✿ you were the only child of a famous art-dealer and an inugami. everyone around you adored you, constantly comparing you to a puppy, which was becoming increasingly hard with your strong mood swings.

✿ you were 8, and your mother had just recently died, leaving you with an early trauma. nachi had been a nekomata for just 5 years, though by technicality he was way older.

✿ you'd ran away from home, being at home still being too hard for you. you were huddled in an alleyway, debating whether to go home or not when you noticed a starving cat a few meters away from you. all your own worries suddenly disappeared, and the need to take care of the little thing took over. so you picked him and started walking. your father was rather confused to find you in the main room trying to feed a kitten tuna.

✿ you officially adopted nachi as your pet after that, of course under the name tama. the two of you were almost never separated, and you made taking care of tama your utmost priority, mostly at first to distract yourself from the grief. but soon it became just a habit to always be together.

✿ nachi didn't really know who you were, but he loved you from the first sight. you were so gentle and kind, even when you had tear tracks down your cheek. and after you took him in, he swore to always protect you. you obviously thought he was just a cat, but you loved him all the same. he was just so tiny, so vulnerable. you couldn't help but want to take care of him. you somehow instantly knew that he would become your best friend.

✿ you were the only child of a famous art-dealer and a kuchisake-onna. you were an extremely insecure person due to this, and people mostly just saw you at the local sweets stores. you dislikes being around people too much to be anywhere else.

✿ you were 25, a year older than kagemaru. your mother had been killed 15 years before, while his parents died almost two decades prior.

✿ you'd been on your way to your usual store, when you saw the prettiest geisha you'd ever seen. of course, you didn't approach her, you would've rather done cartwheels down the avenue rather than talk to a person, but she saw you and came up to you to flirt. it didn't take you too long afterwards to figure out that this wasn't a pretty woman, but a pretty man. kagemaru was rather impressed with you figuring that one out.

✿ you started seeing kagemaru pretty much every time you made your usual sweets run, though you were refusing to actually speak to him for a long time, especially after he started asking about your mask. eventually you started talking to him though, and started a tentative friendship (mostly founded on the fact that he gave you sweets every once in a while).

✿ kagemaru found you interesting. that was most of his thoughts at first. you were so pretty, he was certain, if only you didn't wear that damn mask. but he was willing to be patient for you, for some odd reason. he wouldn't have, for anyone else. kagemaru was the most beautiful person you'd ever seen. and it was very intimidating. you were fairly certain he wasn't exactly as appeared, his presence far too sinister, but somehow you knew he wouldn't harm you. he never had, and never would.

✿ you were the only child of a famous art-dealer and a hō-ō. you ran a little business of your own, making clothes for people, mostly for weddings. everyone around the city knew to come to you for the most beautiful of kimonos and yukatas.

✿ you were 20, as was aki. he'd been in the military for three years, about the same amount of time you'd been running your little shop out of your home.

✿ akiyasu came by your home to get his clothing fixed, as he'd been recommended by tatsuomi to come to you. the moment you opened the doors for him, akiyasu got way too flustered to make the request he'd come for, and almost ran away. if it wasn't for you offering him some tea you'd just made, he probably would have. so he eventually got the courage to come inside and actually talk to you, though it took some coaching from you.

✿ akiyasu started coming by often, at first with excuses of fixing his clothing, but eventually he just came by to chat. you didn't think this particularly strange, there were plenty of people who came by just to talk to you, which you admittedly loved doing. but something did tell you that this wasn't just about a little chatting.

✿ akiyasu took a moment to realize what you actually were, at least the onmyoji part, you were way too distractingly bright. but after he did, he realized you were perfect. far too perfect in fact, something about you... but his mission was more important than any of that. you found akiyasu to be extremely cute, a lost little puppy who wondered into your shop unexpectedly. but a part of you also found his presence to be unnerving. you had no idea why, he never acted strange or anything, but something about him made you ache.

≿━━━━༺❀ tatsuomi oyama ❀༻━━━━≾

✿ you were the only child of a famous art-dealer and an enenra. a tragic little story for most people, and for the rest the weird little kid with an unhealthy fascination with fire. not that you much cared for anyone's opinions.

✿ you were five, just a child. it had been two weeks since the fire, since your mother died. tatsuomi was two years older than you, barely aware of the world himself.

✿ tatsuomi's family came to visit you, to help your father after your mother's death. you'd been sitting in the yard, while your father talked to general. nobody wanted to bother you, you'd been so strange since the incident. but tatsuomi, he saw you in the yard and came by to talk to you. he was the first person who didn't look at you weirdly in weeks. so you let him play with you.

