Robber's Cave (locally known as Guchhupani) is a natural cave forming river, one of the best places to visit in Dehradun. The name of the place is the fact that during the British rule the cave was hidden away by the robbers. Here, water formations are visible that flow through the cave. The Robber's Cave is divided in two parts by a strong building and a waterfall. Robber's cave is also known for its odd natural phenomenon, which shows a stream of water disappearing underground and may be re-emerging a few meters away. Robbers Cave is an excellent tourist attraction for Uttarakhand and a calm, peaceful and ideal place for picnics.
