I have a few questions about your driver guy:

🕷 Considering irl scientists are trying to make a synthetic spider silk with how strong and elastic it is, does drider ever sell his to make some quick cash (I can imagine fibre artists would love the stuff).

🕷How tall is he? His legs are bent and I can't tell, but I thought he was on the shorter side, like a corgi 🥺💜

🕷Are they single (Fish once again making an OC I want to date)

🕷️ i don’t know if he SELLS his silk, mostly bc i don’t know how, uh, social he is. i do have a backstory god him but i don’t do much have a SETTING for him, so i don’t know if he would be in a situation where driders are accepted or if he lives on the fringes. that being said, he does USE his silk for a lot of things, including making all his own clothing.

🕷️ i DO like a short king but i don’t know how short he was before he became a drider. his second and third legs are relatively short compared to his first and fourth set of legs (because he is based on a black widow as opposed to something like a tarantula), though, so yeah he rides relatively low to the ground. like a corgi. 💜

Rusty and Oda are beginning their friendship vacay, and the secret world of sea life in the tide pools is a treasure trove!

Featuring the characters of: Mingles, Deezmo (who is not in the art bash), limecornchip, anon art basher, Shunned, soft_orc, Sarcoptid, BiNightmare, echoesofwinter, Lafayelle, and Lightsnappin.

This took around 56 hours from start to finish for both pages combined--so my entire week was this, lol. I’m just so excited to be back! I really hope you guys like it!!

Tagged by @kaelang12 💛 but the huge number of gifs in the thread was really messing with my tablet/crashing my app, so anyway I’m doing a modification on this game: just listing favorite movies (with some descriptions!); so kind of doing a completely different game 😅💛… I don’t really have strong favorites but anyhow, in no particular order:

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - mindblowingly innovative animation and development history

Lilo and Stitch - I appreciated the layers of this story a lot more when I was older; also the animation and watercolor backgrounds are 💯

Legend of Luoxiaohei - it’s a story about a homeless migrant cat-boy-child who gets adopted by his peerless teacher 😭 who’s cutting onions in here; love the animation

I Am What I Am - lion dancing animated film! Basically a martial arts film about lion dancers! Stunning animation; absolutely knock-out ending 🪷

Kung Fu Hustle - I really like the sequence of daily life in Pigsty alley; and the fight sequence when the hidden martial arts masters were revealed; and the next fight sequence when more hidden masters were revealed; every new surprise was a delight, every choice of music and cinematography and choreography

Modern Times - Chaplin film. Timeless really…

Pad Man - fictionalized adaption of a real story about a man in India who developed accessible feminine sanitary pads. Yes, a little bit corny in the story presentation of it sometimes, but… also a very rare story that is about how love for one person becomes necessarily transcendent to encompass all of society when trying to address positive changes, and the absolute humility and shamelessness that sometimes has to entail… big risks, no shame! ✨ Also a film that I really enjoyed more after going to India. You appreciate the little things a lot more…

The Winter Soldier - why do the fight scenes make me feel emotions; perfect use of music/sound

01: Who is your oldest OC?

My oldest OC is Lafayel, though he's gone through many names and changes since I first created him. I think I've had this OC since I was 8–10 years old. He's one of the main OCs in (one of) my original worlds.

He's basically a wild and somewhat quirky bisexual disaster with hydrokinesis.

Here's a mood board I made for him awhile back. 😊

02: Who is your newest OC?

It's really hard to say which is my newest OC because I very often will make single appearance characters for my WIPs and I don't really keep track of those. 😅
