!! MARC COMA JOINS THE BOARD OF KTM SPAIN !!

The Austrian manufacturer KTM AG is pleased to announce that previous KTM Factory Rally Racer and 5-times Dakar Rally Winner Marc Coma joins its Spanish subsidiary as General Manager on January 1st, 2019.

KTM Spain, led by Managing Director Cesar Rojo since 2001, is KTM AG’s 5th biggest subsidiary in Europe and amongst the fastest growing in recent years.

Cesar Rojo, who is looking back at a life-long career in motorcycle racing, as a racer or team manager, and in various management positions within the motorcycle industry, will stay as Managing Director on top of the Spanish organization, which also serves Portugal. In addition to his current duties, Rojo will absorb additional responsibilities for KTM AG’s parent company, KTM Industries AG, related to supply chain management as well as other strategic projects.

“We are always taking inspiration from our racing heroes like Marc. There are many parallels between being successful in racing and being successful in business. With Marc as part of our team at KTM Spain I am sure we are at the beginning of yet another success story”, said Cesar Rojo.

“I am really happy to come home to the orange family. I had a great time at ASO and worked hard to help keeping the Rally at the highest level of motorcycle racing. Now a new chapter started and I cannot wait to tackle my new business challenges with all the great people at KTM Spain and under the guidance of Cesar, who I have always admired as a sportsman as well as a business man”, said Marc Coma.
