starting DECEMBER, JUNKYU, MINJUN, and YOOJOON will be added to the V&A instagram for the monthly sns, can participate in the universe prompts ( listed every month on the monthly sns posts), and be eligible for OPEN EVENTS 006 ( FANSITES ) and 007 ( BIRTHDAY ). if you want to get a head start, you can send the main your e-mail account to be added to the V&A fansite blog. the rest of the information regarding those two events can be found in their respective posts.

“while everyone has been busy, the coaches have been analyzing everyone’s performances over the past couple of weeks. the general consensus that we’ve gathered from them is that everyone will be spending more time practicing on the performance aspect. there are some members who are doing well so far, but there are others who… to put it nicely, have been focusing on other areas instead. for this comeback, we want to showcase more of everyone’s skills and improvements as performers so more of your free time will be spent in the practice rooms. by the end of the year, the coaches will reevaluate and analyze your skills and improvements. if there are very little or no improvements from each of you in the assigned skills, expect some consequences.” KYUHWAN ended his speech as he looked towards his brother, who began announcing the new group roles.

these are the list of skills that the coaches would like the V&A members to work on. do note that if the skills mentioned were the same as the last time feedback was given, it most likely means that the muse is on the right track but will still need to work at it to balance with V&A’s current skill sets. if it is listed that there is no feedback next to the name, they will still be encouraged to work on the performance related skills due to the comeback preparations and promotions. if the muse was asked to work on a specific language, it’s expected for them to reach at least 50 POINTS within the next few months.

additionally, for JUNKYU, MINJUN, YOOJOON, and since they were suggested by the coaches in the LGC FALL BOYS post to work on specific skills for that project ( it may or may not be the same as the ones mentioned here ), the year end evaluation will be a bit more lenient on them as long as points were put in the skills mentioned/writing requirements were completed.

V&A will be residing in the same building, just in different floors. each unit has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 1 kitchen. because there are 3 bedrooms, we’re going to make all of you pick spoons from this container and whoever gets the same letter will be rooming together. the exception to this is the third bedroom, which can only occupy one person at the moment so if you so happen to be the one that was picked for that, congratulations to you.”

“the episodes for this season are still airing, but from what we’ve been told, the show has garnered quite a bit of attention with the general public and fans. since the fans wanted to see another episode of this show, we will be putting it on pause due to comeback preparations and return back to it when the group has more time to film the next season.” KYUWON states as he turns to look at his brother.

“to thank the fans for being supportive of the group and show, LGC will be hosting a fansign event where all of the ones who have participated in the second season ( everyone minus the new members ) will be dressing up as their musical god counterpart. there will be a short group interview where the host will be asking you questions about your experience filming seasons 1 and 2 of ‘V&A’s song stealer’ followed by the fansign event where fans can interact with you and sign some of the V&A merchandise we have. the event will be happening on OCTOBER 19, so you could consider your outfits as an early celebration for halloween too.” KYUHWAN teases the members before laughing.

because of year end ceremonies, the promotions for this comeback will last until JANUARY 12. they will have a break from music shows between DECEMBER 16-JANUARY 2, before they continue on for a couple more days in JANUARY. during the first week of music show promotions ( DECEMBER 3-8 ), they will be performing “JACKPOT” ( V&A ), “LOVERS OR ENEMIES” ( VERSUS ), and “BOOM BOOM BASS” ( AGITO ). the V&A members will be releasing music videos for “LOVERS OR ENEMIES” and “BOOM BOOM BASS” in JANUARY as a way to thank the fans. starting mid to late DECEMBER, V&A will then be preparing for future comebacks in Q1 and Q2 2025.

later in the term, there will be an update to this mission revealing the music chart results for this comeback, so please look forward to that!

