here's a couple families previews and new playable sims. actually, i realized that not everyone here knows Shakespeare's characters, so i attached links to wiki to make it easier for everyone to find the character. you can do that, right?

Capp family - Consort, August Petero, Tybalt, Juliette, Hermia, silly Sampson

Juliette Capp has fallen for Romeo, golden child of the rival Monty clan. Can the Capps set aside their grudge and put Juliette's happiness first? Or will the young beauty be destined to make a choice between family welfare and personal happiness? Which one will put a stop to Tybalt’s bouts of anger? Is Consort the only member of this family to harbour resentment against an old friend?

Monty family - Patrizio , Isabella, Mercutio, Romeo, Viola, Abram, Balthasar

Patrizio Monty will never forget Consort’s and Contessa’s betrayal, and both he and Isabella inform their young of the Capp’s treachery. But now his grandson Romeo has fallen for the Capp heiress. Will the Elders live to see the two families united?

Count family - Escalus-Prince, Paris, Gregory

The Count family has always served as a hammer of justice in Veronaville. For years Escalus has kept the confrontation between Consort and Patrizio within the law and he is the chief reason why this town has not burned to the ground. But now, as the future of both clans rests on one side of a scale and the destiny of his grandson on the other, the patriarch needs to decide which side takes a priority. Who knows, perhaps a solution to this predicament lies at the bottom of a “grape juice” bottle?

Summerdream family - Oberon, Titania, Puck (Robin),  Nick and Bottom, Blossom, Othello, Moth

In contrast to the Counts who see the need to establish peace between the feuding heads of the two clans, the wayward and freedom-loving Summerdreams prefer to attend to the young sprouts and blossoming buds instead of wilted flowers. Titania and Oberon are active members of society and in association with the late mayor Ladya they are working on a project – an orphanage where the traditional fairy lifestyle is in harmony with the modern ways. And young Robin, now Puck, has got much to learn about making bold decisions and helping the town’s teenagers. However, it appears that someone, or SOMETHING from the outside is trying to rain on their parade. Or is it just Nick making a fuss about nothing yet again?

My Mass Effect Holiday Cheer package from @theoriginalladya​ arrived today, and I am in actual tears. 

I’ve known LadyA for close to ten years now. She’s an incredible friend, a phenomenal writer, and a brilliant crafter, and has always been one of my biggest cheerleaders. When I got an ask a few weeks ago wanting to know how the Yang Gang spent their Christmas holiday, I had no idea it was her. 

She took every detail of my response and created something incredible. 

From her letter to me: 

I wanted to create something for you that focused on your love of Found Family for Sam and Kaidan, something you have gone to great lengths to show us in Cantata with the ‘Yang Gang. I wanted to include themes that would represent all of them - Sam, Kaidan, Pendergrass, Aslany, Beaudoin, and Captain Oseguera - and the bond that they build together on the Myeongnyang. 

And so, I got the crazy brilliant idea to make you a ‘Yang Gang themed wreath! There is a little bit of something for all of them on here, and a couple of extras:

A string of Christmas lights (because how do I crochet laser lights???) and a cross stitch of an N7 logo by Kara Pendergrass

Six Christmas stockings that Kaidan tracked down (including one in Alliance colors) so that everyone would have one

Legendary Old Film Canibal Slasher

This sadistic film that is filled with cutting, stabbing, slashing or stabbing the victim is an outline of the Slasher movie genre. This genre gave birth to many legends such as Jason Verhooes, Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, and Scary Face (Scream). Sometimes films of this genre make viewers nauseous because of the flood of blood and human body fragments that seem real.

Then what if the Slasher genre is combined with the theme of cannibalism? Even scarier, of course. Watching a Hollywood type slasher-cannibalism combined genre is quite scary. But in truth, this film genre feels more exciting if the maker is an Asian filmmaker. Why is that? The cultural background becomes an alibi. For viewers in Indonesia, slasher cannibalism genre films are more realistic and more sinister. Moreover, it feels so real, there are some films that are PROHIBITED to air in their own country.

1. THE UNTOLD STORY (1993) - Hong Kong

The Untold Story is a pioneering slasher cannibalism film that is always remembered. This one film, which is the famous Hong Kong horror-crime-thriller genre in 1993, was directed by Herman Yau and played by Danny Lee Sau-Yin and Anthony Wong Chau-Sang. This film is a visualization based on a real crime that takes place in 1985 in Macau.

