Suguru sat at the cafe table, absentmindedly stirring his coffee as Satoru’s voice filled the air.

“I’m just saying, Midnight Lament was the best performance of the night,” Satoru declared, waving his hands for emphasis. “She nailed that high note like—”

“Like you didn’t scream and scare half the crowd?” Shoko cut in, smirking behind her drink.

Suguru barely listened, his focus pulled by the familiar figure across the street. It was her—Crimson Veil’s lead singer. The idol Satoru had been raving about all night.

Before he could look away, she spotted him.

To his surprise, she smiled slightly and crossed the street, heading straight for their table.

“Excuse me,” she said, her voice soft but distinct. Her gaze flickered to each of them, lingering on Suguru for just a moment longer. “I hope I’m not interrupting.”

Satoru nearly choked on his drink. “Interrupting? You’re a legend. You can interrupt any time!”

The reader laughed lightly. “Thank you. I just wanted to say hi. It’s rare to see fans so close without the usual chaos.”

“You’re talking to *the* biggest fan,” Shoko said dryly, gesturing to Satoru.

“Guilty,” Satoru said, beaming. “And this guy—” he pointed at Suguru “—was totally starstruck at the concert.”

Suguru shot him a glare. “I wasn’t starstruck.”

“Sure,” Shoko muttered.

The reader tilted her head slightly, intrigued. “Were you there last night?”

Suguru met her gaze, calm despite the slight buzz in his chest. “I was. You’re... talented.”

“Thank you.” Her smile was softer now, more personal. “It’s always nice to meet people who appreciate what we do.”

Satoru, ever the opportunist, leaned forward. “You know, if you ever need a local guide or someone to hang out with while you’re in town, we’re available.”

Shoko rolled her eyes, but the reader chuckled. “That’s generous of you. I’ll keep it in mind.”

Satoru immediately pulled out his phone. “Here, let me give you my number.”

Suguru felt a nudge from Shoko, who muttered, “You’re hopeless if you don’t do the same.” Reluctantly, he handed over his phone when the reader glanced at him expectantly.

She typed in her number, then smiled at the group. “Thanks. It was nice meeting you all. I’ll see you around.”

As she walked away, Satoru turned to Suguru, wide-eyed. “Do you even realize what just happened?”

Suguru leaned back in his chair, staring at the contact saved in his phone.

“Yeah,” he said quietly. “I think I do.”

A flicker, a spark,

a breath caught in the wrong rhythm.

It isn’t real—

just the play of light,

a trick of the moment

cast by time’s unsteady hand.

They say hearts can stumble,

but mine knows its pace,

measured and sure,

immune to the sway of passing shadows.

Still, something lingers.

A glance misplaced,

It must be a mistake,

Edit: I have MUCH more to say on this now that I've read some other inputs:

The problem isn't "block and move on" or "ur arguing for fiction..." it's the fact people are exposing minors and already mentally ill people to VERY REAL and DISGUSTING scenarios. It doesn't matter that they're fictional, what they're writing about is a real issue. Blocking tags doesn't work most of the time, so stop saying to shut up and just use that feature.

Another thing is that people are making these writings so normal that they are making others think it's okay. When I was younger, I had unsupervised internet access and was exposed to smut like this. It messed me up and got me institutionalized because I didn't know it wasn't okay to talk about. Minors nowadays are also very unsupervised and will come across your stuff. I'm worried for the next generation.

Last thing, the excuse "they're just fiction" is flawed because you're ignoring the PSA! You wouldn't say this if it was about something else, right? If someone was saying: "I love lolicon!" You wouldn't block and move on. You would call their asses out and comment bomb them. It's the same concept, except on a broader spectrum. You're enabling the behavior of these vile creatures that need serious help. You're not doing anyone any good by saying "this is so unnecessary" or "they're fictional..."

I can't with the sheer stupidity and disrespect

I just got an ask that said

So I blocked them. Because you can block anonymous people. Because they for some reason thought it be appropriate to brag they blatently disrespect my rules and almost brag about the fact they weren't blocked yet?

But I can tell there's a lack of emotional maturity and not because they are a minor. It's because they think of it as a game to work around the rules and "sneak by" them. They think it's appropriate to outwardly brag that they have been disrespecting my wishes. Now they're blocked and I'm uncomfortable. I'm not sure who won in this scenario

I don't get it though. If you enjoy a creator and their work why do you feel so brazen to completely disrespect them and their rules? Why do you not have enough respect for the creator you enjoy to just listen to them? Just don't interact. That's all I ask. But you can't fight the urge to like, comment, or show up in my asks?

Did it ever occur to them I say no minors because I'm uncomfortable with them engaging with my content?
