These three tracks stood out in the second volume of Kuroshitsuji soundtrack, composed and arranged by Ryo Kawasaki.

I might’ve been expecting a lot from the Radetzky March. The original version is bombastic, grandiose, threatening, yet victorious. This is Mr. Kawasaki’s rendition so I forgive him and it is made entirely for the anime.

But, but you have to listen to “Noble Break” in a loud volume because it kicks ass. I love its urgency. Then it changes its tempo. The choir is brought in making it more pompous as if it marks Ciel’s different stages of emotions.

“Her Majesty’s Watchdog” is self-explanatory with its solemnity symbolising the Queen and the boy’s pact. The solo violin shows its teeth, which is Ciel, while the cello (Queen) tries to overcome it. It feels like a conversation between the two figures.

This is so far my first listen. I might write a review of the two volumes after properly listening to the pieces.

Goth Kurotypes - One

AURGHHH IM SO EXCITED TO FINALLY POST THE FIRST PART OF THIS POROJECT!!!

I decided to go with the current "main" characters, as the general focus of the story is currently on these four, so I thought it'd only be right if they were the first in this whole series.

Now I am aware Gothic Ouji and Lolita aren't necessarily goth, but I do often see other goths uplift the styles, especially those who also listen to J-Rock and Visual Kei. Not to mention how the entire style was and is being inspired by the same things that many goths love (i.e. elegance, vampires, history, etc.)