Some pieces of rotting human bodies were found on the edge of the sea. The police then investigated the matter and took them to a restaurant "Eight Immortals" where the restaurant owner named Wong Chi Hang was suspected of being the mastermind behind this whole problem. After a deeper investigation was tried, the police created proof of the human body that was none other than the real owner of the restaurant. He was reported to have disappeared without a trace along with his entire family ...

The Untold Story is definitely a film aimed at an intrepid audience. Overloaded with sadistic and disgusting scenes, with blood splattering everywhere, pieces of body falling apart. A restaurant that seems to be a place for human slaughter. The scene after scene was shown quite frontally making my stomach feel sick. Anthony Wong looks amazing like a butcher, his expression is so enjoying every action he undertakes.

2. RUMAH DARA (2010) - Indonesia This film, thanks to the work of Mo Brother, tells the story of a serial killer family who serves human flesh for their restaurant. It begins with a video of a woman directing her 3 children to kill a man who was given a head covering. The woman named Dara (Shareefa Danish) has 3 children who are with psychopaths and a hobby of killing humans.

Their potential victims in this film are a group of younger siblings from Adjie (Ario Bayu) and Ladya (Julie Estelle). Adjie together with his 3 friends and his wife, Astrid (Sigi Wimala), who have their first child, make a visit to his sister Ladya's workplace in a place in Bandung. The intention of Adjie's visit was none other than to make peace with Ladya, who thought that her older brother was responsible for the tragedy that left their parents dead.

Their car must be stopped because of the appearance of a mysterious charming woman who claims to have just been robbed. Not having the heart to look at the condition of the woman who claimed to be named Maya, they also decided to help and escort the woman to her house.

Arriving at Maya's house, the group was introduced by the owner of the house, a charming and mysterious woman named Dara who afterwards greeted them kindly for rest and dinner at the house. Adjie, who actually did not want to stay long in that place, also felt reluctant and decided to accept a banquet from Dara, a decision that he would regret very much later, a decision that led them to a bad dream that they had not had time to dream of, because Dara and the rest of the family were not ordinary people who wanted to let them come out alive.

3. MEAT GRINDER (2013) - Thailand A horror film from Thailand's Elephant Country accompanied by spices of cannibalism tried by Buss (Mai Charoenpura), a poor woman who makes the best noodles with a very delicious meat broth. The dishes attract tourists, especially outside the city. But no one recognizes what he does, to make the spices.

Buss, a poor woman with a traumatic background. This subject made him a closed and stressful individual. To survive, he sells chicken noodles around. However, this effort is not enough color to sustain his life. His trade was quiet and he was always in debt to loan sharks.

Until one day, there was a mass demonstration which led to riots. Police chase down the demonstrators. Buss also quickly returned to save himself. And some of the times after that he was shocked, when he created a corpse lying in his noodle cart. It is the body of one of the victims of the demonstration.

And crazy inspiration also began to come to mind, is to make noodles with ingredients from the corpse meat. The action of Buss continues to increase as the restaurant continues to be crowded with tourists. He began to hunt down humans who hurt himself to make ingredients for his best menu.

The main character Buss (Mai Charoenpura) looks very perfect, his confusion is successfully combined sweetly with his madness, he looks very charming and innocent when the scenes cut into the bodies of his victims, especially the scene when he slaughtered a loan shark who terrorized him beautifully presented.

4. DUMPLINGS (2004) - Hong Kong Dumplings, the title may sound delicious, but believe me there is no delicacy in this horror film by Fruit Chan even though he often shows lots of warm dumplings that look delicious to eat. For horror fans, this kind of incident can be quite familiar, there is her colleague, Anthony Wong, who also had time to make a bakpao / mantau menu with a 'special' formula in the scary Untold Story, or more recently, a woman selling noodles in Thai horror. , Meat Grinder. But it's actually a 90-minute type of one of the horror shorts in the horror omnibus Three… Extremes.

OC Face Claims

I was tagged by @sephiratales​ for the OC’s faceclaims. This is going to be interesting. Not all of them have face claims. So I’ll try.

Thank you for tagging me. This was a fun distraction.

And before I get into this really long post, I’d love to tag @ofmanynames, @thetwobosses, and @ladyamesindy (though I know LadyA might not see this).

Furia: I created Furia first then moved backwards to find a face claim for her. I’m not sure who this is but this one really captures Furia’s style and so much more in one image.

Though the face that I do know that also reminds me of Furia is Natali Danish. There’s a sweet playfulness as well as a very sultry nature to Natali that matches Furia to a tee. She’s got great expressive eyes, and a smile that makes you wonder what she’s thinking. And in some cases her style even aligns with the boss.

