Bernadetta

She's socially anxious and hates leaving her room. So hearing you standing outside and knocking on her dorm room only to give a cheesy knock knock joke always brings a smile to her face.

You're allowed to come into her room, you're one of few that's allowed. But sometimes you just stay on the other side of her door and talk to her, telling jokes and just making her smile and laugh. She really appreciates it.

While it's not the same as your jokes and presence, she still makes sure to get you a bouquet. To sew you an armored bear stuffy of your own. She wants to give you something as her thanks for always being kind to her.

Kazuha

Had paused the first time you two were cloud watching and you mentioned one cloud looking like something obscene. He wasn't expecting it in this peaceful moment, and it caused a surprised chuckle to leave him. That was fuel for your fire.

He tries to enjoy nature and to relax in the calm, but then you come up with some witty comment about something or point out an innuendo he hadn't noticed in his writing. It's just so out of left field that it manages to bring a laugh from his lips.

His humor isn't childish, but the fact that you just make comments out of nowhere is really what gets to him. He does appreciate the moments of laughter you bring to his life and he tries his best to make sure you always smile too.

Kuki

It's trickier to get Kuki to laugh. You notice amusement on her face and in her eyes, but actual laughter doesn't come often. She's even a bit surprised when you manage to make her actually laugh.

It's probably an out-of-place comment or some dry remark she wasn't expecting that makes her chuckle a bit. It's not a full, belly laugh but it still manages to bring a smile to her masked face.

Kuki picks up that you're trying to get her to laugh on purpose with whatever cheesy joke or comment you think of that might make her laugh. And she appreciates it quite a bit. Will pull her mask down to place a kiss too your cheek as thanks. You aren't always able to see it, but you do constantly bring a smile to her face.

Jirou

The kind that will snort if you get her laughing enough and she gets embarrassed and throws pillows at you exclaiming that she wasn't snorting and that you better not tell anyone.

Makes it a point to not laugh as much. She knows what you're doing with your dumb jokes and silly comments, and she doesn't want to feed into it, so she tries to hide a smile, which just causes more laughter when you point it out and she tries to hide.

You can bet that she's going to try and get you back for it. She knows you like making her laugh, but guess what, she likes seeing you smile and laugh too. So, she'll (reluctantly) find Denki to learn some really dumb jokes in hopes that she can get you laughing for her.

Bernadetta

Bernie gives a bright smile when she sees you come back, that smile goes to concern when she sees how tired you are. She's ready to be like a mother hen with getting you tea or a stuffed animal or something so you can lay down and nap.

She let's out a sound of surprise as you just move her to lay down with you resting on her. She's very flustered at the thought, but can't help but sigh in happiness and wrap her arms around you.

Honestly…. she could use a nap too. Bernadetta creates an excuse to do nothing so you can rest and smiles as she holds you close to cuddle.

Kazuha

He can't help but worry a little when he sees you show up drained. You get a small smile from him as he asks you how your day has been, wondering what all had you so busy.

He let's out a small chuckle when you ask to rest against him. He's a fan of cuddling and napping together so just give him a moment to find a good place to lay down so you can lay on top of him.

Kazuha will pat your head and rub your back, trying to help relax you as you snuggle in. Kazuha does talk to you a bit quietly, still wanting to talk a little. If you fall asleep then he'll kiss the top of your head and let himself slumber too.

Kuki

She's been running around a bit too, making sure the gang isn't getting into any trouble. And then she sees you coming up, looking drained and she can't help but wonder what you got you yourself into.

She is relieved when you mention you just want to rest and she's ready to find a good spot for you, but you hold her hand and ask for her to stay.

Kuki is half tempted to promise to come back since she doesn't want chaos to happen while she's gone… But she ends up sitting down so you can lay your head on her shoulder. She wraps an arm around you and let's you rest, keeping an eye out just in case.

Jiro

Jiro gives you a bit of a look as she's practicing an instrument when you come into her room. She has some concern on her face at seeing you looking so drained. "Are you okay?" She'd ask softly.

At hearing your reply, she moves her instrument out of the way so you can flop down on her bed to rest, if you want. Can't help but make a little noise when you put your head in her lap instead.

Jiro rolls her eyes a bit, but she smiles and massages your head as you lay down. Warns you that you get an hour to rest because she still has things to do. Might end up just cancelling those plans and cuddling with you instead.

He’s definitely amused by this new information before telling you that he’s flattered.

He never really put a label on his own sexuality as he likes the freedom of being able to like whoever he likes without a label putting boundaries on it.

Kazuha can’t help but ask you how you knew it was romantic affection rather than admiration as the two do get mixed up quite a bit. Whatever the answer, Kazuha is glad that you entrusted him to be yours.

She feels a bit betrayed. Here she was, happy to have someone that is just as awkward as she is. And then all of a sudden you’re spitting poetry about her singing voice?? Accuses you of tricking her as she tries to hide her flustered face.

