Great blue heron at Lake Churchill. Literally seconds before this, I was commenting out loud about the lack of all herons lately in my life; and then this still and beautiful statuesque modern dinosaur appears through a cloak of autumn leaves, more still than the water around its skinny legs. This is the kind of crazy beautiful weather I've been dealing with 😏 and it is not getting old 🌿🌳🌈☀️🌔 August has been flexing hard, and fair enough; it's a wonder and a winner. Still more? Oh yes! thank you 🙏 Heart is mostly peaceful, head is full, notebook pages and apps are trading and gaining content, cells are fortified, feet and fingers are frequently starting unplanned dance parties, eating of delicious things is happening probably excessively and definitely happily, belts are a current mystery, good people are happening, glimpses of magic are in the world, color characters plotlines just increase and interpretation as yet does not accompany overnight evanescent adventures. #howdoesitgetbetterthanthis #summer at #lakechurchill on a #beautifulday with #blueskies over the #lake between Exceptional July and September (at Maryland)
