorexic girl from Sicily. Mother Theresa inspired Buone Veritá / Un Gran Verdad. Other good ones include Una Storia Seria / Una Historia Seria, Che Bene Mi Fai / Me Siento Tan Bien and Succede al Cuore / Sucede A veces. What’s your favourite from it?

La mia risposta/ Mi respuesta, the title track of her fourth studio album released twenty years ago has not been sung live since 2005. But with this new tour coming up it’s making its comeback!