✿ initially, tatsuomi's father didn't want him spending time with you (your play tended to be rather disturbing sometimes), but after seeing the effect it had on the both of you, he allowed tatsuomi to come and go as he pleased. and soon enough the two of you were inseparable.

✿ tatsuomi did in fact find you kind of strange, but no stranger than any other five year old he'd ever met. and somehow tatsuomi knew that you were most likely just lonely, with no one around who understood. so he became the one who did. tatsuomi was... nice. that was really the only way you could initially describe him. but he was the first person who was nice to you in a long time. even your father didn't look at you that kindly. so he became someone you clung to.

✿ you were the only child of a famous art-dealer and a ningyo. you were a well respected researcher in town, though nobody really knew what you were ultimately researching about. so, despite your sinister eyes, people often came to you for help.

✿ you were 25, and already a well respected member of society. your mother had died a decade prior. yakumo was... well, nobody actually knew how old he was. he'd just recently arrived in japan.

✿ you were researching western mythological creatures, which your father had become aware of, so using his connections he arranged a meeting with professor koizumi. a meeting which you gladly took. and the moment you stepped into his office, was the moment that completely changed both of your lives. it was a single instant, of absolute obsession. to say the rest of the meeting went well would be an understatement.

✿ you and yakumo became intense research partners, spending copious amounts of time in your offices together. though very little of that time was actually spent on any research, more so on finding more and more about each other and fueling what was to the rest of the world becoming an unhealthy obsession.

✿ yakumo felt it deep in his soul the moment your eyes met. the spark of life he'd not felt in so long, if ever. and despite your status as an alpha, you seemed to be made of porcelain. so fragile, so easily breakable. he couldn't let anything happen to you, not again. when you met yakumo, all your troubles seemed to disappear. which was strange, you were always troubled. in fact, you don't remember a time you weren't. and he was so lost looking, he looked like he needed direction in life. and you had always been one for him, hadn't you?

The Winds of Change

Summary: Alternate end to Koga's route, where Aki's offer is beginning to look a little bit more appealing

A/N: I know there's only like six of you in this fandom, but it's such a masterpiece I can't

"I'm not your enemy, Y/N," Aki said firmly. "If you don't believe me, see for yourself." 

He gestured to the scene playing out below you. With a suspicious glance at him, you walked to the edge of the roof, just in time to see Aizen run Koga through with a sword.

"No!" You screamed, and you could have sworn Koga smiled up at you before he collapsed and stopped moving. 

Maybe it was your contract breaking, maybe it was your heart that you'd finally started letting your love for Koga make its way into, but you felt an immense pain and pressure, as the world around you faded.

You became dimly aware of Kuya flying to the roof, and wrapping his arms around you to fly you to somewhere safe, but you could only hear a dull ringing in your ears.

He'd taken you to the hidden shrine. And you'd just laid there curled in on yourself for days on end. You could hear Yura and Gaku trying to get through to you, and see Aoi feeding you something, but you never knew what they were saying.

Eventually, you heard a beautiful drum sound, and the world came clearer to you. Gaku sat in front of you, drumming what you could only assume was a healing song.

"Gaku?" You whispered, and you felt someone practically jump on you and wrap you in a hug.

"Y/N, I was so worried," Nachi whimpered. "It was like you were dead."

"Nachi, you're going to suffocate them," you heard Aoi protest, and Nachi backed away.

"In your previous lifetime, when thou wast our master, thou passed on before the rest of us," Yura said, giving you a soft reassuring smile. "I can only imagine the pain thou must have felt losing someone thine soul was bonded to."

"Koga," you whispered, your chest feeling tight as you tried to hold back tears.

"Aye," Gaku muttered, looking at you with sadness. "But you have to move forward, or the rest of us will lose you again." 

Ginnojo placed a hand on yours. "Live for his memory and his cause, and he will always be with you."

You smiled at all of them gratefully. 

"I think there's some things we need to rethink," you whispered, and watched them all nod solemnly. "Where's Kuya?" You asked, realizing the tengu was nowhere to be seen. 

"We don't know," Aoi looked frustrated and scared all at once. "That lazy tengu  disappeared after getting you to safety."

"He'll return once he is ready, worry not," Yura placed a gentle hand on your shoulder. 

You nodded, and stood up, ignoring the protests of Nachi and Aoi. 

You formed a familiar, and sent the butterfly on its way, before turning to your friends. 

"There's some things we need to talk about."