Nyx Shepard: I tend to make my characters first, then sometimes happen upon a faceclaim. After a bit of a search the closest I feel I can find (and I’m not 100% married to it) is Cadice Swanepoel. Nyx is “too pretty to be a soldier,” or so she’s been told. It never phased her or kept her working her butt off for what she wanted. She’s used to not being taken seriously.

Cyna Mahariel: During this exercise I managed to find someone I think captures Cyna Mahariel to a tee--Roselyn Sánchez. A great combination of beauty and ferociousness. Though clearly, she lacks Cyna’s scars. But she’s got that same air of mysteriousness as well, and this shot just screamed Cyna to me when I saw it.

Min: My Drgaonborn rogue, Brynjolf’s old flame, and enchantress born of an elven woman and a warrior father came to be after some struggles to determine her look. She was born with silver hair, shocking her parents and the locals. I developed her after seeing this image, and sadly, even after searching multiple times I still don’t know who she is (though it is attributed to @starrynight-sky26, but the link to the specific post is “no longer found”).

Remy McGinnis: Similarly Remy came first, then her FC. Even so, she’s tough to classify for me, but awhile back I settled on Scarlett Johannson. I know there are a few bosses that also use that claim, so I tend just to keep to Remy’s screen caps -- usually. Remy’s got a sweet face, that counters her build.

Feign Shepard: Falling into sync with the others ... Feign is Feign, but I think if I were to pick someone for a face claim for her it would be Deepika Paukone. They both have great mouths and eyes, though Deepika’s are darker than Feign’s. Their bone structure is quite similar.

Rhys Trevelyan: The idea for Rhys was actually based on a piece of concept art by Stephan Alekseev. It’s really a great piece.

And I really think Nick Bateman captures the essence of him--that mix of serious and playful that makes Rhys even more irresistible than he thinks he is. Rhys was always a looker, at least until an incident left him with a horrendous scar and only one good eye. It doesn’t preclude him from the use of his bow, though it forced him to become at least as adept with blades. He covers the scar typically, at least as much of it as he can, for the comfort of others. 

Tala Darzi: This is one character whose faceclaim, or more accurately hair style claim I had before I rolled her. I happened to get luck that Cher Lloyd also happened to have a similar look as I imagined Tala to have. 

Boss Cinq: This is where I break type. I based Cinq off of Shemar Moore from the start. Cinq is beautiful and knows it. He puts a lot of work into maintaining his physique and is comfortable sharing it with anyone who wants to see it. 

Devine: My cathar smuggler doesn’t really have a face claim beyond herself as created in the CC of SWTOR. So here she is in all her loveliness. She’s a consummate flirt, though her heart is loyal.

Boss Ravi: Falls back into my normal type ... I’ve had her in my head, but managed to find a spot on face claim for her in Priyanka Chopra. They even have a similar build. Ravi’s a stunner, with the looks of her mother. She’s got a smile and an air about her that could stop a rhino (namely Johnny) in his tracked.

Marcelaine: She’s a character for 7th Sea, and I imagined her as this sweet faced, dedicated warrior. She’s a powerful and gifted fighter--trained her whole life to be a knight. And managed to avoid most temptations, though she still rather lost her heart to the knight of her order that mentored her. Despite this, as any good knight would she’s never acted on her. Emma Watson, I think captures her best, especially in this shot.

Laerke: One of the Dragonborns that I write (though I haven’t posted any of Laerke’s fic yet). Mainly because I’m still squaring away her backstory. The moment I saw Katheryn Winnick as Lagertha in Vikings I knew I’d found Laerke. There’s a softness and a fire to Winnick, especially in this role that really reminds of Laerke, who is a young woman trying to carve out her own niche in life when she gets this otherworldly call toward a destiny she is not certain is her own.

Boss Wei Sheng Liu: Maybe it’s a male boss thing. I chose Nicholas Tse as Wei Sheng’s face claim after an exhaustive search, and long before I ever rolled him. Of course, I also wrote Liu before I played him. I chose Tse because I wanted someone with a young face, but eyes that could hold a harshness to them, and he’s got a very serious look.

Aderyn Hawke: This lovely mage has also proven a hard one to peg. The lone red head in the group. I didn’t realize she was the only one. I used to write a lot of redheads, and only just realized that she’s the only one that stuck. Though again I find myself with an attribution issue. I have no idea who her faceclaim is. She just struck me--there’s a softness to her, but also a strength that seemed to capture Aderyn’s spirit.