MAMA AWARDS ( NEW MEMBERS DEBUT )

more information about the MAMA awards will be in the YEAR END EVENT post, but JUNKYU, MINJUN, and YOOJOON will be debuting during that event. JUNKYU and MINJUN will be debuting first on NOVEMBER 21 while YOOJOON will be debuting on NOVEMBER 23. congratulations to the three members for their debut!

during this time, JUNKYU and YOOJOON will be working on their special stage that will be a part of the MAMA awards performance. based on the responses from the previous TEAM UNKNOWN MISSION, JUNKYU will be performing his rendition of ‘REVEAL’ while YOOJOON will be performing his rendition of ‘TRAVELER’. each of their performances will be around a minute but since V&A is known more for their producing skills, JUNKYU and YOOJOON will be asked by their coaches to pitch in how they would like their performance to be. it’ll be similar to how it was in TEAM UNKNOWN MISSION 003 ( PART 2 ), where they can add their own creative twist to it using the skills that they have ( eg. changing the melody or genre, adding/excluding rap parts, etc ). the V&A managers will mention that if they need any help, they can ask the coaches for assistance.

V&A REACTS TO ( SEASON 3 )

for the third season of ‘V&A REACTS TO’, the cast will consist of HARU, MAXIMILIAN, JIHO, YUSHIN, and YEONWOO! they will be filming most of the episodes across the four months and will be watching the music videos a few days prior to the actual release. they will be filming their reactions to the following songs & music videos:

HARU & YEONWOO ( EPISODE 1 / AIRING - OCTOBER 21 ): reacting to “ootd” ( FABULA )

MAXIMILIAN, JIHO, YUSHIN ( EPISODE 2 / AIRING: NOVEMBER 15 ): reacting to “girls never die” ( NOVA )

ALL ( EPISODE 3 / AIRING: DECEMBER 9 ): reacting to “jackpot” ( V&A )

in terms of filming, they will be recording these videos whenever the pairing/group has some free time. during the reactions, they can give their thoughts regarding the song and music video ( eg. their interpretation of the music video/song’s message, arrangement, behind the scenes recording/filming [ for jackpot ], etc ). these videos will be condensed to around 15 minutes each.

1000 NOTORIETY REWARD ( JIHO )

starting OCTOBER it will be announced ic that JIHO has accepted a brand ambassadorship for VERSACE and his newly appointed title will be “versace prince”! there will be no requirements for this nor do you have to confirm the renewal, so it will be a permanent contract and will take up one of the modeling contract spots.

( note: since this is the first mission that announced the 1,000 notoriety reward, the points form for all of the 1,000 notoriety reward submits will be processed AFTER all of the career missions have been posted! )

STUDIO ROOMS UPDATE

near the end of DECEMBER, AKIO and SEOJIN will join many of the V&A members and have their own studio rooms to decorate to their own liking. for JUNKYU, YOOJOON, and MINJUN, they will be getting theirs sometime next year/2025.

BIRTHDAY LIVESTREAMS

during this term, there will be birthday livestreams for AKIO ( OCTOBER 21 ), JIHO ( OCTOBER 31 ), and SEOJIN ( DECEMBER 1 ). for AKIO and SEOJIN, they will be eligible to partake in the new OPEN EVENT 009 ( BIRTHDAY LIVESTREAM ), which will be posted later. as for JIHO, a variation of the open event has been completed last year so he cannot do the open event but can write about the birthday livestream if chosen to do so ( however it won’t count for points ).

Oooh more Go Gunhee and Woo Jinchul! It's fun to see how much more they're showing up, even more than in the manhwa! Jinchul looks really nice.

lakjdalj I know when Jinchul says, "Would it be all right if I asked for a bit of instruction? . . . It might be the kind of change of pace you need, too." (smile) he's saying, "let's spar" (it's a martial arts thing), but alkdjlaj I love this addition to the cute flirtiness of their relationship. It's very sweet. The novel gave us Gunhee asking Jinchul out for drinks, and now Jinchul is like, "let's spar :3". It's so cute.

Jinwoo v the dungeon boss is pretty cool. It's neat to see Jinwoo move so much, and the animation is gorgeous.

