BEST OF 2022: I admit I'm not too much of a selfie person. There aren't too many pictures of myself I had taken. Even at my sister's wedding! I took photos of everyone except me! Nevertheless I do have a selection of my highlights of 2022: Photos 1-3) The war in Ukraine has been ugly and unnecessary. My Ukrainian ancestors came to Canada over a century ago, but Ukraine still means a lot to me. The photos are from three of the rallies I attended. Photos 4-6) My trip to Palm Springs. 2022 was the year I resumed my summer trip to Palm Springs. This year's trip not only included a stay at a resort but a visit to the downtown. Photos of me include a poolside drink, a Palm Springs sign and the big Marilyn Monroe statue! Photo 7) World Cup fun was another highlight. The photo is when I went to the Tsawwassen Mills mall to see an Argentina game. Not only did they have a replica World Cup but its weight was equal to the real thing! Photo 8) From the Ukrainian Christmas Market at Holy Eucharist church in New Westminster. Photo 9) New Year's Eve at La Boqueria restaurant. First New Year's I didn't have to confine myself to my suite! Met with some good friends. It was a great time with a lot of good Spanish cuisine. And good red wine too! That's enough of 2022!
