Avery (クスケチャ, Kusukecha) is a cranky eagle villager who features in Animal Forest e+, City Folk, and New Leaf, being absent from Wild World.

His name comes from "aviary," a place for keeping birds.

His initial phrase is a cross between the sound an eagle makes and "yee-haw", a common cowboy phrase, relating to his Wild West-style house decor.