Evia Dolciati: Yet another hinted at, but fiction never seen character. Evia is an assassin I wrote when I was completely and irrevocably obsessed with Assassin’s Creed, which could happen again at any moment given the correct impetus. She’s a trained courtesan in Venice who I’ve been writing for ... years and years. But a few years ago I happened across the film Dangerous Beauty and there were quite a few similarities between Veronica and Evia, namely their sharp tongue and clever wit. So it should be no surprise that I would chose Catherine McCormack in the role of Veronica Franco as Evia’s face claim.

Ok you KNOW I wanna know how Caleb sleeps ROFL. Hell, throw in Kaidan, too, for good measure.

hehehe  I knew you would ask for them!  I think for now I’ll focus during the games (I’m still trying to sort them out post-War).

Do they go to bed early or stay up late?

Depending on how you view time in space, Caleb is a late night owl, especially during the war.  The whole ‘one last check’ over assets, people, etc., is a thing with him.  Kaidan does the best he can, especially once they are involved with the other, to get him to sleep whenever he can, even if it does end up ‘during the day’ instead of at night.  His theory is, it’s difficult to make the tough choices if your heads all muzzy from lack of sleep.

When they say they’re “going to bed” do they actually mean they’re going to sleep or do they mean they’re going to read/play on their phone/etc in bed for a while?

For Caleb, that depends on a couple of things.  1) Were there any ground missions that day, and if so how did they turn out (you can bet after Thessia going to sleep was a real challenge!), 2) If no ground missions or it was a pretty good day, he might pull out a book to read, or possibly snuggle up to Kaidan if he’s reading (even if it’s Spectre reports).  Kaidan, of course, figures this out and isn’t above manipulating the situation when necessary if it means Caleb will get more sleep.

What do they wear when they sleep? (if anything at all)

Oh, Caleb is a boxer/briefs kind of guy.  Wears an N7 tshirt as well.  Just enough to take the ‘chill’ off when sleeping in the cabin aboard the Normandy.  (EDI tends to leave things just a little too cool, in his opinion)  Plus, having Kaidan next to him is like having five electric blankets over him!  Kaidan does the same.

Do they watch/listen to anything to help them fall asleep?

Caleb’s always been fond of listening to music to fall asleep, especially some of the older, more traditional songs from Ireland, but others as well.  Kaidan prefers something slower, softer to help him sleep, especially if he’s been dealing with one of his migraines.  

Do they sleep with a night light on or prefer total darkness?

Caleb:  Is there a way to turn off the fish tank?

What position do they sleep in?

Generally speaking, it depends on their mood when they head to bed.  Caleb, if he’s alone, usually lies face down, sprawled diagonally across the bed.  (habit from his youth when he grew far too fast for his bed as a teen and it was the only way he’d fit without his feet hanging over the edge).  When they’re together?  Still depends on mood.  If he’s in a pretty good one, Caleb likes wrapping himself around Kaidan, holding him close - generally lying on their sides, but he’s not opposed to lying on his back with Kaidan lying across him.  Other times, especially if he’s had a ‘bad day,’ he finds it more reassuring  (and maybe easier to sleep?) if Kaidan is wrapped around him.  Once they are involved, Kaidan doesn’t really care just so long as they are together.

Do they cuddle/snuggle with anything while they sleep?

Pillows, each other.  If Caleb is sleeping while Kaidan is on duty, he might sometimes lie on Kaidan’s ‘side’ of the bed or hug his pillow close until he’s off duty.

Do they have insomnia or do they fall asleep easily?

There are times when Caleb has difficulty sleeping.  The first few weeks after being revived on Lazarus Station, during his incarceration, after Mars up until he gets the first message from Kaidan that he’s going to be alright, after Thessia, etc.  

How many hours of sleep do they get?

That depends on any given day and who has which shifts.  Some days it’s a run of four to six hours straight; other days it’s whenever and wherever they can grab naps just to get through.

Are they a heavy sleeper or a light sleeper?

Caleb is very much a light sleeper.  The slightest sound, a change in temperature, a hand on his shoulder etc. can bring him to a fully wakeful state in a heartbeat.  He wishes he could sleep more deeply, but it’s never happened.  If there’s a downside to sleeping with Kaidan, especially early on in their relationship, this is it.  Still, he doesn’t necessarily mind it and has been known to just lie quietly and hold him, even if he can’t get back to sleep.

