Here’s What’s Happening in Tucson This Weekend.
Fri 12/7 - Sun 12/9
Happy Friday Everyone and Happy Holiday Season!
Haven’t started your holiday shopping yet? Luckily, 250 Artisans are all coming to Tucson for The 4th Avenue Winter Street Fair to showcase their wares for you. You get the chance to shop all weekend for that special gift and you also get entertainment with live performances, food and beverage options too! And since you’re going downtown guess what? Tomorrow is also 2nd Saturdays Downtown. You’re running out of excuses not to begin unless of course, you’re just not in the mood yet. Well, The Nutcracker! Enough said!
Want to be amazed by a guitar player? Go see The Acoustic Ninja at The Fox Theatre tonight at 7:30pm. Want to be amazed by two guitar players? Go see Ryanhood (named for Ryan Green and Cameron Hood) tomorrow at the Fox. Unbelievable guitar players? Yes. Putting on the show for free? Amazing! If it’s music and story you want, be sure to catch The Music Man at The Arizona Theatre Company now through the end of December. This Broadway hit has won 5 Tony Awards and a Grammy Award during its long production run.
Until Mr. sunshine reappears, we can probably get a little boost with some holiday lighting. You have many choices starting with Desert Nights & Downtown Lights, Tohono Chul Holiday Lights, Tucson Botanical Garden’s Luminaria Lights, Reid Park Zoo Lights, and of course the granddaddy of them all, Winterhaven Festival of Lights. Top it off with a fresh snowfall at La Encantada with flakes starting to fall precisely at 6:00 and 6:30, and you are rewarded with instant holiday spirit.
May all your shopping experiences be pleasant this weekend. In between all that running around this weekend if you’re out and about on the east side stop by our Open House at 7643 E Desert Overlook this Sunday and say hi. As always, please let us know if we can be of any help to you or someone you know!