                                      ….

You stood outside of the shrine, long after the sun had set. Finally, a white egret arrived, followed quickly by the appearance of Aki.

"Well," he raised a single eyebrow at you. 

You held out a hand to him, which he took, giving it a gentle squeeze. Despite everything, his eyes said he still wanted your approval.

"We've all been talking," you said, as firmly as possible. "We're going to join your cause, Aki."

⛩️ Akiyasu always wants to protect you, so please, don’t run into something stupid or dangerous. He wants to come home and see you safe and healthy there with no scratches and wounds.

⛩️ If you are an Onmyoji, he will try to teach you everything he had learned in his life, so Akiyasu knows that you can also protect youself, but he will send Kagemaru after you, so he knows that you are truly safe.

⛩️ If you aren’t an Onmyoji, then Akiyasu will never tell you anything about his occupation and tries to change the topic all the time. He just wants you to be safe, so please stop mentioning his job!

⛩️ If you have a pet, the poor man will try to get friendly with it, but deep down, he just wants to run away and throw the pet away!

⛩️ Whenever you look away, he actually walks far away from your pet and starts stuttering and sweating when your pet comes near the afraid Onmyoji.

⛩️ If you notice his fear of animals, then he will cling himself onto you, refusing to let you go until the animal will walk away.

⛩️ He is amazed by you. How comes that you aren’t afraid of them? Those beasts could kill you and bite you like a dog did back in his past!

⛩️ He loves to spend his time with you, while he lays his head on your lap and reads books with you. It’s really relaxing!

⛩️ He doesn’t want to admit it, but he gets very shy, whenever you kiss him. Even if you kiss him lightly on his cheek or his fingertips, his cheeks will turn a dark red.

⛩️ “I am really lucky that I have found such a wonderful s/o…” He smiles at you, holding your hand in his, promising himself that nothing bad will ever happen to you. He will make sure of it.

Hello :3 recently just found you and was taken by your Ayakashi rr headcannons. :D Can I ask for a request? A fem reader...?

If it's okay:))) can I have a request of headcannons for the night faction? Wherein the s/o is together with the guys, then, the s/o new friend, who clearly likes her ( but doesn't realize it ), then ask her to go somewhere with him. After that, he shows her his true intentions and ask her to go for a date.

Clearly, the night dudes are just watchi'n as they see you reject the friend. But things went far cause the friend's started to force himself upon the s/o. I really want to know their reactions, how they deal the perv, and confront/lecture that friend.

I really hoped for this, tho it's okay if not.

🐈 Nachi’s ears were very good, which might be why he listened in the conversation of you and your friend’s. He couldn’t stop himself, because he wanted to know if you wanted to go on a date with that guy, that he had never liked, or not.

🐈 Thank goddess, that you had rejected him, but never had he thought that the guy Nachi disliked so damn much, would still try to force himself on you. He grabbed your wrist, whispering words in your ear, until Nachi had enough.

🐈 How dare that guy to touch you! His dear friend and crush! “Don’t you dare to touch her!” He screamed loud, running to you two, before he kicked the guy in the face, surprising not only you but also the creep.

🐈 “N-Nachi!” You wanted to say something, but your dear friend had grabbed your hand, running far away from the alley and away from that creep, while his lips curled up. Maybe now he looked like a prince to you and can swoop you off your feet one day!

🕷️ Worst mistake your dear friend could ever have done. He should never had asked you out on a date. Especially press you on a wall, whispering some words at you, while you shook in fear, trying to get away from the creep.

🕷️ “If I were you, I would let her go.” Kagemaru tried to give that creep a nice smile, even though the was mad. “What the hell do you want?” The man that you had called a criend, turned around, glancing at Kagemaru, before he gulped.

🕷️ Within a few seconds, he was lying on the ground, bleeding out of many injuries, while Kagemaru put his arm over your shoulder, turning you away from the guy.

🕷️ “Let’s go. I don’t want you near that guy… I’m the only one who may take you on dates.”

⛩️ He will be jealous, when he hears the creep asking you out on a date. That guy did something that Akiyasu could never do, fearing that you will reject him. But thankfully, you rejected that guy. Maybe one day, Aki will find some confidence and ask you out!

⛩️ A sigh left his lips, before he saw what was going on. That guy just forced himself onto you, while you tried to keep him off of you.

⛩️ “Get away!” He yelled out, surprising not only the two of you but also himself. “What the hell do you want?” The creep glanced at Aki, not noticing how you raised your foot and kicked him there where no man wants to get kicked at.