Jinwoo's jacket is giving me Seragaki Aoba DRAMAtical Murder vibes with its ridiculously wide collar lol (Doesn't help they're both that same bright blue).

Gunhee's fond gaze as he faces Jinchul :3 Also it's neat to see Gunhee fight. We're not getting to the Frost Monarch this season, so it's a nice little preview of hopefully future seasons.

Wonderful episode :3 Loved all the stuff they added! This series continues to feel like really fun fanfiction in all the best ways. The animation was beautiful! The music was great! Jinwoo is going through so many discoveries and revelations and realizing how confining and horrifying the system is in new ways, and Jinho is having all sorts of discoveries of his own. There is more of the same this year. Just like last or the year before that. Chuseok is something of a typical affair for him. Family, enough food to burst his stomach, hours of chasing his little sister and dogs around. There is something soothing about the mundanity of it all, however, particularly after how hectic his schedule had become after making his debut as a member of V&A. ( The fact will be surreal to him even a year later, he is sure. )

When he thinks about the changes, they are more than he expects. His mind travels to the face of his younger brother, Chanhyeok. Buried into the furthest depths of his memories is the image of that sour-faced thirteen year old boy with a bandage on his cheek. Now, he is a man, hair still short from his military code, posture no longer a lazy slouch. He says things like 'please' and 'thank you', politely asks for a certain dish. Dasom has grown two more inches and proudly displays a double digit to her age, Dahye approaches her final years of high school slowly but surely. And, himself... an idol? Did such a thing even suit him?

Seojin can't help but wonder how things got to be so different.

The same thoughts cross his mind as he sits at one of the tables among other artists, senior and up and coming alike. It is unlike him to quietly observe his surroundings, and he supposes he should strike up as many conversations as he can while here. But forget schmoozing the senior artists. ( And noting to apologize to his mother for not getting Minwoo's autograph. ) He cannot help but gravitate toward those he hadn't had the pleasure of seeing for quiet some time, his other attentions directed toward his manager, Kyuhwan, who he'd been intent to get closer to since the two were introduced.

She glances over at her designated partner, Hanbyul. She is an older student, nearer to graduation at this point than Yoona is to her next existential crisis. Her eyes travel back to the pile of sticks and leaves after making a b-line ( without much of a word ) for one of the larger trees in the campus courtyard. She only turns her head when she falls into a squat, long dark skirt catching on some of the twigs.

Her hands rifle through the pile, haphazardly searching for pretty enough leaves and sticks that are not bent and twisted and setting them aside. Eventually, her plucking at the pile reveals a long wiggling thing hanging limply on the end of a rather long stick. It is bright green, white and purple dashes on the side and a long black horn on the end.

"Unnie. Come look."

Com tantos Centros de Treinamento Olímpico espalhados pelo mundo, por que o Hamdeok Complex?

O Yamaguchi Shuu é um dos meus ídolos dentro do snowboard desde que eu era moleque, e ser treinado diretamente por ele é uma oportunidade que eu não podia deixar passar.

E como você entrou? Alguém te indicou e você passou pelos testes, você se inscreveu voluntariamente para fazer os testes ou houve alguma contribuição monetária envolvida?

Fui indicado pelo meu antigo treinador. Ele treinou por muitos anos no complexo, e é próximo do diretor, o que talvez tenha facilitado um pouco o processo, mas não se engane—o mérito de passar pelos testes foi todo meu.

Você certamente se destaca no esporte que pratica. O que motivou a sua escolha por ele?

Foi mais uma evolução natural do que uma escolha, para falar a verdade. Meus pais tocam um resort nas montanhas de Borlänge, e minha mãe era instrutora de snowboard—assim que eu aprendi a ficar em pé, já estava em cima de uma prancha. E, como você pode ver, nunca mais saí.

Pode nos contar, brevemente, sobre sua trajetória no esporte até o momento?