Serafina MacKinnon in the World of Darkness is a recently embraced Salubri.  Up to this point, she was a professor of history at the University of Lunas and knows very little of actual fighting, though she is a fifth-degree black belt in karate. (Self defense needs are there, vampire or not!)  Now that she has been embraced, she is learning how to use her new skills/disciplines.

Werewolf: The Apocalypse OCs

Brigit O’Halloran 

Brigit is an RPG character who (I hope) will have some fanfiction one of these days!  She is a werewolf in the Werewolf: The Apocalypse universe

During her ‘normal’ times, she is a professor of history and mythology/folklore at the University of Lunas (fictional city where they live)

She is originally from Ireland (don’t ask me where exactly: our Storyteller hasn’t revelead that to me just yet! lol)

For the first fourteen years of her life she lived at a Catholic orphanage.  She and Sister Janet (named after one of the sisters from my high school when I was there) did NOT get along well at all

At age fourteen her blood uncle found out about her and took her home

She didn’t have her First Change until she was nineteen

She started out as a Fianna Galliard, but due to events in game, she is now a White Howler Ahroun

She has a grand klaive named Oathkeeper which has the spirit of a Short Snout Bear (affectionately nicknamed Snoots) in it

Between her and her mate, she now has ... ten children of varying ages (?I think I counted that right?)

Keiko Matsui

Keiko is another of my characters from Werewolf: the Apocalypse

She is Japanese-American from the west coast where she grew up learning karate from her father who operates a karate dojo.  She is a 5th degree black belt.

Keiko is a Glass Walker Theurge

she has her own line of clothing/clothing company which she created at the age of sixteen.  It’s called Pocketto and while it originally was intended to focus on women’s clothing with deceptively LARGE POCKETS (thus the name), it has since branched out 

When she had her First Change (at the dinner table with the family that had her younger brothers teasing her as they were ushered out of the room), she was sent to her grandfather’s caern in Denver.

She eventually ends up in Lunas after her grandfather’s caern is overrun by the Wyrm

Keiko has two weaver spirits she works with constantly who are very steampunk in appearance 

Her weapons of choice are a Glock and a .38 Special

Shannon TallBear

Shannon was born into the Northern Cheyenne tribe in Montana and is an Uktena Theurge

Her best friend is another Uktena (Ragabash) who she grew up with; his name is Buck Squatburr

She and Buck, whenever they’re together, can often be found watching Coyote and Roadrunner cartoons - they have ever since they were little

(Shannon’s character is a combination of two former students of mine from when I taught on the Crow Reservation in Montana)

Shannon’s mother was a Tribal Police Officer who died in the line of duty when Shannon was 11-12

After having her First Change, Shannon was taken to the local Uktena caern, but no one there ever taught her much of anything.  Buck helped out by sneaking around and finding stuff out to tell her.  Eventually, she and he both joined the caern in Lunas.

He is a divorced father of two (Emma and Michael) and lives on the family ranch (of which he is head) just outside of Liberty Hills

Hunter is a local LH resident and attended school with both the woman who is his deputy (Jessica Finney) and one of the University Police lieutenants (David Bonner)

The family has a small cabin up in the mountains near the ranch which can only be reached by horseback and is often used by Hunter when he wants to get away from life for a while

Oh, Nonny, you asked about my favorite boys! :) Thank you so much!!! (Okay, they're ALL my favorites, but Caleb was my first mShepard, so he has a very special place in my heart! :D)

👀— What’s their favorite body part on themselves? On their partner?

Oh goodness, let's see.

Caleb's favorite body part on himself? His hands and/or his eyes. As a trained sniper, he needs them in good working order as they are essential to doing his job. Plus, there's, you know, being able to look at Kaidan... ;) As for favorite body part on Kaidan? His lips. Caleb, it seems, has a thing for kissing, you see....

💗— Do they noticeably change once they’re in love? Is it easy to notice or just something their partner would pick up on?

Caleb is subtle about almost EVERYthing he does. (except when he's not, or the other person doesn't know).

I will tell you this much and you can decide for yourself. So, he and Kaidan meet for the first time when Caleb is extracted from Akuze. They become friends and meet up a few times before Caleb heads off on his first N7 mission post-training. Unbeknownst to either of them, they end up in the same old noir-like lounge where Caleb is working under cover and Kaidan is on shore leave. When they have a few moments to talk, a situation arises where Caleb feels his cover is threatened, so he kisses Kaidan to 'hide' in plain sight. Once the threat passes, Kaidan asks what that was about, and Caleb replies, "It's just business."

