Four Quarters Brewing Company, Phaze. American Indian Pale Ale. #SupportLocalBreweries #DrinkLocal  This is my fifth beer from @4quartersbrew , a Vermont based brewery. I have always had a good experience with four quarters but could not develop a liking for this one. It could be an old can, or I have not developed the taste profile for this, I don’t know. A Dark golden/murky color. This one smelled seriously hoppy with notes of Herbal grapefruit and pineapple, zesty citrus blend, strong tropical passion fruit and grainy earthy tones. A very light body,this is the only aspect that might fall into the APA category. A slightly thin mouthfeel and slightly watery complexity at first. A sharp, peppery and earthy bite. I would personally prefer a rather smooth, and full NEIPA texture, certainly not as smooth or lush as those. Also, it had a certain sour taste due to dry earthy hops which have a slight bitter kick with zesty and peppery tones that seem to go on and on. I like how it keeps up the complexity due to this aspect. It's really peculiar and somewhat weird, but its charms definitely. Four Quarters Brewing Company, Key Lime Pie Shakedown. Milkshake Indian Pale Ale. #SupportLocalBreweries #DrinkLocal This is my sixth beer from @4quartersbrew , a Vermont based brewery and this time its a collaboration with @goodmeasurebeer. This beer literally blew my mind away. It was an exceptional, incredible and highly praiseworthy beer. I'm definitely a big fan of creamy beers and this was a Milkshake IPA with Motueka & Wakatu hops, lactose, vanilla, key limes and graham cracker. I have had One of the best milkshake IPAs from 4quarters and I this one with all the Trillium beers I love was right up there. Once again, taste comes with NEIPA, lots of citrus front, orange and tangerine, some grapefruit and big lime zest, key lime juice, doughy malt and lots of cracker flavours, light tropical notes, milder chalky mineral and pithy notes, warm alcohol and some vanilla, creamy lactose, small doughy, mild flammy, light alcohol, more vanilla and creamy note. Also, an extremely rare find. Amazing CanArt, Great beer , highly drinkable, Very fluffy / soft mouthfeel . Thanks to @fenwaybeershop for this amazing beer. This beer literally blew my mind away. It was an exceptional, incredible and highly praiseworthy beer. I'm definitely a big fan of creamy beers and this was a Maple Syrup Milkshake IPA. One of the best beers I've ever had and this one with all the Trillium beers I love was right up there. This beer had a bursting aroma, a creamy mouth-feel and a rich taste of citrus fruits, tropical and vanilla stone, and it was indeed the juiciest, smoothest IPA I've ever had. A perfect beer for me. This was a Milkshake Indian pale ale with with Lactose, Hallertau Blanc Hops, Vanilla and Maple Syrup. Also, an extremely rare find.