Bernie doesn’t know how to feel at you being good with words all of a sudden. She doesn’t hate it, but she was more comfortable knowing you were just as awkward.

She keeps an eye out when you talk to other people. She’s hiding behind your back as you’re a shield so she doesn’t have to be social, but she’s making sure you’re not suddenly smooth with other people.

Nobara

The second a smooth pickup line leaves your mouth, she's narrowing her eyes at you. She accuses you of playing a trick on her or something. Will call you out on being so awkward normally, and then you said something that quick-witted to try and fluster her? She's onto your tricks.

Depending on your pick-up line, she might scoff and say, "That's sexual harassment. Give me 1,000,000 yen, or I'll call the cops." She won't, but if she can get some money from you to go shopping, she'll play that card.

If she does see you being smooth with others then she’ll give you such a suspicious look and tell the other person, “Don’t fall for it, they’re really a dork with no social skills.” Nobara can be a bit harsh

Shadowheart

Well she’s glad that you’re able to charm others, at least. Just know that it’ll take more than some pretty words for her to fall head over heels that easily.

She is amused at how you do bumble around a bit if you are pulled into a conversation, but the instant there’s an opening, you’re able to throw out the most charming line. Careful, you might make her jealous if you direct those words at others (not really, she believes in poly)

Shadowheart might sigh a bit and throw a guidance your way when it comes to talking to those that aren’t going to easily be charmed by you, but she sits back and watches in intrigue when something does click in your brain and you’re suddenly poetic with your speech.

Bernadetta spends hours meticulously planning a surprise birthday party for you. She wants everything to be perfect but is also incredibly nervous about whether or not you'll enjoy it.

She bakes a homemade cake for you, carefully decorating it with you favorite colors and symbols. She also puts in extra effort to ensure it's both visually appealing and delicious. Probably remakes it like five times because it has to be perfect.

During the party, Bernie surprises you with an armor bear stuffy of your own. She figures now you two match! And you have something to keep you comfort when she's not around.

Kazuha

He takes you on a serene journey through Inazuma's landscapes, exploring hidden spots and sharing stories along the way. He just wants to share how pretty everything is with you.

Kazuha surprises you with a beautifully crafted poem.He worked endlessly on it to make sure the words were right and that it really reflected how much he cares about you.

Kazuha gives you a nice, warm hug. He promises to always be there for you, no matter what challenges you may face.

Kuki

Kuki organizes a traditional tea ceremony to celebrate your birthday. She meticulously sets up a serene and elegant tea room, adorned with beautiful decorations and delicate floral arrangements. You can bet that she does not let a single member of the gang there in case they break something.

Probably eventually does take you somewhere to spend time with the Arataki gang - They'd pester her otherwise. Can't stop a small smile at how everyone greets and cheers you on for another year lived.

Kuki gifts you with a handcrafted item, such as a very pretty bookmark or even some art with very lovely calligraphy on it. It's a bit simple, but she hopes you treasure it.

Jiro

She books a local venue and curates a playlist of your favorite songs, ensuring a fun and energetic atmosphere throughout the night.

Jiro surprises you with a personalized concert, where she performs your favorite songs with her band-mates. She pours her heart and soul into the performance, even if the music isn't typically what she plays, she wants to make it fun for you.

As a gift, Jiro creates a mix-tape for you. The idea is a bit cheesy and old-school, but she finds it fun to pick out songs that mean something to your relationship with her. As well as songs that she recommends you to listen to.

Bernadetta

She likes affection, but she's not the best when it comes to initiating it. You might notice her sneaking glances at your hand or just trying to make you notice she'd like to cuddle. When you initiate then she's humming a happy tune as she swings your joined hands or sighing in relief as she melts in your arms.

Kazuha

It really depends on location and who's around for how affectionate he'll be. In private, he's more than happy to lean on you or have you lean on him. Lot more cuddly and liking to touch you by holding hands or multiple forehead kisses. It's toned down around loved ones, for their sake.

Kuki

Not too affectionate. You'll get compliments and her telling you, "Good job." but besides that there isn't a whole lot of affection from her. Now and then she might go to hold your hand or pat you on the head, but that's about it.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Bernadetta

She was very hesitant about cuddles in the beginning but she grows to love them. Just wants to be holding you and have you hold her, you both facing each other.

Kazuha

Is a fan of cuddling. It brings a nice peace that is much needed at times. He's rather catlike with liking to sleep in sunny areas and the same can be said when he cuddles with you too. Might prefer laying his head in your lap, letting you play with his hair. If he could purr, he would.

Kuki

She doesn't mind cuddling. She didn't get a lot of loving when she was a kid so cuddles are nice to receive. She still doesn't do it too often as she likes to be moving around instead of sitting still for too long. Would prefer to cuddle while sitting so she can keep an eye on any entrances/exits and can spring up should something happen.

