you glow so bright in the night, don't you? like the moon, you're so full of love and just sometimes when you look out over the world, you're reminded that it could be such a wonderful place if only people would hold each other tight and smile a little more. i promise, even if it feels like you're distant and giving too much of yourself, there's someone looking up at you in awe because they think you're wonderful too.

 the bright sunlight on a summer afternoon You're incredibly bright, first of all. In both ways - mentally and emotionally. Perhaps your true potential hasn't been unlocked yet, but believe me when I say it's there. Sometimes you're too much for people to handle, like the light and heat of the sun coming down at full force. But some people enjoy you - your warmth, your open curiousity and your excitement. You're impulsive, but you also backtrack and think about what you did and why you did it. People either like you a lot or hate you a lot, there's no in between. But their opinions shouldn't matter, because you're the sun and you're shining at your best

     he had been avoiding the narrow streets of Diagon Alley since his return, knowing fully well that the mere whisper of his family name would immediately alarm anyone ( though, he was fortunate that no image of him was posted on any of the articles -- which made sense since he was not against anyone ; they were young students trying to survive ). though, paranoia still pervaded his thoughts as hands hid in his pocket ; head lowered then lest one might recognise him. as he made his way to the nearest tea shop, he looked back ( a habit he had learnt from the WAR ), and thus he stumbled on to someone ; he clicked his tongue, composing himself as he glared at the other person whose features seemed familiar to him ( and it was -- he remembered seeing her at Hogwarts -- a housemate, whose name escaped him ). ‘ You, ‘ he said, eyes narrowed, but not because of hostility, but of familiarity. ‘ I know you. ‘ he said in a whispering voice.

Following the events of The God Complex, the Doctor landed in Brooklyn to drop off Howie with a freshly severed psychic link. Brooklyn and Brixton are similar, right?

With a space-time anomaly detected, SHIELD naturally came to investigate with Captain Carter among them.

After some recovery time, a lot of red tape, and with the Doctor's influence, Howie joined SHIELD as a tech developer. There, he met Chloe Smith, and they became good friends. Scientists first, Avenger and SHIELD employee second.

One of the projects Howie worked on was a power dampener - a collar intended to help those unable to control powerful abilities, and to help with the apprehension of the growing number of supervillains.

In 2014, Howie goes into hiding in the UK with Chloe's help when HYDRA's infiltration of SHIELD comes to light. However, he is tracked down by Tony Stark - his power dampener has been weaponized by HYDRA and used against none other than Chloe. He gives Tony the deactivation codes immediately, shaken by the knowledge of how his technology was used on one of his friends. It takes time for Howie to forgive himself for creating this technology.

With SHIELD all but destroyed, Howie is joins Stark Industries in 2015

In 2017, Howie is struck by lightning generated by Thor. He survives, narrowly. Tony's intervention means that some of the Asgardian electricity inside of Howie is able to be expelled safely, though not completely.

He develops electrokinesis following this incident, using these newfound abilities to assist and defend, rather than to fight.