Apesar de já praticar há bastante tempo, eu só comecei a competir mesmo com 16 anos. Na verdade, foi minha mãe quem me inscreveu no meu primeiro campeonato, sem nem me contar até o dia da competição. Nessa época, eu nem considerava me tornar um atleta, mas tomei gosto pelas competições e, bem, não tem como negar que eu sou bom nisso. Então continuei participando de campeonatos locais até conseguir uma classificação para os Nacionais da Suécia de 2020, onde fiz minha estreia profissional. De lá para cá, consegui uma prata em 2022, e depois o primeiro bronze da minha antiga equipe nos Asiáticos, no ano passado, o que me rendeu um pouco de reconhecimento aqui na Coreia. Infelizmente, pouco depois do campeonato, minha mãe ficou doente e faleceu. Nem preciso dizer que foi devastador para mim. Não consegui nem olhar para a prancha por meses depois disso, e nem pretendia participar de nada esse ano, mas meu pai insistiu que eu não deveria jogar todo o meu esforço fora, e aqui estou eu.

Quais são suas maiores qualidades e maiores defeitos? Como elas influenciam seu dia a dia como atleta?

Eu sou um cara que gosta de tomar riscos, e isso me ajuda muito nas pistas, seja na hora de escolher o percurso a seguir ou de arriscar uma manobra mais complicada, me rendendo um bom destaque nas competições. Prefiro aproveitar as oportunidades e me arrepender depois, do que olhar para trás e pensar que poderia ter feito melhor. Às vezes isso estressa meus treinadores, que sempre reclamam que eu não sigo suas ordens à risca e que me coloco em risco à toa, mas qual o problema de sair da linha de vez em quando? Deu certo para mim até hoje, não deu?

Sabemos que é uma grande honra ser convocado para representar seu país nos jogos olímpicos, mas existe alguma outra razão pela qual você deseje isso?

Eu ainda não tive a chance de dar esse orgulho à minha mãe, e não posso desistir antes de fazer isso acontecer.

it’s the new term and on the morning of OCTOBER 7, the following trainees were gathered to a meeting with JANG INSUNG:

“as some of you may have noticed in LGC FALL BOYS, CHOI JUNKYU and KANG YOOJOON will now be joining V&A. originally we had offered the opportunity to KWON HYUNTAE as well but because of unexpected circumstances, he will not be joining them. after talking to the coaches and our evaluations over the trainees who have and still are a part of TEAM UNKNOWN, we’ve decided to extend the opportunity to KANG MINJUN, who will be joining V&A in the VERSUS unit.” INSUNG tells the trainees first, wanting to get the most important news out of the way before explaining other details that some of the trainees may be interested in.

once the VERSUS’ manager ( LEE KYUHWAN ) arrived, INSUNG instructed MINJUN to follow the manager to meet with the rest of the V&A members. more details about this will be mentioned in the V&A MISSION post.

NEW TRAINEES & ANNOUNCEMENT

“now our next order of business. we have two new trainees joining TEAM UNKNOWN, MIN HANBIN and PARK HYUKJAE. while you two weren’t considered to be a part of the LGC FALL BOYS project, we decided to let you join this group instead especially now that i’m about to reveal to you what this part of the project entails. usually by this point we don’t disclose what the group is evaluated for. the other trainees can attest to this — the first part of this project was to see everyone’s progresses, evaluate them based on specific skills, and prepare them for LGC FALL BOYS. after seeing those results, we’ve selected the trainees who we thought would be best suited for LGC FALL BOYS and V&A. now this part is to assess and see who deserves to be a part of TYPE ZERO. yes, you heard it right. we’re looking to see if there is anyone who is ready to be a part of TYPE ZERO. so we’re giving you until the end of today to decide whether you are interested and ready for this. we don’t want any trainee to be a part of this project that isn’t interested or won’t take this seriously because that is a waste of time and energy for both of us.” INSUNG stated, studying every trainee’s reaction carefully.

“all of you are dismissed. see you in a few days.” INSUNG concluded the short meeting with a bow and wave as he exited out of the room.