Bernadetta

She's very timid, but she does keep her bow handy just in case something were to happen. She doesn't go and look for fights though. Honestly if you wanted to be her big, strong S/O to keep her safe then she would love that.

Kazuha

His senses are honed for danger so while he might seem like he's enjoying his time with you (and he is), he's also staying very aware of the surroundings and what's going on so he can keep you safe. He'd prefer you not put yourself in danger for him so he'd like if you could whisper to him or let him know if you've noticed something is off.

Kuki

She's very protective, but tries not to show it too often. Most of her protectiveness is keeping an eye on everything around you. She's fine with you doing things on your own, but if you're in her vicinity then she's keeping watch just in case. Honestly wouldn't mind you doing the same for her when it comes to protecting. Just keeping an eye out for each other is enough to make her happy.

There's a lot of surprise as they see the antisocial girl hanging out around you with a bright smile on her face and not seeming to care about anything. It's only when she notices she's being stared at that she'll hide behind you, holding you tight and looking to you for safety.

Kazuha

He stands a bit too close to you to be friends and he glances your way quite often too. So if people really paid attention, they can see that he cares for you. Only when you two are around friends will there be teasing and Kazuha being more relaxed and obviously happy that you're next to him.

Kuki

You two seem like good friends with only few people knowing that you both are really together. There's hushed whispering between you two and while Kuki is masked, it can be seen that she is smiling by her eyes lighting up at whatever you said.

She's a bit hesitant when you suggest the idea to her. While she trusts you explicitly, the idea of going outside and sitting on a beach is a bit scary. What if she gets lost in the ocean forever, S/O?

But she goes with you because she trusts you and it's actually really nice. The ambience and the moon reflected on the ocean waves is so pretty. And it's a lot nicer at night too because the lack of people.

Bernadetta would absolutely want to cuddle closer to you and enjoy the moment. Might ask if it's okay to take a bit of a walk or find some seashells to take back as a reminder of this perfect date.

Kuki

She's a tad worried about going on the date with you. Not because of you, but can she really trust the rest of the gang if she leaves them to their devices for a night? Eventually she goes with you after some scolding and threats to the others about not messing up.

While she is still a bit annoyed and worried at just thinking of what the gang is getting up to, she does her best to relax because it's unfair to you to act this way. She does end up really enjoying the date.

She can't help but be in awe at how pretty the night sky looks on the ocean. Even if being a romantic isn't really her thing, she can't help but want to just admire and talk to you about the stars.

Kazuha

Oh he thinks it's a wonderful idea. Sitting next to you on a blanket or towel and looking out at the ocean with the stars shining on you two? That's so up his alley.

Would love to tell you stories and such that he's heard about the moon, stars, and the ocean. Some are a bit bittersweet, but all of them are thought-provoking and romantic.

Kazuha would be happy to end up falling asleep next to you to the sounds of the beach. He won't intentionally sleep, but if you wanted to take a nap with him during this time then he'd be glad to.

Kyoka

Might jokingly call you a "hopeless romantic" or something when you initially suggest the date. I mean going to the beach at night? That sounds really cheesy but she agrees.

If you let her, she'd love to bring her guitar with on the date. The idea of the beach date alone sounds really nice, but it could be fun to practice a bit of guitar to the ambience of the ocean.

Considering all the BS her class gets into, relaxing by the ocean is very nice and relaxing and she enjoys it so much especially being by your side.

She knows this is a trap. She knows it. There's no way she's going outside to some "party" that you and Dorothea set up for her. It has to be a trap.

And you're trying to convince her and she keeps saying no or making excuses like her boot laces are frayed so she needs to make new ones. Her face is a bright red because she's so flustered with trying to stay an introvert and also because you're in her room with her.

“Can you stop moving so I can kiss you?” She finally hears you ask and it does cause her to freeze up so you can plant a kiss on her lips. She somehow turns more red due to being embarrassed before you pull away. She feels her heart pounding in her chest and wants to ask you about it, but then you mention the party again.

And now you're back to square one as she's saying that you kissing her was a distraction and you're still trying to get her to go outside into some kind of trap. You might need to give her more kisses so she knows this isn't a trick of any kind.

Bernadetta with a s/o that’s kinda like Obi-Wan. After seeing the prequels, his tv show, and some of his clone wars appearances, I’ve decided he’s in my top 3 kins, next to a guy named after a tool and a guy that’s actually two guys fused to become one guy (it’s weird, but he’s still his own personality).

Wholeheartedly agree. Also I feel, in part, responsible for this.

I mean I've always looked at Bernadetta and wondered why she wasn't in Golden Deer. She just has those vibes.

Same with Lysithea for Black Eagles (I also very much enjoy her supports with Edelgard and dislike that I can only really enjoy them if I do Black Eagle). Marianne also gives me Black Eagle vibes too. That house would've been awful for her, but she just feels like Black Eagle.
