How do you like NCT DREAM's new album so far?

i really like dreamscape so far! this is, yet again, another solid album - as expected of nct dream ( ˘︹˘ ) i was surprised by how a lot of their songs had an edm/futuristic vibe to it! so far, my favorites are you, heavenly, and off the wall, but of course, that might change once i listen to the album again a few more times \^o^/

What does your September writing agenda look like?

i think updating chapter 17 of somewhere only we know will be on my september writing agenda! usually, i'd post the next story in the queue that needs updating first - which is supposed to be hauntingly beautiful - but i think i'll update somewhere only we know first so that i can update hauntingly beautiful in october for the spooky vibes :p

You might not agree with me on this, but Taeyeon's concept photos for "Heaven" are FREAKING ME OUT. I have no issue with this dark (Halloween?) concept coming from Red Velvet (like RBB), but seeing this from Taeyeon will probably give me nightmares tonight. Have you read the creepy recipe?!

NO I AGREE! when the comeback was announced, the VERY first few teaser images ALREADY made me feel unnerved! the teaser images aren't *that* bad but the bear clip that was released today really solidified my fear, LMAO. i agree that the recipe is creepy! recipe for a taste of heaven? more like a recipe for a taste of hell o((⊙﹏⊙))o

taeyeon's mentioned that she loves horror and gore, so i just KNOW that she's having a blast with this. meanwhile we're all terrified to death. i bet you she's laughing at us right now つ﹏⊂

One of RIIZE's new B-side songs is called "One Kiss"... Same name as one of Red Velvet's B-side songs... SM can do better than that!

sm does that a lot, where a lot of groups share a song of the same title! for example, monster - there's exo's monster, red velvet - irene & seulgi's monster, the list can go on

Would you consider writing E2L fanfics in the future?

the way i had to look up what that meant lol (i am out of the loop when it comes to trope slangs) ⊙.☉

i feel like this trope is the one of the hardest tropes to write since so many authors do it wrong - the first meeting between the main leads would go wrong and suddenly they're enemies like bffr how is that enemies (¬_¬ ) - and i really don't want to butcher this trope. so to answer your question, i'm not sure when or if i'll ever write an e2l fic in the future! ^^;

i must warn you that i've been busy ever since school started which is why i haven't watched or read much, so i apologize if my list seems short! orz

watched:

haikyu!! to the top parts 1 and 2 - i watched season 4 of haikyu!! sometime in january and it was so GOOD. i found yet ANOTHER character that i love - kita best boy - and another school that i love - my inarizaki babies (*￣3￣)╭. i'm still bitter that we're not getting another season but i can't wait for the 'battle at the dumpster' movie when it comes out internationally! －O－

one piece live action - i watched the first few episodes of the one piece live action in 2023 but i hadn't gotten around to finishing it until sometime in january! i'm not very far into the manga, but there are a lot of things that were in the manga that made it to the live action and a lot of things that were not in the manga that were added/cut out/changed in the live action. overall, it wasn't horrible but it wasn't good, but it is a lot darker than the manga. and no one asked for this, but the mihawk portrayal is scrumdiddlyumptious - mans looks FINE (￣﹃￣)

one punch man season 2 - i FINALLY watched season 2 of one punch man in the beginning of february and it was nice! i preferred season 1, but i enjoyed seeing saitama's goofiness and meeting new characters! ヾ(＠⌒ー⌒＠)ノ

aggretsuko season 1 - i rewatched season 1 just recently because i missed watching it and it was so relatable, it hurts. a lot of what retsuko went through is what i'm currently going through and it's just been reassuring to feel represented. \^o^/

read:

i also have not read any books, lol, but i've been reading a lot of fanfiction! because i watched season 4 of haikyu!!, i went back to my haikyu!! phase (i never left). some of my favorite fanfics include:

arankita - falling petals - derelictstar

thoughts: 1) stan true love, stan arankita. 2) my heart (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`)

kuroyaku - boyfriend jacket - pratintraining

thoughts: this is so stinking cute! read to see yaku being the BEST boyfriend and for kuroyaku fluff (❤️ ω ❤️)

kuroyaku - get a little bit genghis khan - pratintraining

thoughts: the banter and jealousy between kuroo and yaku is so on-point and hilarious - another must-read (^///^)

atsuhina - timmy play your trumpet (let the people go beserk) - farozaan

thoughts: this is one of my favorite atsuhina fics and for a good reason, too. i feel like this is more msby 4-centered than it is atsuhina-centered, but this is a hilarious read - i laughed so many times o(^▽^)o

listening:

i've been mainly on my taeyeon grind, lol, but there are some other songs that i've been listening to! they're older songs, but they are still bops nevertheless. ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ

taeyeon - why - i was in a melancholic mood (does anyone else think that 'why' seems like a sad song?) which explains why this song has been on repeat for awhile now! it might be an older taeyeon song, but it's still a banger nevertheless! ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ

exo - she's dreaming - i stumbled upon this song on accident, and it is SEVERELY underrated. this is officially one of my favorite exo ballads and everything about this song is just PERFECT. it's honestly such a shame that it was never performed live. `(*>﹏<*)′

teresa teng - tian mi mi (sweet honey/sweet on you) - i grew up listening to this song periodically but i didn't know the official name of the song until i was scrolling through instagram and found it. it has been on repeat for almost 2 months now and i don't mind - it's such a sweet (pun fully intended lol) song! (づ￣ 3￣)づ

Have you seen the teasers for "Smoothie"? I don't even know what concept is SM planning for these guys...

i did! the mv teaser is just...what is going on?! i'm sure smoothie will be a banger of a song because sm music almost always slaps but the mv is definitely questionable so far ＼（〇_ｏ）／

The first second of "Heaven" MV teaser has a bloody cake (probably just cherry juice behind the scenes), and the rest of the music sounded like "Weekend". I'll have nightmares for days...

they got us in the first half by making us believe that the song is going to be creepy because of the first few teaser images only for the song to sound upbeat. i'm a little disappointed that taeyeon didn't do a darker concept - i'd like to see if she could pull it off. but either way, a red velvet-esque approach isn't bad either! ^^

taeyeon should wear more pink so that it'll match my tumblr color scheme lol -0-
