Read this. 🐾 #Repost @kt.cats with @get_repost ・・・ Purrfect Paws🐾💚Hindenburg I don't normally make long personal posts, but this could save a life: One morning last week I happened to notice Burg squatting to pee for a very long time. He seemed fine otherwise, ate breakfast and lunch. I thought I'd just keep an eye on him. But when I came from work it was clearly not a 'wait and see' situation anymore. I found him curled up in a corner, panting. He cried when I picked him up and was clearly uncomfortable. He was rushed to the vet where they verified he was suffering from complete #urinaryobstruction This is FATAL if not treated immediately! He's been home for a few days now and is doing well. We're monitoring his litter box activity very closely for signs of blockage. He's been switched completely to prescription food and the other 4 cats will be switched over gradually, as this can be a common problem in multi-cat households. If you ever notice your cat straining to use the litter box, call your vet right away!
