Happy New Year from Bunnybird & Magister Sena!

As a new year begins, I'd like to extend my sincerest wishes and thanks to the Merlinverse community for all the happiness you've brought me in 2024. Without going into too much detail, it was a rough year for me, but finding this community, meeting all of you wonderful people, learning about your OCs and their lore, and getting to know the amazing individuals behind the characters has given me such a profound sense of happiness and fulfilment, and I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for that. This community has been so kind and welcoming and genuine, and I am so proud of how far it's come in such a short time. Getting to see it grow from a handful of Merlins and their creators into what it is today has been an absolute honour, and I look forward to seeing how it grows and changes in the year to come. Here's wishing all Magisters, OCs and Creators a Happy New Year filled with joy, motivation, inspiration and success, because you all deserve it so much.

Hmmm, I don’t think I’ve drawn her smiling often.

One of the things Lisin used to be able to do: making these rainbow-colored flames.

She could manipulate the colors of her flames at will (as well as her tail being either a literal flame or a warm fluffy fox tail) and the colors are purely aesthetics. But, like Talene, she could independently control the temperature of her flames also at will.

When it feels more like a fragment of a memory… than the memory itself.

Tried something new for this one. This style of coloring felt quite therapeutic, so I may keep experimenting with it for a while.

A commission I drew for my partner, and it’s of our Magisters, and they too are a thing like us. 💕

Satok, the white-haired one, also has his own lore tidbits, Satok isn’t his real name either, and he’s actually a Hypogean (as she, Fox, is actually Lisin and she’s a Celestial).

I hope to eventually draw a picture of how he as a Hypogean actually looked like… My partner also played the game but his job’s got him so busy he couldn’t play as much as before, but I still try to keep updated for him and everything hehehe

Blood warning! And slight gore-

My blog is shamelessly edgy in appearance with attempts to be lowkey mYsTeRIOus but is actually a pretty jolly chill guy who likes to hang around fandoms of the things they love, though the aesthetic isn't just for show, they and I genuinely have taste for it too! (meatcore, slaughtercore and shout out to morute)

Eye motifs because I use my blog to mostly lurk around and look at things that I love and hearting every post I like (eyeball necklace to the heart diagram shirt they're wearing, ong symbolismm👻)

A lil wide smarmy grin because while it might not look like it, trust, y'alls posts brings a smile to my face seeing y'all create content to be enjoyed and that I'll shamelessly enjoy. Teeth earrings/piercings as a way to say that I don't mind ppl chewing on my ear, a.k.a listening to what folks want to say about the stuff they enjoy too. May not always get it 100% but effort counts! And the saw and blood? Don't mind! They didn't actually murder someone, they were just cooking up a meaty meal in the kitchen and one day hopes you'd like to come over and have a bite and indulge in what they, and in turn, I make! :3

Alrighty, here we go with the first actual AFKJ art I’ve drawn. It’s traditional, it’s my Merlin, my pride and joy.

The name she goes by is Fox.

This was during Song of Strife and I started playing at launch so I already had ideas for her character development and such prior to drawing this, I was just too intimidated to actually draw until this point shfksj

Her backstory is as canon compliant as it gets, so the more the game itself reveals something, the more I’ll see and figure if I can fill in any blanks.

Or who knows, the more I keep posting these the more I’ll yap about her lore or something…

P.S: I’ll probably make this a master post too since I figured out how to pin it

Fox trying to do research on the Void Relic, but it… raises even more questions. It’s tough to try and figure them out when there seems to be technically zero clues that can lead her to the answers (or get closer to them).

May be me being silly, but if we count just the background from their respective pov’s, Cyran’s is colorful while Merlin’s (in my case, Fox’s) is gray, just the snow.

Just something I noticed while drawing this, but well. I more so wanted to point that out there, though if this was intentional in some form then I’d give Lilith a slow round of applause.
