Esto va en español, aunque el fandom de acá de Tumblr se me hace que es chiquito, pero no ando en otros lados 😅 y es que las traducciones al español de los capítulos últimamente han sido malos, pero en este capítulo se pasó por mucho. No se si hayan cambiado de traductor o al traductor ya le vale madre su trabajo, pero es que si vamos desde el principio, aunque no sea muy relevante, no se toma el trabajo de traducir los nombres de los personajes para mantener el chiste

Pero ya pasando a lo relevante, últimamente vi errores como lo del abuelo que no era el abuelo en el caso del mayordomo de principito, y en este capítulo tenemos a Yor diciendo que hace ballet en vez voley

No sólo lo tradujo mal, sino que no creo que se fije que traduce porque no coincide con la lógica de la historia.

El sentido que transmite es menos intenso así traducido. El está hablando del peso que le genera mentir sobre su trabajo, y acá, al menos para mi suena medio raro.

Yo hablo todo esto desde mi perspectiva como traductora y profesora de japonés, y como alguien que ha traducido manga gran parte de mi vida, y la verdad es que para mi... últimamente es mejor recurrir a la traducción en ingles, que si ha mejorado bastante en comparación a los chutazos que venía metiendo.

Ojala le vuelvan a meter onda a la cosa, porque las malas traducciones generan malas interpretaciones, y las malas interpretaciones generan disgusto hacia la obra, y realmente no me gustaría que haya gente que deje de leer SpyxFamily nomas porque el traductor hizo cualquier cosa. Nomas con ver como anda el fandom latino insultando el manga ese de los superheroes (no lo voy a nombrar nomas para no invocarlo 🤣) porque el protagonista no se volvió el mejor, cuando en japonés no dice literalmente eso, es algo que me fastidia, incluso a pesar de que yo ni leí o vi ese anime.

No se como hagan las contrataciones, pero espero que no sea pura gente que a penas y aprobó el N5 😅 Traducir es un trabajo bellísimo, y pesado, pero hay que estudiar bien para cada cosa que traduzcamos, sino cualquier computadora podría hacer nuestro trabajo sin problema, total que falla por falla... Por eso hay que cuidarlo metiéndole dedicación.

Taylor’s Midnights outfit she wore LA N5 to me, has always resembled that of a skeleton:

I have, for awhile, speculated that the biggest reference to Cabaret's song "Money" is her quote in the Times Person of the Year article:

"What fuels a patriarchal society? Money, flow of revenue, the economy. So actually, if we’re going to look at this in the most cynical way possible, feminine ideas becoming lucrative means that more female art will get made. It’s extremely heartening.”

And while sadly this is true, we should be focusing our efforts on dismantling this system rather than reinforcing it by participating in it. In much the same way, Sally Bowles and the MC are correct when singing repeatedly about how "Money makes the world go 'round, the world go 'round". However, the song becomes a painfully aware critique of that system by illustrating the rising poverty levels in pre-war Berlin at the time with the lyrics, “Who’s knocking on the door? Hunger!”.

"Mi Vida, do you want to order takeout tonight?" She sounded like she was in a good mood, maybe it wouldn't be so bad. But the moment you spun around, the smile on her face soured. She ran up to you, wrapping her hand around your wrist gently to pull the makeshift ice pack from your face. "How did you get that bruise?"

"It's not what it looked like." She gave you a pointed look, you were going to have to explain everything in detail if you didn't want her to start shooting people. "It was Jose, he woke with a start when I went to get him his meds, and I didn't move out of the way fast enough. I'm fine and he was very sorry."

Her jaw clenched, the reason she asked you to move from your job at the Las Almas ER was so that you wouldn't be in harm's way anymore, she thought you being the compound's personal doctor would mean you'd be safe. "He wouldn't have been shot in the first place if he had just followed his orders."

You nodded. "I know, but he's young and he still has a lot to learn. For what it's worth, he felt pretty guilty and he's scared shitless about what you're going to do."

She huffed in humour. "Yes, well, he should be." She smiled softly at the look on your face and reached up, brushing her thumb over the colours growing on your face. "I'm not going to hurt him don't worry. He'll just be on supply runs until his hair goes grey."

You smiled and leaned in, rubbing his nose with yours before pressing a kiss to her lips before pulling back just far enough to speak. "Thank you, Mi Amor."

Her other hand found your cheek and she chuckled softly. "Mi Vida, always the bleeding heart. What am I going to do with you?"

"Buy me pizza and watch shitty romcoms with me?" Despite the way she acted in front of everyone else, she was as sweet as cotton candy with you, you knew she wouldn't be able to say no.

"Of course, anything for." You kissed her again and she wrapped one arm around you to pull you close.