⛩️ “Uh…” He doesn’t know what exactly he should say, but you were there. Taking his arm and wrapping it with yours, as you walked with him away. “Thanks…” He heard you mutter, while his cheeks warmed up by a mere word.

🗡️ Good thing that his shift hasn’t ended and that he had hear you nearby. Tatsu had walked to you two with his sword in his hand, gazing at the creep with madness in his eyes.

🗡️ The poor guy nearly had pissed into his pants, forgetting that you had somebody like Tatsuomi as your friend. Maybe he should have left you, after you had rejected him so nicely.

🗡️ When you sigh in relief, Tatsuomi will be there. He belongs to the people who won’t feel jealous, but more protective.

📚 Yakumo raised his eyebrow, when he heard your voice. “Stop that!” He heard you scream at the man; you had once introduced to the blonde and had called a friend.

📚 “There you are, my love.” The blonde had immediately walked to you, grabbing you by the hand to pull you behind him. “I’m sorry, but (y/n) already has a boyfriend and that’s me.” He smiles at the guy.

📚 Slowly, he will move his head to the creep. “No leave.” He will whisper to him, before the blonde will turn around and kiss your forehead. “Thanks for helping out there, Yakumo… and playing my boyfriend.”

📚 “Playing? I was hoping to become your boyfriend.” He will smile at you, walking with you to a nearby café hand in hand, while you look up at him with flushed cheeks.

🌊 It was a cold night. You were sitting next to Ginnojo, reading a book as he glanced a couple of times at you, noticing that you shivered a little bit.

🌊 He puts away his own book and gets a pillow and fluffy blanket, putting the pillow next to you and the blanket over your body.

🌊 You looked up, raising your eyebrow at your boyfriend, who smiled at you softly.

🌊 “I don’t want you to freeze. Please, stay warm, so you won’t catch a cold.” He sat himself next to you, as you put half of your blanket over him. This small gesture made his cheeks turn slightly red, while you two read in comfortable silence your books.

🔮 Aoi was very busy with his work and his studies, but when he stared at you and noticed that you shivered, the ayakashi sighed.

🔮 With a cup full of warm milk, he walks to you, putting it in front of you to nag, that you should go home, but when you explained to him, that you will wait for him, he will get flustered and puff his cheeks.

🔮 A few minutes later, he will sat himself next to you, pressing his arm against yours, while you leaned on him, drinking your milk.

🔮 “Drink faster… I finished my work now. I will bring you home, so you can warm yourself up there.” – “Will you cuddle with me?” You asked him with your big doe eyes, while Aoi jumped a little bit. “Huh!? What!?” He scratched his cheek, turning away from you to hide his burning cheeks. “I-If you want to…”

🎪 “I got these sweets!” Kuro smiled, running to you, while you were sitting in front of the warm fireplace and held up a bag of so-called marshmallows, that he got from some place you’ve never ever been. “What is this?” You asked him, only to get a small explanation that they were marshmallows and tasty, just like mochi were.

🎪 “Let’s warm them up! I heard that they will be tasty if we eat them warm.” He hummed, holding them near the fire, before he put his arm over your shoulder, leaning onto you.

🎪 He chuckled, telling you that he loved to hold you in his arms, because you not always warmed up his heart, but also his body with just a mere and lovely hug.

🎪 “If you are getting colder, let’s go back inside, alright? I don’t want you to freeze, (y/n)!”

🐈 Nachi would always warm you up with his hugs! He is a big fan of cuddles and showing you his affection and love by giving you heartwarming hugs

🐈 So, every time if it was just a little bit cold, he will pull you into his arms, trying to warm you up like this.

🐈 “I can’t walk like this, Nachi!” You laughed, while your boyfriend was clinging on your back on this cold night, refusing to let you go.

🐈 “Fine!~ Then I will just cuddle you like this!” He turned into his other form, cuddling you with his little soft paws

⛩️ Akiyasu walks you home, hand in hand, while you two talked about a few things that happened on the day.

⛩️ The wind kissed your skin, making you shiver slightly, but you told your boyfriend that you weren’t feeling cold, so he won’t worry about you.

⛩️ Silently, Akiyasu puts his jacket over you, telling you that he doesn’t feel cold, even if it’s snowing on this cold, dark winter day. Thanking him, you cuddled yourself into his big jacket, making him smile at you.

⛩️ “I am so sorry that you got a cold!” You apologized, bringing your now sick boyfriend tea, as he lied with fever in bed. “It’s alright… As long as you are alright, I’m alright.”
