Have you ever looked at a cosplayer truly enjoying themselves and had a sudden flash of 'oh my goodness I could be playing the game right now'? Because I did last night @kupocon When @dreams_in_the_noct was twirling long to the music as Summoner Yuna from FFX. Not only did she look like she was some form of royalty twirling about, she also looked like any second now the floor of the ballroom would open to the Farplane and she'd be performing a sending-- Everything looked so fantastic and I couldn't be more amazed and amused to call someone whom I originally met on the internet my friend. I'm excited for Kupocon:The Bigger Pom in NJ THIS Weekend. IF the cosplay still fits during the day I'll being doing a Moogle Chocobo Carnival Prompto from FFXV (photocred to @nightlightphotograph who took that photo at PCCD 2018) ...and then for the insomnia ball I'll be doing a fancy ballgown version of Rikku from FFX/X-2 with my Yuna and Lulu. (Which is an amazing commission from @aimiecosplay and they're probably going to have to make me not wear it all day!) So we're going to all agree to ignore my derpy smile here but... ... I met Quinton Flynn at @kupocon ! Which was actually super cool for me because he voices TWO of my favourite Final Fantasy/KH characters, my messy redheaded boys Reno and Axel. (Who are incidentally cosplays that I'd love to do some day...) Anyway, this was definitely the guest I was most excited to meet and he was super sweet and lovely and my brain short circuited so I didn't get to tell him that his VA work was a definite part of my childhood.
