Lovely retro Showa feeling for this outfit. The kimono is tailored from kihachijō (yellow silk with dark striped or checkered pattern from Hachijō island)​. The matching obi has a lovely kuwazomeiro base (a color once produced from mulberry, very fashionable during Edo) and the cutest red “tail” on the tare.