A few years later, during ME1 events, Caleb and Kaidan are on another under cover op where a similar situation happens. This time, though, Caleb has his 'Oh!' moment - it wasn't just business before. But before he can even think how to say anything to Kaidan about it, Kaidan tells him, "It's okay, I know it was just business," and leaves it at that.

They do not actually get together until ME3. So, there ya go. :)

❣️— When do they first say I love you?

Caleb: As he is dying over Alchera, Kaidan is connected to Caleb through their comms. He overhears Caleb rasp out, Mo ghrá (my love) and “Kaidan, is tú mo rogha…” (Kaidan, you are my chosen)

Lachlan: Oh, goodness, I haven't gotten that far yet, but it's probably sometime after Mindoir back at the orchard on Earth before Lachlan heads off to the Alliance. They have their first kiss back on Mindoir before Lachlan heads off to join the colony symphony, but Kaidan tells him they have to wait (Lachlan is barely 17 at the time and Kaidan is 19), so, yeah, probably right before Lachlan enlists.

Kristofer: I don't have the exact moment down for them yet, but it's back during ME1 era. They are together by the end of the hunt for Saren, and Kristofer being the person that he is, knows pretty much right away (he wouldn't get involved if he wasn't fully invested in the relationship).

💖— Are they a showy partner? Do they make grand gestures of love or try to be subtle?

Caleb: Caleb is all about subtlety, it's just his nature.

Lachlan: Lachlan is the complete opposite - he is truly enthusiastic about everything that he does, and that includes loving Kaidan. (Except on Horizon, but that is a very special case) He would definitely make grand gestures, just as Kaidan will for him at times.

Kristofer: Kristofer is not showy at all. He's more like Caleb is. Flashy, showy gestures aren't his style most of the time (not to say that he wouldn't, just that it would have to be in private because he does not like having an audience).

💢— What are some habits of theirs that would take some getting used to?

Caleb: I... honestly have no idea. He's pretty much a loner for a long time, but he knows how to adapt and blend into any situation he finds himself, and as such probably senses if the people he's around are too curious or nervous or whatever about any habits he has? I need to think about this some more!

Lachlan: Oh goodness, Lachlan is an oversized ball of unstoppable ENERGY! lol Always moving, drumming his fingers on things, humming beneath his breath, practicing his cello or violin fingering (think air guitar but with a cello or violin), etc. He cannot stay still... unless Kaidan is around. His presence is about the only thing that will get him to settle down (so far as I know).

Kristofer: Kris is a very nerdy engineer. He reads the books, he works on the tech, he gets his nose buried so deep into what he's doing he loses track of time and doesn't notice people moving around him, etc. There are plenty of times Kaidan has to shout his name, even if it's just the two of them in his cabin, to get his attention, and even then it sometimes requires Kaidan touching him.

💔— What could their partner do that would absolutely break their heart?

Caleb: There are a few times in their post-war life together where Kaidan and Caleb actually have full blown arguments. Most of the time, they reconcile and things get back on track quickly, but there is one time when things get really really bad and Caleb isn't sure their relationship will survive it. That breaks his heart.

Lachlan: I'm not sure there is anything that Kaidan could do that would break Lachlan's heart other than him leaving him or dying. They have such a long history in their relationship, and they go through so much together (and apart) that they pretty much see most of the worst there is and basically just learn how to adapt to it and each other.

Kristofer: I have yet to delve this deeply into their relationship. Get back to me on this at a later date, please! (sorry!)

⛈— How often do they get emotional? Are they open with their partner about it?

Caleb: Caleb describes himself as an 'emotional bastard'. He's Irish - everything has a level of emotion involved with it. The best way to know just how badly it's affecting him is if he's speaking in Irish. If he is, chances are he's being emotional. And yes, as time goes on, he speaks more and more Irish in front of Kaidan. Endearments, curses, etc. All of it. (What really gets him is when Kaidan starts responding back in Irish ;) )

Lachlan: Oh, goodness yes he can be! He can control it, though. Think along the lines of Kaidan controlling his biotics. It's probably mostly noticeable when music, or Kaidan or his brother Iain or anyone he's particularly close to is involved. Kaidan can usually tell; he reads Lachlan very well.

Kristofer: Kristofer is used to being the 'fifth wheel' of the family, so he's also used to hiding his emotions from people. Kaidan is the first person to break through that wall. The frequency of it depends on the stage of their relationship, really. The longer they've known one another or been together, the more often it appears because Kris is comfortable enough around Kaidan to be that open about it.
