Taken in late March, lambing was well into it’s second half for our pedigree Shropshire’s. We like Shropshire sheep because they are a multi-purpose small native breed, and most importantly they don’t eat Christmas trees!

Been a bit insta quiet lately as I was putting together our lambing event at work and then doing the actual lambing itself. This year has NOT been as easy as last. We have lovely ewes and great lambs, but almost every birth has involved assistance of some kind which is pretty stressful on me and the other sheperdess. We've also had to deal with some losses, adoptions and Molly, in particular, high pressured situations where you're not only lambing but doing it in front of the public for education. Super proud of Molly. 4 ewes left to go and that will be it for another year. I'm not sure whether I'll be disappointed or relieved!
